Really friendly staff, especially good for disabled access. Nice food, lovely garden/terrace. Exactly what you want in a local.

i’m sorry to say I can only give this pub a negative review because when I visited and ordered two meals for £19 each I was charged £22 each. I didn’t understand what has happened until I’d already paid. When I pointed this out, the manager was not at all apologetic and ended up by only giving back part of the money. He said he couldn’t give us the full amount for some reason, but he did not even give offer us a free dessert instead, which would’ve been better than nothing. Also, the risotto when we got it was an incredibly small portion, something we expect as a starter. We are not people who are used to eating larger than normal amount. This restaurant is near where my cousin lives and it was recommended to us. Needless to say we won’t return and we will pass the word to other relatives, staying at my cousins house.

I have been here many times - always a great pub and nice food. This time i ordered fish and chips and it the batter was so soaked in oil that it was not edible. A colleague also felt the same and we both left the batter. When the plates were collected no one asked if the meal was OK. Overall a far worse experience than i have had previously. I cant say there is a link, but i did feel a little sick some hours later. I will return but wont eat here.

This was our first visit to the Queen's Head even though we live very locally. From the time we were first greeted on arrival the whole experience was amazing. Lovely atmosphere, charming attentive staff and incredible food. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back.................. very soon! :)

Disgusting establishment. The manager Francesca is a racist and was extremely rude and dismissive. Treats her employees horrifically, no wonder they look like they don’t want to be there. Food was semi-average. I had higher expectations for an establishment situated in such a lovely area. AVOID.

Surprisingly large pub. Good service, loads of space, they also have an outdoor area. Worth checking out!

Having read on Google that you can get a good Sunday roast here, I was disappointed. I had the roast pork. It arrived suspiciously speedily after ordering. The 2" cube of pork was OK, but was tepid and served with some gravy with a film on top in a small jug, the crackling was rubbery and inedible, the two roast potatoes were soggy, and one each of the vegetables were overcooked and tasteless. I left half the food on my plate. The dessert of sticky toffee pudding took 15 minutes to arrive after ordering; it was light but with very little sticky toffee and the accompanying salted ice cream was about the size of a golf ball. The atmosphere was very noisy - the pub seems to be where parents with lots of loud screaming children under 5 years old seem to gather. I would not recommend going here for Sunday lunch.

Have been going to this pub for years before moved countries. Came back—and it only got better! What a rare case! The food is really good, the people are absolutely amazing and the entire atmosphere is totally great, very cosy, very warm. Will be coming again and again ☺️ They also have a huge beer garden which is perfect for larger parties 😀

Recently had dozen of us for a Christmas dinner party. Known pub for over 40 years was always good food. Unfortunately now found food no better than average on most dishes from set menu (beef was good though)other choices of 3 course meals were no more than mediocre .One main dish came 5 minutes after the first 11 with no explanation or apology. Deserts so so .Drinks pricey and service a little terse in manner and attitude. Was busy but a good atmosphere which was its one redeeming feature. Give this venue a miss on special occasions if I was you. Got a reply from the manager with explanation and defence for issues, unfortunately in her whole hearted defence reminded me the service was even less than I remember especially when I spoke to others in the group. I obviously have been going longer than their other patrons and my sister has been going there for over 50 years!

Awful place. It's not a pub, it's a restaurant (hence there being no comfortable chairs) and from what I hear the food isn't up to much. The last time I went there my friends ordered an alcohol freeGuinness and the bar man just gave them a couple of cans and glasses, charming. After my most recent visit I won't be going there again.

I came for lunch with my sister & her family on Boxing Day. We were in 7 & were welcomed very warmly with great friendly & prompt service. Didn’t get a chance to try the hot gin but the mulled wine was delicious! Four of us ordered the “meat pie”, which was steak & ale served on a bed of tasty & fluffy mash & really tasty cabbage. The pie was exquisite! The crust so tender & flavor some & just the right texture & thickness. The filling was incredibly rich but delicate at the same time! I have never eaten such a delicious pie in all my life & I probably never will!!!! You must try it! I can’t wait to return to London to eat it again!!!!

It was my 61st birthday, which I stated at the time of booking. We thought we’d come to the Queen’s Head in Brook Green after 20+ years, when we used to live in W14 West Kensington. We met up with my daughter who now lives there. We were waiting for quite a while before we could place our order, after which we waited an hour for our dinner. A few of our meals were luke warm to cold, particularly the chips, and even my most expensive £32 12oz sirloin steak. I should have reported it earlier, but said nothing till the end, and they didn’t charge us for the drinks. No apologies. We drove away as quickly as we could to our daughter’s flat, where we had our tea and birthday cake.

We had such a wonderful and very special afternoon at The Queens Head for our Resident's Annual Christmas Lunch. Francesca and Michael were absolutely phenomenal and made everyone so very welcome and the Christmas Food was really fantastic, with such an excellent choice available including all of the classic dishes and also brilliant vegetarian and vegan choices as well. All of the bar staff and kitchen staff at the Queens Head worked so very hard from start to finish at serving us all of the food and drinks and they really went the extra mile to give us such a memorable day. Thank you all so much!! We are so grateful for all of your kindness and we cannot wait to see you all again next week. Have a really wonderful Christmas and all the very best for 2024. Nice pub. But very loud crowd the night I visited. It made conversation impossible.

We had a Sunday roast for my friend's surprise birthday. Lovely atmosphere and Staff, and great food and coffee.

Great place for beer, didn’t try the food but good location and good selection of beer

I am absolutely shocked at the service we got this weekend. The staff were rude, they got food and drinks orders wrong, they hadn’t cleared the tables for our reservation, and when we tried to talk to them about the service, they doubled down on the rude behaviour and didn’t apologise. This used to be a nice pub but maybe the staff has changed. There are plenty of other nice pubs in the area - do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

The place looks very Christmasy even though it's November and I love it. Food is overpriced, and tastes quite bland.

Absolutely wonderful Fish and Chips!!

Always offering good pub-type cuisine with great service and a wide selection of lagers. Although I'm not a local, whenever I'm near Brook Green and crave pub grub or a pint, The Queen's Head is my top choice.

This is a nice, big pub. It always seems to be quiet when I've been there on a Friday evening and the staff are friendly enough.

I don't know what happened to this place. It used to be one of the best pubs in the area. In the past several weeks, something apparently went very wrong with the kitchen. Hour-long delays, major menu items not available, with waiter telling us only half an hour after we ordered them, abysmally bad vegetarian option (Sri Lankan curry - way too salty with an old, half-dried lump of rice). I used to proudly bring visitors to this place. Now it is just embarrassing.

Staff were friendly, nice place, but either the mackerel or greens seem to have given me food poisoning.

Lovely staff, and lots of cozy little tables. But the place was a little sticky and smelly, but that could have been just the day I was there.

Horrible management. If you call them for 10 people. Expect to get 4 chairs. Also bad food.

We made a reservation for 38 people and after coming on time the staff said that even after making a reservation it’s normal for guests to simply not get a chair to sit. Imagine booking a hotel to sleep at and the staff asks you: “well its normal not to get a bed”. Absolutely ridiculous! Don’t come here.

My wife and I just had the finest chicken burger we've eaten so far in the lovely garden at the Queens' head. I used to live nearby 20+ years ago and over the last few days as a mixture of studio work and family we stayed locally. We lunched at the Queens head on the last day and I was thrilled to find it even better than i remember - Smart, clean, bright and with the wondeful garden I'd spent many a Friday night / Sunday afternoon in as a younger man. That though is just furniture, what makes a pub is the staff and they couldnt have been friendlier or more welcoming. Then came the food - I have been lucky enough to travel ( and eat ) all over the world, but the buttermilk chicken burger with bacon jam and home-pickled red onions was right up there as a true highlight - one of those things that just stops you in your tracks and makes you realise how wonderful a simple food can be in the right hands . I ended up shaking hands with the owner and then excellent chef who made it - I perfect way to round off a trip down memory lane. If you read this, don't hesitate - this pub is excellent on all things that truly matter.

Bellissimo pub vicino ad Hammersmith. Personale gentile e servizio veloce. Cibo pessimo. Porzioni piccole. Pochissima scelta per vegetariani e vegani. Prezzi altissimi.

Nice pub but it was more than 10 quid for a glass of house white (?!?!?!). What has the world come to.

Great pub with a good selection on draught. Food was great too. The pie of the day was steak and ale, it couldn't be faulted.

We visited for lunch in the spacious garden which was surprisingly busy for mid-week.   I ordered from the Specials Menu a Risotto with Pan Fried Sea Bass - it was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. I would definitely order that again if it is on the menu. Michael and Mike provided friendly and helpful service. Overall it was a brilliant lunch experience.

Loved coming here but our last experience wasn't great. The manager?(bald hobbling guy) was rude to us over a spilled beer. Ordering system is confusing and table service is non existent on the rear patio. Used to love their fish&chips but this time it wasn't as great. No kids menu.

The roast dinner was very average, not something that would make you come back.

NOT CHILD FRIENDLY! Food and the overall atmosphere were good, and we were having a good time until it was completely spoiled by a single member of staff. We were a group of families with children (aged 3-9) in the garden area for the Sunday lunch. Kids were playing in the middle amongst themselves when the adults were eating at the tables next to them. Completely not disruptive to other customers as all other groups were quite spaced out (though maybe in the way of the waiters/waitresses walking pass). Suddenly a member of staff shouted at the kids loudly, telling them not to play around and throw the ball as this is a pub garden and people are drinking, and just walked away! (the ball was soft, smaller than a tennis ball and they were not throwing far at all that would cause them to run around, definitely not to other people’s tables). Kids and adults were absolutely shocked! If we were inside the restaurant, then of course we wouldn’t let the kids play around, but that’s why we picked the outdoor area. If it was an inconvenience to other people or disruptive to the pub, this member of staff could have told the parents/kids in a much nicer manner. It was definitely a tone that I would NOT expect in a service industry, let alone kids. So please don’t advertise your kids menu if you do like kids or families at your pub. You will never our business again.

This is a very nice pub which is deceptively large and has a nice garden. The staff were friendly and the service was prompt. As always with a Fuller's pub you know what you are getting. The ambience was very pleasant and its an all round good spot.

The menu is getting very expensive

A lovely lunch out with the colleagues. Portion sizes for the pie was smaller than expected but very delicious. Warm brownie at the end had to be the highlight of the meal!

Food was appalling. Sunday roast potatoes cold. Had to ask for hot ones. Crab burgers were disgusting. Overpriced for what they tried to do. Eat somewhere else!

I hate a pub that has a ton of stupid rules. Closing off and cleaning the main toilets early in the night (unprofessional) and leaving one female toilet, but 3 urinals and a toilet for the men, nice! And yet the toilets were filthy all night too. I've never seen so many flies in a pub, hundreds - it was mental. And full of kids running around all evening too. You can't serve last orders and then not provide plastic cups to us/let us finish our drinks.. If you are missing a load of glasses, have a look outside - what a waste. Food was average, overpriced for what it was - and no one took my plates off my table all night, they were left along with most of the empties. Not a fan, clearly.

Pub très sympa et assez classique mais bien situé et un peu caché des touristes. Il y a une très grande terrasse et beaucoup de place à l’intérieur. Les prix sont assez costauds. Le seul défaut est l’attente au bar.

Friendly service and very big beer garden

Lovely venue but the staff and kitchen completely let the place down. Staff at the bar verges on the unpleasant. The kitchen is quickly overwhelmed and service is slow and lazy. 3 bits of tomato and a few capers on a slice of soft white bread (untoasted) and they call it a bruschetta (£8.50). Impossible to eat without the tomato falling off the bread. 2 stars for the garden.

Lovely pub for the area with yummy snacks and food and a really good beer garden. It always has a nice vibe to it and a friendly team serving behind the bar.

Popped in for a drink after work but I've eaten here before too. Good selection of food and drinks, nice atmosphere and great location.

We had a huge get together so the group was quite large, but the staff were amazing at everything from service to food! The atmosphere was nice and calm, and the photos you can take there are insta-worthy:) They unfortunately didn't have a cocktail menu yet but I heard they are launching soon!

I suggest all don't go to this pub. This is one of the worst one in london. Even one star rating also too much for this pub, worst supervisor and worst management, very rude manager, he didn't even care about any person, treating like demon an reckless person.
