Diana Tandoori in Fenland

Hadn't been to the Diana for a few years. Thought we would give it another go. Had a takeaway tonight. Had chicken tikka masala and butter chicken . The chicken in both meals were uneatable. Won't be going again.

I moved to March in August, I've tried several Indians in March and this is by the worst out of the 3 I've tried. The curry's were way too salty. The oil sitting on top of one of the currys is the worst I've ever seen from a takeaway. The mango chutney and mint sauce have been watered down considerably and this is obvious when tasting. The portion of chicken in the chicken tikka masala was small. We will not be going back. They are evidently trying to cut corners to save money, the other reviews on Trustpilot as 100% correct on how poor this place is.

The food from this place was terrible sauces was like water and very salty probably the worst takeaway I we have ever had food was Luke warm won’t be ordering again very disappointed

Diana used to be an excellent Indian restaurant with superb food but sadly it started it's declined some years ago. The food is, at best average to poor. Just tried it again to see if they had got back up to their old standards. They have not

Ordered food from here today it turned up cold rang up to complain and manager told me he would speak to the deliver person, I asked him if he would be happy to pay for cold food and he got annoyed at me, refused to send another replacement hot meal just said he would add something on next time I ordered, I will not be ordering anything from here again, poor arrogant service !

Taste was terrible, won't order again

The stir fry the taste was okay however the chicken was very dry. The spicy chicken wings starter was good but only 3 pieces but you pay £3.50 not happy

Very disappointed. Poor attempt. First time ordering here. Chips was undercooked and greasy. Ordered onion salad, instead I received tomato, cucumber, lettuce and lemon, I presumed onion salad was onion, cucumber and coriander?. Lamb was to chewy and way to spicy for a Jalfrezi with to many onions and undercooked tomatoes. Will not be ordering here again, worst Indian takeaway I’ve ever had.

Exciting Indian food delivered hot to your table by a great service. 5 stars. Their Peshwari naan is legend. As is their chicken jeera which you’ll find hard to get anywhere else?

Food was quite cold when it arrived, quite disappointing. However, it tasted so amazing. Delivery was very quick!

While the food was ok, i was disappointed not to get a side salad like you would normally with an indian takeaway. Delivery took the best part of 2hrs which in all fairness is too long! Fair play to Diana Tandoori tho, they did apologise.

What can I say, had a really lovely meal with friends, the food was hot and tasty, a good amount of food brought to us in good time, nice atmosphere, pleasant staff and reasonably priced, well worth a visit.

Really great quality food, we had dinner A and it was a very good price and was very tasty. We have not ordered from here before hence why we had a set meal, but the food was great and it arrived early too. We will for sure order from here again!

Food wasn't very warm. Both naans undercooked. Delivery was around 1 hour 30 minutes.

March has a proper hidden diamond! We’ve had takeaway from the Diana before but decided to go in tonight for dinner. Lovely, cosy restaurant, with excellent food as usual. Sam and his team are so welcoming, a real pleasure to eat there.

Food was nice, restaurant clean and a lovely, real fire burning in the grate of the old building. Staff polite, although not very attentive, despite there being only a table with a party of 8 and us 2 in the restaurant. One member of serving staff in a tracksuit and trainers spoilt the ambience somewhat. Prices reasonable though, and parking very easy right outside. Ordered a shandy, and pretty sure it was mixed with tonic water instead of lemonade, and lime juice instead of lime cordial, making it extremely bitter.

We waited an hour and a half for our food, and when it arrived the order was wrong. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time this has happened. Previously we have phoned up to complain, and have had to wait a further 40 minutes for the correct order. We’d already waited so long this time we didn’t bother phoning up and ate what we were given, we just won’t use Diana again sadly.

Ordered take way for collection, got home and everything was tasteless,the worst indian food i have ever tasted, perhaps with the name Diana it probably says it all, a wannabe indian takeaway !! TOTAL CRAP !! THREW IT AWAY 11

Ordered my food at 18:10, got delivered at 20:25. App said it will be delivered at 19:20! Papadam was like a tortilla, I could roll it up. Mango chutney was as runny as anything. Will not be ordering again.

Excellent atmosphere . Prices are reasonable. Staff were very attentive and helpful.

Have ordered from here before and the food was decent but tonight it was shockingly poor- the potato in the saag aloo was hard, the naan had coconut in it even though I ordered plain and the tarka daal was 90% salt- will not be ordering from here again- there just isn’t a decent curry place in this town.

Food was ok chicken dry. Original states about 50 minutes for delivery but was about 1.5 hours.

Went in for a sit down meal this evening. Lovely atmosphere the music was on but subtle. The food was the same price as the takeaway menu which was a nice surprise as most places always charge more. The food was amazing right down to the taste and the flavours. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. We have 2 courses and 2 drinks each and was only £55 for the 2 of us. Will definitely be going back. Thank you to all the staff.

Rude and unreliable! Ordered from just eat… where I could pick a time for delivery. Chose 615 as I ordered at 5pm when they opened. Phoned them to discuss that it was now going to be cold as it was needed for the time of set to be asked what did I want them to do about it? Good wasn’t exactly got when it arrived anyway! So was stone cold in the half an hour wait for everyone to get here at 615! AVOID!!! AVOID!! AVOID!

I felt so happy after eating this food beacuse as a Indian compare to the other restaurants this one is good with perfect spices and it's not that much spicy i know a lot people don't recommend to eat spice but the food was good and I really liked it. Placed order at 17:00 had a text to say on its way at 18:20 and didn’t arrive until 19:50. We tried to cancel the order at 19:02. When it arrived food was cold and stale and full of oil. I would like a full refund.

Absolutely the best Indian food we've ever tasted in March. Everything we ordered was delicious. Especially the prawn puree which, unlike all the other Indian takeaways, didn't have chillies in it at all. Just as it should be

Food was cold even though it was in foil trays. Once reheated was extremely tasty. Everyone deserves a second chance. Would have been happy to wait the 20 mins for a hot delivery.

Food quality was horrendous, just tubs of barely warm sauce with minimal substance (meat/vegetables)

Food was that bad my dog didn’t even eat it was cold and have waited over 2 hours for this and won’t even give use a refund disgusting !

What would of been good was unfortunately ruined by being sent 1/4 of a poppadum. Spoke to restaurant they agreed to a refund but this never materialised

Ordered food at 18:30, estimated delivery time 19:45-20:05. Called restaurant at 20:05 spoke to a lady who then passed me onto someone else, they didn’t give me a chance to talk just said driver will be there in 10-15mins. I waited 20-25 mins & still nothing so called restaurant back & was told they will call me back. Food finally arrived but I was not happy with the amount of time I had to wait. I have ordered from here before & not had a problem. On the just eat app it said my food was delivered at 19:50 but it clearly wasn’t as I had to make 2 phone calls to the restaurant to find out when my food was arriving.

Was a lot later than stated on just eat so that needs looking at we wouldn’t have ordered? And the naan bread was cold other than that a very nice meal thank you

Great food - never disappointed going there. I selected for the food to be delivered at around 7:30 but when it was confirmed it was changed to 8pm. I then couldn’t change it to collection. Not sure if this is down to just eat or the restaurant. Then it was 10 minutes late.

We had booked a table but were asked to wait in the 'foyer' despite the fact that the restaurant was nearly empty! One chap seemed to be doing everything,and was not very welcoming. The lighting is poor and makes the place look dingy. There is no decoration of any sort - no pictures, curtains or ornaments, which looks soulless. The food was OK, but not good enough to persuade us to go back to a restaurant we used regularly some years ago, particularly as there are other much better Indian restaurants in town.

Tiny portions all the main curries ordered had 3 small pieces of chicken . Cartons not even half full rice and bread cold . Bombay potato 2 and a half pieces. Always use Diana but won’t again.

I’ve had some horrible tasting takeaways before but this is up there, couldn’t even eat it, dripping in grease, delivery took 3 hours, when on just eat says 35-40 minutes and was called to say the delivery man’s not in, worst £20 I’ve ever spent on food and won’t be using again, very dissappointed.

Was disappointed by the lack of curry in the metal container. It was just under half full and covered about a third of the plate when emptied. My son had to make himself toast afterwards which says it all really.

My brother loves this place and I must admit I can see why. There food is amazing, i enjoyed every mouthful. Takeaway portion size is spot on and you have a good choice on the menu. Would highly recommend. Best Indian food I have had in ages.

They did forget my rice, but very quickly answered the phone and offered me a refund. Even without the rice I can’t fault them, it was wonderful food and would order again.

i accidentally ordered twice and was really upset about it. called the restaurant and they were brilliant! assured me that i would get my refund which i got within 20 minutes. they were super helpful and so so polite. 100% recommend

Must have a new chef as our normal meal was well below the past excellent standard Mushroom bharjee had a weaker red sauce and the madras was weak I normally have to drink milk to lower the curry sauce heat but the latest meal had no heat at all instead of a madras intense sauce this one hardly caused any heat Will use some of the other curry restaurants in town in the future Also huge price rise and cancelling the 10% reduction if the meal was collected Poor quality and well below their previous service and quality

Took ages to come. Food meh not worth wait

45 minutes late, curries were warm at most, chips were stone cold. Curries might have been warmer if they had been filled more than half way up the foil tray. I received a notification telling me my food had left the restaurant 50 minutes before my food arrived, I asked the driver if this was true and he said it was not, but they were really busy and he did apologize on their behalf. However it takes a long time for a sealed curry to go cold, especially when he took it out of a temperature maintaining box... Butter chicken & tandoori tikka chicken were tasty once they arrived & I had reheated them (I ordered because I didn't want to cook & ended up cooking anyway) 😅 Won't order from here again.

paid for 2 popadoms and they did not come. would like a refund

We have ordered the same dish every weekend for several years. For some reason the last two weeks have been disappointing. Its a completely different dish although called the same. Im sorry to say we will not be ordering again.

Food arrived 30 minutes late and was cold when it got here. When we rang the restaurant after it being 15 minutes late we were told that it was on the way but the driver was going to Dodington and chatteris on the way to us (in manea) and this is why it was running late

If you want to wait an hour for your main meal and be ignored as a seated customer then visit the Diana. The phone for take aways didn't stop ringing and all food going out was take away. We received our popadoms at 6.30 with no salad The 2 star is for the pleasant young lady serving our table, food was OK.
