The carvery is great, hot and nice portions of meat. Its a bit expensive on Sunday vs other places but usually worth it. Menu items are hit or miss. Staff are friendly and service is quick. Would recommend.

Went as a guest to a birthday party and it was lovely. The buffet was fabulous. Drinks prices were a shock though - £3.30 for a bottle of Pepsi Max!!! Thank goodness I don't drink alcohol. But to be fair, I rarely go out so maybe its the normal price of things nowadays.

Best Carvery in the area ! . Selection of roast meats , pies and a vegetarian pie option included in the price. Best range of perfectly cooked vegetables I have ever come across including roast parsnips ! . The Staff are fantastic and very happy to help . Prices are very reasonable and represent good value for money . The restaurant area is open and has a good layout, with tables not too close together. The Queens Arms Audenshaw is truly a hidden gem and certainly worth a visit.

Best Carvery in the area, I always go early and never on a Sunday. Always spot on! Shame they don’t do real ale.

The 3 of us had carvery which was excellent, good selection of meats & veg/sides, food kept hot & fresh rather than just left to stand. Staff attentive & friendly.

Went for the 1st time few weeks ago, reasonably sized place, plenty of table's and a good varied menu plus carvery options. Choice of meats with gammon, beef or turkey along with Yorkshire pud, mash and roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese and all the trimmings, plenty to choose from. The quality of the carvery was good for the price, staff were pleasant and service was good.

A few months ago this review would have been 5 star. But after today I'm sorry I just can't. The Staff in the Queens are some the best and nicest you will find and the management are great. Can't fault them but the food had massively gone down hill. Went for a Sunday carvery. 3 meat carvery only 2 were available. I asked for both to be given 1 ting piece of beef. I complained to management and they rectified this. But the general food was awful. Pigs in blankets that were mushy. Parsnips overcooked and carrot and swede mash which was so runny I couldn't eat it. Gravy that was watery and tasteless. I love the Queens always have I don't know if the chefs have changed or what's happened but I honestly don't see myself going again

The worst service I have ever received!! The manager is a rude, obnoxious person who screams at their customers when she can’t back up her false advertising. Do not waste your money here!!!!

We came here this evening for my friends birthday after seeing 2 courses for £12.95 throughout January. We had been here a few times before and never had any issues. We ordered our main meal at the bar, sat down and ate. When we'd finished, we ordered our desserts only to be told as we hadn't ordered them at the bar when we first arrived, we couldn't have them. We explained that we were not aware of this. The staff did not make us aware when we arrived, nor does it state anywhere that we had to order on arrival. We then spoke to a different member of staff and showed him the deal, and he agreed we were entitled to a dessert and brought them out for us. Just as we were finishing eating, a different member of staff came over demanding payment for our desserts, saying we should not have received them. We asked to speak to the manager. We were left waiting for around 15 minutes before the manager finally came over to ask what the problem was. (We were told this was because she was watching us on cctv first). We explained the issue, but she said that as per the terms and conditions on their facebook page, we were not entitled to them as we did not order them at the bar when we arrived. We asked her if she could show us where it states this as we couldn't see it anywhere. There was also a card on our table advertising this deal, which, again, did not state it had to be ordered together when we first arrived. This so-called manager then suddenly proceeded to scream at us in front of other customers about how we must be so 'hard up' as we couldn't even afford to pay £9 for the desserts. How does she know what personal circumstances her customers are going through? She continued to shout at us as we made our way out, 'I hope you enjoyed your £9 desserts', 'Do not step foot back in here'. 'You're too hard up to pay' etc. Absolutely disgusting service with a vile manager. Doesn't even deserve this 1 star that I am forced to give.

Arranged a family meal for 12 people. phoned the restaurant during the week to book in. on arrival No Booking had been made!! We had travelled from all different areas to celebrate a birthday. Waited at the bar around 15 minutes very cramped, not nice when people are eating near you, i felt awkward. They sat us at different tables, food was brought out at different times, after waiting 40 minutes. Cheap food - high price The carvery is shocking - not much choice, gravy like water. Drinks are expensive - for where the place is id not be expecting to pay £10 for 2 pints - had better drinks and food at weatherspoons. Will not be returning.

Gone very poor recently. Used to visit regularly and we were always happy with it. Now they always run out of something (roast potatoes and gravy today...) Had to wait 10 minutes for the gravy today. Inexcusable for a carvery. Almost asked for a refund. Never again!!!

Went for a family , mixed ages, the atmosphere was lovely the manger was very nice and the waitress, went out off her way , at making sure that the table was cleared in between course, and was very helpful , all the meals were cooked very nice all hot has well , no complaints off any off the family members , had a very enjoyable day, 😀 thankyou to the manger and all her staff, 😀😊😄xx

Meat was really fatty the mash had all vegetables bits in it roasters arnt really roasters gravy was very watery and tastless service was bad 👎 paid a lot for it not again ile go somewhere else

Came this week for Xmas Dinner. The meat choice couldn't fault. But the chef in charge needs to view the way he or she gets staff putting vegs out. Brussels couldn't eat as they were burnt. Parsnips overcooked. The cook could do with having veg refilled on regular basic rather than putting it out in large quantities. As veg withers and cold. This is what failed for me. Other wise could of been a lovely meal.

First time there and I don't think will be the last we had a selection of food for a birthday get-together my carvery was excellent the cauliflower cheese was extremely tasty thumbs 👍 from our party of 15 adults and 7 kids

The best carvery by far. Delicious and large choice of veg. We're back again with family. Excellent food and exceptional staff especially Carol very entertaining and she can't do enough for you.

Obnoxious, rude, hostile and tight Carvery person.. I was given what amounts to a meagre couple of slices of wafer thin meat and when i pulled the obnoxious server he just ignored me turned his back and walked awaysaying that was all i was getting. This was thursday afternoon between 1.00pm and 2pm on 23/11/2023. As a regular who comes here with my disabled mum i expect better but even when you spend a thousand pounds or more a year in here it doesnt get you good service or a fair portion of food. Doubt i will ever go in again as this is the second time ive had to deal with obnoxious male staff member. Managment dont care a bit.

I had burger and chips which is priced at 15.95. I expected fresh made for this price. Both bought in, frozen and cooked. You could easily tell. Ah well. Lesson learnt.

Staff are all very polite, well-mannered and friendly, only downside is we haven't been in for about 18 months and after coming back last week the carvery prices have near enough doubled, it is probably the best carvery in the area though so you do get what you pay for

Prices for carvery have shot up over £8 for a small kids and over £12 for a large carvery multiple veg dishes empty and 3 times staff asked for children's ice cream over 30 minutes and wasn't even busy. Last time for me.

Very busy, Sunday's are even busier. One problem, it's set out in rows like a canteen, food is ok, carvery good and reasonably priced . Worth a visit if only for the mural outside.

Came here on a busy Friday night and it was quite late. The food was lovely - special mentions to the mash potato and cauli cheese. Staff were super friendly and had great customer service. They even provided us with a takeaway box so we could take the leftovers home for our dogs.

Had a carvery some of the veg was too hard to eat hardly anywhere to sit for a drink after meal

A large family group visited yesterday 1st October 2023 as previous visits have been good. Unfortunately it was over crowded, for the buffet long queues, several items ran out some over cooked. Parsnios very hard. Sauces messy. Heating on, even though warm and all windows and doors open. Nowhere inside to sit after as all areas used for dining. Good to see places busy but over crowding makes it unpleasant.

Good place for carvery. Decent size beer garden. Plenty of parking.

Myself and my husband came in today for the carvery. We were both looking forward to it. I had pork and my husband had beef which both looked delicious and generous. From there it went downhill. We then helped ourselves to veg and potatoes and gravy etc of which there was plenty to choosee from. We then went to our table, the gravy, all vegetables were very luke warm to the point of being cold, and the gravy left a greasy film on my plate because it wasn't hot. The cauliflower cheese had congealed because it wasnt hot, all in all it made for a Very disappointing visit. We won't be coming again, im not wasting good money on cold food, especially when its a treat. Also the music was so loud I could not have a conversation with my husband. When I tried to speak I had to raise my voice, Very uncomfortable visit

Poor service wasn’t given a menu, no information given on the carvery or where to sit with a baby and young child. Had to keep getting up to go to the bar for drinks Carvery was terrible, undercooked rock hard veg, all of us left most of the meal child left all her chicken nuggets wasn’t asked if everything was ok as it clearly wasn’t, wouldn’t recommend wouldn’t come back plenty of other places good value for money

Menu issues again. We have been a few times with work and every time we have issues regarding the food/menu/pricing. Today I ordered the drunken walk home burger (the description and price is taken direct from their current website menu). It was actually £15.95. There was no cheese and no Jalapeno topper. If this was a one off I would say fair enough, but every time we go there seems to be some issue with either the food compared to the description or the price varies from what they are advertising. We were a birthday party of 15 and after an initial hitch in the booking of the room we wanted we were well treated and the food was lovely. A special thanks to sue the staff member who really looked after us and helped us enjoy the night.

Now I love the Queens been going years but today they have a new chap carving the meat who was giving loads to girls in front and when it came to me I asked just for turkey … I usually have three slices of beef gammon turkey but was being good . Big mistake ! He put three thin slivers from the narrowest point I thought it was a wind up ! I said is that it !Yes says he I’m following the rules I pointed out he gave others loads fell on deaf ears . By far the worst experience I’ve had in here. My Mrs and older family were given loads so maybe had a downer on me . They gave me meat from there plate and still had double what I had . Not happy

Prebooked well in advance for 11 people, they made a mistake with booking and we ended up at a table that fit 8 which was squished in the corner with baby, toddler in a highchair, a child who had to climb under the table to get out and a disabled person who couldn’t fit their walker (not that they could’ve pushed their chair out anyway). Staff Took no accountability, wouldn’t move us and forced us off the table. The food was all ordered at the same time, all mixed grills came out wrong with food missing and cooked wrong so was tough as a boot and slimey. We had to ask for forks and knives several times before receiving them and this was after food arrived. The staff didn’t clear the tables until we asked three separate times, this was done few plates at a time and 30 minute increments and food was brought out over an hour later after ordered. They had to go back and forth to tell us the way it was cooked (multiple mixed grills were ordered medium/medium rare but all came out over well-done and uncuttable and all meat was tiny and dry). Desserts were the only decent thing as most of food was left. Staff were rude and avoided the table for anything requested and cleaning even when we went up to them and/or called them over. Seems to be all young, new staff that aren’t trained properly. No apology despite complaint and ushered off the table despite long wait times between food. Would avoid this place in future!

Kids 10 pound something spent 43 pound me and two kids ,what a waste cold plates awful food terrible service ,use to be alright ere, don't bother ripp off ,kids didn't wouldn't eat it ,said it was the worst

Went for Sunday carvery after visiting for drinks and noticed how nice the carvery was. I chose the gammon tasted very strong most of FROZEN veg and FROZEN roast and Yorkshire was either over cooked or as like the carrots RAW. The worst was the gammon tasted v v strong. It totally put me off. I visited the gents to see my lunch again- on reflection it was off. Such a shame especially at the price £13.50

One of the nicest carvary's about any day of week also, very tasty food and have a "dirty side menu" too (naughty food) which I'm yet to try 😁 great prices too

Bit of a last minute thing this but decided to visit The Queens for a Sunday carvery..... Great food even had my picky 7 yr old getting stuck into the turkey!! Lovely atmosphere and fantastic food for a reasonable price!!!

Honestly the best carvery I’ve had! It is best to go earlier rather than later in the day when the food is freshly out! Staff are always friendly and welcoming! Parking is available but there aren’t tons of spaces available. I can imagine in a busy evening this could possibly be an issue. It’s very easy to order, find a table and order your size of carvery or food from the menu at the bar. They will give you a slip for the carvery which you take round the corner where the meat is cut for you and you do your own sides. Choices of meat are pork, turkey, gammon or beef with a Yorkshire pudding. If you don’t fancy meat there is a choice of pie! There are lots of veg options such as sweetcorn, sprouts, honey glazed parsnips, roasties, mash etc No one is perfect though and my honest opinion of the carvery over several visits is that the Parsnips can sometimes be a bit hard and the cauliflower cheese on occasion has been over done so can be a little soggy but 9 times out of 10 it’s spot on! Just be careful of the handles which sometimes get too hot to hold! From the menu the burgers are huge and always go down well with my teen! The onion rings are huge and if you love the batter they are perfect for you! Desserts are good size and even though I have never managed to get to one because I’m too full, I believe the lemon drizzle cake and apple crumble are epic. I’ve been so many times to the queens arms and I will continue to go as it’s my number one choice for a carvery.

Just celebrated our 103 year old mums life with family and friends, we couldn't have had it at a better place, the attitude, helpfulness, the friendliness, the quality of the food, the range behind the bar and the surroundings all made it a perfect end to a celebration of a fantastic mum, granny, great granny, great great granny and auntie. Fabulous.

Staff are well under trained by the female owner absolutely shocked how bad the staff are in this place. Amateur night . Will never return Do Not go here!!!!!

I went here for a carvery. There is parking for all, though limited. Entrances for all people. The staff were friendly and helpful and we we were shown to a table of choice. The carvery, you have to go to the bar,decide on plate size, pay for carvery and drinks, you are given a slip of paper for the carvery and drinks are brought to your table. Again carvery is simple. Choice of 3 meats from 4, and then it's your choice as you walk past vegetables. The food was well cooked, tasted delicious. Will go there a again. I ve been there a number of times. And found the food to be consistently very good. Well worth a visit and I will go there again.

Staff were very friendly and professional and polite paid for the servery and went through to get our table and went for food, the meat was a good variety but sadly the vegetables were a let down seemed as if they had been sat there for ages under the heat, I would go again this hasn't put me off just hope it was a one off

A few of us went for a birthday meal, the food was excellent.

I went for my first time to this place with my family today, when I placed my ordered the gentleman taking the order ( Steve, I believe) was a great guy easy chat. I asked for 2 meals, a coke and a beer, the beer was a larger and due to problems with the barrel they poured it in 2 or 3 goes, when I tested it, it was flat and I came to the counter to mention it and ask for another one instead of that flat one. The manager was there and Steve as well, so they knew that my drink was not up to standard. When I asked the manager for another drink instead she told me straight away that I would have to pay for it, and started arguing about it, instead of changing it for a new one without charge. I asked her to refund me the full amount paid towards drinks and meal. The manager was rude and not really smart because to save the money from pouring me another beer, she lost the total from our bill and a customer, if I was the owner I would not employ poorly skilled people and have them losing money and business. I will never come back again.

Carvery was poor, I've eaten here quite a few times but this time they used instant mash which was discusting the veg was way too hard to chew , so all that was edible was the meats, the cheese cake was tasteless and the price of a cup of cappuccino was shocking !

Anyone thinking of going Queens Arms, Audenshaw I wouldn't bother. Service is ridiculous. Went there yesterday ordered via the online system as instructed. Ordered burgers to then once paid be informed "we have no burgers" gave my new order which resulted in a £13.95 price reduction. Was led to the bar for a refund on my card. Checked my bank this morning to find that I hadn't infact been given a refund and they had taken a further £13.95 from my account. Rang them up to be told" no no we wouldn't have done that" I now have to go in tomorrow when that manager is on shift. So I'm currently £27.90 down, the service yesterday was ridiculous, having to ask for drinks they missed off and still not receiving them and in the end having to go to the bar and ask again for them. Over and hours wait for what I would describe as over priced mediocre food, desserts brought out whilst there was still dirty mains plates on the table. Would highly not recommend at all!!!!!

Shocking couldn't even microwave a lasagna right it! Wasn't warm ate what I could till last 3rd which was stone cold not even cooked!!. Complain to rude manager who called us liers. Was asked to leave before kids had chance to finish meal and get Desert. Carvery was poor standards before gone down hill!

Just had carvery and up to usual standard but main menu looks better than ever we'll worth a visit, good beer range to.

Great place to have a drink. Didn't eat there but the food smelled really good.

Visited as a group of 7, all ordered at the same time but the meals of two people arrived 40 minutes later than everyone else’s. No explanation as to why, had to chase various members of staff for our food. When food arrived wasn’t as described on the menu, burger was supposed to come with ‘onions and peppers’ came with a single piece of onion. Staff seemingly took no ownership over what had happened until asked about the situation. Would recommend to avoid unless you all order carvery or enjoy eating completely separate. We asked if we would receive any money off for our wait and gap in between service and was offered a free dessert.

Nothing wrong with the food delious! ..as been one time before..although was disappointed this time .waited 10 mins for gravey .(carvery)..by whitch time my food was cold..thay did offer another plate..the young lady in front off me add been waiting even longer and said her family nearly eaten there food while she was still waiting for gravey ..

Lovely large pub with plenty of seating available inside and out with a large selection of beers and a menu with enough food choices for everyone. Food made and arrived quickly and made to a high standard. Will defo return and would defo recommend.
