Mi hijo me llevó aquí para mi cumpleaños, era nuestra primera vez en Gauchos y es seguro decir que no será la última.El personal era amable, educado, servicial y muy profesional con su servicio y conocimiento para explicar los diferentes cortes de carne disponibles.El ambiente era muy relajado. Lo recomendaría encarecidamente que visite este restaurante.

La consiglio vivamente un bellissimo posto con una vista bellissima sulla tower bridge il cibo ottimo, ottima selezione di vini argentini, personale top, ancor di più il manager di altissimo livello e professionalità. Dopo pranzo ci siamo fermati anche a bere e si è stati davvero bene sarà la prima cosa che faccio quando torno a Londra davvero ottimo.

He estado comiendo en los restaurantes gaucho en Londres durante años y solía ser mi favorito. Yo tenía una reserva para cenar el sábado pasado para tratar mi madre pre-teatro y llegamos temprano, así que pensé que tendríamos una primera copa en el bar. El tío en la puerta del bar era muy presumido y nos metieron en un lúgubre rincón donde los muebles estaba raspado y rasgada. Nadie vino a servirnos, así que después de 15 minutos nos cancelaron nuestra reserva de la cena y deje y fui a otro mucho mejor para la cena. Todavía me gusta el Gaucho - en Canary Wharf es super con un personal encantador, pero no volveré a este hotel.

Tenía un ojo steak verdaderamente fabuloso de costilla aquí el pasado jueves y puedo decir honestamente que fue uno de los mejores que he probado. Antes de pedir un camarero viene todo el año y explica el menú y después produce en un plato a elegir entre todos los bistecs, luego ordenar la corte que quieras y el tamaño y por supuesto cómo quieres cocinado. Aunque los bistecs eran fabulosos, las patatas fritas y otros platos de acompañamiento eran igualmente excelente, ya que de hecho eran los vinos. Considerando que hay 4 pisos con más de 400 comensales y el lugar estaba totalmente lleno, el servicio era increíblemente atento y rápido. Mi esposa me encantó el Malbec puerto tanto que compró una botella después y también unas cuantas botellas de esta deliciosa Malbec Rose. Incluso tienen una terraza en la azotea para disfrutar de un humo después y en general un restaurante y una visita obligada para los amantes de la carne. El único inconveniente era su comida no es barato (para 2 con 150 libras) adornos pero teniendo en cuenta la ubicación, calidad y ambiente alta, etc. que había una buena relación calidad-precio. El único aspecto realmente negativo fue el restaurante era un poco oscura para mi gusto, sobre todo en la entrada, pero algo más a la atmósfera.

Non spaventatevi, entrando in questo strano ristorante argentino, per il buio quasi totale che trovate entrando... effettivamente non capisco perché vogliano risparmiare sulla luce... ma forse è una moda, perché ho trovato la stessa mania in altre parti del mondo... Il ristorante è disposto su tre piani, affollati in modo incredibile, ma non dovete spaventarvi, l'organizzazione è perfetta, non faranno aspettare più del solito. (La prenotazione qui è ultra-obbligatoria!) La carne è strepitosa, come noi in Italia non troviamo più da decenni! Cotta come Dio comanda e abbondante, come pretende un vero carnivoro! Il prezzo, ahimè... questa è la portata più indigesta di tutto il menu! Eh sì, se la fanno pagare la qualità... ma, se si vuol fare un'esperienza così azzeccata, un sacrificio economico lo si può fare, una volta tanto... Gianni di Bologna

Nos lo habían recomendado para comer aquí por algunos amigos, y sin duda esto era una buena elección de lugar para ir. El ambiente era muy bueno y sorprendente este restaurante es grande, distribuidas en 3 plantas. La selección de carnes era muy amplia y variada, y, cuando llegó, fue sin duda uno de los mejores bistecs que he probado jamás. Para ser justos, también fue uno de los más caros que he comido demasiado!Decepcionante que todos los platos son extras opcionales, así que se comienzan a pongas bastante una factura en la cima si quieres comer algo más que a mitad de una vaca.La elección de Malbec era abundante y era simplemente combinan perfectamente con la carne. La comida no era toda prisa, el servicio era excelente y una experiencia agradable. Una cara bastante comida cuando todo está dicho y hecho, pero me alegro de haber experimentado. habría sido mejor si todavía no la danza en las mesas.

l'ambiance est chic mais je trouve que c'est très cher pour ce que c'est. la viande est super car c'est du boeuf argentin. ça se corse ensuite car tout est payant comme les frites qui ne sont pas extraordinaires et la sauce plutôt fade pour une viande aussi bonne.

Ambiente raffinato in stile argentino.Ottima scelta di carne , i vari tagli di carne sono presentati su un tagliere , la scelta del taglio giusto viene molto facilitata.Carne molto buona e ben cotta. We chose this restaurant as it was highly recommended in our London guidebook. We arrived around 6 pm on a Saturday evening. The foyer was packed! Because we didn't have a reservation, we were told the soonest we could be seated was 10 pm that evening. We decided to make a reservation for the following evening. We arrived the next evening at our reservation time and were seated immediately. The staff was very friendly, gracious and professional. The atmosphere was elegant. The pace of the service was just right and the food was exceptionally good. The next time we go to London, we're making reservations in advance!

We have eaten many times in London, and expect to get a great meal, especially if you pay top prices. We were staying at the Apex Hotel nearby and stumbled across Gaucho. It looked very chic, and when we called in to book a table, we were greeted very professionally and made to feel as though our custom was appreciated.We arrived for our meal at 7.30 pm, and the restaurant was pretty quiet. The lighting is very dim, and it is a little struggle to see the menu, prices are even more difficult to spot! Our waiter, Will, was extremely pleasant, attentive and helpful. He brought their steak selection on a board and gave an explanation of each cut and how best it should be served. Let's start with the wine. There was a very expensive winelist with bottles from £45 to £200, and there was the standard winelist, cheapest bottle £30 going up to £75, and all Argentinian, which I have drunk on a number of occassions, and was looking forward to what I thought would be an excellent bottle at £37 for a Don David Cab Sauv, which I have subsequently found retails at £9 and was therefore a whopping 400% mark up from the retail price! The wine was OK, but not great.On to the food. My wife ordered a Pork and Chorizo sausage served with a grilled red pepper. This was quite a nice dish, although I have to say, it should be, it's a sausage and a pepper. I ordered Lamb sweetbreads served on a potato salad with a mustard dressing. The sweetbreads were really well cooked but drowned in mustard to the extend that this delicate meat was completely overpowered.Next the steaks, their speciality, so these should be great? Yes? No! My wife ordered a fillet medallions cooked medium, they were probably medium rare, but with the lighting you could not really tell. She felt the flavour was good, but her side dishes of crushed potatoes were overly smoky and her peas and bacon side were swimming in a watery sauce that was tasteless.My steak was their 500g spiral rib of beef apparently slow cooked in chimmichurri sauce. I was expecting, therefore something with the meat falling apart, but on the contrary got a very fatty piece of meat which was nicely cooked on the outside with a nice flavour from the sauce, but inside was again undercooked. There were no steak knives and my first knife wouldn't cut the meat, they did bring me another, which to be fair was easier to use. I did manage to eat a fair bit of it by hacking away until I found tender pieces. By this time, Will was aware that we were unhappy with the food, and asked if we would like a complimentary dessert, but only chocolate and ginger tart. My wife declined, but I had it. It was not a tart, but an oval lump of solid ganache which was revolting. The ice cream, tuille and ginger sauce, however, were delightful.Realising by now that this was a mistake from start to finish, we had a quick coffe and left, £153 lighter!!In summary, this place is busy, lots of people must like it, but we found it pretentious, highly overpriced, and their chefs are poor.

My husband and I went here for Valentines Day and I was very disappointed. While the hostess did correct the mistakes, this hip, chic steakhouse underwhelmed and under delivered. Expensive food--starting at about 30+ pounds for a steak, all a la carte. My steak was ordered well done, it came barely cooked. I sent it back and the hostess came and said she stands by their steaks and to give them 4 minutes to correct it. The steak came back the second time still not cooked. My husband's filet mignon was butterflied and he didn't request it that way. Third time was a charm, (I requsted completely new steaks as three times to recook a steak was not acceptable). It was tasty and as I expected it to be the first time. I thank the hostess for correcting a very bad first impression but I do feel that a steakhouse should get a steak right the first time.

Fancy, classy place. Complained about the table being too small for 8 people, and got another table. Waiter was difficult to understand, even after we asked him to speak slowly. Good to show us the different kind of meats before we ordered. Had only time for main course before theatre. Several of us thought the meat was cooked too much. Tasted good.

From the first greeting to our final goodbye the service, food and ambience was perfect. Attentive staff, good wine, delicious steaks and a reasonable price. I haven't told you how much we paid because the amount of wine we chose to drink made it an unusual bill

Not the cheepest place to go for a steak, but certainly one of the best! We went as a biRthday treat and it was worth the money. The waiter wa great,spoke in spanish when we tried ours on him, he knew about the food and advised us well when we asked him about things. The steaks were wnderful and cooked exactly to our asking. Very tender and hugely tasty! One tip, they ask you if you wnt sauce with the stake as if it come with it, but then you get a ill for 3pound per sauce. I thought that was a little naughty, for we would not have had the sauce, as the steak was so good you did not need it! Would go back again, and would certainly take friends.

This restaurant is always busy, been here a few times and had to book a table well in advance. It makes you come back as the food is so delicious! Staff looks very well trained, they show you the meat before you make your choice and mention all the details about how each and every steak was cut and prepared. It almost feels like they are ”programmed” to do so, and only this way. One waiter shows you the table, another takes the order, third one brings the plates and fourth one brings you a bill… No personal touch and it feels.As for the food – it is really fantastic! There are quite many options on the menu, but taking a steak is almost a must here. Among those which I tried, the rib-eye is the absolute winner! You should definitely try broccoli, spinach and tomato salad from the side dishes – the portions are quite small – just a perfect size not to make you too full.

Being a Texan, we are serious about our steaks and we were not disappointed at Gaucho. The food was great. The ambiance, however, was not as good if you are looking for a 'quieter' meal. We were seated next to the cooking area where we could watch the chefs prepare the steaks and next to a table of SCREAMING women. We had to yell to speak with or hear one another. It was a good meal but we were ready to leave as soon as the meal was finished.

Siempre había una cola en la entrada de esta cafetería, así que pensé en intentarlo dada la reciente noticia de que Black Sheep los había capturado. Mocha suave y encantadora, sin sabor amargo, y una generosa porción de pastel de zanahoria, ¡que fue excelente!

We were given this afternoon tea as a present. The menu for the afternoon tea looks good... but fails to deliver. "Mini brioche and sandwiches Ham, cheddar and mustard Chicken and pesto Cucumber, crème fraiche and smoked salmon Egg mayonnaise and cress." What we actually got was four very small squares of sandwich each, consisting of just the smoked salmon and the egg mayonnaise. Some small cakes as described and a scone. Some of the bread was not the freshest we've ever had, not stale, just not as soft as fresh bread. We were only offered one cup of tea or coffee. Every other afternoon tea we've had at other venues at least offered us additional drinks. It's not as if the place was busy, there were only a few occupied tables. As for atmosphere and ambiance, there was none, especially as the cleaner was hoovering around us and then using a floor polisher.

Had very pleasant evening at Pashamana. All of the dishes were excellent, with the exception of the spare ribs which were overly greasy. The octopus was the most tender I’ve ever tasted, aubergine was full of flavour, sea bass ceviche excellent. Margaritas were great. I’d like to see more South American wine on the menu, quite a lot of French and Italian, although the Aussie cab sauv we had was very nice. Atmosphere is buzzy without being too loud. Overall excellent, will return.
