Had meal from here about 5 times.first 2 were amazing. Loads of flavour. 3rd not very good 4th watery.5th tasteless. Has new chef started.not as it first was won't order from here again

Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Everything had flavour and was very nice. Prices were cheap too. Definitely one of the better Indian takeaways out there.

I drove up to the takeaway some 3 miles, I ordered a chicken tikka starter and chicken tikka main course. I got home opened the starter it was mostly onions and peppers okayish no flavour, then I opened the main course...a million onions and peppers chicken on the bone, chicken tikka on the bone??? I rang to question the order no answer at 19.30 someone rang me back at 22.15 arguing about my order... apparently it was my fault! 22.20 they rang me again to say they had checked my order and I was right 🙆 and could collect a free replacement tomorrow I replied "no thank you, I would rather not".

Friendly staff, excellent food go there nearly every night for my lovely Indian feed

I thought I'd order some Indian food from ubereats for the 1st time, comes to it I ordered butter chicken which I only had a spoon full as it looks like someone has just puked into the tray + looks and is watery wasn't even hot it was cold I didn't end up eating it only a spoonfull like I said as I didn't want to get ill from eating it. I have reported it to ubereats and am hoping to get a full refund as this is just plain vile 🤢

This place must have new owners. Gone right down hill. Sauce was frozen then just added meat after. Worst Balti ever with water filling my plate

Ordered from here a few times and never missed a beat. Food is delicious and by far the best in bham. Prices are decent compared to other Indian restaurants but overall excellent food.

Spilt our food in transit then refused to repeat an order for delivery. They failed to tell us they weren't going to replace order despite driver telling us they would organise a repeat delivery. Only found out when we rang to chase update. Poor.

Looking at my local Indian takeaway it looked very nice and clean so i decided to order a takeaway from there for myself and my husband. What a mistake the food arrived on time but was cold. The chips was hard and cold and obviously been cooked a while before i received them. The curry i had lamb bhuna with 2 pieces of meat in it My husband had lamb madras the sauce was cold (thank god for microwaves) with again 2 pieces of meat in it. Keema naan with NO keema !!! The curry that we did manage to eat gave us both severe diarrhoea the next day with stomach pains NEVER AGAIN !!!

Ordered in a bit of everything. Try something different. As an score I'd say average based on what we had, nothing wowed me in flavour but was still tasty and arrived hot. Price wise i thought is great value. Had the 4 course for £12 which is popodum with salad sauce . Choice of starter main and naan. Standard chicken curry was nice not much spice but as expected. Chicken pakora was nice again standard flavour. Veg pakora was not good, flat full of peas unlike any fresh pakora I've had many times before. Naan was fresh altho bit disappointing no seasoning of butter/herbs etc. Tried the spicy donner in naan not knowing what to expect and so much sauce. When I saw the size I was expecting alot of meat but it had more onions than meat from what I could tell however it did have a nice spice. Overall good basic Indian food and I'd try it again

Delivered a completely different curry to what I ordered forgot my naan bread ,I’ve used this takeaway several times and it seems to be 50/50 as to you get what you ordered ,had one takeaway that smelled of rotten food will not be using again avoid this diabolical takeaway

Been ordering from here the last 2 years and never had a problem sometimes it takes a bit longer but other times it's arrived very quickly lovely food though

Food is absolutely disgusting food cold hardly no meat in curry chips warmed up at least 3 times like cardboard chicken balls dryer up full of salt everything was vile please don't waste any money to buy food from here

Bad delivery, don't say to customers it will 45-50 minutes when it take almost 2 hours for delivery. What a waste of £25 for our anniversary meal. We'll where do I start, 1st time trying this place and will definitely be the last. Only decent thing about the meal was the poppadoms, fresh and tasty, everything else was tasteless and bland. Mint sauce was so small needed a magnifying glass to even see it, mixed grill was scraps of leftover food, nan breas anaemic when I asked for it well-done, korma was just pure water, lack of meat, too much sauce and bland, complete waste of money and never ever use again, delivered in a cardboard box for tomatoes which were lacking in the onion salad. Contact if you want pictures of your poor idea of a curry house and I've tried plenty and this by far is the worst ever so dont waste your money, try elsewhere

Worst food and customer service ever food came after 1 hour and 30 mins freezing cold tried to contact for 2 hours no reply threw food in bin contacted them and told me nothink they could do !!!!

The "Spicy Doner Meat" gets 5 Stars alone. The curries are great too.

Ordered via Just eat and waited almost two hours for takeaway. Maybe a wrong time but asked driver if they was busy or short staffed and they said no. No sorry or comms form Rajmah.

I order a curry as a treat it came luke warm and the curry sauce was tomatoey and salty and the chicken was like rubber and the chips were raw and I will not be ordering again. Thank god for the naan bread as it was eidable.

Iv order mix grill ,chips and naan .Mix grill not very happy as it was half shekh kebab ,one piece chiken ,two tiny lamb tikka boti one prawn .All the food was same colour red same taste .even shekh kebab.Iv paid £12 for that.🤔 . Naan and chips were lovely .and good size.

Chefs can't read orders twice sent order out wrong and when I rang back to say it was wrong again I was called abusive all because I asked is the chef got a problem reading the order !

I have been using Tile Cross Balti for a long time and it's always excellent but this weeks curry was the worse i have ever had . I don't think i will use again .

Well priced deals, food was so good. Hot, fresh and lots of it. Cooked to perfection, ordered online to a hotel and they delivered no problem, within like half an hour which was incredibly quick. Thanks

Ordered over a hour and half ago no updates on food phoned twice there excuse was were busy , so if your busy that you cant do the orders you take don’t accept the order , really not impressed as my pop was missed out from the order ,

Been using this place for a number of years and I have always been happy with the food ...the last two takeaways have been awful. ...chicken Madras and chicken balti were so dry and tasteless. ..I can only assume that they have changed chefs because it's not as good as it used to be...first bad meal I gave them the benefit of the doubt but for it to happen again the next week is not on ....will try elsewhere. ....

Ordered from here on my visit to Birmingham. The food was awful. The nan were rock hard. The butter chicken was sweet. The chicken and prawn balti had hardly any chicken or prawns. The biryani was awful. We both had upset stomachs the next day. The shami kebabs were red and flavourless. How does this place exist?

Got recommended this place by a friend ordered online waited over an hour and half , called the restaurant multiple times and no one answered!!!! the food NEVER arrived Absolutely Discusting service would NOT recommended this place

Not giving any stars. Food was so poor. Got the order wrong. Food was bland. King prawn Balti is NOT a king prawn butterfly which was what I ordered . Food went in the bin.

Absolute rip off. Only gave a star for recording purposes! At the end of a long day looked forward to the “ Tandoori Soecial” listed under “ Tandoori Specials” on the restaurant menu at £5.95 . Three of us chose this option for delivery to a proximate location to the shop. Please refer to the attached photographs which show one of the “ portions.” We ordered three, all were identical. I have no idea what “ Tile Hill Baltic’s definition of a meal actually is, but their portion size constitues the size of a starter option compared to any other local Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant. ( We eat a lot of Indian food).We checked to determine if there has been an error and we were sent three starters in error. Unfortunately the option is NOT offered on the starter menu so our conclusion is we have been well and truly RIPPED OFF by Tile Cross Balti. We compiled this review under one hour after consuming the “ Tandoori Soecial” we ate having travelled for much of the day and being extremely hungry. And we are now hungry again, my stomach is rumbling abs it looks like I’ve no alternative to get into my car on a cold night abs drive to McDonalds! AVOID THIS TAKE AWAY AT ALL COSTS. I am fed up and hungry. £17.85 down and my stomach is already rumbling with hunger not even an hour after finishing the “ Tandoori Soecial!” The only thing “ Soecial” about this was the portions are ESPECIALLY SMALL. … AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Having narrowly missed placing an order last week (the kitchens shut at 11pm, so their Just Eat portal closes at 10:30pm), I made sure to grab their set meal for two this time, and was certainly not disappointed: excellent food, delivered quickly and still hot. No question that I'll be in touch again very soon indeed.

Worst service ever . Ordered biryani around 7.45 still not arrived. Never even going to order again 😕cos its only 10 minutes away from mine but not bothered to deliver the food and most worst and disappointed thing is they ignored my inquiries for ages and finally they picked my phone around 10 and lied to me that the driver will be knocking my door in a minute. How arrogant and terrible is that . Shane on their poor poor service.

Food arrived late, was just about warm and butter chicken was awful. Garlic naan didn't taste like it had any garlic at all. The only plus side was that they provided me with a poppadom and salad for free.

These were my number one place but sadly just like many businesses today they take your loyalty for granted. 2 hours wait for a curry. When I telephoned asking they said due to black Friday however there are no black Friday deals online. Time to find another curry place!

please dont order the quarter chicken from the english selection. costs £6.00 and more meat on a sparrows kneecap. ordered it for my 13 year old daughter who loves her chicken. she just looked and said is this a joke three dried up bones. meat was bone dry. gave it to the dog. and ordered her a seperate meal from mcdonalds. which we couldnt really afford but could not see her without dinner. dissapointed big time as this is our first time using this takeaway.

I am highly disappointed with the food I have ordered. I DO NOT Recommend this restaurant as this is the WORST one. The curries were too sweet and creamy, the lamb tika was uneidble, wasn't cooked well! Very disappointed.

Super delicious and great prices! 😋 I was a little hesitant to order because of the other reviews, and yes the food was a little late but totally worth it!! Also, super nutritious unlike most takeaways.

First time and it was not good. Was recommended by a friend who has been raving about this place. Probably OK if you love lots of onions and canned mushrooms, yes canned mushrooms. I don't understand because my friend is a good judge. Must be that the chef wasn't in and they dragged a 6 year old to cook for the night. Unacceptable

Our food was fast, piping hot, and fresh. The naan breads were clearly cooked to order and generously buttered. The chicken tikka masala was incredible, beautiful flavour of nuts and cream. North Indian Garlic Chilli is a must to try, was outstanding. The option to have ANY meat or vegetable in ANY curry is fantastic and you can add additional items to your curry as well, which is amazing.

Food arrived hour and half later, chips cold, curry foul, popadom stale and soft, naan bread no meat in(keema) I live 5 minutes away and when I ordered 2 popadoms I received 1... wouldn’t recommend TILE CROSS BALTI! You have been warned 20/4/21 22.10

We used The Tile Cross Balti for the first time tonight to order some food from there online and we only had to wait 25 minutes for our order to arrive and the food was piping hot and tasted delicious so we awarded 5 STARS rating and we will be ordering online again in the very near future.

the guys spent more time looking at my breast.... I got a omellet for my toddler, it was very close to burnt that when I opened it, it smelt burnt... the menu said one price but they charged me another. The waiting area has a run down ripped sofa that left bits all over my clothing and body... so many cobwebs I didn't see until I was walking out... it looks run down... the food is passable but I wont be ordering from here again

Knew something was not correct when I walked into the building and seen that no food hygiene rating sticker was being displayed when browsing waiting for my food...which by this point I had already placed my order and paid.. everything displayed looks scruffy on the walls but beside that I decided to google the rating that they was given by the council and was very surprised to see that they was given a 1* and that was a shock. Anyway I got home and started to plate my food up and realised I had paid for stale flexible popadoms which was thrown away. Then to plate my main dish and was not happy at all to find that once tasting this dish which I have from many places was tasteless and very dry. I will not be using this curry house again until hygiene standards have improved and overall quality of the food. Do your self a favour and clean the place up as you walk into the building looks like a charity shop no standards at all.

Just perfection. Better than most high class restaurants. Yes if you don’t order early u may have to wait a while for your meal. But that’s because it’s simply the best. Seriously give them ago. 100% all the time every time.

Do not order for delivery unless you are happy to wait over 3 hours! If we had not already paid online in advance I would of cancelled the order. We ordered at 6:17pm and received a confirmation email immediately. By 7:47pm no food had been delivered so we phoned them for an update. We was told that our delivery had just left the shop and was on its way. We had only ordered 2 Biriyanis, 1 naan, 1 side, and we only live 2.3 miles away. By 8:36pm there was still nothing so we called them again. This time we were told that they had never received our order due to some technical issues and were asked to tell them what our order was. My husband was in the process of pulling up the confirmation email so that we could give them the exact names of the items on our order. However the man on the phone was able to tell us exactly what we had ordered before we could do this, despite the fact that they never received our order. We were told that it was being made now and it will be with us soon, and they tried to make us forget about the issue by telling us we would get a free popadom. By 9:10pm there was still nothing and we felt that we needed to call them again to make sure that they were processing our order. The man couldn't wait to get us off the phone, told us it would be there in 10 mins and was going on about popadoms again. All I wanted was the food we had ordered 3 hours ago. At 9:23pm the food finally arrived, but before we could have it we had to listen to the excuses from the delivery man about why it took so long and that we are getting free popadoms. He also told us that we should have phoned through our order after placing it online. Firstly, why offer the option to order online if you can not follow though with the service this way, and secondly the first time we called we was told the order was on its way. If there really was a technical issue then it should have been picked up the first time we called instead of being told it was already on its way. This makes me question whether there really was a technical issue or not, but if there was I feel sorry for all the other customers that ordered after us and are probably still waiting. It's a shame because apart from a few minor issues in the past, we have generally enjoyed the food from this place. Fortunately there are plenty of other Indian takeaways around.

Terrible place ordered at 5pm still no delivery at 8.20 when called was told driver tried to deliver at 7.30 but explained no one had been here to be called a liar even tho I have cctv evidence never order from here again will be seeing manager with evidence aswell not nice to be called a liar !!!!!

Ive tried a few currys in the area and this place has easily been my favorite!
