Rainbow&Dove in Leicester

Cold respection from Management. Went order drinks no postive customer it feel like being looked through as if you were made of glass I only Hope things improve

The reason I give this negative review is because of there total lack of customer service. When it come to the over all cost of a product it the physical pint and the level of customer and environment. My issue was when I was service by a male member of staff, the staff member couldn't look at barly smile. The word I would use is; provincial,snobbish. As someone who went out by my self they feel it ok to be judgment hope to see improvement

Rainbow and dove is one of the best lgbtq bars around..i have been going to this venue for nearly 6 years now...i think the staff there are amazing and the new owners are really friendly

We had the best time here . It's the best Bottomless Brunch i have been to. It's the second time we have been here , the first time was not a very good experience but it has massively improved. Thr bar staff were lovely and nothing was to much for Sparky or Dominic. Our glasses were filled even before we had time to ask lol The whole experience was 💯% fantastic. Well done Rainbow and Dove.

We were looking for somewhere to eat before a concert and were struuggling when we found this place. So welcoming and lovely burgers, wonderful coleslaw and delicious hereford beef.

Great food, drinks, staff and other visitors. Had a truly great time!!! Will definitely be back again when we next come to Leicester.

Visited in the evening for a quick bite to eat after hearing good things. Wasn’t disappointed. Great burger and fries, homemade coleslaw. Perfect size portions. Venue was clean and welcoming. Definitely returning on my next trip to Leicester.

Went in tonight, amazing staff, great service, place very clean and spotless. The music was great. Can't fault the place. Thank you for your hospitality.

The Rainbow and Dove always is such a warm, friendly and fun experience. The food taste excellent and has a variety of selection from Gluten free, Vegetarian and Vegan. This restaurant / bar Is for people of any age and welcomes everyone who attends. The staff are very hard working and very friendly. Especially Errel and Owner James. I recommend the experience of the Rainbow and Dove for everyone who is welcome. The new refurbishment is lush and looks of high quality. There is large smoking area for smokers or people who vape. The drinks and cocktails are amazing and are served with elegance and taste. The staff always serve with a smile and work really hard to serve their customers.

Nasty, aggressive and rude owner who went for my female friend. As a male in power I would expect a lot more. I was so shocked to see him launch and attack my friend for no apparent reason and then continue to attack two male onlookers that had seen him lose his mind. He was aggressive and nasty and I will never, ever return and will never allow friends or family to return to such a disgusting and unprofessional environment. My friend is now traumatised and scared of going into town as a casual Wednesday turned into an attack. I hope this place gets shut down for the sake of everybody.

The staff are really friendly and it is a great venue to meet friends and socialise. Great community of friendly people. The decoration is classy and chic. I recommend you visit the rainbow and the Dover castle fun a great fun night out.

I was meeting friends so agreed to meet here. Purchased a pint of Heineken £5, which i think is excessive in Leicester at least £1 more than i expected to pay in a gay pub. If I hadn't been meeting friends I would have walked out and left the pint on the bar. I will not be visiting this pub again. At least Dick Turpin wore a mask when he robbed people.

Good venue nice decor. Modern.relaxing. Excellent service from the bar person. Very friendly. Good atmosphere.

Nice looking place, quite trendy, but during the time we visited, three times over three days, it was very quiet. However, the staff are friendly as were the few people we met there, there was also a good selection of gin, which is fine by me.

Management and staff are all unprofessional, never visit in your life, if you do you will regret it!

Visited this place due to the free wristbands advertised on the website for another venue, and upon requesting, was told it was no longer available and was charged for them. It still says on the website free wristbands with purchase of drinks (we bought 2 rounds). Never been back since, it’s a great way to loose ongoing revenue if your customers feel swindled on their first ever visit.

Went in on Easter Saturday, only 2 in the bar. Bar lady was friendly and chatty, albeit bored. Beer was nice and decent price, music was good. Popped back in the evening when it was a bit more lively. Left to go to another venue but wish we had stayed.

My friends and I quite enjoyed the atmosphere here. It was a very quiet night when we went and got 2 for 1 cocktails. A couple of us were very much turned off by how strong the cocktails tasted--the alcohol taste far surpassed the tastes of anything else, and the two were unable to drink them. My husband and I ended up finishing their drinks off! I think he and I would go again and try the food and different cocktails.

Last time I visited this place it was really quiet. I was in a party of 5 and with us there was 9 in the bar.

Tuve una gran noche en este bar. Un gran ambiente! Alex y Jack eran camareros fabulosos y me ayudó a sentir como en casa aunque estaba un poco más de 3500 millas de casa. Las bebidas eran grand y también tenían ofertas especiales! Gracias chicos!

The R&B; is vibrant and full of life, with great live music and a real feel for the culture. It's one of Leicester's best gay scene places, and a great pklace to meet people.

We had a lovely time here recently , the bar is nicely decorated with friendly staff and great cocktails

This is a cozy pub with comfy seating and friendly staff. The interiors have been done tastefully to compliment the original classic decor. Happy hour is till 7pm offering 2 cocktails for the price of one!

Ha pasado un tiempo desde que he comido aquí así que no estoy seguro si todavía sirven la comida. Pero es un gran bar, personal excelente y cuando comimos allí la comida demasiado

Sausage Thursdays.... being a Gay bar this could easily be taken the wrong way lol... basically you can have a free sausage buttie on a Thursday 5:30- 7:30..... I'm still to learn why exactly :/ cocktails were good if a little expensive, service was good and bar not too busy when we went on a Saturday evening around 7 and then later at 10ish. Beer garden/smoking area had heat lamps that worked and plenty of seating, inside décor was comfortable with a mix of chairs, tables, armchairs, bar seats and high tables too

I'm not a late night pub person, so tend to come here late afternoon/early evening. It's very mixed, friendly, the service is great and they often do really good deals on wine.

After looking around Leicester for something to eat, we stumbled in on this place, it gets livelier the later it gets. The food was cheap but very good, we did have to wait a while after ordering, but it was worth it. I would recommend this place, but would suggest you go a little later!

First time in this Bar, very nice havent been too Leicester in awhile and often wondered if there was a Gay bar open in the day for a drink and food as the Dover does not open till 3 so asking a friend he suggested this place and so glad he did the staff were very friendly It was clean Modern Decor and good music We both had food and it came promptly and was very nice and reasonable for a city centre establishment would love too go back on a weekend night.Thanks guys will be back
