Mayflower Chinese Takeaway in Thanet

The food is always good however yesterday we ordered sweat s sour chicken balls and one of the balls were prawn I don't eat fish because I have an allergic reaction to fish and my partner found it before me I won't be ordering the balls from you again because this is a big issue that could of hospitalised me.

Ordered beef and mushroom dumplings and a special chow mein all was superb thoroughly recommend

Moved from London last year and was a bit apprehensive about eating a Chinese so gave mayflower a go, well wasn’t disappointed food was hot, special fried rice was nice, Singapore noodles excellent, pork curry lovely, only down side portions are smaller then we are used to, would eat here again 100% thank you.

We've ordered here over many years and tonight spent £72 on a family order and when we got stuck in found that Sweet a d Sour was no way taste what described and more like vinegar with mother-in-law not able to eat her dinner and had to share everyone else's. The Chop Chicken had not alot in container and full of waterchenut... We rang to advise then of our situation to be told it taste different in other locations, but I have lived in UK all my life and do know how Sweet and Sour taste like before thanks.... Not happy with the outcome and will never spend this amount of money in this restaurant again and lost a customer now...

Prices are cheap, big portions and do the best pork balls in batter, recommend the special curry and rice.

First time ever of using Mayflower Chinese in Ramsgate , very satisfied with the food and the delivery service .. will be using them again .

How this Chinese is not 5 stars I will never know. It's superb. I've never had reason to complain, only that they are so busy sometimes... The food is second to none. Perfect.... Keep it up mayflower

This is the best Take Away in Thanet. Very tasty. Our favourite is the Special curry and the Duck in ginger and spring onion. Everything is freshly cooked. Highly recommended

Just visited this Chinese takeaway (28.09.19) for the very first time. The lady behind the counter was most friendly and welcoming and she showed great patience as me and my partner discussed our choices of food. On returning home, the food was some of the most delicious Chinese food we have ever tasted. I can highly recommend this Chinese takeaway to anyone wishing to try Chinese cuisine.

Haven't been here in a while and couldn't be bothered to cook. We always have the set meal a with an additional prawn satay which is my favourite. And for £11.70 for all of this, it's great value

We havent been here for quite a while. Its still the best chinese and best value for money. We had the set meal A with curry sauce, chips and an additional king prawn satay which is nice and spicey.

Popped in and ordered a special chow mein to give this place a try , big big mistake ! The container was very small and was filled with parts of an animal that I had not seen before , I wondered why this place is always empty now I know , I couldn't eat ANY of the food so I offered some to my dog because she eats anything and everything , she turned her nose up and backed off as though I was trying to poison her , very very worrying indeed !

We had a nice takeaway from here and the gentleman was very helpful allowing us to 'swap' items on their 'set menu'. The food was delicious and the prices were exceptional for the amount of food we had.

Took nearly 2 hours to arrive was cold,and very bad quality.soggy chicken balls Singapore vermicelli was just a few chillies and nothin else.no flavour would never eat from there again couldn't even eat it was so bad
