Abu Daniel Shisha Cafe in Leicester

Really disappointing experience here, the service was slow, food was terrible and shisha wasn’t great. It’s a great shame as the decor is pretty and had looked promising.

It was amazing! However there’s a particular need to mention the hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome😍

The staff are really passionate and made the experience so pleasant. Really recommend and can’t wait to return!!

Had an amazing time at Mabel! The staff are attentive and make sure you have everything you need. The drinks is exceptional, with a wide variety to choose from, all well-prepared. The lounge is comfortable, stylish, and perfect for spending time with friends. Definitely worth a visit!

Not much variety in the menu , very expensive , the waitress was very unorganised, couldn't take an order in one go, sheesha was okay , hot coffee was served cold. Toilets had no toilet paper. Decor was really nice. Unfortunately won't be visiting again.

Disappointing Experience – Poor Service & Tiny Portions Our visit to this restaurant was far from enjoyable. We waited nearly 40 minutes without any waiter taking our order and had to flag one down ourselves. The staff were completely unorganized and unprofessional, making the experience frustrating from the start. The drinks arrived in a reasonable time, but the food took almost an hour to be served. The ‘Chicken Steak’ was nothing more than half a grilled chicken breast, accompanied by a measly six fries. While the BBQ Ribs tasted great, the portion sizes were shockingly small, with the same six fries as a side. To make matters worse, it took them nearly two hours to replace the shisha coals. Overall, this place lacks efficiency, organization, and value for money. Would not recommend.

We was here today and I do not recommend it to anyone. 1. we waited over an hour for food, 2. I ordered a medium rare steak and got it dried out , 3. the portions were small like for a child. 4. at the end we waited for the bill for 30 minutes 🤦‍♂️

Perfect dining experience at Mabel! I mean the place is stunning first of all. This is not just a shisha lounge as it may first appear. The food and drinks were bomb but the customer service was really top tier. Impressed all around.

I recently ordered the Crispy Chicken Fillet at this restaurant , and as a Sous Chef, I was disappointed with both the quality and portion size. For £8.50, I received only two small pieces of chicken fillet along with a small portion of lettuce. The fried ingredients lacked the expected crispiness and flavor, and the lettuce tasted unusually bitter. For the price, I expected a more satisfying portion and better quality. I hope the restaurant considers improvements in both these areas.

Interior is quite good but one of the staff member is not well mannerd and professional.He is very rude to customers.

So basically, I have paid £94 for 2 burgers and 3 drinks

This place used to be a Shisha Lounge previously under a different company and management, but had a period when it has been closed and now the new owners revamped it! The cosy ambience is great, it has a good vibe to it, really cool, contemporary feel. We were on a late night in, but we could still order some drinks and a Shisha without being rushed to leave (highly appreciated). Myself and my friend had mocktails and a frozen watermelon Shisha. The kitchen was already closed so a pity we couldn’t have some food but understandable. The drinks as in what I’ve tried so far needs to be enhanced in taste and technique definitely. The hookah we have had had had a plastic extendable tube and plastic end to hold on, which contradicted the environment that has a luxury feel overall. I guess that is to do with the brands they are representing, because I could see also the elegant metal and glass, high quality hookhas by afendi being available on premises. This place could really benefit by live curated music (DJs) to enhance the overall experience, and the screens (tvs) should be used only for specific sporting events scheduled, otherwise just display either the items on the menu or something ambiental that transcends into the surroundings. The effort and investment to level up the area and create better, safer spaces has been truly noted. Bonus point the security guard at the entrance. Well done!

Me and my boyfriend have been here 3 or 4 times. Great food and good atmosphere. Shisha is good and the cocktails are lovely!

Good food and shishas. Service is very good and a really nice new place.

I went there last night and ordered a glass of mojito. Firstly, staff behaviour was not professional. I had to wait for a long time to see somebody comes to me to receive my order. Secondly, the portion of mojito was not satisfying due to the £7.7 I paid. The glass was full of ice cubes but a little portion of syrup. I did not like their atmosphere and the music as well.

Nice and cosy, newly refurbished. The Mexican burger, recommend it. Very tasty and fresh.

Having just had the lunch set menu it was amazing value for money we would certainly recommend it won't be long before we go again

Very good music and helpful staff but no uniform , one lady served me wearing slippers . Damn !!! Also the women ’s toilets are always dirty and no soap in them . The walls , the sink etc . Good shisha as well but will def stop coming as the cleanliness is not on point !!!!

Very nice place . I enjoyed my time, and I had a great experience. They had great Shasha flavour, the services are excellent 👌, the price is cheaper than the other's Shasha places, the place is cosy and comfortable 😀, definitely I recommend you to visit.

Shisha is decent, the vibe is really nice and vibrant. They do have heating but it still can get a bit cold in winter due to the open panels near the windows and staff dont come round that often to check on the shisha.

This isn’t a cafe, it’s a crap, empty club. Very hostile gang of men like wanna be gangsters cracking awful music really loud. We left after 5 minutes. Never ever again

Shisha doesn’t taste like anything unfriendly staff and horrible atmosphere DO NOT COME HERE. After I complained the manager tried to fight me and kicked us all out NOT ACCEPTABLE

The shisha we ordered tasted like coal and no flavour it was so cold and they did nothing to help with that. The prices for the drinks was £8 for a simple vodka and coke. Would not recommend

It was a great place with awesome vibes for Shisha smokers. I don't smoke but I went with a friend who does and he said it was great. I liked the Arab music as well playing all through as it was soft vibes for me at Abu Daniel Shisha Cafe. Shisha smokers will definitely love this place. They sell fruits here as well and I played snooker.

I came here with my friends we ordered shisha waited over an hour for coal staff was no where to be seen had to go twise to the till and ask for coal then someone came my friends shisha was too strong she asked him if he could sort it he snatched it off her hand and he was so rude ignored us and walked off. Went to order food they hardly had anything on the menu brough my burger with no sauce it was soo dry and asked where is my chips they said they run out the girl was soo rude was pointing her fingers and hand over to our table they didnt come to apologise for nothing they expensive for no reason very disappointed dont bother wasting your money here..

The atmosphere was amazing. The main boss sorted us out really good. I would definitely recommend people to come down. Best service.

A great place to go for shisha and to watch football matches with friends. The flavours are quite good but the music is too loud that might be sometimes annoying.

Super bar à chicha, très accueillant, bonne ambiance, music et tv et le personnel vous sert comme un roi et vient remplacer les charbons etccc entre deux. Possibilité de manger des pâtisseries. Lampes chauffantes à dispo, les fauteuils confortables et c'est très propre.

Even after letting it go when employees heavily and dishonestly overcharged us and didn't give us receipts, even after spending nearly £100 here (should have been ~£54, had we been correctly charged), they still tried to charge us £1 for water for one of our group. They tried to give us a bottle. When we said we just wanted a glass of water, they said they cant do that. When my husband became exasperated, took down the employee's info, and commented to us that the situation was ridiculous, they took the shisha WE'D PAID FOR away and told us to leave without even finishing all the drinks we'd bought. We didn't start any drama or cause any problems - we just couldn't understand why they refused us ONE GLASS OF WATER. Huge let down. We are very disappointed and do not recommend this establishment to anyone who enjoys not getting ripped off.

Atrocious service. I asked for a coal change 3 times and theh did not assist me for a whole 1 hr. Also, I ordered food, they did not deliver my food till I had to go back up again and ask!! Terrible staff, ignoring me. Not recommenced at all....

Ridiculous, we came as a group then 3 of our friends went home due to them saying that we have to buy more shisha's for them to stay eventhough we bought 3 already and food and drinks, we have never before been told that you had to buys 1 shisha per 2 people entering, what absolute shambles -all the best take care

Very good shisha smooth and service is class

I liked their shisha for it's great flavour and long lasting effect but the last time I went ,the level of the flavour, the smoke and the long lasting effect had dropped so much I couldn't believe it . Had to call them a few times to fix it but nothing helped and I left it alone.

Vietato l'ingresso ai minori di 18 anni. 10£ per uno shisha e consigliatissimo per chi ama scoprire la cultura orientale. Personale molto cortese ed attento alle esigenze. Consigliato per piccoli e grandi gruppi. La zona è molto centrale ma non completamente, a pochi passi si trova Granby Street ovvero la via principale di Leicester. Ottimo.

Staff working there are unfriendly and don't seem to care about the customer experience. Also the shisha is cheap and low quality which reflects in its tast.

Bad service. Didn't like the shisha told 4 people and no body wanted to help or change it. Tasted more like coal them the flavour we ordered. Spent £40 and left in 15 mins. Ended up in another shisha cafe which was miles better. Not going here again. So disappointed with the service.
