Best Chinese in Ramsgate. Would highly recommend and we never go elsewhere

Absolutely disgusting the chicken balls the chillie beef tasted of dirty frying oil .the chicken meal was so much onion an absolute rip off and they have a cheek to charge delivery ours went in the bin we will never use this place again . If your hungry make yourself a cheese sandwich at least it's edible

Always looking for good Chinese which seems in short supply in Ramsgate. We’ve just discovered Tycoon and have been really pleasantly surprised. The food is very tasty, non greasy and piping hot. It always seems fresh tasting. Definitely our new go to.

We hadn't been here since it was the Lucky Red House (more than ten years ago, I was told!), but we're glad we did today. Lovely fresh tasty food and friendly staff. Many thanks! Edited 20/05/23: Another wonderful meal today from Alice and the staff at Tycoon. Lovely food delivered amazingly quickly. We won't use anyone else.

After seeing 4.7 reviews I was hopeful of finding a new favourite, however, although edible nothing seemed to tasted of much, smoked chicken was bland, crispy beef just tasted of oil, chilli chips were soggy and tasted of just onion. Luckily there was just 2 of us, the dishes were also packed out with so much onion I have never seen anything like it before! Delivery was good and that's why I am giving 2 stars. Don't be fooled by the high reviews, maybe a lot of them are from a long time ago, good place to order from if you need some onions in an emergency 🤷

Every time we order a Chinese , it’s always from Tycoon! Their food is always spot on and always comes hot in the reusable containers. We stick to the same order each time, but it is still great food as always!

Haven't been here for many years however returned as the selection on JustEat is awful... Great food and generous portions at a good price. Couldnt really fault it. Our new favourite Chinese takeaway!

My most favourite chinese in Thanet. Since moving i will even travel here for my chinese. Never greasy and always tastes fantastic. Staff are amazing too very friendly.

Possibly the best Chinese in Ramsgate. The food is always fresh, they accommodate their customers and their needs and the food tastes amazing every time.

Relatively inexpensive compared to other Chinese Takeaways. Smaller portions added out with lots of onions. Tasty food.

Have been going there for years, great food, great atmosphere & great service

Avoid at all costs!! Our first meal from these guys and its our last for sure! Ordered and it was delivered nice and quick however that's the only positive. We ordered x2 chicken and sweetcorn soups, 2 pancake rolls, special chop suey and shredded chilli chicken. Firstly the chicken and sweetcorn soups didn't come instead was some sort of chicken and mushroom watery gravey type thing, the pancakes were lovely and crispy outside but was tasteless on the inside and there was next to no meat whatsoever just beansprouts, the special chop suey was OK but certainly not special, But... the shredded chilli chicken no 15 in a sticky sauce was nice and a bit of a saving grace. I tried calling to correct the order and state my concerns but couldn't get through and when I did I got disconnected almost immediately.

Since recently moving to Ramsgate we have tried nearly all of the Chinese's places in town, we had lost hope of finding a nice one, but we have. This is by far the best one in town, they actually know how to cook a curry sauce, basic I know but the others in town have been awful. The rest of the food delivered was on time, steaming hot and was delicious and I highly recommend this place. Note to all cash only on delivery.

The telephone used to be answered by a lovely lady who always said 'hello darling' but I was greeted with a 'yes'? Like I was being a pest. I was then told theres a new menu and every dish I usually ordered had gone up by £2. I then questioned a £5 overpayment on my last order and I had asked for it to be put on the system to deduct from my next order. I had paid the delivery lady an extra £5 by mistake on top of a £3 tip but was told 'this long time ago phone not working now' whatever that meant. The food arrived quickly but the chicken balls were dark brown and some were burnt, we always had free prawn crackers with whatever we ordered but they seem to be no longer included and no fortune cookies which I always looked forward to opening. I have been ordering food from here for years and wouldn't go anywhere else but I would not use them again. Really not happy 5 * has dropped to 2* and I only gave them due to the quick delivery.

We love their food! Very reasonable prices. It can be delivered, but we like to walk as its not too far away. One of the best we have been to.

Nice takeaway duck dish was really good.

£8.70 for a Duck Curry and Fried Rice, asked for without any of the vegetables they put in. Service was about 10-15 minutes. Reasonable duck portion, sauce a bit lumpy, rice was ok. Bit expensive, and just a little slow for the service, but acceptable, not the best around though.

Best Chinese in the area! Always gives us more fortune cookies and crackers. Lovely flavoured food and fantastic customer service!

Best around super food quick delivery.

As visitors, we managed to get 2 visits within a few days easily.....this takeaway is still, as we said 2 years ago, an outstanding venue for takeaway food. It is very clean, the food is very, very tasty and not greasy and the sauces tasty without any thickness when it cools. As for the price....WOW! We wished we lived nearer...we would visit twice a week! Thank you....

This is our local Chinese take away. The food is always tasty and hot. All round good food and lovely welcome.

We got a takeaway on News Years Eve. Very polite considering it was so busy. Literally around the corner from us but never tried before. Crispy duck was over cooked which was a disappointment but all in all very nice and from what I could see, the kitchen was very clean. Thank you and happy new year to you all. We will be back!

I’ve ordered here quite few times and was pretty good but 2x have been bad and thought give them one last shot and was worst experience this time I ate a mouthful after getting through half way eating to discover part of a metal scourging that you was pots with on my mouth I called to tell them and the response I got is what do you want me to do if was out eating you would get at least a refund or part refund I certainly won’t be ordering here in the future so upset and disappointed

Delicious food and great value too

Loved it and so did the wife. Really tasty and not bland at all. I will definitely go back again in the future as I struggle to find a good Chinese in Ramsgate.

I am sorry to say that this Chinese is not what it used to be.The ordering is okay but delivery has now become beyond a joke and the food is cold and very sub standard!I will not be ordering from here fir a long time and will have to find another Chinese takeaway rather than this place as it’s that bad now!

i know everybody has there favourite take away ,and when someone said try this one its the best ,its not they love it ,but it not like you have. so all i can say is when i get a Chinese ,every couple of months or so the food is great ,and i dont even think of going anywhere else ,

Ordered from here last night sat 27/Oct, it came quite quick b4 the time they told me..I worked out the price b4 it came it was more expensive then I worked out a few £ more, which wasn't to impressed with.The food wasn't hot when it arrived either also the rice was very dry. Don't think will order here again.

We've used tycoon Chinese take away (home delivery) a couple of times now after some positive local feedback as we are new to the area and the food on both occasions has been delicious! the delivery was very quick and the food arrived piping hot, and is very reasonably priced as well! Will definitely be using Tycoon again!

Order was delivered incorrectly. Lady was very appologetic and re-delivered the complete order quickly with no quibble. Bottle of drink and seaweed free of charge . The food here is terrible, found hair in my food along with the omlet being like rubber, chicken balls where horrible and dry and whilst I was going to order my food they don't speak or understand English had to wait for the English driver to come and then help with my order and also does not take card.

Not often get takeaways, but this Chinese Takeaway is excellent, hot food fast delivery and well cooked.

Friendly staff, quick delivery and always with time given. Piping food when it arrives. Chefs special meal for two is enough to feed a family.

A good take away delivered well within the time, and is very good value for money. The best hot and sour soup in Ramsgate yet - my favourite chinese soup and the benchmark I use for comparison.

Sólo pedimos al magnate en lugar de nuestro habitual China, dados los comentarios que pensamos que íbamos a otro sitio, qué equivocados estábamos. Las porciones de carne de pollo y chili con cebollas eran prácticamente una parte de carne y apenas alimentado tanto mi marido y yo también nos pidió la Singapore chow mein vermicelli y conseguimos que ninguno de nosotros como bolas eran incomibles y el! Básicamente sigo con hambre y una completa falla. Tan decepcionada y sin duda volveremos a nuestro habitual de ahora en adelante. Si quieres realmente buena China, no comer desde aquí.

The chefs set special meal for about £25 is my favourite as I can never make my mind I what I want - really good quality, good service although they can never find my house for some reason which is a bit stressful but they are worth the wait!Food is tasty and good quality, not had a bad meal there yet and is the only place I will order from.

At last I have found a Chinese restaurant which is on a par with my favourite Chinese take away in Manchester, they seem to cook from the same recipes which is perfect I had a mushroom chow mein and it was gorgeous so juicy and flavourful with fresh mushrooms and their chicken satay starter was also a great treat and the king prawn chow mein we shall definitely be back hope it wasn't a first time lucky... But the best way to tell is their prawn crackers which were very fresh indeed this is always important.

We have only just started ordering from this Chinese and it is the best In The area by far. Salt and chilli chips are amazing highly recommend them. Everything is always cooked well and tastes great. Fast service as we walk in and order the longest we have had to wait is 10minuets . Will definitely be ordering from here again! ❤️

I was a bit disappointed with my take away at the weekend. We order very rarely and the good reviews appealed. I had shredded chilli beef which had leaked all over the bag and was too sweet and salt and chilli ribs which were ridiculously dry. Maybe i'm a bit picky but won't be ordering again! It did arrive really quickly though!

Always had a good meal, especially when I have their chicken satay which is very yummy. They are also always very friendly and always remeber me when I return for my next chinese.

I have just eaten takeaway from here for the second time and it has been consistently good so far. The food took just 15 minutes on a Saturday evening and the lady who served me was very friendly and professional. The food was delicious, I would highly recommend the Squid. This place is much better than most of the local Chinese Takeaways. The only one in the area that competes with this one is Lotus Garden in Palm Bay but it does not deliver and does not have squid or mussels.

Just ordered two chicken curry ,chicken chow mien and salt n pepper chips as our first order from this Chinese and we are very happy the ingredients taste fresh with chunky mushrooms how I like them the chow mien was nice and flavoursome unlike other dry takeaways near by also the salt and pepper chips are up there with the best iv tried with small tasty chips .the only thing I would say is like other Chinese places they boil there chicken for the curry which I'm not a fan of but it still tasted ok ! would recommend and will be using again

Food is always good, fresh and very tasty. The only issue is that now Lisa has left the timings are becoming an issue. Twice now we have been quoted 25-30 minutes and it is more like an hour. They must look into this if there are becoming busier so not to lose repeat custom like myself.

I like the spring rolls also hard to understand them apart from that really good service

The Tycoon offers a a good Chinese food takeaway service.The food is always hot and fresh, and of a high standard, although some dishes can vary in quality.The staff are pleasant and helpful.Menu is good, including some English dishes for people with no imagination.We've tried quite a few Chinese take-aways and this is our favourite in the area.

When I'm busy and don't get around to making dinner I order food from here. Their chili chips are beautiful and all of their dishes are fresh, tasty and beautiful every time. The staff in there particularly Lisa is are wonderful people who I like a lot.

If you enjoy Chinese food, you'll love this, fresh food, beautiful flavours, wide choice. They deliver and the owner Lisa loves when the kids visit (she gives them a free lolly pop) free prawn crackers, fast and friendly service, my go to take-away.

Fantastic food and service, never a bad dish. The duck with crispy noodles with black bean sauce is excellent.
