Food was good however a clearly off the clock worker came into the restaurant barged past multiple paying tables slammed a chair and then proceeded to talk about splitting up with her boyfriend Infront of the whole restaurant. Completely inappropriate and ruined the atmosphere. Get it was an upsetting time for her but maybe next time take it out back....

Group of 7 of us all had delicious pizzas. Flavours to die for. Small friendly restaurant in Margate Old Town. Highly recommended.

The informal atmosphere is relaxed with a mix of second hand furniture and some nice potted plants. What they have not invested in an expensive decor is certainly compensated by the quality of the sourdough pizzas. The menu is completely different to any of the chain restaurants and much better for it. We turned up about 17:45 as a party of four, we were seated immediately and water was brought to the table with the menus. Service was quick and the staff friendly and helpful. I had a very nice smooth IPA with my pizza followed by a tasty vegan cheesecake.

Friendly, trendy and informal, Ralphs is small but punches above it’s weight for quality. Using carefully sourced ingredients they make banging fresh pizza, with fantastic organic wines. And the playlist is very funky!

Popped in & were sat down quickly and brought our drinks fast - a negroni & G&T which were v reasonable and tasty. Our pizzas were delicious and so great to have so many veggie options! Lovely service from the whole team. A delightful Fri night pizza meal.

Popped in with no reservation at lunchtime today. Staff quickly seated us, brought us water straight away to the table. The person who took our order was great, happy to explain and answer any questions. Whilst we waited for our food, we enjoyed people watching both inside the restaurant and in the market place beyond the windows as we listened to a great soundtrack set at just the right level to enjoy without overpowering conversation. Flat white coffee was one of the best I've enjoyed in Margate but the real star was the pizza. Salted dough, every ingredient packed with flavour and then dipping the crust in the homemade chilli oil was amazing. For all of this you would expect to get a shock when you get the bill but this really is a wallet friendly place and one we will return to again and again. Top job Ralphs

We paid a visit to Margate today and happened upon Ralph's in the Market Place. The restaurant itself is quite small and the first thing that strikes you is how friendly the staff are. I ordered a bowl of Padrón peppers and have to admit they were the best I've ever eaten. The menu of sourdough pizzas are quite different to what you would normally find and all were exceptional. If you happen to be in Margate and looking for a bite to eat I would strongly recommend you head to Ralph's in the old town.

The food itself was good but the prices of wine were shockingly expensive. £21 for 500ml of house wine. The wine was not that great either!! Front of house were inattentive and tables were sticky to touch. Would look elsewhere for better service and value for money.

Really nice little place with a lovely chilled & friendly atmosphere. Great sourdough pizza with a small but good selection of drinks, including several local brews. Decent prices & friendly staff - noticed there are a lot of vegetarian & vegan options on the menu too. I had the fontina & artichoke pizza which was delicious & a side of well done padron peppers, Highly recommended 🙌

Wandering round in early evening trying to get a table , this place caught our eye . Got a nice table in the sunshine on the quiet square outside Ralph’s . Lovely serving staff ( all of them !) made the meal all the more enjoyable and we had our customary post meal chat with our last waitress which was nice too . There is just pizza on offer ( with a few nibbles available) with minimal add-ons but the sourdough base was perfect with delicious toppings too . We chose a sweet with coffee to follow as the evening was so pleasant. A most enjoyable meal , thanks. Recommended

Our first visit and we were excited by the menu - all sounded delicious. The staff were lovely and the place is nice. However, all three of our pizzas were burnt, and they were also very doughy - perhaps some people are into that but the wide crust didn’t leave much space for toppings. The toppings themselves were all very wet and so the cheese (which was lumpy and not melted) all just fell off. Other reviewers like this place so maybe we just got unlucky but definitely not one for us.

Very friendly staff and the pizza is fantastic! Particularly good for vegetarians as the whole menu is veggie friendly.

Perfect food, perfect wine, perfect staff. Not much more to say. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The food enticed us in from the street and lives up to the expectation. The wine is top class too. A must visit.

Lovely bright café/restaurant tucked away only two mins from the sea. I loved my mid-afternoon salted caramel tart and coffee. Friendly staff who were happy to give diners recommendations for the area.
