Rainbow Landscaping Centre in Boston

This was honestly the freshest and tastiest Carvery I have ever had. The staff were so friendly and efficient too. Clean and not overcrowded. Great coffee. The price was so reasonable too. We have found a little gem and will definitely be regular customers. Thank you.

Had heard about this restaurant/cafe via the local FB pages so popped in on a Saturday morning for a quick coffee. Don’t be mislead by the empty Garden Centre at the front as the unit is through the centre doors. A very warm greeting met us and we sat in the front part. Was just going to have a coffee but decided on a panini and a bowl of chips. The chips were hand made and absolutely delicious!! The service was very prompt and the young lady server was very polite. I would have given this 5 stars but it the restaurant was a little on the chilly side although we were told this when we arrived. Shame the garden centre is not open as I think this would have really bought a lot more business into the restaurant. Well worth taking time out to visit and oh! the prices were really worth it!!!

Lovely and bright layout in the restaurant, staff very friendly and breakfasts cooked to order so nice and hot. Will definitely be back as they also have an area which is dog friendly.

We arrived a little early for Sunday Lunch and there was a little confusion, as there was a lack of clarity as to what the procedure was. This was quickly addressed with a few questions from my wife and the staff were courteous kind and patient in their explanation. As we selected our food from the carvery, right through to eating and choosing desserts, the staff were extremely pleasant and were attentive in an appropriate manor. We would highly recommend this establishment and have already given out recommendations to friends and family. We certainly will be back soon. Well done and keep up the high standards.

Visited the CAFE NOT the garden centre. What can I say, first time there, was expecting great food and good service. 40 mins later we still had not recieved our food. Only 3 other couples in the restaurant and one of those had already finished. Food finally arrived by a sweet young girl who was polite and well mannered. I mentioned the wait time and she apologised. Two mins later the cook came out with toast and asked what the problem was. She continue to throw down the toast and leave with a face of thunder. I immediately address the situation and told her that her manners and attitude was disgraceful. She replied she wasn't there to argue with me which I reply I was there for that either I was there to EAT. FAT CHANCE OF THAT. I left payment for the pot of tea which I had finish thirty mins before the breakfast. All I can say is dont visit if your busy or expect a friendly service. Very sad as we try our best to support local businesses.

I and 2 elderly friends went to this restaurant on 21st June 2021, which was to celebrate my 66th birthday. When we arrived we were told not to sit by the window as there were fruit flies there and an insect zapper. We sat much further up and ordered drinks. My friend swallowed a fruit fly in his tea and I had a few on my hot chocolate. Then our food arrived and every fruit fly in the room made a beeline for us. My friend couldn't eat his ham and cheese panini which got covered in fruit flies. I covered my separate bowl of chips with a lid, but when I took the lid off the whole bowl was filled with fruit flies. My other friend even moved to another table in the hope to get away from them, to no avail. I wanted to order deserts and other drinks, but we decided to escape ASAP. I complained to the lady behind the counter and she said that there was nothing she could do. Other customers had complained before they left but to no avail. I asked for the manager's number, but they took my number and the manager (Pauline) called me back. She said she knows there is a problem and she had pest control with her at that moment. I said it was unacceptable to serve food in these conditions and asked for a full refund. I said even if you don't want to refund me the money then a gift voucher to the amount will do and I will purchase flowers with it. She offered 10.00 which I refused and she said she would think about it and call me back. I called the restaurant the next day and they said she would call me, which she did not. The bill was over 22.00 and I hope the fruit flies enjoyed it. I did not and as I am recovering from cancer therapy and have been shielding it was an unpleasant experience and not one that I will repeat there. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Had lunch today at the rainbow...food fantastic as always, good prices and really lovely friendly staff!!! Nice location and lovely interior. Highly recommended...will be back soon x

Avoid eating here. Today we were waiting for the carvery and a staff member allowed a customer to pick roast potatoes from the carvery with her hands and stand there and eat them. Absolutely disgusting and filthy thing to do anytime but during covid 19 it's senseless. No hygiene standards. Used to be a good cafe but it's not worth the risk.

We visited for Sunday Lunch for a family Birthday, I was sceptical from the outside, but inside we received a warm and friendly greeting the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The lunch was to a very high standard and cooked to perfection. Great dessert choice and good size portions. I will definitely return and recommend to everyone.

We have eaten here many times and the carvery is always excellent. By far the best beef and tastiest gravy. A very enjoyable tasty meal with delicious range of desserts to choose from. Although the carvery is now £8.95 I think it is worth it as we never leave this restaurant disappointed. Highly recommend.

Best Roast Diner out in the area by a long shot. I’m pescatarian, but the kitchen brilliantly cooked for me a Vegan Wellington to go with the superb roast veggies. Looking forward to my next visit. Big thanks to cook Shelly for creating the Vegan Wellington- she did better than I could and I’ve been cooking for 20 years. Well done Rainbow!!

One of our favourite places for carvery. Always great food and friendly service. Turned up without booking and sat immediately. We both had beef which was superb but the turkey and gammon looked fab too.dessert was also lovely.

Inside the garden centre,the Rainbow restaurant/cafe serves lovely food at very realistic prices.Nice bright airy dining area on 2 levels.Selection of canned beer and small bottles of wine.Very friendly staff.

After reading the reviews on here I thought I would give it a try and wow the place and food was fantastic and not expensive either. So if you like a nice carvery don't leave it long give them a ring and book your table. I think the least said about the landscape centre and the gift shop the better as both badly let the restaurant down. I certainly would return again

First vist. Mid week Carvery food all very fresh no frozen veg all fresh , service good staff very helpful and friendly and the it was spotless clean . A place I will definitely go again

Michelle and Charlie,are a credit to this cafe...service with a smile,and very obliging...The carvery lunch was very 'homemade' which I would highly recommend and return back for...The Turkey and Pork which were available were cooked to perfection...and the homemade banoffee pie was REALLY delicious....Thank you girls

Best carvery in the area!! Staff always friendly and obliging. It is only a garden centre though, so you can’t call it fine dining. We go regularly for Sunday lunch and notice that there are many regulars!! You do need to book as it’s always busy.

First visit as passing on drive out. Only had time for tea and cake but what a lovely inviting place once inside. Staff were all pleasant, smiling and helpful. Dietary needs met when asked and we can't wait to return for a meal now we've found this little rainbows end .

Just had the most amazing Carvery at this little gem of a restaurant. Food was fabulous and the service exceptional. How did I not know about this place before? We will be back for sure!

We were not sure the restaurant was doing a carvery as it was Friday lunchtime, however they do it over the winter to around the end of March. Turkey was on the menu with a good choice of veg plus a Yorkshire pudding and cranberry sauce, we were served a generous portion of well cooked Turkey that just melted in the mouth. A variety of home made desserts followed with choices like cheesecake and toffee with ice cream or cream. The staff were friendly and helpful so we hope to revisit soon.

Al elaborar este pequeño afuera, parece insignificante. Sólo el aparcamiento lleno es un regalo como a la comida. El carvery se celebra 3 - 4 días a la semana y tengo que decir que la comida era de primera clase. Este lugar fue recomendado por la buena comida y no nos decepcionó. También tienen postres inusuales que son para morirse. Me tome mis amigos allí durante la semana para almuerzo y aunque no todo es un asador casero a las patatas fritas. Tamaño de la porción es justo sin ser glutenous. La comida es un precio estupendo con el asador aproximadamente £7. 50 por cabeza. Este es sin duda la mejor comida que he probado en mucho tiempo. Las mujeres corriendo en el lugar es cálido, amable y muy acogedor y me gusta llevar a mi familia y amigos allí y todo el mundo tiene lo encantadora, la comida es. Voy regularmente con amigos o familia para comer y recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que le guste la comida decente.

El jardín/centro de paisaje es menos que inspirador, pero ir al restaurante y le sorprendió gratamente. Buena comida a precios razonables en un entorno agradable. Hay un asador anuncian entre 12:00 y las 14:00 horas los Martes, Jueves y viernes de cada semana precio £5. 95, y los domingos más asados en £7. 95. Otras comidas, y todos presentan una excelente relación calidad-precio.

A regular carvery well worth a visit. Not too much garden centre stuff left; but the staff in the lovely restaurant are very friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced food and some interesting gifts.

Visitamos hoy después de escuchar los informes de los asados de amigos y vecinos y no nos decepcionó. Llamamos temprano el domingo como una decisión de último minuto y por suerte pudieron encajar en en la primera sesión (12. 00 - 13. 15) que era un montón de tiempo para nosotros. Llegamos allí por 12 años. 00 y nos las arreglamos para conseguir aparcado aunque el aparcamiento estaba casi lleno. El lugar estaba casi lleno, lo cual es una buena señal y había una gran cola para la comida pero que fluyó bastante rápidamente y no nos espera muy larga. Había 3 Carnes para elegir ternera, cerdo y pavo. Ambos teníamos la carne de cerdo y las dos estaban muy buenas. La carne es acompañada por las verduras habituales que estaban cocinados a nuestro gusto y una magnífica salsa felicitaciones a nosotros tan bien y lo más importante es que era agradable y caliente. Precio de £7. 95 pensamos que el asador era muy buena relación calidad-precio. El personal eran todos jóvenes que eran muy educados y confiados en su trabajo y un crédito para los propietarios. Gracias por una maravillosa comida que deberá recomendar y volver.

Organizamos para conocer nuestra excursión mensual. Después de leer los informes sobre 'Arco Iris' decidimos probar el lugar. No fue un problema, un montón de espacio. Nos llevaron a las mesas y elegimos dónde sentarse, el menú ya estaba sobre la mesa. Parecía que no había mucha variedad, pero hay una tabla de ofertas especiales. Marie fuimos para jamón, huevos y patatas fritas para la cabaña fui Tarta de verduras, había una variedad de verduras o patatas fritas. Nos trajeron las bebidas eran bastante rápido. Había que esperar un poco para la comida, pero esto no nos preocupa demasiado porque teníamos un montón de actualizarse para hacer! Comida Marie's buena pinta y ella dijo que era. La Porción de pastel fue muy generoso, se sirve con zanahorias y guisantes. Quizás un poco más de imaginación podría haber ido a la selección de verduras! Sin embargo, estaba caliente y sabrosa, ninguno de ustedes Misa del gallo fue buena relación personal. l me sorprendí gratamente cuando paga la factura, a más de 13 libras. 00. Sin duda voy a volver por un asador domingo.

Muy decepcionado con el menú, así que sólo tomamos un café, no sabían que sólo ciertas comidas en determinados días, no ha sido allí antes y sha no pensaré volver

El exterior el arco iris no es muy emocionante, pero lo que le espera en el restaurante es magnífico, la comida bien presentada calidad. Glorioso. servido por un personal atento y servicial. Fuimos a almorzar me imagino esta convirtiendo en un hábito. Precioso.

Yo y mis padres comer aquí más los domingos. El carvery es precioso. El personal es muy atento. Buena relación calidad-precio.

Debo confesar que soy un habitual aquí. El domingo asados es una excepcional relación calidad-precio y de la calidad más alta. Domingo a las 12.00 y dos turnos de trabajo bien pero mejor 1.15 en el otro si quieres. Recientemente ampliado el entorno es moderno y está impecablemente limpio. Carne es realmente excepcional y bien servido por Martin el propietario. Nunca me decepcionó. Reservar en un domingo. Durante la semana un menú menor está disponible pero muy bueno.

As a Sunday Carvery goes this is not bad at all, but still a bit canteen in a garden centre so don't expect fine dining.Still probably one of the best around and worth the extra £1 for the main in comparison with most of the poorer competition.Best Sunday roast is at home !!!!!!!!

We went for a Tuesday carvery. It was lovely. Staff friendly and helpfull.Recommend. We often go for a sunday carvery, but tried in the week and was lovely. Gets very busy and soon runs out.

We had family over from Elgin in Scotland. I rang Sunday morning to see if we could book for lunch. They kindly sorted a table for 6 adults and 2 children, The carvery was lovely. We had beef and turkey and it was lovely. Fresh vegetables cooked just as we like them. Home from home Sunday lunch.We all enjoyed our meal.

This garden centre just south of Kirton on the 'old A16) also operates a small restaurant all week, serving Carvery on a Sunday. We have always received good food and welcoming service, and use the restaurant on a regular basis.Would recommend, but you are advised to book in advance for the Sunday Carvery which is very popular.
