Came in for lunch today. Amazing Fresh food, superb service.

Service - absolutely dreadful, no hello no salaam instead I got a "What you want" I enquired about a plug so I can do some work whilst I eat my food instead the reply was "this is a place to eat not office to do your work" a some sorry we don't have plugs would have been enough but uncle woke up being savage. The food was nice I bought a chicken pasty and the atmosphere was a nice place where one could work but the dreadful service drove me out quicker than I could eat. I will definitely not be recommending this place again Person who served me needs lessons on adab. Uncle with a white beard. Very grumpy. Smile it's Sunnah

Always a amazing experience, fresh food and pastries made on site, even if it looks like it's finished don't forget to ask because they had loads freshly baked at the back - always pop by whenever I'm in Leicester keep it up!

I ordered anniversary cake for my parents. The spelling was wrong (shop spelt it as ‘ ‘ANNIVASSARY’) ruined the entire day and the shop didn’t not want to sort me out for the inconvenience. The man said for me to come back and he will give me a discount next time but unfortunately there won’t be a next time. Feel very let down.

We got an anniversary cake from this shop for family members and they spelt it annivassary made us all look like idiots and won’t even try to rectify this mistake with even a little bit of money back

What can I say ! I’ve been to many places to find somewhere to eat. This place has it all in abundance! Variety is out of this would, this coupled with quality ingredients used to concoct many equist dishes. To top things off they even have cakes that are honestly out of this world. Combined with exceptional service ( Shairaz and Co ). Oh and they have ample parking and seating area!. Rarely write reviews but this place deserves it and wish them continued success :)

I asked the price of a plain jacket potato. The older guy (white beard who usually does all the serving) stated they dont sell plain potatoes. The menu on the board above showed plain potato. When I pointed this out. He said all our potatoes come with butter. i said yes that's fine. I will buy it with the butter. He said no we only sell it with fillings. I again asked why he wouldn't sell a plain potato and he refused saying they only sell with a filling. I go to this shop on a regular basis and I really disappointed. Another guy who always works in the shop was outside and I asked him if they sell plain potatoes and he said yes. I told him the older guy refused to sell it plain and i wanted it for the kids. I am so disheartened. Also learn to crack a smile old dude

I love the Masala chips with cheese from this place. And my hubby loves the steak pastry. The only reason why I gave it a 4* is because I do think it's a bit overpriced for what you get... That portion of chips cost me £5.50!!

I ordered a butter icing cake but doesn't taste nice. The icing is just full of suger and cake very dry. Waste of money!

The person on the till makes up his own prices on the spot. Ordered a panini which said £5 on the menu and he charged me £8. Rip off

The person who served us was speaking in a very rude tone and when we asked the man for two separate boxes he said that you should've asked me before. When he gave the change, he threw the money on the counter and I left. Ok food and price, would not recommend.

Brought a slice of cake today which was claimed to be fresh, but in fact when we opened it, it was covered in mold. When we returned to show the shop, he acted confused as if he didn't know what mold was. This place always disappoints from the quality to the customer service.

Food quality is poor for amount paid. Not worth it. Me and my girlfriend went their to eat we weee trying to order and the old uncle was like try shraded chicken fries charge me £10.50. I ask uncle is it fresh. He replied just came out now. The food was cold fries was sogy. I didn't even complain to him coz their is no point talking to old guy. He just wanted to make money by selling old food

Chicken kebabs were nice. Chocolate fudge cake was dry and stale. Coffee not so good not even a full glass. Peri peri steak panini was expensive and dry. Tough steak nothing great about it. Not even peri peri just some sauce (very little ) n a small piece of tomato. 3 chicken samosa ok Chips are chips can't really get it wrong. Overall not worth the amount spent. Over £25 for food and 2 hot drinks

These guys serve food cooked and/or baked on a daily basis. All their food tends to be well cooked, spiced well (but not too much), and their bakery goods are adequately sweetened. There is seating available, but get there early if you want breakfast.

Best takeaway or sit in cafe style eatery. The t-bone, lamb burgers pastries, pastas and masala chips are all yum. Defo the best place to have a quick bite while shopping in highfields area.

Amazing food with really good customer service. I would highly recommend if you fancy an early morning breakfast or lunch.

Fantastic food. Great prices. Great service. Pasties are top notch and all the cakes and doughnuts are really nice. Masala chai is nice but wish it was home made. They've updated the interior which is a lot nicer. Customer toilets need improvement. Will come again and again - I've grown up with DC and its always been a tasty place to grab a bite.

Very disappointing, overly priced with no quality to match, have paid top money for a rubbery steak, told the elderly guy behind the counter who never smiles, he was uninterested and offered no help... since then reluctantly went back yesterday, again over paid for some food with no quality, I should have learnt from previous experiences, customer service is the worst you can expect, they charge 5 star rates for 1 star services.. have had some decent food there once or twice, but the poor service out weighs any good experience I have ever had here.

We have been here a few times in the past. The food is good. We won't be visiting again as the owner at the counter needs to learn manners, doesn't greet you or thank you and replys in an abrupt manner.

Delicious Corner used to be our hotspot for quick lunches, unfortunately, it isnt the same anymore. The steak roll and otjer selection of rolls are very small for the price you pay, fillings are also quite basic. However, the biscuits are just as good as they used to be.

Tried something different, love the atmosphere. Sandwiches, Meals, soup of the day!!

I would call it snacks corner. ample car parking in front.

Had breakfast here in morning. Sorry but it was poor. Charged £15.00 for 2 english breakfast with masala tea. Tea wasn't great tho. Breakfast we got 1 sausage, beans, 1 tomatoe, 1 egg, 1 hash brown and 2 slices of toast. The taste was not there and my personal thoughts 'it's the skimpiest English breakfast i've ever seen'. The gentleman however was very nice taking orders.

Well known cafe / bakery in Leicester that has been around for many years. Quality of food is high and to a good standard.

My table was dirty, the seats were dirty, I was cleaning them with a tissue, the guys behind the counter only watched, didn't come and clean the table at all! Service was not with a smile, not was it a good experience. Food was cold, didn't even offer to heat it up. (They used to, long ago when this place served food with pride) slightly burnt pasties, he even tried to give me the lamb sausage roll that was totally overcooked and shouldn't have even been on display! Prices are way too high, this was a place that served quality, fresh and well priced food. Not anymore. Its become a regular, over priced food place that lives off its old reputation. Sad, because it used to be a nice place to eat.

Terrible service waited 10mins for 3 donuts whilst kids where crying simply because the owner was to busy on the telephone chit chatting to serve me and explain that they had no donuts ready and that they had to make them. If they told me that from the start I would have purchased another selection. On top the owner then tries to blame the kids saying they don’t have patience. Rude and arrogant learn how to improve your customer service.

Good food good location but appalling customer service

Used to come here when we lived in leicester years ago so thought we would give it a try for breakfast. What a big mistake. The bearded guy behind the counter was grumpy, uninterested. We had to get his attention to place the order even though we were stood right in front of him. I tried to ask for a omelette only as I dnt eat all the items on the english breakfast menu but instead go that with a masala omelette. The english breakfast itself is such bad value.....1 egg, 1 hash brown, 2 toast, some beans and 3 pieces of 1/4 tomatoes and a sausage for £6.50 with a drink. Never again....glad I didnt come with my kids. Awful service and poor food.

It's all gone down hill, been coming since 2010. The breakfast was the main attraction modestly priced and decent sized portions. Now it's £6.50!!!! 1 soggy sausage, 1 egg, yup 1 egg!! 1 hash brown, 2 pieces of toast and some beans. Leaves you puzzled as to what you exactly paid for because it certainly isn't filling in the slightest!! Don't bother you will regret going. Hugely disappointing.

I stopped here for chips on our annual Xmas fishing trip as I didn't want to sit drinking or playing bingo, the food was hot and tasty although a bit salty even though I didn't ask for salt

Have been in many times for steak and gravy pasties however on the last two occasions the pasties have been dry and lacking gravy also the distinct peppery taste has disappeared. Must be a different cook that's all I can put it down to.

Speaking of past experience, I found that as a patisserie, they were very good. Sadly I , m no longer working close by so I don,t get to drop in as I used to. It,s a shame that they no longer make those delicious potato & spinach pastry slices as they did 20 years ago when I first discovered the place. I can only rate them on the pasties, that,s all I went in for. I didn,t find them expensive. Other reviewers claim them to be not so friendly but I think they,re just a bit matter of fact, perhaps they could smile a bit more. But whatever others have said , personally I have fond memories of this place.

Good variety of Halal food for a cob shop, but i feel just because they have more variety than most cob shops do they charge a higher price. i think if they kept prices in line with most cob shops would be more better and busier. on a plus point all the food ie cooked fresh on a daily basis and its first come first serve once its gone its gone. They also do a cake range for any occasion and i HIGHLY recommend the vanilla and raspberry creme cake with real fruit decoration which i always get.
