Toby Carvery in North Lanarkshire

Food was fab, would certainly eat here again. Only problem is I left feeling like a stuffed piggy! I tried my best to beat the plate... but failed.

We ate at the carvery on Tuesday 20th May. Meat was fabulous although some of the veg was a bit dry due to the lights. Gravy fixed that. Donna our server was so pleasant and welcoming, she was very helpful and chatted easily to us. She couldn't have done more.

Brilliant roast also Donna was amazing, brilliant service!

We had Donna serving us tonight and she was lovely, so helpful and kind. Made us enjoy our night much more :)

Had posted about Chloe only to let u guys know shes adding people from Facebook dating and other apps to comment to progress her career in Tobys,little to say but I think someone more grown up in the staff would be appropriate as I don’t think you’ll appreciate someone who talks down against your own children and makes fun of men’s mental health ect but I hope the right person sees this and can have a word ss it’s bang out of order

Was out for a meal with my family . Our server chloe made us feel welcomed and done an amazing job .

Food was ok, no complaints really. But service was horrific (except the guy serving the food). Ask staff basic questions they don’t have a clue, there rude aswell, asked for cutlery got looked at like I was an alien. And then the toilet had no lock on it.

We arrived for Sunday Lunch and were met and hosted by the amazing Chloe. Professional, cheerful and very patient (with our children) Chloe was the model Hostess/ Waitress. Service was speedy, and always with a smile. The food was just what we wanted, fresh, hot and tasty. A great visit, we’ll be back!

Fantastic food for the price and super friendly staff. Caitlin, our waitress was very attentive, cheery and polite even though she was clearly busy the whole time. We felt well card for as customers and will be back. Special shout out to the guy on the carvery cutting the roasts as well as he was great.

We had a family Golden wedding celebration last night for 26 people in the carvery it was a great night ,everything was perfect the food was excellent as usual but the most impressive aspect was the contribution of the staff they went above and beyond to make sure our night went without a hitch they were so attentive and helpfull and even played some specialy requested music at the appropriate time to add to the relaxed and happy atmosphere of the occasion ,big thanks to the staff well done.

Can’t go wrong with a Toby Carvery! Such a lovely atmosphere and the staff are so welcoming. Donna is by far the best waitress I’ve ever dealt with. So friendly, chatty and up for a laugh! Give her a raise! Thank you so much for everything. All 4 of us rolled out the door happy!

This has.become a regular cafe stop on our morning cycle runs. Staff are extremely helpful and welcoming and food is great.

Went on Easter Monday, they ran out of meat several times with a 25-30min wait. I thought the whole point in a carvery is having meat ready to be served the whole time! Mashed potatoes were tasteless too, more like powdered mash. Won't be going back in a hurry.

Popped in for a carvery was ok clean place pleasant bar staff all in all I'd go back

Went for Sunday lunch the wait was terrible had to stand for 40mins before you got any food but it was delicious

So we had made a reservation in the restaurant, arrived 15 minutes early and had to leave. A queue back to the exit door on time. After a long wait we finally got a table. Unfortunately there was no fish and chips on the menu as stated on the internet. I couldn't eat anything else because of my allergies. When I asked for a mixed salad the answer was no, despite the menu. The staff was very rude and the carpet was probably getting old and smelled accordingly. We were directed to the bar because the food machines were waiting for the buffet. It's like a pigsty. Fie devil and keep your hands off it, other places are 1000 times better and friendlier. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮😜

Only popped in for a drink so can’t really offer a full judgement. Staff were very friendly. Drinks priced based on location to two hotels either side so a bit on the higher side. Place is a little jaded and needs a bit of a makeover, certainly in the toilets, but clean enough. Outside seating was ok but again a little tired and a sprucing up wouldn’t go a miss !!

service was attentive ,got table quickly .very long queue at carvery and the most bland,tasteless cold meal i have ever ate .the Yorkshire pudding filled the plate .very disappointed

Service at the carvery is very slow, they are to busy trying to keep up with just eat orders to deal with the customers who actually come to enjoy their carvery in restaurant.

4 of us attended Tobys tonight for dinner for my friends birthday, Ethan was our server who was very approachable, friendly and was quick to serve us. I had took a cake for my friend as a surprise which they were happy to take and bring it out at the end.

Here’s a direct and concise *1-star review* for *Toby Carvery in Strathclyde Park*: I came to Toby Carvery Strathclyde Park to collect a food bag and now I'm being chased for a *£170 parking fine*. I was there for just a few minutes and *no one warned me* about any parking restrictions — nothing from the staff, no clear signage, and nothing in the Too Good To Go app. Instead of enjoying what was meant to be a simple food pickup, I'm now stuck dealing with an unfair and expensive charge. Absolutely disgraceful treatment of paying customers. Won’t be coming back — and I’ll be warning others too.

The restaurant was absolutely packed when we arrived, and not just busy, but so busy they clearly shouldn’t have been accepting more tables. People with plates of food were struggling to get past the giant queue that had formed at the door. We were told we could go and get our food when we were ready and stood in the queue for about half an hour. We had two small children with us which was an absolute nightmare. Considering the cost of a carvery on a Sunday I would not return and would rather eat somewhere with table service, of which some places would actually be cheaper. To top it off the beef was fatty and the veg were soggy. Would not return.

Fab service by Michelle at toby carvery. Lovely lunch and was delish. Highly recommend. Friendly staff when arrived and seated straight away.

Here for a 50th birthday dinner and served by Michael , very helpful, got everything we asked for and nothing was too much hassle
