Incredible staff, amazing food - and beyond dog friendly! Will definitely be back

What a great place! 👌🏻 The food was delicious and more than plenty of it. We were full for hours afterwards! 😋 The staff were really friendly and helpful but they did forget a couple of things from the order. It wasn't a big issue but the attentiveness could have been a little better. 😊 Otherwise a really good experience in a lovely setting with lovely serving staff 😊👌🏻

Nice decor, average food, below average service.

Really cool atmosphere and a great space to hang out. Service was good and friendly, but a couple of things let the experience down a bit. The table was a bit wonky, which made things slightly awkward, and I was surprised to find fresh garlic in the avocado mash on my Florentine… not something that was mentioned on the menu and definitely an unexpected (and overpowering) twist for breakfast.

With a wide menu of contemporary menu items encompassing typical crowd pleasing fare and stylish and modern surrounds you can do far worse than Rail House Victoria. The Burger was particularly good. Be warned though, you need to order fries separately. Our servers operated at both ends of the service spectrum. One server audibly sighed when asked a question but another basically redefined the face of modern service standards as they serenaded a baby. Extraordinarily charming chap.

Disappointing that they only do brunch and a few expensive mains on a Saturday. Service often seemed perfunctory. No cash taken which removes consumer choice. Pleasant furnishings and airy modern vibe. Overall, a good place to meet but maybe not for a full meal.

Love Riding House café, this sister restaurant is equally as great for brunch and less packed, though coming in at the early (for brunching London) time of 10am was a great decision as it got busier later. Cliched though it is, go for the smashed avocado on sourdough. The dukka and oil lifts it several levels. Also add bacon and scrambled eggs. Their bacon is top notch. Oh, coffee is first rate too. Final touch, the maitre d is an amazing singer. His “Happy Birthday” to a nearby table was a professional level of soulful !

Tuvimos una cena aquí con un amigo que trabaja cerca. Es una buena ubicación cerca de Victoria estación de tren y autobús, así que bastante céntrico. Habíamos reservado una mesa, que recomiendo , ya que se pone muy ocupado. Durante la noche que estuvimos allí, estaba bastante ocupado y bullicioso, mucha gente, comiendo y bebiendo de las oficinas cercanas y algunas cenas previas al teatro. Tomé la Soul Burger con papas fritas y mi amigo tomó la trucha arco iris de Hampshire y la col rizada y damame estofada. Ambos eran de buena calidad, cocinado bien y muy bien presentado. El servicio era bueno con el personal de camareros siendo profesional y amable. Es un entorno moderno, dando un aspecto de café francés. Hay un 13. Cargo por servicio del 5 %. Aunque no me gustan los cargos por servicios, habríamos dado esa cantidad como propina de todos modos. Recomendaría este lugar si en el área de Victoria.

Personally, the most impressive thing that stood out about this place was the people working there. Extremely friendly, efficient, professional, and accommodating. The food, although not to my personal taste, was very fresh and well made. The cocktail list didn't have much choice. However, they do make any cocktail you require.

Had a breakfast there, ordered the Cajun stew with eggs, sourdough and bacon. It is bit spicy for breakfast imo, bu taste pretty good.

Best service I've had in a very long time. Everyone was so welcoming, kind, smiley and helpful. They made the meal perfect! Sunday roast was great and there's something for everyone on the menu!

A great spot for a late afternoon catch-up. Particularly impressed that their floor management spotted me waiting to pay at the bar and had clearly thought through a process to let customers pay at the entry - small details but ensures the whole experience was great and very prompt!

Con patatas. En absoluto ... el plato estaba magníficamente cocinado y presentado, con lados incluidos inventivo y delicioso. ¿Una disputa? Pedí la salsa en una jarra separada para evitar asfixia en la cocina, y eso no sucedió. Pero perdono... porque la salsa y la cantidad eran perfectas. Y el personal... todo excelente, en un domingo caluroso y ocupado. Ojalá todos los restaurantes de Londres fueran así de buenos, y también así de fáciles.

Great location in Victoria and ideal for transport links. Menu is breakfast heavy but has plenty of choice and veggies are made wecome. Some dishes look better than others; I had a Ham Benedict which arrived with no garnish and looked very lonely on the plate, the muffins hadn't been butterred and the Hollandaise was a little thick but the eggs were perfectly cooked, unfortunately it had been under the kitchen lights for a little longer than need be. Avocado on Toast was much the same story and Minute Steak wasn't actually visible under the fried eggs. Full Breakfast and a Corn Fritters dish looked better and desserts were reasonably good. Dishes are priced for Central London but sides are a very good earner for this restaurant. The spaces are a little cavernous but the staff are helpful, available and friendly.

We came by Rail House on a whim for some light snacks and drinks whilst waiting for a friend to join us for a belated birthday celebration and ending staying for a few hours. Lovely and comfortable outside seating on a nice day was a bonus. We ordered food and drinks using the webapp; food menu well thought out with lots of recommendations for wine pairings, if that’s your thing, non-alcoholic options plentiful. We enjoyed the selection of small plates we ordered. All our servers were fantastic, Solomon in particular was friendly and to his credit, always remained attentive to servicing the table whilst talking to us. A wonderful surprise ensued with a slice of red velvet adorned with candle and an amazing birthday song rendition by Solomon was so appreciated by our group.

A huge place yet feels very cosy. Large menu choice and great burgers! Would highly recommend booking as we visited at 6pm and was busy but never the mess we were fitted in and the customer service was exceptional!

Nos cuidaron tan bien, especialmente Salomón .. que nos recibió a su llegada y dio es una mesa tan agradable. Disfrutamos de comida a buen precio. . ambos tenían pollo en suero de mantequilla en un bollo, patatas fritas y ensalada con buenas bebidas. . y algunos pequeños caprichos. . este restaurante muy sabroso, y un ambiente encantador para cenar. lugar muy relajado. . ¡Volveremos Salomón!

Had a great experience today. Great food and the staff are exceptional and greeted us in a very welcoming manner. Excellent decaf lattes. Our waiter, Hussein, was superb and checked on us regularly. Would highly recommend the Sunday roasts and full cooked breakfasts. Veggie breakfast also very good. Will return soon. Thank you guys!

Booked the bottomless brunch menu. Venue was very good lovely atmosphere and reasonably priced food considering it was central London. However the bottomless brunch menu only covers the drink and no food which was not explained on the website or menu so just to be aware m. Otherwise a great place to visit.

Beautiful place, stunning decorations inside. Sat at the bar, which is also looking very classy and chic, super comfortable high chair. Food presentation very cute, affordable prices, staff was very experienced and looked after us very well.

I went to Rail House Victoria recently, and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is modern yet relaxed, with a stylish interior and a great buzz. It’s the kind of place that works just as well for a casual brunch as it does for evening cocktails. The menu has a great mix of options, and everything I tried was full of flavor. The brunch was especially impressive—perfectly cooked eggs, fluffy pancakes, and really good coffee. They also have an amazing selection of cocktails, which makes it a great spot for drinks with friends. The service was friendly and efficient, even though it was quite busy. The staff made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. It’s definitely one of those places I’d go back to, whether for a relaxed meal or a few drinks after work. If you’re in the Victoria area, I’d highly recommend checking it out.

I have never been asked to leave a restaurant to make space for staff training after lunchtime. At RHV, it happened. The food was great.

I visited Rail House Café in Victoria today and had a mixed but overall pleasant experience. From the moment we arrived, Solomon stood out with his warm and friendly approach. He was incredibly helpful and showed genuine concern for my mobility, ensuring I felt safe and welcomed—a level of care that made a real difference. The atmosphere was vibrant and friendly, with lovely decor that created a relaxed and stylish setting. The staff were attentive and approachable, adding to the overall positive vibe. Food-wise, the highlight was definitely the calamari—crispy, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. The braised pork also impressed with its homely, hearty flavours. However, the steak was a bit of a letdown, overly savoury and lacking balanced flavours and textures. The mac and cheese also missed the mark, lacking the depth of flavour and creamy texture you’d expect from a classic comfort dish. While I wouldn’t return for a full sit-down meal, I’d definitely come back for appetisers and drinks. The welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, and standout starters make it a great spot for a casual visit.

Very polite staff. I liked how vegetarian breakfast wasn't your usual veggie sausage , but it came with halloumi and sweetcorn crocketts. Also, I liked the beans twists as it wasn't your usual baked beans. My husband had full English and rated it very highly.

Stunning food in a great central location. Really interesting cocktail menu too! Lots of prams so very baby-friendly but probably wouldn't recommend it for toddlers/young children.

Beautiful restaurant near the Victoria Palace theater before a show. Staff was attentive and very fun (host, in particular). Food was delicious as well. Would recommend!

Had the pre theatre menu 3 courses for £25. Limited choice but perfect for us. Artichoke dip with parmesan and sour dough to start..Roasted cauliflower with red dhal for main lovely but very salty, steak cooked perfectly and doughnuts for dessert amazing. 4pm to 6pm certain cocktails are £6.50 and some wine £5.00. Great food, staff and atmosphere..Will definitely return for the main menu

Lovely atmosphere and great decor. We stopped in for coffee and teas, the menu had a lot of choices. Only thing I would say is that the toilet signs are not that obvious, I wasn't sure which door to use as the images have faded, a couple of letters (F/M) wouldn't be a bad idea.

Great Service and Food is delicious

I was told "kitchen is now closed" at 2.45pm on a Sunday. I pointed out that the café closing time was 7pm and I was told that "it doesn't matter". Went to a local competitor instead and, shocker, they were still serving food.

Had such a lovely birthday here! Food was delicious (I had the whole vegan tasting menu and it was delightful), but even better was the amazing service from Solomon - who quite literally sung me a whole solo rendition of happy birthday in the most divinely angelic voice. He was utterly fabulous and made our experience even more special than it already was!

100% recommend coming here for brunch or lunch when in London! Djeli and Solomon looked after us, first with a friendly welcome, then plenty of adaptability when we needed to move tables with my son spontaneously joining us. The food was tasty and quick to arrive. Very big appreciation for heated plates which meant our meals stayed warm while we chatted. Thank you for this relaxed moment as a family in your welcoming and delicious restaurant. :)

Boring and dull. Food was bland and tasteless. Sauce was thick enough to be custard. Had to ask for condiments for my sausages which I had almost finished by the time they arrived. Atmosphere is what you would expect for a chain place. Don't expect anything unique .... Don't even expect too much.

Pedí un pollo con algún tipo de pastel pero estaba súper seco y no húmedo y el pollo estaba matando picante. El café estaba bueno, pero la comida necesita mejorar y lo más importante que servir, el chef necesita probar lo que está cocinando antes de enviar a la mesa.

Went in at 10am on a Sunday. No more than a dozen people there and was told it was reservations only. Clearly thinks of itself as better than it is.

Went for dinner yesterday and this is such a fantastic place for a delicious meal! The food was great but the staff are really what made it a perfect evening. They were just so lovely and helpful. Fully recommend

The decor was okay, but the food was expensive and tasteless. The service charge was much too high for the average customer experience. Therefore, cannot recommend.

I was so excited to visit this place, having been recommended it, and I have to say it did not disappoint! The food was great (we particularly enjoyed the fish and chips, and pavlova) and the drinks were great - I had a mocktail and didn't feel like I was missing out. But the night was made even more special by the service - particularly from Solomon, who greeted us so warmly and continued to be a wonderful, sparkling presence throughout the evening. Thank you so much to the whole team, but especially Solomon - please never change!! We look forward to visiting again! ☺️

We loved the decor and cosy yet vibrant atmosphere. We had the vegan set menu and it was such a treat - a real celebration of modern healthy plant based food. I hope RHC continues to offer a vegan menu and we will become regulars ! Francisco our waiter was engaged and helpful and friendly. And the restaurant manager is a total sweetie and so passionate about his profession and his place of work. A real treat and highly recommend.

Nice atmosphere but the food was disappointing. Maybe it was a bad selection on my part but chopped salad was underwhelming, halloumi and broccoli portions were tiny and the grilled cauliflower was extremely salty. Could have cooked better myself.

Quick Saturday lunchtime, ate upstairs. Very good service and friendly staff. Well prepared and presented food. Highly recommended.

After being rudely turned away from Timmy Green on the basis of having too many prams (2 by the way), we decided to try The Rail House Café—and I’m so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, Aaron greeted us with warmth and made sure we were well taken care of. He went out of his way to ensure the kids were comfortable, which made all the difference. The service here is exceptional, and the atmosphere is far superior to what we experienced elsewhere. The staff are genuinely welcoming, attentive, and accommodating, creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. Whether you’re dining with kids or not, I highly recommend choosing The Rail House Café. It’s a place that truly values its customers, and we’ll definitely be returning! Also, the schnitzel and creamed corn were delicious.

I can’t recommend this place enough. Solomon, the host, was exquisite and really made my trip to London that much better. The food was excellent. The service was timely and attentive, but not overbearing. The atmosphere was stellar! The bathrooms were very clean and chic, along with the bar area was trendy and upbeat. I was the first customer on a Sunday morning, and I was the only one for about 20 minutes then it picked up. I went without a reservation, as they have a lot of space, but for more of a lunch time I would suggest a reso. Thanks for a wonderful meal!

Went here on a Sunday to meet my cousin. The Sunday roast was good, but quite pricey. The salmon royale (muffin) was cheaper but horrendous, and felt I could have the same quality at Wetherspoons. Muffin was dry, nothing much on the plate and little to be desired. Restaurant needs to streamline and rethink menu and prices. Service slightly slow when busy but acceptable.

Nipped in for a quick bite before our train. Relaxed, dim lighting vibe. We had Soul Burger and Feta salad with halloumi from the new menu - all very tasty. Burger - £15.80 (£6 more to add chips).

Ate outside here in the summer, decent food and not too pricey.

I visited London with my mother last October and want to leave a glowing review for the Rail House. The food was delicious, and vibe in the restaurant was superb. The atmosphere was cosy and vibrant and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. We were made to feel very welcome and our suitcases were held for us in the luggage store whilst we ate and relaxed. We were doing a spot of sightseeing before a long journey back to Wales. The staff offered to keep our luggage in the hold whilst we explored Westminster. My mother has some mobility problems and this made such a difference for her in that we were able to move about without lugging suitcases. Her last day was made much more enjoyable. I would like to thank the staff for their kindness in doing this. It made our day! We came back to the restaurant early evening before leaving London and had another delicious meal! The menu was original and healthy. Again, the atmosphere was great and it rounded off our trip superbly! Aside from the great food, having staff who are so attentive and mindful is something you should be very proud of! To show genuine kindness in this way just goes to show the calibre of people that are working at the Rail House. Thank you again! If we are ever in London again we will be sure to come back! A huge 5 stars from us 😊

New year outing was a disappointment The red ribbon offer was not worth what’s on offer as it was less than what you pay for We opted to go for the menu We ordered a Scallop for starter .. we only got 1 ONE on a plate for £10 😳 main course we ordered one Cod and one burger they don’t come with anything NO POTATO OR VEG OR CHIPS OR SALAD … prices for cod £21 and burger £15 Never again Oh we forgot to get a doggie bag

A place with chairs and tables that are completely different from each other but that at the same time combine perfectly with the cozy and pleasant atmosphere, good cocktails, good food, excellent service especially from Djeli the service was amazing

I visited the Rail House on the 21st of December with a group of friends. The food, atmosphere and service were great. Solomon, the gentleman at the door, was fantastic. He made our already lovely afternoon memorable by helping us capture our annual Christmas get-together by taking some beautiful photographs. Thank you.

Breakfast at Rail House Victoria was exactly what we needed to get a busy day in London started off on the right foot. We were immediately seated by a lovely host, and started off with mimosas and coffees while looking at the menu. We ordered the smashed avocado and chard Benedict, the Burgerdict, avocado toast and bacon and halloumi sides. Portions are not that large so our server recommended that we go for the larger size Benedicts - a recommendation we appreciated as the larger portions were just right and all of our food was perfectly prepared and really tasty. We can highly recommend this wonderful spot. Next time we'll also include a few malted deep dish pancakes...

Went with some friends. The place is really good. The food as well. Prices not that crazy. We were seated upstairs which was great (not lots of people) but that also mean a bit of a slower service. In any case I’d recommend anyone to try it and even go myself again (if upstairs, downstairs seems too loud/crowded).

Fue un gesto muy dulce. También nos encantó descubrir que a pesar de una escasez aparentemente global, el restaurante tenía Guinness en el grifo. Una experiencia positiva en general.

Wandered in to the Railhouse when journeying around London and what a let down. Service was Hot and Cold either all over you or as we experienced Sat down then never asked for more drinks for the whole hour of the experience. Food is overpriced and tiny portions, salad ordered was literally tipped from the salad bag into a bowl and all meals very tasteless and bland. Sadly will not be adding this to our list in future I Unless it’s the ‘avoid’ and don’t let this ruin the day.

Had a lovely and delicious weekday brunch with friends. Was warmly welcomed and enjoyed the delicious veggie options - and possibly the best Bloody Mary of my life! Highlight of the meal was being serenaded by one of the staff members Solomon. Beautiful voice to finish our lovely meal.

Well recommended; met and served by friendly staff and very impressed with the food selection. I had the veggie breakfast and was pleased with both the quality of food and the quantities. Ambience nice and would suggest this if arriving into Victoria. Just a short 2 minute stroll from the station.
