My son was where on Friday with his friends. Twice he approached the staff only to be ignored. He had order fries with his burger. In the end, he left without his full order and no refund. I expect my son to get the same treatment as others. Very disappointing.

Arrived here at around five, staff let us in a bit earlier than opening time. We were in before another couple with kids who had no reservation , according to the lady, and my son who is celebrating his 10th birthday today wanted a specific table which was still available. But one of the hostesses (a rather unfriendly one, a bit on the chunky side she was) would not give us that table it seemed just out of spite!! What a hateful way of treating a child on his birthday, won’t be back!

Bank Holiday Monday and it was manic but staff were professionall and pleasant I had the haddock and it was excellent all though I am not a fan of mushy peas I prefer peas intact. I found it a very overcrowded. If table had not been booked it would have been a long wait. Staff were finding it difficult to get food delivered to tables.

Ridiculous money! Lovely place and people but £4.50 for a bowl of chips and £14.95 for 6 wee goujons (without chips) that were clearly bought in bulk! Not worth it!

Wasn't allowed in as they were closed allegedly, plenty of people already in and allowed the 4 ladies after us in, this is the 3rd time in a couple of years we have tried and failed to get food here, really shocking service and pointing to a hand scribbled note on the table top saying closed and walking away is hardly good manners, 0/10

Came for dessert one day. Queue was out the door, already an indicator of good things to come. Got some of the finest desserts I think I’ve ever had.

Lovely meal got 3 specials of duck which was delicious no side were not told we had to order sides as no information on menu. Eventually had to purchase sides when our half of duck was near eat

Food usually good but they cram everyone in on top of each other. Queued for 50 mins to get in then spent 30 mins at the bar where only 2 staff who looked new were struggling to take orders so ended up giving up and leaving as there were still around 20 people all along the bar trying to order. Chaotic... Edit. Have changed rating as the wine bar seems to be like it's old self again. Busy but not chaotic and great food and service

Went to the horsebox for a hot chocolate. It was very pretty and the servers were nice but unfortunately a few of us found the hot chocolate far too bitter and couldn't finish it which for £4.50 a drink is disappointing.

Great place for a quick bite or for a more substantial meal. Plenty of choice on the menu at competitive prices. The only downside is that the tables are grouped so close together that even the waiters struggle to get the food to your table.

Was this the place there was a rat?

Party of 7 on Friday 5 jan 24, i had chicken bang bang was cold, this needs to be chargrilled and be crispy, 2 lumps of over moist super white chicken skewers, horrible, sauce poor, soo much mustard over powering, I don't get that nonsense of having to go to the bar, your missing out, we probably would have had another round but the bar was a bit busy so didn't bother, rest of the party were not overly delighted with their offerings either, never again

Dined at ramore wine bar, and to say my experience was shocking at the least I would give 0 stars if I could! Had a table booked for 7pm quickly got shown to our table (which was basically a dome outside) it was absolutely freezing, no waiter explained that we had to order food at the bar and bare in mind was absolutely chaotic, bar staff couldn’t hear what we wanted to order and charged us for a steak wellington that we politely had to send back and they returned with the steak they scraped off the wellington and threw on another plate which was clearly over cooked and dry! Asked for a new steak came back 20 minutes later when side orders were then freezing asked for steak to be medium and came out rare/blue? Ordered peppered chicken which came out bland with no flavour literally just ground pepper on it definitely won’t be back ever and the prices for the food quality is absolutely appalling, cheese fondue was stunning tho.

It was ok, chilly garlic prawn for starter was great, my main was rump steak which was overcooked a bit, ordered medium rear it was pink a bit 😫it was really busy with Christmas party dinners but not an excuse for not the best service, missed quite a few things from order on our table, waited for my cocktail for 40 minutes, finish the dinner when I got it

Had the Royal fish pie here, absolutely delicious, I won't need to eat for at least two days, though! The trio of desserts were fantastic, full of flavours, we will be back, thank you to all the staff

This has been our go-to place for the past 16 years from eating as a couple in the Harbour bar to frequently eating with our children in the Wine bar. It has changed unfortunately. Our last visit before today was at the end of August. The Wine bar has lost its atmosphere. There were fewer people eating. Tables are now set and staff have changed again. Staff were pleasant and very helpful and efficient. The quieter, less frantic conditions made it more relaxed and conversations were heard more easily.

Excellent food (as always) Worth a visit every time we go back home. Wonderful meal. A tad expensive, but the standard of food is 5star. See you again soon.

We had booked into one of the other Ramore restaurants for a special 80th birthday meal on a Monday night… understandably the bookings were shifted to the bistro which was buzzing… the staff were phenomenal and did so much to make our evening as special as it was, topped off by a table in the snug in front of a roaring fire! Thank you to the lovely Manager and team for your superb hospitality and beautiful food!

Loved the buzz in this busy restaurant. Easy parking. Really friendly and helpful staff. Quick delivery of food and drink. We had Haddock, chips and mushy peas, was excellent. Not too expensive. Would go back no problem.

Enjoyed lunch in the wine bar today. The manager Thomas leads by example. Excellent customer care by all staff. Definitely 5 stars.

Everything was fine except for literally stomach churning squeezy cheese on Nacho starter. Great points were that we hadn't booked but still got taken in and seated quickly. We had to order at the bar and pay in advance. This was actually ok and the guy at the bar got the order 100% right first time. The main courses were nice. However my daughter only wanted Nachos which were £7 or £8 and supposed to come with dips. The Nachos did indeed come with very nice dips and a lovely spicy, zingy garnish. However the entire plate was covered in a disgusting squeezy cheese sauce and mayonnaise. Why? How can a restaurant ruin nachos? I struggle to believe anyone could like the amount of cheesy sauce and mayonnaise applied. Having said that we would go back. If ordering the nachos I recommend asking for them without squeezy cheese and mayo. Or maybe have them in separate bowls like the tastier dips.

Went today for lunch for a birthday celebration pre booked a table in the window which we received. The place was packed out really busy sadly it was that loud you could not have a conversation as couldn't hear to talk. There was a party of 5 with 2 children on a table one of the men on the table was coughing, coughing and coughing constantly he couldn't drink, eat or speak it was that bad he should not of been allowed to enter the restaurant. The staff and everyone around could clearly see this man in his thirties had some sort of covid or something serious this was way past a chest infection, copd or asthma but not a soul asked him to leave or was he ok or anything he was just allowed and left coughing coughing constantly. This should of been addressed immediately by members of staff with the sweat pumping down his face, paleness on his face he had something seriously wrong. The staff are all young kids with no customer experience they have no expectations and never once asked if everything is ok? They are like something out of the living dead walking with glum faces dressed in black appropriately. God help the full restaurant we might all come down with illness or god forbid covid after today. Food was edible nothing special not worth the price had far nicer elsewhere. Overall expectations were more than crippled by staff allowing illnesses in that way into the restaurant and the strain of illness so clearly really bad. The food is better anywhere we couldn't wait to leave and left really disappointed we won't be returning. A really awful experience just hope all the dinners live after today.

It's quite a strange restaurant, part wine bar, part beach bar, part burger joint. The food was great though, tasty and wholesome and the service was fast and friendly. Recommended.

We had rump steak onions and potato wedges and it was superb. Best steak we've had for ages. Burger also delicious.

A group of us went for lunch. We had quite a long wait to get served. There was 15 of us. It was worth the wait. Food excellent. Price reasonable. Views specular of the harbour area. Venue busy but fairly quick turnaround.

Well done Coast. There were 10 of us. Taken to our seats by a friendly guy even though we were 15 min late. Orders taken, food and drinks delivered very quickly. Very tasty. Would recommend and will be back

The service was good and friendly but the food was so so at best. That's would be great if it wasn't as expensive as it was considering food. I wouldn't be back in any sort of rush.

Lovely,even with all the social distancing measures.Salmon was cooked just right and the half onion was a surprise.

Family meal out in relaxing surroundings. Food was excellent.

This was my first time here. And I'm not sure if it was because I was here over lunch but I wasn't overly impressed. My wife and daughter got their food 10-15 minutes before mine came out. The food was ok, it was tasty but also rather boring certainly not worth the money we paid.

Absolutely appalled by the service. We had a table booked for 7:30pm and ended up waiting outside the toilets for 25 minutes before being seated just to be told we had to wait at the bar to order food and drinks. For the price of their meals I expected table service. Thoroughly disappointed - ended up leaving shortly after being seated as we weren’t waiting another 20 minutes to order and at least that again for the food to come out.

Went for lunch on a Saturday, it was busy but didn't have long to wait. Food was really good and definitely worth the hype.

To be fair this is this ridiculously overpriced for not only food but service . Almost £20 for a pasta dish !! … central London isn’t this extortionate . This is literally taking the hand out of people !

Booked table online , excellent table service,no problems changing table once arrived,food arrived so quick and each dish / meal 10/10 , ice cream sundaes delicious, I would book again in coast bottom restaurant of ramore restaurants

Best place in Portrush for food

Poor service. We were a party of nine that was shown to our seats, given menus and abandoned. We werent told we had to got to bar to place food/drink order. Had been previously and it was QR codes during covid, why not keep these in place. Food arrived and no cutlery. Only after onserving others walk to the cutlery/condiment station did we realise we had to get our own. Three orders of chicken were dry and overcooked (one was drowned in cracked black pepper, which had to be scrappped off). Atmosphere non existant as party member had to get up to go to bar to order drinks. Also stated live music which there was none off.

They have transformed this venue into a high capacity, quick turnaround joint. Its obvious the owners have made every effort to maximise footfall, packing customers in. Food was just OK, with unsubtle pressure to eat up and move on so they can seat the next customers already queueing up both inside and out. Don't see what all the hype was about, a disappointment 😞.

This came highly recommended, because they are considered one of the best seafood restaurants in the area. I must say, the fish pie I had was fantastic. The thermidor sauce it came with made it extra tasty. Generous seafood chunks in the pie too. They were let down by the poor service. I waited 30 min until I finally asked after noticing tables after me were getting their fish pie. 2 min later mine turned up. The bartender also poured my Guinness in one pour, not letting it settle before pouring the rest. Would've rated higher if service was up to par with the price being charged.

Was here on 3rd of August 2023 for my mums 81st birthday, all my family and myself have been there quite a few times over the years and the food was amazing, unfortunately #no more ramour. Chicken pasta was watery and the sause tasted like fish, it was beyond disgusting, the chicken goujons where tiny like a childs portion and tuff as boots, had to pay for chips as well nearly 20 quid for 3 cheapass goujons and chips. The fish and chips was just ok, the fish pie wasnt great either. The staff were brilliant, all gathering to sing to my mum with her cake. All very helpfull, we got the dosh back for the pasta thanfully. But sadly we wont be back. The next day a met my friend and they had the same experience with the food the day before, pity we all travelled on the train such a distance to be so disappointed. Such a shame 🫠

The food is even tasty and it's easy to find something for a reasonable price inside a lot of space, there was no problem getting a table without booking. the only complaint is that after finishing eating our plates were taken away immediately, which seemed to me not very polite. But the staff was young so maybe they were just learning. 🇬🇧 j Jedzenie nawet smaczne i idzie coś znaleźć za przystępna cenę w środku dużo miejsca, nie bylo problemu ze zdobyciem stolika bez bookowania. Jedyny zarzut jest taki że odrazu po skończeniu jedzenia zabrano nam talerze natyhciast co wydawało mi się mało grzeczne. Ale personel był mlody więc może dopiero się uczyli. 🇵🇱

Beautiful place with a Fantastic atmosphere but the price of food is shocking, A Penne Pasta £18:95 like what... (Probably costs less than £3 to make) Rolled/Folded Pizza £17:95 Absolutely Crazy.

Very disappointing experience, no customer service, unclean cutlery and seriously overpriced food which was low standard. Would never recommend or go back.

The old menu in ramore was great along with the food seems to have changed a bit the food portions are small and very expensive wouldn’t advise the peppered chicken unless you fancy diarrhea 💩💨

Food was terrible, not as usual great flavours. This place has become hot or miss! I was wondering why it wasn’t so busy on a Saturday lunch! Now I realise! It will be a long time if ever before I try again!!

Great spot for food was lovely.

Was over on business, ordered what I thought was a beef wellington but what I got was a plate of 1980s Irish food! Over cooked steak, greasy onion rings and god knows what pastry and sauce pairing. Spent £100 for 1 person and I wish I’d gone to the chippy and the Spar. Nice buzz but the staff are from the walking dead! No idea what’s too jt on, all walk around dressed in black wearing a name badge my daughter would have written when she was two. If you come here go cheap, bad burger or some kind of Chinese chicken which I still can’t work out what it is! I wouldn’t say don’t come here what I’d say is take the menu that’s sub £20 anything else you will pay serious restaurant prices and get take away quality food.

We went there for our anniversary already booked a table although we were the first ppl arrived we still got a table literally next to the bar sadly wasn’t the experience I was looking for. Overall the food was delicious!

Even though we arrived just at last orders for lunch the staff were super helpful and didn't rush us. There are some lovely views over the marina and sea from the restaurant, again staff were super helpful in moving us once a table with a better view turned up. The food is really great, our meals and meal of others we saw being brought to tables all looked delicious. Highly recommended if you're looking for a nice place to eat after spending some time in Portrush.

Not a great choice on menu. Burger was ok. Person taking order couldn't understand english, they forgot to bring my son's meal, again, same staff member couldn't understand & another had to come over to sort out the problem. Staff weren't very welcoming. Wouldn't go back there.

The wine bar was like a cattle market, people were crammed in with barely any room to zig-zag to designated seating. It’s the perfect environment for a covid outbreak! We got seated out of the way but whilst trying to order food at the bar, a group had brazenly taken our table. One of our party left a coat at the table as we were shown to the table and tried returning to the table after ordering. This party had the audacity to remove our coat from the table and left it with a waitress. Instead of Ramore staff moving the brass individuals who claimed the table, we were moved! How is this possible? Surely when someone makes a reservation and is shown to their table, it shouldn’t be claimed by another party - if people are doing their job correctly? We told one of the waiters that we would like the table back, but the young man said that we can’t get the table back and instead we could be seated in the cattle market - which we declined due to health reasons and having poor immunity. The young waiter was a go-between, appallingly the manager / supervisor didn’t talk to us and the young waiter did the dirty work. Ramore’s treatment was shocking, it was abysmally handled and we won’t be back.

Smashing sea views while you dine . Staff very friendly and efficient . Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Consistently good food served in great atmosphere prices risen recently but only to be expected.

We didn't have a reservation but they said if we don't mind waiting for 1/2 an hour. You can sit at the bar until seating is available. You have to queue to order and pay for food. The quality of our food was excellent and there is plenty to chose from. They also have a lot of beautiful desserts to choose from. The views from the restaurant are lovely, overlooking the sea of Portrush.

First time there enjoyed the food and the atmosphere will be definitely back soon

Had dinner in the wine bar at what used to be an old favorite of ours. Usual stuff order, pay, wait for food, eat and go. It’s been a while since we were last there and I was disappointed in the small portion size of the chili chicken pita, and there was nothing with it, not even a lettuce leaf. My partner on the other hand was happy with what she had except the peanut sauce was rancid. We mentioned this to the waitress who said I’ll let the chef know. Might be a while before we return.

Menu isn't bad could do with less spicey and seasoned items cause not everyone likes them, but drinks are quite expensive, so stick to water. Staff don’t really pay attention, tried to get a member of staff's attention, and walked past 4 times before they actually stopped. Have to get your own cutlery and condiments, more a self-service than anything don't really need waiting staff in this restaurant

Terrible meal in wine bar. Chicken goujons mushy and cold. Chicken peppered sauce tasteless. Bar staff member advised Guinness zero machine not working too lazy to use it as 5 mins later a second bar staff member used it. Not happy Poor value.

Go upstairs there is a restaurant called wine Basalt is nice and has good view and food…However, the food was prepared before and they just heated up

Absolutely appalling. Ramour wine bar had advertised falsely....beat the clock all week. When we went to pay our bill we were informed it was not available weekend. When I pointed out that it clearly states for a week the server replied, yeah they made a mistake. I said that this was not acceptable but no compensation was offered. Service was awful. Staff appear very inexperienced. We witnessed, the table beside us being cleaned while the couple sitting there went up for desert. Then another couple asked to move tables. Unreal like a cattle market.

Probably the best for families in portrush - the desserts are particularly good!

Had lunch with the kids here, food was amazing, kids meals were really good portions, I had the salted chilli chicken dirty fries, stunning and we got the trio of deserts - spoilt for choice and beautiful Great value aswell and staff lovely and friendly Stunning view of harbour aswell

So disappointing. We have been visiting this restaurant for years. I had the salt and chilli prawns which were nothing like the usual quality. This was bank holiday Monday 8/5. The prawns were soggy, tasteless and expensive. I became unwell in the afternoon and vomited during the night. I informed the restaurant by email but did not receive a response. Terrible customer care and a very expensive way to be ill

Same as it's always been for decades. Can't beat the Ramore.

Not busy on our visit but still not the quickest of service. Female staff all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the male staff (all quite young) looked a bit lost.

Wouldn't recommend coming here. Busy for the Bank Holiday weekend which is fine but after waiting 35 minutes for a table we then had to wait almost an hour from ordering our burgers and chips. Burgers and chips should not take that long. Food is just fine, nothing special and certainly not worth the lengthy wait. Chaotic environment with a bar based ordering system which makes it even more so.

Amazing food, great atmosphere, service and facilities, family friendly.

We had a great meal at Neptune and Prawn last Monday. We had asked for a window table. Unfortunately, we didn't get one. A couple who hadn't booked came in after us and were seated at the table we asked for. This was the only downside of our visit,

Great venue and a lovely atmosphere. Staff are friendly, and attentive. As 4 adults and 3 children we had a variety of dishes, and I can highly recommend the house chilli chicken wings, and the 3 spice pepperoni pizza was exceptional - if you opt for the pulled pork rolled pizza make sure you bring a good appetite - it’s packed full to the brim and very filling! Food arrived in a timely manner, well presented, hot and tasty - highly recommend a visit if you’re in Portrush!

My side was incorrect and the chef came out to stare at me three times after I sent it back lol , a bit intimidating..

We didn't overly enjoy our experience here. Wasn't explained to us that all ordering was to be done at the bar, plus get your own cutlery and condiments. Our starters arrived and we had nothing to eat them with. It was only after this we were told we had to get them ourselves. When we arrived a simple, Have you dined with us before would have sorted all of this out. I found my chicken to be overcooked and very dry around the edges. Very disappointing as I thought this was the place to eat in Portrush. Sadly, we won't be in a hurry back.

Always a good stop off location, it can be a nightmare on public holidays to get a table, but if you are willing to wait, then no problems. The food is always nice, but the wine bar burger seems to be less meat and more other stuff, which is disappointing from what it used to be years ago. But food really nice. There ate a number of bars on various floor of the restaurant all with the same sort of vibe. Would definitely recommend

Worst meal I have ever eaten out. Sirloin steak medium rare had a two inch circle of gristle /bone in the middle of it. When I complained offered us free desert, not good enough. Had paid for two sirloins both were terrible. Do not order steaks, go to a good hotel if you want an edible steak is my advice.
