Red Dot Bar in Milton Keynes

Bit of a weird football ground bar but lovely staff, great choices and a lovely buzz about it pre match. Could have done with few more leaning places

My family went here for a meal after the Young Dons Christmas party. Beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff. Disgusting food. When the four of us arrived home, we were all sick. Do not eat there.

Very disappointing for a Hilton Hotel. Wait staff is very rude. We came in holding a bottle of water and the waitress said they will kick us out for bringing drinks outside. We’re obviously there to eat and have drinks they could have politely told us to get rid of the bottle of water.

Food was very dry, was very bland, had no taste! The best part of the meal I had was the crisps. The standard and options for both drinks and food were really bad and to add to this, the price we paid was so high! You’d be better off spending your money on the restaurants outside.

Not much to choose from. A whole selection of items to choose from says the receptionist. But once inside the choice is limited and the offering poor. Food was OK, I guess, but not what we were expecting at a Hilton.. Order and pay for your food at the counter at a Hilton? No, not for me!

My daughter and her friends were all looking forward for weeks to their 6th form event arranged at this bar/restaurant on Friday. However, due to somebody breaking up the men's toilets, the youngsters were told to leave 45 minutes after arriving and they were not connected to the incident. They had just got on to the dance floor to enjoy themselves. It really spoilt their evening, and they won't be going there again. Management handled it badly. Unable to comment about the other service, as they had hardly got their coats off. Shame!

Excellent location, close to eateries. Situated in double tree hotel. Large dancefloor. Friendly staff, had a giggle with the commisionaires in the hotel. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

We went there for a comedy/magic show. The entertainment was okay. But why do female comediennes have to swear so much!!! The bar was well staffed and it was easy to get a drink. Not much else to say about this venue. Not a good venue for a magic act as could not see.

Hoy visité el bar Red Dot durante el MK Dons coincide. El bar estaba bastante lleno, así que tuvimos que esperar para ser servido. Me sirvió un caballero llamado AJ que era tan rápido, amable y eficiente en todo lo que estaba haciendo. El bar se las apañó muy bien.Sin duda recomiendo una visita, especialmente si se está ejecutando que bar AJ!

Nice sized room with dance floor, bar, seating and access directly outside for smoking area. Reasonably priced drinks for a hotel bar, fast polite service.

Un lugar encantador para nuestro grupo de personal que celebró 60. velada muy agradable con un buffet y un gran DJ. La habitación estaba decorada como lo pedí. Prosecco sirve como entramos. Una mención especial a Ollie que dirigía el bar y por la noche. Ollie no podían hacer lo suficiente para nosotros, muy amable y servicial. Sin duda reservar de nuevo el próximo año.

We stayed in the hotel for three nights so came down to this bar on the first night - found it expensive so never returned

SHOCKING bar prices!!! £2.60 for a soda water ( not even a bottle ) Shocking!!!! Poor and slow, oh so slow, service. A sold out comedy show and lousy service with ridiculous prices for water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perfect bar for a few beers before the game loads of tv screens and plenty of room. Reasonable prices as well

slow service; grouchy staff. Some of the doors from the hotel were locked preventing access so were left wandering around. Not welcoming.

This is an ideal little venue. Good service and a good location. Ok prices. I would visit again. Really well laid out for a wedding

Located a the street level of the Doubletree Hotel in Milton Keynes this bar is completely desserted. I went there (as I stayed at the hotel) but I don't like to drink beer alone! Find the bar at the 2nd floor. It's much nicer.

Scanning through the Milton Keynes restaurant section and saw a very negative review of the Club Red facility. Have been a Dons season ticket holder for two years and by virtue of taking enough guests to previous games my nephew and I were awarded free upgrades to Club Red for the last game of last season. Took 2 guests with us. We all enjoyed the experience and the food, pies of course!, was fine with full bar facilities. Half time teas and coffees were fine. Enjoyed the experience so much we have upgraded our season ticket to Club Red for this season

I've attended MK Dons several times and decided to try the Club Red faclity. It was simply awful. We ordered a jacket potato for one meal and coq au vin for the other. The potato (at £6?!) was rock hard, the chicken was dry and luke warm. The only drinks on offer was coke or lager, they had no other drinks for sale. The man on the table next to us complained about his food, they brought out a replacement which was just as bad so the Chef came out and in front of all of the people in Club Red told him if he didnt like the food to leave as he was not wanted. Tea & coffee at half time was cold and tasted like a Lidl's basic range. Such a shame as the location is so lovely but clearly the management there are not bothering to run the place properly. Certainly we wont be going again, will save our money and buy a pie in the cowshed!
