The Blue Boat in Hammersmith and Fulham

Just had a tea on a cold and rainy afternoon with a good friend. There is a very comfy and cosy seating area. Very nice

Nice place to stop for a pint during a walk along the Thames path. It can get quite busy on a weekend.

Had the chicken and cheese toastie lunch with drink for £14. 2 stars because of price. Food would get 1 star.

Lovely pub, lovely location. We went on a Thursday evening for food and a few drinks. Quite a few things on the food menu were not available and the kitchen would accommodate a dip substitute to allow us to get a sharing platter and wouldn’t sell it to us without the dip.

Service was below minimum for a nice restaurant/pub as described. Food was below average, the pasta had no sauce and was dry and had no burrata despite stating it came with burrata. The focaccia was more so burnt old bread. Disappointed. Would recommend for a nice view of the river for drinks only.

Food was very good . With a great menu offering. Service however was pretty lackluster at best considering it was overly busy. Lots of dirty plates and glasses left on tables inside and outside the pub. Also the waiting staff took 15 or so minutes to take our food order. In a plus great selection of quality wines and dig friendly too

La comida estaba sosa y tenía un sabor precongelado. Incluso la ensalada no tenía ingredientes frescos y sabía como si hubiera salido de una lata. Es difícil equivocarse con el fish and chips, pero fue muy decepcionante. El servicio era agradable, hermosa vista sobre el río. La comida es horrible. Y no es barato.

Went on a Sunday for the second time in a year. On both occassions, the menu was so small and half the items were not available (sold out), so we could not find anything that all of us liked, so we had to leave. The last occassion, left me with a £60 drinks bill for 6 of us . Nice location on a sunny day, but very pricey and not worth it.

Great pub at a perfect location and good selection of beers and tonics. The reason I gave 4 stars is pint is so expensive!

Manager(Bradley) was very rude and unwelcoming but the security guard(Brian) was very nice

Bradley the manager was absolutely rude to us and wouldn’t serve us after the security guard had verified my age, the manager then lied and said he name was Michele which is an absolute breach.

Manager refused service with no reasoning ruined the our day. manager called Bradley lied and said his name was Michael but Brian was a really nice security guard personally wouldn’t come back when you got an ignorant manager playing the typical power card

Manager named Bradley. Given us a fake name after claiming we were rude to him. Refused to give us a reason for being removed and then proceeded to be rude to us. Brian the security guard took us out and explained the situation. Brian deserves 5 stars, took care of us and made sure we were in good spirits on our way out.

The manager bradly did not respect us at all asked for id and the bouncer cleared that we have iD and my friend ask for 3 drinks and he said we were being rude while he was getting the cups we were talking to each other and he stoped and said he’s not serving us and he was being rude while we asked for an explanation while the bouncer was very respectful and should get a raise and he’s positive not like the manger bradly and if nothing it progressed with this because something has to be done about bradly if nothing been done to him with his position I’ll be sharing this around to everyone and the pub will go down in business and won’t have cleints

Es un lugar encantador junto al río y un buen espacio al aire libre. ¡Es tan caro para comida y bebidas! Pagué 14 libras. 99 por una pequeña porción de quiche y un puñado de cohete. Estaba sabroso, pero en comparación con un asado enorme por unos kilos más, tal vez valdría la pena mirar los tamaños de las pociones.

Can only speak for the food (as we don't drink) but the food here was truly awful. This is our local and we'll never return again, it was that bad. I can't in good faith recommend this place. However the riverside location is excellent! Perhaps a place you might want to sit outside and have a pint. Just don't order food.

The location is right by the lovely river, and the staff members are super polite and always eager to help.

Precios astronómicos para bebidas estándar. Me han cobrado £ 23, 80 por una pinta y gin tonic casero. . . (No fue el mejor que he tenido) He pedido en el bar yo mismo, así que asumo que ni siquiera el cargo por servicio se aplica en él. Nunca volverá.

Fantástica ubicación cerca del puente Hammersmith. Vistas al río con vibraciones frías de la ciudad. Gran lugar para conocer amigos y colegas. El equipo aquí es acogedor y super atento. La comida es genial y un lugar tan fácil para llegar temprano y utilizar el WiFi rápido. He pasado muchas tardes "trabajando desde casa". No puedo recomendar este lugar más. Adam, GM, tiene un fuerte enfoque en los detalles que hacen que la experiencia del cliente sea memorable. ¡Vendré aquí mucho más!

No drinks prices anywhere, no online drinks menu except for a wine menu, should be readily available.

Estaba allí con dos amigos. La camarera que nos sirvió, dejó los pedidos y dijo 'ok chicos, la cocina cerrará en quince minutos, así que si quieres pedir más, tienes que hacerlo ya sabes'. Dos minutos después, fui a pedir y el otro tipo dijo que la cocina ya estaba cerrada. Le respondí diciendo lo que decía la camarera; él me respondió diciendo 'no sé quién dijo eso, pero la cocina está cerrada y no se puede pedir'. Nadie se disculpó por eso.

I came to watch the Euros final on 14/07/24, we didn’t have a good view of the TV to start, but Immanuel went above and beyond to make us feel welcome & also make sure we could see the football action. I’m so grateful for this as it was my brother’s birthday & I wanted him to be able to enjoy the game to the fullest! I love when staff members go above and beyond to make their customers feel special! Thanks Immanuel! 10/10!

Very nice place by the river, we had a great time in a Sunday afternoon after a long walk by the river. We didn't dine but the food esp the Sunday roast looked amazing.

Lovely place. Went for a long late lunch before going to the theatre and it was perfect! Staff were friendly, let you enjoy a lazy lunch without feeling you'd stayed too long or constantly asking if you wanted anything else. We had the charcuterie starter and the sirloin steak off the main menu and the caeser salad with chicken off the specials. Both were really tasty. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area!

Such a nice venue by the river. Lovely staff, I dropped a knife and immediately it was replaced. That doesn't happen often. Good wine too.

Food was amazing, only complaint my plate was a little bit small for me =) but was really good, I wish they have a calories detail just to know how bit the portions are, but is a personal opinion so I hope they keep doing amazing plates, but some bigger options for lunch at least :)

The place is lovely, outside and inside.... but that's it! Loads of beers were out of stock, they didn't have 6 plates on the menu, the waiter taking the order didn't know there was a "chef special menu" and then he said it wasn't valid for that evening. The dishes were served all at different times to the table. They brought us tap water but without glasses to drink it. We asked for a specification of what a sauce was made of and we got the answer "I don't know" and we had to push the waiter to go and ask in the kitchen. We had our dirty plates and glasses on the table until we left (11.30pm), no ora came to clear the table. The food was ok in taste but it doesn't balance a terrible service.

The dessert brownie and chamomile tea were fire. The tables were a little crowded with objects, though.

Didn’t do takeaway ice cream on a hit day. Sad.

Great menu and the beer on tap was delicious. I've been a few times over the years and it really seems to have found its feet now. With lots of riverside pub offerings in the area, it might be easy to overlook The Blue Boat but it's fast becoming my favourite in the area.

Lovely pub in a great location overlooking the river. Attended a function there last Saturday. Food, drinks, atmosphere, and service were all outstanding. Can't recommend this place enough. Will definitely be back in the near future.

Great lovely pub with a amazing beer garden and lots of space inside also. The food is lovely, the service wonderful and the decor and ambience cracking. They have a lot of choice for food and behind the bar and so its good for everyone and its just opposite the water so adds that special touch on a summer evening.. can go with friends, colleagues or even for a casual date. Highly recommend

it’s a shame to do this but i have to, and that curly girl learned her lesson of not cussing customers in their back how silly they are because they add few shots after .. overall very nice place but not with that attitude.

Understaffed, all very polite, just not enough of them. Starters arrived after main courses and drinks took 30 mins to arrive. Hamburger was terrible and extortionate for the quality, other food items were fine.

A great spot with nice staff, but the food quality is too variable across dishes some are good and others are really lacking. I took 10 people here and felt the need to apologise to some for the food they got.

I give this pub a very low punctuation. The reason is the terrible food we had last Sunday with my friends coming from Barcelona for the weekend. After a long walk around Kensington and Hyde Park, we ended up at Hammersmith riverside, a good location for a Sunday walk. We were lucky to get a table outside with a great sunny day. Food arrived late, and I have to say I had the worst Sunday roast of my life. Pork was soft, and vegetables were totally raw. The only edible food on the plate was a piece of roasted potato. My friend ordered crab and mussels tagliatelle, dish arribe cold and with crab at all. It's a real shame because the location is fabulous. So please avoid food here!! Is expensive and really, really bad! I felt sorry for the staff working there!

Gorgeous location! Great to sit outside and watch the sunset with a nice pint. They are expensive pints though! And even more expensive when they charged us for 2 pints instead of the one and half we ordered. Luckily another colleague helped correct it when we went back and clarified. Food was okay. Burger was very dry and the patty thin. Coconut chilli lime clams were vaguely spiced but lacking the vibrant flavours promised. For about £20 each we were expecting a bit more! Also took about 30 mins to serve us once we had ordered. Maybe stick to a drink or two to watch the sunset and then find another place for food.

Arrived for a drink in the sun. They took 10 minutes to take our order then rechecked order 5 minutes later. 6 minutes later then brought ginger ale instead of the requested ginger beer and insisted this was the same. Politely declined and replacement drink took a further 3 minutes. So 3 drinks took 24 minutes. Won’t be coming back……

Very disappointing yesterday. All waiting staff confused with orders. They came many times to the table with random things. Then as expected, the bill with random things from others. Double gin tonic was served single. Padrón peppers are fake! They are peppers but not padrón. We are Spanish and we know what padrón peppers are, small and ultra slim skin with Maldon salt. Given massive peppers looked like jalapeños with no salt. A disaster altogether. I’m local and I review places.

Good location by the river but average food. Perhaps nicer in summer when you can sit in the yard outside. Good service though 🙂

Good pub food, usually great service but it gets a bit messy during busy times. Staff is kind, atmosphere is fantastic, just by the banks of the Thames. They have little to no choices for vegetarians.

This potentially fabulous Riverside restaurant is let down by inattentive service. Very polite but not aware of, or responsive to, customers' needs. You need to ask for everything to get it - from water to serviettes, even to clean the table from the previous guests when you get there - and the more polite among us, tend not to. But the food is as described and very eatable. Food isn't the highlight, the view and Riverside bustle is. But a really good hangout - or pitstop on a Thames Walk.

What a location. Gorgeous place to stop by on a sunset walk. Unfortunately, back of the house let me down on my visit, misplaced our order and tool 45min plus to get my pie out. It was delicious and savoury, and front house service tried their best to accommodate. Won't discourage me to come back and enjoy the atmosphere.

Loved it. In a city so full of gastro pubs and restaurants, many are very average, this was really lovely. early evening midweek dinner with a pal before going to the Riverside Studios. 90 mins early-bird, a pint, a glass of wine with dinner and it was great. Lovely modern pub, airy, spacious, welcoming, a great server who seemed to love her job, prompt service, really lovely food, just loved it. A winner for sure.

Absolutely wonderful and food was yummy

I have often treated Blue Boat as my local, and have seen over the years, a gradual decline in service and quality of food. My most recent lunch was so bad, I immediately cancelled the Christmas lunch reservation I had made for my family. The chicken pie has (I am not exaggerating) 2-3 tablespoons of filling. It was mostly crust and mashed potato. I will still frequent the pub for drinks but not for food.

A very pleasant place in a quiet location, next to the rowing club, on the south bank of Thames River. Located less than 10min. walking distance from the Hammersmith Underground station( Picadilly Line ). The members of the staff are very professional and helpful. The atmosphere inside is nice, with a quiet, intimate conversation possible at some distant tables. The food is fresh and tasty.

Great comfort food made with fresh ingredients, i had the beef shin, and it just melted in your mouth, my compliment to the chef. The waiters were amazing, too. No request was too much for them. I'll definitely return.

OK, nothing special, got a cocktail which didn't taste great and it's a fave of mine. Pretty expensive but not shocked by that as its on the river.

A lovely pub on the Thames, on the quiet side of Hammersmith Bridge. A great selection of drinks and super dog friendly. It was a bit chilly to sit outside but I imagine it would be great in the summer.

Quite a lot of money for not an awful lot. Ended up spending around £25-£30 (including self-added service charges/tips etc) for a burger, chips and a pint. Nice location and place but left underwhelmed by it overall. If you’re charging £17.50 for a burger meal, you kind of expect more than this…
