Lovely pub by the river. The food is great, and so are the drinks selection

This potentially fabulous Riverside restaurant is let down by inattentive service. Very polite but not aware of, or responsive to, customers' needs. You need to ask for everything to get it - from water to serviettes, even to clean the table from the previous guests when you get there - and the more polite among us, tend not to. But the food is as described and very eatable. Food isn't the highlight, the view and Riverside bustle is. But a really good hangout - or pitstop on a Thames Walk.

1st outside beer for me this lunch where better than the blue boat great pint , nice staff fabulous location

What a location. Gorgeous place to stop by on a sunset walk. Unfortunately, back of the house let me down on my visit, misplaced our order and tool 45min plus to get my pie out. It was delicious and savoury, and front house service tried their best to accommodate. Won't discourage me to come back and enjoy the atmosphere.

Delicious food for a price, great atmosphere near the river and Hammersmith bridge. Definitely try a dessert.

Loved it. In a city so full of gastro pubs and restaurants, many are very average, this was really lovely. early evening midweek dinner with a pal before going to the Riverside Studios. 90 mins early-bird, a pint, a glass of wine with dinner and it was great. Lovely modern pub, airy, spacious, welcoming, a great server who seemed to love her job, prompt service, really lovely food, just loved it. A winner for sure.

Absolutely wonderful and food was yummy

I have often treated Blue Boat as my local, and have seen over the years, a gradual decline in service and quality of food. My most recent lunch was so bad, I immediately cancelled the Christmas lunch reservation I had made for my family. The chicken pie has (I am not exaggerating) 2-3 tablespoons of filling. It was mostly crust and mashed potato. I will still frequent the pub for drinks but not for food.

A very pleasant place in a quiet location, next to the rowing club, on the south bank of Thames River. Located less than 10min. walking distance from the Hammersmith Underground station( Picadilly Line ). The members of the staff are very professional and helpful. The atmosphere inside is nice, with a quiet, intimate conversation possible at some distant tables. The food is fresh and tasty.

Great comfort food made with fresh ingredients, i had the beef shin, and it just melted in your mouth, my compliment to the chef. The waiters were amazing, too. No request was too much for them. I'll definitely return.

OK, nothing special, got a cocktail which didn't taste great and it's a fave of mine. Pretty expensive but not shocked by that as its on the river.

A lovely pub on the Thames, on the quiet side of Hammersmith Bridge. A great selection of drinks and super dog friendly. It was a bit chilly to sit outside but I imagine it would be great in the summer.

Quite a lot of money for not an awful lot. Ended up spending around £25-£30 (including self-added service charges/tips etc) for a burger, chips and a pint. Nice location and place but left underwhelmed by it overall. If you’re charging £17.50 for a burger meal, you kind of expect more than this…

location great, beer great, food very disappointing. maybe i ordered the wrong thing, but i got “griddled prawns” that looked uncooked and tasted over cooked. i assume they were microwaved. i feel like i’ve spent £22 on chips. l Expressed my dissatisfaction with the prawns to staff to no answer or compensation… and they still charged me £7 service charge… what a mug.

Great for a late evening burger or fish and chips

I love this place for its location which is becoming the area of the river that more and more Londoners are heading to, far away from the Southbank tourist bustle and to the more serene setting with Hammersmith bridge and Putney bridge as great views and craven cottage nestled in there! fullers pub so you know the ale is going to be on point, I have never eaten here and don't tend to eat at pubs in London that often - so cannot comment. the setting is good, the seating is good too and

Food quality was very good, the menu wasn't super extensive but enough choices, and a couple of decent vegetarian/vegan dishes. Drinks menu was a lot bigger and also very nice. Standard prices in London nowadays. Comfy chairs and big tables in the terrace. Next to the river, so lovely views. Only downside was that it took them ages to come to the table to take our orders, but after that they came several times to clear out the table and serve more drinks, and they were all nice. It was probably a busy Sunday!

Food was oily and not tasty at all. We took a few starters, but I didn’t like even one dish, and we had to go to another place for a dinner. Staff is not interested at all, when we were ordering no one even wanted to listen… Drinks are okay, nothing special. Pub was quite full and very noisy. Lady was singing in about 10 meters from us that we were not able even to hear each other.

Great location with stunning views but the service was very slow and poor and 2/3 of the food menu was unavailable! Some staff totally disinterested or kept forgetting the drinks order. Lack of availability of most food items at lunch time not great!

Truly staggering experience. We ordered some drinks from the bar and sat at an outside table. When we had finished, a guy came over and asked if we wanted any more drinks. We said thanks and ordered the same again, two lagers and the house rose . It then took forever to pay the bill, about 20 minutes of asking them to please come and let us pay for our drinks. When we finally did pay, we then realised it cost over 30 quid, which was way way more than the earlier round. When we questioned this they explained that they have lots of different wines, all called "the house", and they'd given us an expensive one the second time round. The manager shrugged, refused to do anything about it, and said we should have been more specific when we asked for 'the house' even though wed already ordered it once before. Haha gotcha! I asked them to refund our service charge. They said no. We then went to the Hop Poles and had a great time, having reasonably priced drinks and joking with the staff about how absolutely appalling The Blue Boat is. One of the most shocking experiences I have ever had in a London pub. Do not go!

Service saved our experience. We came last night and they were out of almost every dinner option, so we had to have the pork chop and the pie. Nothing to brag about. One glass of wine, 2 beers, lemonade that was actually a sprite and food for 5 people was 175 pounds. The fried "scampi" was miniature frozen shrimp and the calamari was good but a minuscule portion. So much potential, so little to show for. Thanks to our waitress for being so nice. Would not return.

The pub in general, its location, and the staff team are 5/5 Unfortunately my food order wasn’t. I ordered the chicken schnitzel Ceasar salad; the chicken was lovely. The salad wasn’t; the lettuce was limp, there was a massive overkill of quite large anchovies, the dressing had no Ceasar dressing flavour at all - it tasted of nothing. £27.00 for a bottle of run of the mill Pinot Grigio make midweek dining & a drink expensive. I’ve eaten here a couple of times and on each occasion it’s been significantly underwhelming.

Excellent location by The Thames. Interesting menu. Very good service. The beetroot dip with sourdough flatbread was good, and the asparagus with truffled mayo and parmesan cheese delicious. And the salted caramel ice cream made a delightful dessert.

Lovely riverside pub with amazing sunsets and outstanding service. We booked for a large group of friends and was a little concerned as some recent tripadvisor reviews were a bit rubbish, however, we had an amazing night and the staff were all polite, efficient and super helpful. Alex in particular on the bar was really chatty and really made our evening. The cocktails were so good and reasonably priced for the area. I would 100% book again as we had such a memorable and fun evening. I would also recommend going to watch the sunset there as its my favourite spot to do so in London.

First the good news…location is outstanding, just long the waterfront from Hammersmith Bridge, waiting staff are delightful, service is prompt and it’s a nice airy space. Lost stars basically due to the quality of the food. Roast beef was very chewy and knives were blunt so it was all a bit of a struggle. Veg of carrots, parsnips and colly were all massively over cooked. In fact Soggy. And gravy was glutinous, not in a good way. But we will give it another go.

Went to the Blue Boat after a Fulham evening game . Didn’t seem to be many people at the bar when we entered. However seem to wait ages to be served. Only for the bar staff to serve people who came in after us. Even when this was pointed out ,they still served these people first, with a half hearted sorry. Decided to leave at this point ,and went to a pub, where the staff were more experienced and on their game. Great looking pub ,and location, but we won’t be returning for sometime.

Enjoyed a very nice pre theatre lunch here. Very close to the Riverside Studios and not far from the Hammersmith Apollo. Would love to return in the summer to sit outside and enjoy the views.

Them - 'We are full at the moment' Me - 'I guessed that might be the case which is why I asked for advice on a good time to return' Them - Huff, puff, shrug of shoulders. Goes and gets an iPad mini - Huff, puff, shrug of shoulders and adds a sigh. 'I don't know, we are full'. Me - I repeat my request. Them - 'I don't know. We are busy today. Me - I repeat my request. I know when I am beaten so I leave. Shame as I live 100 meters away. This pub has never been a 'local' as the service is always random. About a kilometre away is the Red Lion at Barnes - we had a fantastic lunch and were welcomed by a true professional. A great roast and bottle of Rioja.

En primer lugar, me sorprendió ver solo un puñado de personas en el restaurante cuando solo había 2 espacios disponibles para reservar de 5 a 7 pm o de 8:30 a 10:30 pm. Nos apresuramos y llegamos 10 minutos antes para asegurarnos de no perder nuestra reserva. Fuimos atendidos muy rápidamente al llegar por el caballero anfitrión afuera, tomó nuestros detalles y nos informó de las nuevas reglas.Estábamos mirando el menú cuando otro miembro del personal se acercó a nosotros para hablar sobre las especialidades del día de los chefs, que era el filete. (¡Mi favorito!) Así que fue obvio. No se me informó de los acompañamientos en este momento.Recibimos nuestra comida y había un enorme hongo plano en mi plato con un tomate, una ensalada de hojas y patatas fritas. No soy un fanático de los hongos y no puedo soportar que los hongos toquen otros alimentos en mi plato, pero no hice un escándalo y pedí un plato para quitar el hongo. Un buen punto sería descarrilar el plato especializado ya que no está en el menú para que lo veamos. Así que le habría ahorrado al chef el tiempo y el desperdicio de comida. De lo contrario, la comida era excelente y las bebidas eran buenas.¡Volveremos cuando haga mejor tiempo! :)

Terrible servicio. El personal es de mala educación y no responde. Cuando pedimos hablar con el gerente, todo quedó claro. Su actitud fue la misma grosera y oficiosa. ¡La comida estaba demasiado cocida y las patatas fritas terribles! ¡Qué pena, ya que es un lugar hermoso!

El pub Blue Boat de Fullers está muy bien situado con vistas al río. Ofrecen una oferta bastante estándar de bebidas y un menú algo reducido de ofertas de comida.Fuimos por clásicos de pub, pescado y patatas fritas, hamburguesa de ternera y hamburguesa de pollo.La comida entregada era un triste plato de comida bastante fría. Especialmente las papas fritas parecían haber sido fritas y luego recalentadas. No estaban crujientes ni estaban calientes y parecían quemados al mismo tiempo.Enviamos la comida y el personal se disculpó y dijo que ellos mismos no comerían la comida. Esto es realmente malo y me avergonzaría de ser el chef en esa cocina que sirve ese tipo de comida.Salimos y caminamos hasta Sams Riverside, donde pudimos tener una hamburguesa encantadora servida con patatas fritas frescas y una sonrisa.Parece que Fullers Blue Boat solo lo está después de obtener grandes ganancias. PERO, cuando llegamos 1) solo teníamos la mesa hasta la 1 pm 2) el menú del desayuno se cerraba en 10 minutos, así que solo teníamos 5 minutos para ordenar para 6 personas 3) si quisiéramos esperar el almuerzo en el pub, tendríamos esperar hasta el medio día para ordenar y todavía tener la mesa durante una hora. Cuando reservamos la mesa no nos dieron ningún tipo de información. El servicio fue grosero, apresurado y ágil. Tuve que pedir bebidas dos veces. Cuando preguntamos si podíamos tener algunos lápices de colores para la hija de 3 años de mi amigo, el camarero espetó diciendo que podríamos esperar primero la comida: (

I had walked past this pub a couple of times during a bried stay nearby and thought it looked appealing.We decided to have our final dinner here before departing UK tomorrow for home and were not disappointed at all.It has a superb location right on the river path and an inviting appeal. Längs Themsen finns ju mängder av ställen som kanske är mer genuina än detta, men ibland känner man bara för en vällagad burgare och en öl. Då är det här stället perfekt. Vällagad mat, snabb och vänlig service. Dessutom är läget perfekt, speciellt på sommaren när man kan sitta ute på den stora uteserveringen.

Dear allIf you are looking for a place to go and have a drink when you are going to the theatre, this is the place, I can see it being a nice place to stop for a drink on a summers day while you are having a nice walk by the river.
