Toby Carvery in North Lanarkshire

This is a nice popular casual restaurant. My family experienced carvery.

The carvery was dynamite. We went extra large. Lots of vegetables to go with the meat and lots of meats to choose from. I have to give a special mention to our server, Caitlin M. Instantly attentive but in a way that was friendly but not overly. Is there anything worse than someone asking you if your food is ok four times when your mid chewing or conversation. Caitlin was friendly and explained how the carvery worked as ordering was different from the last time. Everything was delivered in good time and she appeared to be responding to other customers equally and managing to run her section really really well. She’s honestly one of the best servers we’ve had recently.

Waited over an hour to be fed at carvery not very organised to busy doing take away orders. As was dining with a toddler we had to visit carvery on 2 different occasions to allow everyone at table to be fed. My partner waited so long to receive his food that myself and toddler had finished eating so much for family dining. Area around table not very clean clearly a child diner before us as sausage and crumbs still on floor. I witnessed a waitress drop a child ice cream on the floor she sat the other which she was carrying on the floor to clean the mess and proceed to pick the remaining dessert plate from the floor and serve to the customer. DISGUSTING!!!!

Great food & Great service by Caitlin during a really busy period,

just returned from Strathclyde Park Carvery, where we were looked after by the team, but especially Caitlin. M. We had a couple of kids with us, and Caitlin was attentive and friendly with the kids. She was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Staff like that make visiting a pleasure and we will definitely be back thanks Caitlin M.

Great meal in here last night. Caitlin our waitress looked after us really well and food was hot fresh and plentiful. Carving staff are always chatty and friendly.

Well placed for routes from all directions. The portions here are huge and the staff always chatty.

Good food and great service! Caitlin M was our server, she was very helpful with ordering. Our drinks and desserts were served quick and we throughly enjoyed our night.

Not the best lunch I have ever had, at best it was just mediocre, I had the Ham , don't get me wrong you do get a good portion but it was tasteless, mash potatoes had a crust on them, carrots were OK just, peas had been laying too long, roast potatoes were over cooked and dry, and the gravy had a good thick skin on it so again that tells how long that had been on show, and Yorkshire pudding was very dry and crispy plus cold, so overall not the best experience in the world, and to crown it all off £3.70 for a small bottle of coke, so total bill two meals two drinks £27.50, I have got to say there are much better places around Hamilton were you get 3 courses (freshly cooked)for about the same money , plus a drink , so I can't say I will be rushing back , ( sorry Toby) .

Met up with family after a wedding in Scotland...food good, but coffee machine had a few issues, had to wait ages for filter coffee to be ready, then one pot was extremely weak...not great for the coffee drinkers out of our party of 10 😒

This is a comfortable place for a morning breakfast with staff that are welcoming and polite that seem to be able to judge your morning mood. A very warm and winter cosy environment that makes you feel at home. Toilets are always clean, and tables are always regularly reset to professional standards. The only area that lets this establishment down is that sometimes, when getting a plate, the underside of some of the plates is uncleaned fully. I personally blame whatever machine they are using as everything else the human staff do are on point. It just don't make sense that they are so good at what they do, yet only the underside of the plates are not up to staff standards. The staff are so eppic that I have even got some great advice one time when I was writing a short film script and asked their advice on Scottish culture, and they comically added to my script. Parking is a dodle here as there is always enough spaces with disability spaces with wide spaces between them located right near the front entrance. If camping within the area is your thing, check the oasis out. You won't be disappointed.

I went to Toby Carvery Strathclyde Park with my friends for lunch, and it was fab. Food was great and our server Pauline was so friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome and her service was 10/10. Definitely be back ASAP :)

We arrived for dinner at 5pm..the Calvery was space,little mashed potato,few roast potatoes which were dry and hard,only veg available was peas and carrots which were dry also. I would think at this time of evening there would be a substantial amount of variety veg. The only plus was our server Caitlin who was attending to another customer but still took the time to show us to a table ,she was attentive and friendly and made our visit more pleasant
