Always very good food, staff always prompt and helpful, prices very reasonable. Worth a detour.Highly recomended.Must visit this outstanding restaurant.

In my opinion, the best Curry in MK. I’ve eaten here once, twice and occasionally 3 times a week for over 10 years.

Used a Groupon voucher. We arrived on a Saturday night at 7.00pm. There were a few customers in. Place was cold. We asked if we could pay the extra for additonal items and told yes, however when we asked for a more expensive starter were told no. We argued the point and the waiter conceeded. The tables were very basic with just a knife and fork and a flyer for Mothers Day with a Valentines advert on the back. Poppadoms were okay but the relish bowls looked as thought they had been thrown together. We had the chicken chat as a starter and found some of the chicken tough. We had the chicken jalfrezi.chicken dopiaza which was okay. We went over the Groupon voucher and again had to confirm that we would pay any extra. We had just finished our main course when a waiter presented us with a bill. The bill was much more than we expected but we could not be bothered to argue. We were not offered dessert or coffee. No nice hot towels, mints etc. nothing speical to make us want to come back. By now it was 8.00pm and there was no one in the restaurant. We left and wont go back.

Just had the worst curry experience with my friend. ☹️First after ordering our drinks we get told sorry only spicy popadoms tonight, which we politely declined. Went on to order starters and mains only to be then told after we’d ordered that there were no onion bhajis and would we like something else so then agreed on veg samosas. These came and one of mine was definitely lamb so good job I’m not a veggie. Main was ok and then we got the bill.A very creepy waiter then had the cheek to ask for cash only! We told them we only had card and he asked us to use the cash point by the shop. As 2 women alone in the restaurant we were feeling really uncomfortable. After a second look in our purses we managed to come up with the correct money and then couldn’t get out of there fast enough.Totally unacceptable service and made to feel very uncomfortable. Will never visit again or recommend to anyone.

No complaints with the food, service not so good. As with other reviews I found the waiters a little abrupt and rude. We have been to other Indian restaurants nearby and the service has been exceptional. So based on this I will not be returning.

The entrance to the Raj Douth is a little unprepossessing as it is part of a small shopping complex. but once in, one actually feels as though a genuine Indian experience is coming - no fancy music or decoration but a solid, down to earth eating experience provided with a smile. They also do take-away services and were very busy on every occasion on which we visited, but we were still served with efficiency and courtesy. Thoroughly to be recommended

Usually stop of in here for a Sunday evening. The food is always cooked fresh and is always good. Only disappointment is the drinks are never cold

Two of us dined here on Saturday night and really enjoyed the experience. The starters of Onion Bhaji and Sheek Kebab were very good and light. The main courses consisted of an average Lamb Korma and an excellent Chicken Karahi. The accompanying plain rice and plain nan were also light and fresh. We had two beers (large cobra) between us and a coffee on the house. Overall a very good meal with friendly staff and excellent value for money.
