Quick Eat in Worthing

I was waiting to be served for nearly 20 mins. 4 people were served before me, and 3 of those came in after me. I wouldn't of minded so much, but it's like I wasn't there. I have used them quite a lot, but probably won't again.

The food is so good especially the Chicken Burgers those are amazing I don’t understand the negative reviews They have definitely improved through the years and is one of my go to restaurants

Cannot understand the negative reviews, we have used Quick Eats several times, including tonight. Felt the quality and service was excellent. Better than a KFC for the chicken. Well done guys!

turned up late fried chicken was rank, dripping in grease first and last meal from quick eat cold chips was the only edible bit

Waited 45 minutes for food. Two people came and got their food. Asked how long my food would be and got a don’t know response. Refunded me without question. Weird. .

I have visited Quickeat many times, and apart from two occasions involving staffing and professionalism, have found the food and service fine. The milkshakes are the big draw for me, and they please more tastes with a wide range of fast food. However, the one drawback has been their speed. I ordered through just eat, order confirmed 7.30pm, delivery estimated 30 minutes. My order was estimated, however, to be 90 minutes - 9pm. I was not in a huge rush, and although it was probably too late to eat, I'll let the 90 minute lead time go given Xmas is around the corner. I rang at 9.30, asking why my order had taken 2 hours. They were very busy, then made the mistake of revealing my order was next to be cooked. So they hadn't even started my order, 2 hours after placing it! I was told it would be a further 25 minutes. Burgers, chips, and milkshakes, a small straightforward order under £20. Nothing complicated. The food arrived at 10pm, a full 2 and a half hours after I placed my order. The food was OK, but the delay and late eating time left a bitter taste in the mouth. This is still a relatively young takeaway, catering to a wide range of tastes, it looks modern, and you want to be positive. That becomes difficult if they are closed when they are meant to be open, or argue behind the counter, while under the weight of customers, phone orders, and online orders. Then fob off clientele with a 150 minute wait! You can do better Quick eat.

We fancied some fish and chips to eat that night and didnt want to venture far from where we were staying, and we werent allowed to take food back to our room, so the search began; The first pub we came to didnt have any cod, so we carried on past the first proper Fish and Chip shop, which had only just started up the fryers plus did not have anywhere to eat within, so our journey continued. The next pub we came to, did have fish on the menu, but the portion size was small. Then we spied 'Quick Eat', with tables and chair across the road, and as we were now hungry, ventured in. The guy behind the counter put down his phone and made himself available to take our order, he was friendly and helpful, and when the food was ready bought it to our table. The fish (in batter) was very tasty, as was the fish cake. However, the chips themselves leaved a little to be desired and had a slightly strange flavour. Maybe the oil used wasnt hot enough, as they werent crispy. Overall, an Ok experience, and im sure things will improve with the 'new management'.

Food ordered for delivery at 10:15, called them at 10:35 and was told it would be with us in 5 minutes. Eventually arrived 25 minutes later. Food was awful, even my cat turned his nose up at the fish - clearly reheated (probably more than once) and badly burnt. Chips were almost cold, greasy and very unpleasant. Would not recommend this place, even for pet food.

Chips are so on point. Long thin and full of potato. I love it here because it reminds me of my home in worthing. I love it. The chicken is definitely the greatest chicken in the south coast of worthing. I take my first born child here every birthday and he LOVES it, he always says dad when are gonna go back and I have to tell him soon son, hold on tight, chicken will be coming your way before you know it. He is 25 now and loves being that age and he also loves quick eat. I hope he takes his first born there one day!!!!

Ordered via Dilveroo. Estimated time was 45 minutes. Food actually took an hour and a half. Arrived luke warm and not that nice.

Was not quick at all nd did not get my order right ad to take my kids back over there coz they got it wrong would paid a bit more nd get a meal that’s delivered nd the right order will not go back there again the should name it slow eat or wrong eat

I popped in to buy a portion of chips which I had to wait 20 minutes for. I assumed these would be really fresh but I was mistaken! The chips were either not cooked or way to crispy. They had absolutely no taste! Horrible

Had our first take away from here, ordered online through Just Eat. Very pleased hadn't read the reviews on trip advisor first as wouldn't have ordered. Both of us chose Tower burgers which came with salad, mayo, hash browns and French fries, onion rings and two cans of drink.... .....the food arrived exactly on time ( you get delivery slots) was hot, and very enjoyable. Not greasy and a very nice tender filet of chicken, Delivery guy was polite and hoped we enjoyed our food. Based on our experience we would definitely order from here again.

We ordered via just eat on a Sunday eve. The delivery time displayed an hours wait. That was then updated to an hour and half. That's excessive for any takeaway and it's named Quick Eat!?! Food then arrived late and every item was cold. The chip shop style chips were undercooked, some chewy, some hard. Clearly they weren't anywhere near fresh. The burger patties were poor quality, very thin and contained gristle lumps. I suspect they were deep fried as they certainly were not chargrilled and therefore tasteless. The salad was very basic lettuce and onion. Onion rings were the cheapest quality breaded version and over cooked as were the mozzarella sticks. Our long awaited meals were picked at, complained about and binned. We won't be ordering from there again and cannot recommend it. There are so many good burger takeaways and chip shops in Worthing. Sadly Quick Eat isn't one of them.

We ordered from here using the just eat app last night. My daughter ordered chicken nuggets which she has actually had before in the past. She hadn't really eaten anything much else other than fruit and veg in the day which is why I am so certain that at 2.30ish am when she was violently throwing up everywhere that it must have been the chicken. It was literally like the exorcist!!! I'll cut this review short as actually I've tried contacting the just eat app and the 'restaurant' itself....but no replies so far....basically I've taken a day off work (unpaid) and my daughter has been really really unwell all day. She hasn't been this unwell since she was 10 months old. (She is now 10....so a very healthy child) It is devastating. Needless to say we won't be ordering food from this place again. Perhaps it was a 'bad batch' but really for a food business this is unacceptable. Stay away!

We generally have a good service from this place and we often go here when we want a takeaway! Unfortunately online orders weren't working today so we called instead, I cannot believe how awfully we were treated on the phone! We asked for a bacon cheese burger meal which was ordered fine but we then asked for a sausage and chip meal and the reply we got was "no no no no no, can't do that for you" the line then went dead! He had hung up on us, he was rushing us when we ordered too! When we called back to explain our annoyance at this, he did not answer the phone! This is not how you treat customers or anyone for that matter! Avoid!

Despite being open for some time, this place has not been on TripAdvisor. You would assume that a new restaurant/takeaway would want promotion on TA. Having now eaten there, I can see why they maybe don't want any comments.
