Popped in after dropping children off at Ravenscraigh, easy walking distance from RCraig with my dog. The pub really is dog friendly initially popped in for a drink but decided to try the food. It was steak night so treated myself- result great steak and sides Staff friendly and great dog corner set up. Will definitely be going again whilst winter training ar RCraig.

I really enjoy being here. I come here often for work and always feel very comfortable. Very good WiFi. Unfortunately it's not a given. Rooms fit, you can eat nice and taste a pint or two right next door. Always my pleasure

Visiting from Wales and highly recommend Ravens Cliff. Amazing service from all staff especially Gayle who had our son in stitches. Great food and desserts that were worth the calories.

Hotel a little tired looking in places, but for the price couldn't fault it. Great night sleep. Don't pre-book breakfast, we got ripped off. Paid for 3 full breakfasts but seeing as they didn't start serving hot food until 9.30 we had to leave without. Continental breakfast very poor choice.

Not great at all, some staff were better than others. Starters plates not cleared from our table as we ate pur mains. Food very average and cold. We will mot be back

Brilliant value, very convenient location for Motherwell.

I regularly work away from home and the RavensCliff Glasgow is now my first choice of place to go. Not only is it extremely reasonably priced, it’s clean & quiet. I always eat at the pub next door and staff are friendly and polite and the food is great. I never feel apprehensive travelling as a solo female here. The biscuits in the room is always an added bonus and treat.

The service was abysmal, waited 25 minutes for a terrible sundae when there was 7 tables in the restaurant, the turkey was cold and dry the mashed potatoes looked like they had been kept hot for about 4/5 hours all in all a terrible experience

Happy new year hope it was better than last year!!We turned up at 1.00pm to have a few drinks before the pantomime at ravens cliff and were soaked through to the skin water dripping off us and went into the building to be greeted to Do You Have A reservation in a very cheeky and abrrup manner.A welcome first would be good but this chap clearly was having a bad day so then he says without a booking your no coming in to answer his comments i say were only looking for a few drinks doesn't matter your no coming in to which point bar staff 6 in total start sniggering as claerly this guy on the meet and greet gets all the laughs thinks it cool to belittle guests well your not on absolute disgrace i told him dont worry you will never see me and my family again.I felt so strongly about this that i think guests have the right to be treated as people and not something on ones shoe!!

This is the second time that we have been to Raven's Cliff Restaurant for our family Christmas lunch. The amount of food was way more than enough, quality was excellent and tasted really really good. However the best part of day was our server Gail ( apparently also known as the crazy cat lady). Gail was really bubbly and attentive enough without being in your face too much. It is the first time that we had a problem giving a tip as the server felt that it was way too much.

Had loght lunch. Very good. Staff were very efficient and friendly.

Went for the festive lunch the desserts were divine in particular the praline tart and the sticky toffee pudding Grreat service

The Raven's Cliff is a great discovery, a friendly local place to eat and drink and dog friendly too. They even have a doggie menu and our dog loves to come here. Special thanks to Gail for being so kind to our pooch. For humans, the pizzas are recommended!

Food was amazing, great atmosphere and very friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to make our dinner a great experience. Even spoke with the head chef while he made our pizzas.

Firstly, the staff are amazing. They always are. We brought two pups (it was the first time out for one of them so we were a bit nervous as to how he would behave) but the staff made them, and us, extremely welcome as always....

Me and my hubby booked a table at the restaurant for our wedding anniversary , when we arrived the car park was clean and tidy, once we entered the building we were greeted quite promptly and politely with a smile by a lovely gentleman, I think he was the manager, once we were sat at our table we were asked if we wanted drinks, the service was fast and the girl who brought our drinks was happy and smiling, the restaurant was nice and clean and although it’s dog friendly, you can’t actually tell unless your sitting with them, we ordered our food shortly after and it came fast and warm All in all our experience at the restaurant was excellent and we will definitely be back

The room was very clean and the beds were so comfy to sleep on. We had breakfast the next morning which was fantastic also. I would 100% recommend anyone staying here.

Well very good but the heating did not work ther is no instructions for this at all it blows out cold air I tested this 8 times over night I am baffled it's maybe on timer down stairs this needs looked at and a wee book I'n all rooms to explain how this works but we had good stay we will be back soon and to test heating again hopefully attention will be given to this good value.for money the price does not stay the same we noticed this on arrival and other days the more people who book the price goes up this is well known practice at every inns hotel soon as it gets busy price goes up but we know this anyway but we think it's good place its handy also and good service also very good manners from staff they seel customer focused which is good we like this thank you from fort william

We have been coming to Raven's Cliff since it first opened however since the hotel part has opened the restaurant has went downhill massively. This experience was better than our last one where we waited nearly 2 hours on our food. Where this experience went downhill begins with the starters in which one was okay and decent priced (wings and ribs), whereas the Mac and cheese with pulled pork was no better than a microwavable meal and a small portion for nearly £8. The pulled pork you would predict would be in the Mac and cheese however it wasn't and initially wasn't brought out, only to discover it comes out in a separate bowl. This strongly indicates the Mac and cheese are either pre prepped on mass or are indeed microwave Mac and cheese. The mains were a similar story, one main (ultimate chicken burger) was okay, not as good as usual but still alright whereas the hunters chicken had clearly been left cooking too long. The cheese was burned and the chicken very dry. With only a miniscule amount of BBQ sauce on the hunters chicken this made the dry chicken much more noticeable. No complaints about the drinks. Staff were okay. Mostly were behind the bar chatting. As mentioned in the start, speed of service on this occasion was better than our last but still not great. You really are made to wait on your food longer than most other restaurants. Overall I can't recommend raven's cliff anymore. For £45 you could go to Carrigans in Hamilton or Montery Jack's in M&D's and get a much nicer starter and mains for near enough the same price, with better and speedier service. Unfortunately we won't be returning to Raven's Cliff for a while which is a shame as we have enjoyed the restaurant since it first opened.

Always fantastic food and service, the staff are always so friendly and polite everything me and my partner walk through the door, quality of food is brilliant and quick to arrive at table and pricing is very good.

Found this wee gem in Motherwell needed wee overnight for a concert. Rooms were perfect very spacious with everything needed well stocked tray for teas coffees snd biscuits nice touch . Large screen tv snd en-suite with bath/shower. We r joyed dinner in the restaurant before going to our concert great selection to choose ftom with reasonable prices Our only negative was that there was a distinct smell of cannabis in corridor at night when we returned which was annoying

Have visited here a few times but I’ve had to start eating gluten free just less than 2 weeks ago and was apprehensive about having a meal out for the first time. The Ravens Cliff had a specific gluten free menu which had way more choices than I expected. The staff are always lovely and food is great. My little dog loves coming there too! I was so impressed with the gluten free options and can’t wait to return again.

The staff were very friendly, our waiter was 5* service and couldn't be more apologetic when we had a hair in our food. He took it away and said he would sort it. However, after checking the bill this morning the bill hasn't had any deductions removed. The food was lovely and when we explained the mega mixed grill was to share staff were happy to get an extra plate for us. We had the £13 for 3 starters and felt this was really good value for money. Overall, we left stuffed and the bill didn't break the bank! We'll definitely be back.

Food was mediocre, and relatively expensive at £67 for a 3 course lunch for 2, with only a soft drink each. Service wasn't great, wasn't very busy, but service was bit slow. Won't rush back

Visited on 19th Nov 2022 for lunch. We were specifically looking for a place with good grub that allows doggies. My aunt found a newspaper article online about this place having a menu for dogs so we knew this was for us! It was quiet when we arrived. The place is comfortable and welcoming in a nice relaxed way. My aunt and I were starving as we'd not had breakfast and wee Max the chihuahua is always ready for a snack. We all shared a cheesy garlic pizza bread to start- cooked in a proper pizza oven. It was delicious and definitely worth the wait. My aunt and I had cod and chips and I was surprised how good the fish was, encased in a tasty, crunchy batter. Max had chicken from the dog menu and he wolfed it down (boom boom!) I skipped dessert but my aunt had apple crumble with custard and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd recommend this spacious pub to other fellow dog lovers who want/need/like to eat out with their pooches. The place has a dog photo wall and lots of wee dog friendly touches- a box of sticks for dogs and a water dispenser for dogs. The food was good! As was the service, friendly but not too intrusive. We were served by G10. She was very patient and helpful. Also it's nice to get chatting to all the other dogs and dog owners.

Staff were lovely and accomodating when we sent back the half roast chicken dinner, it was dry like cardboard, I then tried to beef and it was over chewy and reheated. I've never sent a meal back because you always hear horror stories about that kind of thing but I just couldn't pretend to eat it. We still ordered coffees and desert and the baby ice cream and left a tip because I know sometimes these things happen but OMG, I got home and went to bed and half way through the night the stomach cramps started, then the vomiting continuously, the diarrhea. I can't even keep water down. I've never experienced pain like this and I just don't want anyone to go through the same. The second dish came out soooo fast after sending the first one out it was clear it's a reheat job. I think the chicken is cooked early on and left under a heat to dry up and when someone orders it they give it a quick heat up and I know 100% I have food poisoning. If it doesn't look right don't sit through it, send it back. It's not worth what I'm going through now.

We visited as a family on a Saturday afternoon arm was surprised how quiet it was . Food was liked by everyone In The group and service was good. Good working Covid Procedures. I would return

First time in a year managed to get out the house with out the babies for a early dinner. So was really excited, the food was loverly, however the drinks we were served were out of date we went in may 10th and these ran out 13th April! On mentioning this we got a sorry but wasn’t offered anything else or it taken off the bill. Very disappointing on lack of good customer service.

After months with nowhere to go it was great to have a meal out with the family! The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great! Would definitely recommend!

Went to the Ravens Cliff for a friends birthday lunch. I’m vegan but checked out the menu in advance which boasted a good selection of options, unfortunately due to ‘problems with deliveries’ the options on the day were very, very limited and the waiting staff didn’t seem to understand that being vegan didn’t mean you wanted to eat just any vegetable, I wanted to enjoy my meal, I wanted choice... anyway the starter was good and tasty but the main (jackfruit burger) lacked any taste... kudos to the Ravens Cliff, they are clearly trying to accommodate vegans, but there’s still much to do around the customer experience - don’t make us real like we’re being awkward please.

We live very close to the pub and frequently attend here as a family and also my husband goes there to work. The staff are always very attentive and friendly. Today we were very impressed as the pub had arranged Santa to be there. It was a total surprise and both the elf and Santa were brilliant

Had booked a festive lunch for the family and we were looking forward to it . Unfortunately we thought we might have to cancel as my daughter had been a contact of confirmed Covid while at school - so she had to isolate. However James was very helpful and organised a collection of our order at the same time as our booking - allowing us to have our meal as planned at home.We always enjoy our food at Ravenscliff and they came to our rescue today.

My partner and I visited this restaurant on Saturday evening and could not have enjoyed our meal anymore! We were seated by the manager and he was very polite and helpful, he was hands on and helping other members of staff which is very good to see from a manager. Our server Amy was very friendly and efficient, we didn’t feel rushed but also didn’t have to wait for any length of time. Both of our meals were absolutely brilliant, my partner is a vegetarian and there was plenty of options for her. Fantastic meal and at a very reasonable price too, will definitely be back!

Ordered 3 Sunday lunches, very disappointed.3 meals were very small portions, potatoes were smash or dried. Amount was like a desert spoon size. Very little veg, again dessert spoon size. 2 roast potatoes, which tasted like frozen ones. 3 slices of roast beef, tasted ok, but a bit tough. Food cold on delivery, expected more for price we paid.

Excellent service from a very friendly team of staff.Menu is a bit disappointing, especially if you compare it to when it opened. Very quiet. My girlfriend had some kind of chilli cheese burger which she didn’t like at all, there was no cheese. I had a mixed grill which was really nice but no better than one I had in a Wetherspoons a couple of weeks ago.Kids loved the pizza’s so that’s all that matters I guess.Refillable soft drinks which we didn’t know about until the bill was received. Won’t rush back.

From the moment me and my family arrived, check in was an ease. The staff was very helpful especially the staff members Shannon and Laura. The staff made very clear that all customers use the hand sanitiser before entering the property and also all customers use the scanned check and trace. Seeing the high standard of the restaurant and the order of business, all staff members worked very well as a team to keep the restaurant very clean and tidy and to keep all customers safe by following the correct procedures by keeping everyone at a safe distance. This immediately made me feel very relaxed during my visit as all customers and staff followed the arrows on the floor to maintain safe distance from each other. The food was lovely and very fresh especially the pastries during my breakfast. The drinks were refreshing and I noticed when customers were finished and leaving the restaurant their tables were thoroughly cleaned by staff immediately to a very high standard ready for the next customers. I really enjoyed my visit and not surprised booking.com rate them 4 star if you ask me I would give the a 5 star.

Aw this is our 2nd visit and we love it. We take the dog and go to the dog friendly area which is perfect for us. The staff were absolutely great yesterday and it felt very safe to eat in and hand hygiene all over the place. Food was just great. I had gammon steak and hubby had fish n chips and it was really delicious. The staff are so so helpful and its a really friendly place as well. Weve found a favourite and the fact we can take our wee dog is an added bonus.

I visited this restaurant during eat out period and cannot praise management and staff enough. They have excelled in keeping customers/staff safe.Staff greeted us at door, went through ordering procedures,social distancing, sanitizers,trace and track and payment procedures.We had not booked a table and we were allowed to sit outside (with dog) as it was a beautiful sunny day.The staff were as always friendly and extremely efficient.This was the safest I have felt in a restaurant since easing of lockdown. Food was as always excellent.Will definetely be returning soon.

Went out for eat out to help out lunch, we had tried to book a couple of places and all were full, then remembered Ravenscliff and so glad we did. Well set up for socially distanced. Food was fantastic, cooked well, staff are very friendly and helpful, now that I’ve found here will 100% be back. Flake cheesecake with salted caramel sauce was amazing

We visited this restaurant as a family of 3 adults on a 'Dine Out to Help Out' evening on 26th August. We have visited several restaurants over the duration of this popular promotional offer, and have had very variable experiences. Without doubt this manager and team have gone the extra mile to ensure that their customers know how to follow the Covid protection guidelines, have organised the restaurant to maximise customer safety rather than just to maximise sales, and provide excellent service and quality food to match. A very professional performance all round, from the manager's personal meet & greet at the entrance to the fond farewell at our exit. Fantastic food, great service from the servers and obviously at a great price. We will certainly return after the current promotional offer expires! Well done team...

Me and my Daughter Decided to try the Ravincliff. Phoned to book a table and got Amy who was polite and sorted us a table for 2 at 19.30. On arrival the process was simple well organised due to the covid regulations.Amy showed us our table and looked after us excellent service from start to finish friendly staff and spotless. I would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed a socially distanced meal with friends after a few months apart. Friendly welcome from Gail who was very efficient and entertaining as she looked after us. Food and drink quality was great and we had a great evening. Lucky to have this as our local.

Decided to travel down last minute to visit family and always come to Ravens Cliff to stay. We were given a warm friendly welcome and was impressed with all the safety measures in place. Food was great and definitely recommend the pizza. Look forward to our next visit

Visited this afternoon with my brother for an early dinner.(15:30).Waited more than 15mins and still nobody came with a menu,even though the restaurant wasn't busy.Maximum of about 12 people and ample staff serving.Very disappointed. I have visited this restaurant on many occasions and have never had this problem before.Will definitely not be going again.

Husband recently retired so got free days for lunches now and someone told us try here as new place. Kind awkward to get to middle nowhere staff harrassed as few people to attend to on her own. Food was not up to standard menu was average a burger or a burger more or less. Presentation not good and did not finish our lunch affraid wont be back Just another brewers fayre

Food is what you would expect from this type of chain, i.e. average, not memorable. Service was slow and we ended up paying at the bar as the bill took too long to arrive.

I regularly visit here for breakfast. Best price in the area in my opinion which includes a cooked breakfast, unlimited continental plus tea & coffee. Always good quality. I've visited for lunch & dinner too. The staff are very friendly & hard working. Meals have always been good. Due to location would be better if you drive.

First vist not sure I will be back the table was not clean from the night before me and my daughter pick some croissants think thy had been left for yesterday breakfast & the scrambled egg was just horrible

Food was ok, quite slow at serving, waiting 45 minutes for our starter. I have to say the children’s but could be better monitored. There were children there under 5 who were unsupervised, their parents were at the other end of the restaurant. The children were screaming and running between the child’s area and the restaurant and bumped into my pregnant sisters chair a few times. One woman asked the children to please keep the noise down as they were upsetting her child and the parents of the child got abusive towards the woman and her party and the staff did nothing, saying that she should have moved with her child, why because they couldn’t control theirs!! An ok restaurant but won’t be back based on this experience
