Jumped up little cow answering the phone...would be quicker to go to Turkey and buy a kebab than it is to try and perform the simple task of placing an order here

Have been going here for years, both takeaway and collection, always very good, NOT TONIGHT, had a delivery that cost 21 quid, felt absolutely robbed, have paid this before and been happy, not tonight, burger a disgrace, no salad etc, would have got better from Mcdonalds (PLEASE SEE PHOTO) fries and onions rings like warm and soggy....won't be going back Rambo, who are you employing.........a real shame, and a let down......

You've lost a good customer.. we were loyal as anything! Always complement your food, on its being hot yummy and we didn't kebab cheat and get from somewhere else because we felt like it but serve me ice cold food twice in a row evan the delivery driver confirmed with us and yourself it was icy cold twice when we spoke to us on the phone you were completely rude.. why should we pay you for freezing kebabs.. won't be long and they'll go under.. ile take my custom elsewhere 1 star because your delivery driver was very brave.

Have always had good takeaways and good delivery from Rambo's

05/01/2024 Scampi and chips & cheesy chips were cold. Rang up and complained said they would send out fresh food. Never recieved anything and won't order from there again! Avoid this place.

First time eating here this evening. Quick service and lovely food. Salad is lovely and fresh!

Update 1 After years of using Rambo's I've had to amend my review down. All the resent prices hikes have left this place with prices more like a fine dinning restaurant in central London. If I'm paying top prices I expect top quality food and service. The guy who took the order on the phone seemed completely indifferent, they never repeat the order back to you like some places do, which to me seems to be good practice to avoid mistakes. The food arrived on time, but with a missing item and the wrong meat in the Kebab, chips and burger buns all soggy, no free pepsi on a nearly £60 order. Update 2 Don't go here they don't care about or respect your custom. The guy I spoke to on the phone was once again useless. out of 6 items ordered 3 where completely wrong. I ordered 2 donner meat portions and got 2 donna kebabs, I ordered a chicken shish and got lamb. All the food was once again cold/soggy on delivery and totally over priced. Carfully look at the 5* reviews, there all from years ago when this place was top notch AVOID

Found the Kebab meat very greasy. Nice guys that run it though. A little expensive for what you get.

No issues with food or delivery time. That being said delivery driver very arrogant says I'll keep the change and left. Whilst only a small amount (50p) and completely is not the issue, likely shall not order again. I dont think I have ever had such a rude encounter. You over pay for the food to compensate for them to pay the driver etc. To put it bluntly kinda was petty theft. Absolutely baffled with that interaction.

Do not bother with these clowns. Was a return customer for years until tonight when they missed off part of our order on a delivery. This was our 10 year old daughter's meal. Drove down there to complain as we were not accepting it without our daughter's food. The woman taking telephone orders does not listen or cannot understand and writes orders down wrong. The driver was rude and would do nothing about the missing order. The so called guy in charge disappeared in next room after ignoring us for 20 minutes. They took well over an hour to bring it before finding out they got the order wrong. The woman took over when we went down there and called both my wife and daughter liars by saying we had not ordered it. At this point I told them we were now going to Kebabland instead which is only around the corner and we are NEVER coming back. Our daughter phoned order through while my wife was stood next to her. Seems like this woman missed her order off on purpose thinking she would go without. They are arrogant, rude, and do not know the first thing about customer relations. Once they have your money they don't care. Well because it was a delivery we did not pay as we would not accept the order without our daughter's food which WAS ordered by her. Not only have you lost returned custom but we will repeat this experience to everyone we know.

If we could give minus stars we would. Used Rambos for years until tonight. Telephone ordered 2 chicken burger meals and a plain cheese burger. Waited over an hour for delivery and the cheese burger was missing. Driver phoned them to then tell us we did not order it and did nothing to put it right. Just stood there pleading ignorance saying not his problem. Told him not accepting it as order incomplete. We then drove down there to complain as it was our 10 year old's meal missing and she phoned it through with my wife stood next to her. The guy in charge made us wait another 20 minutes before he asked my wife what this was about. Told him our address and he disappeared in to the next room. While there the lady who took the order came over and told us we did not order it and called my daughter and my wife both liars. Some customer service they have where the customer is always wrong. Did nothing again to put right and kept calling us liars. I then told them in front of their next customer that we are now going to their competitor and never coming back. Seems there really appreciate their return customers. While we were waiting they were arguing as seemed to be mixing the orders up for waiting customers. Would not be surprised if they were all wrong. They need to realise having a disgruntled customer in your shop complaining and doing nothing to help is not good for business. Not only have they lost a return customer but we will repeat this experience to everyone else we know as well as review sites. They are not the only takeaway in Whittlesey and even if they were we would drive to Chatteris, March, or Peterborough rather than order from them again.

Ordered for the home and when arrived food was cold and gave everyone food poisoning all 4 of us feeing ill throwing up and more… do not come here! Worst £40 ever spent

Excellent service, varied and tasty food

Bought 2 large doner kebabs. Total waste of money it was dry and the portion size for a large was not even a small. For £7.50 a doner total rip off. Will never go again and will never recommend.

I've used this takeaway for over 5 years and it has always been okay however, today I was so disappointed with the meal. I ordered a medium chicken shish kebab with a small portion of chips. I also asked for salad and 2 sauces, mayonnaise and chilli. I received an appropriate amount of chicken, hardly any salad and neither of the sauces. So disappointed as they used to be a lot better.

First time ordering in this aria i was a bit nervous but wow definitely was by far the best kebab I've ever had! And the delivery staff were a pleasure to deal with too *****

Had a 13.50 combo kebab with X 2 pitta, salad, chips and lamb kebab,shish and chicken kebab. Chips salad n pitta all fine. Kebab meat quality again fine but portion size very small on the meat for the price.

Placed an order for a mixed Kebab with a 50 min to an hour wait.... Cancelled the order after an hour and ten minutes after being told that it was just being made ready to be delivered. Absolutely shocking as the address is. 6 minutes away.

After being told delivery would be 30-45 minutes, our 1st delivery took over 2 hours. We ended up turning it away. We tried them a 2nd time and were again told 30-45 minutes. After an hour, I gave up and told them I wasn't paying because this was the 2nd time. Delivery driver turned up requesting payment. We had to turn it away. Ok food and f you don't care how long you wait, or just order a couple of hours before you actually want to eat!!! Avoid if you can, there is other choice in whittlesey!!!

First time I used it. Very good service and food was very tasty and hot. All over excellent service

£5 later and after a 15 minute wait (I was the only one in there, which says it all really) this is what I came out with. Not only was the portion not even fit for a 5 year old child. It was the toughest and chewiest meat I've ever had, after deciding that it was pointless to even try and consume I washed it off and gave it to the dog. Most expensive dog meal ever.

Most ridiculous 5 pound I've ever spend. And the tiny amount of meat was hard and chewy.

So where to start, a friend suggested getting kebabs from Rambos so we did. When they came back with the food it was disappointing. We ordered 3 cheesy chips with mayonnaise and they only put cheese and mayonnaise on one portion. Kebab came without chilli and jalapeños. Two meals didn’t even turn up, burger was dry, ketchup on chips instead of kebab. Very easy order, was harder to mess up! Unfortunately, have to try somewhere else.

chicken burger are fantastic no other like it proper bits of chicken not cheap frozen ones. chilli sauce is homemade and beautiful.good portion sizes

just brought a small and large lamb shish was good but for what it cost was overrated because the large looked like a small and small looked like a kids portion and did not feel like u had eaten so have to go and get pizza for main meal as the kebabs looked like a starter

I was in Whittlesey again at the weekend and we order Rambos kebab again and we are never disappointed always very tasty and always arrives hot

Been to Rambo's twice in the last two weeks. Outstanding service and a kebab to die for. Defiantly going to be returning to this little gem :)

When it was RAMBO'S it was great and always got my kebabs from there. I has recently been taken over and the food and service is terrible to say the least

We very rarely have a take away, but when we do always Rambos. It's cheap and food is always tasty, loads of it and service with a smile. Potato wedges are the best

He tenido un par de comida para llevar de Rambo es ahora y la comida ha sido excelente en las dos ocasiones. Siendo insisto bastante sobre la salsa chili me agradó encontrar que hacer suyos en vez de utilizar estas cosas enfermizo dulce que viene en las botellas caterering más grandes. Doners koftes y ambos son excelentes y las patatas fritas son geniales. Cogí un menú la última vez que estuve, que se usan para las entregas en el futuro.

Rambos is always our first choice for kebabs in Whittlesey. Staff are always polite and smiling. Good portion sizes. Great chilli sauce! Can get busy and this sometimes slows down the service but always worth the wait.

Rambos is by far the best kebab house I have ever been in (in England). Great service and tasty food too. The prices are fair for the portions and they also deliver. The chicken donner kebab is my favoriteRambos is always cleaning and keeping his takeaway safe and hygienic

Have been eating Rambos food for about 8 years now and it's still the best in the area! The chicken strip wraps are the best, huge portions so really good value. The best takeaway in Whittlesey and such friendly, hardworking staff!
