Not had a carvery as good as this for a long time!! Really recommend. Super friendly staff and the food was gorgeous we will be back

Our recent visit to the Fletcher's Arms pub left me delighted by their delectable carvery and charming ambience. The array of cooked meats and scrumptious sides made for a truly enjoyable dining experience. However, I was disappointed to find a 10% service charge added to the bill, especially knowing it doesn't benefit the staff directly. This overshadowed an otherwise fantastic meal, and regrettably, I won't be returning until this policy changes.

Had the carvery which had just been put out fresh and wow! Exceeded expectations, compliments to the kitchen staff, one of the best carveries iv have ever had, definitely recommend 👌🏼 great value for money and exceptional service from front of house team, will be recommending to everyone and anyone who will heat and most definitely will be returning soon 😀

An extremely well presented establishment, attentive staff offering a warm and friendly welcome. A grand portion of meat on the carvery complimented to high quality potatoes and vegetables on offer, which all lead to a very hearty enjoyable meal. This is the second Robinson's pub I have had Sunday lunch in the past three weeks, surly it's not beyond the hierarchy at Robinson's to replicate the quality presented in both across the group.

We came in for some drinks and the staff at the bar were lovely. The refurb has given the pub a new lease of life and the atmosphere is great.

We were there with our 5 year old granddaughter. The Waitress , I think her name was Annalyse was very child orientated.

Just been to the Fletchers for a Sunday Roast for 2 . We were allocated a table after only a short wait . When seated we were given a Menu , no one approached our table to ask what we would like to order after quite a wait and so we asked a Waitress as she was passing …. She obliged . We selected our Carvery’s , food was ok not very hot tho . When finished our meal and sat for a while and again no one came to remove our plates or ask if we wanted Desserts etc so again we called a Waitress over …. She took our order and delivered it to our table with no sugar for the coffee and so had to call her over again! We later asked for the bill, it came with optional service charge on and so as little service was given I asked for it to be removed . I also wonder why a Sunday Carvery is £3 more on a Sunday than other days . In the past we have been pleased with our food and Service at the Fletchers but definitely not today . I must say tho it’s a lovely venue shame it was let down today .

Carvery is OK, food was a bit bland. Meat had dried out under the heat lamps. The pub itself looks beautiful and updated it looks much more spacious now the bar has moved. The garden at the rear looks lovely. The toilets were clean and nicely decorated.

Truly awful. The Fletchers is no longer a place I would recommend. Its now expensive for very average food, prepared with little care. The carvery was simply dreadful. at an inflated price and with added service charge. No, we'll not be returning even though I only live round the corner. The carvery was not good and the meat was carved so thin it disappeared under the gravy.

Absolutely amazing pub, staff are so friendly and the food is great. Looks fab after the refund as well. Would really recommend coming here. Love it so much!!!

Me and my friends decided to visit for a long overdue catch up after many recommendations and we will certainly be returning! We were looked after by Kristi and Keeley and they could not do enough for us, very welcoming and professional. We opted for a carvery and it was perfect and such a great selection of wines. We would definitely recommend coming here.

Generous portion with the meat on the carvery , but the rest of the vegetables weren't great. Frozen roast potatoes a let down.

Ive been here several times and always had great food, today was disappointing The meat and gravy was the only things that I enjoyed. The roast potatoes were raw, I took them back but the replacement wernt great, the brocoli had just been blanched and the Yorkshire puds were kept in a basket and were cold. The waitress apologised and even took the service charge off the bill to which we insisted on paying as her service had been amazing and shouldn't have to suffer at the hands of a bad chef. I will take it as them just having a bad day or not the normal chef and will return as I have always enjoyed my food there

Very disappointed with the service an even more so with the food. We were greeted when we arrived by a very nice member of staff. We ordered drinks, waited at least 15 mins for the drinks to arrive. Starters arrived eventually.. again a very long wait for the main courses, the fish and chips my husband had was fine. However my fish pie ( a misnomer) had been microwaved to death. The quality of the food was very poor, the service was terrible and we will never return.

Excellent food and excellent service

Our local pub...and aren't we lucky! Friendly, efficient staff. Lovely surroundings and tasty food! Hubby had lamb Ragu which he said was delicious. I wanted something lighter and chose the goats cheese and roast pepper wrap, which was well filled, accompanied by a small side salad and coleslaw, which was delicious. We shared a bottle of house white wine.

Preferred the set up before the refurb and the food was not as good. Portions on meals from the menue were small. Some of the party had a Carvery and that was better value for money. Would have the carvery if I went again.

Always a friendly and warm environment. The team are fantastic, and the food is always gorgeous. Love this place, would thoroughly recommend a visit to anyone :)

Visited the Fletchers on numerous occasions over the years but sadly this time was overall very disappointing. We were welcomed on entry and seated. We had to wait a long time before our drinks order was taken.. it wasn’t busy at all. ..anyway by this time we had chosen our meal so all ordered at the same time (swings and roundabouts I guess). Our server was actually lovely but I took issue with other staff members. I approached a staff member to ask for some sauce.. he didn’t even acknowledge me- just grabbed a bottle from the cupboard and handed it over. Face like thunder -I then went over to the bar area where there were several staff members slouching around and gossiping which I thought was very unprofessional . I cannot stress enough how lovely our server was- unfortunately this could not be said for the rest of the team.

Great carvery, food is reasonably priced but drinks are expensive (£6.20 for a pint of Moretti) Great service.

Out for meal 4 of us Starters were fine I feel I must make following comments service was poor I had the Carvery items were warm some cold the meat minimal.My partners Med tart looked nice but pastry burnt, chips refried fish and chips fine I must say overall disapointed having spent £160 drinks and food didn’t reflect on quality or service in food hospitality service the plate tells the story my plate went back having only eaten meat and leeks was never asked why. I live local and was very disapointed.

Just rang up to book a table for 2 guests and was told they don't take bookings for less than 5. I think that's really bad. We could end up waiting for ages. No thanks, we will take our custom to a restaurant that cares about its clientele.

Lovely surroundings and staff are excellent, they couldn't do enough. I had vegan carvery, the plant based fillet was standard but overall very good. Red thai curry was lovely as was chicken burger and fries. My partner had the lentil shepherd's pie, he said it was tasty but to be honest the portion was much smaller than the children's meals we saw served. So overall a lovely meal.

Been going in here at least once a week more often than not twice a week. I have an support dog as I suffer from PTSD.But I appreciate that not everyone is happy with dogs being in a food area. Went about seven months ago and was told we could come inside. Which we have done since. I could have anyway but respected some customer's may not be happy Which I fully understand. Arrived today and was told I couldn't bring my emotional support animal inside. I pointed out that I could as it is law only to be told once again that I couldn't Which is incorrect. Will not be going back and further more will be making a complaint. I would have been more than happy as I always have been to dine outside but the reception we received was at best rude.

We come here often for the carvery which serves the best Chinese pork ever! Been coming here years and would never go anywhere else! We are always welcomed by zach who is always lovely and polite with a nice smile always! Always ask how we have been and asked us about our Christmas! He's such a joy to be served by. The carvery here is the best around! Love the new renovation too! Thanks guys! ♡

Carvery was barely warm including meat/fat selection, plates cold, food was tastless, 10% service charge for self service. Awful.

My friend and I come to this lovely pub on a regular basis. We usually have the fantastic carvery but on this occasion we were too early to have it. And we were so glad as for a change we had something off the specials menu. We both had Salt and pepper chicken burger. It was absolutely delicious and such a change from a normal burger. It was a salt and pepper chicken breast with bacon on a toasted pretzel bun. Served with skinny fries, side salad and a very yummy citrus chilli mayonnaise. We are coming back for something to eat and I really hope it's still on the specials menu. We had the buy 2 large glasses of wine and get the rest of the bottle free offer. Very nice. The lovely Josh served us and was a delight as usual. See you soon. Well worth a visit. There's a large car park and disabled access

Had an early Mother’s Day meal with 3 generations of “girls”. Did not get off to a great start as although we booked weeks ago for a table for 5 we were given a table for 4 with a random chair stuck on the end. There was clearly not enough room for 5. However after pointing this out politely we were moved to a bigger table as soon as it became free. It’s nice when there is a problem that an apology is given and it’s rectified quickly and efficiently. Service and food was all good. Carvery was excellent. We all had a great evening. Thanks we will definitely be back.

Excellent food, excellent staff.

Food is average. Service is really good though. Is dog friendly, but I wouldn’t take your dog here, unless you can sit outdoors, not really made to feel welcome. Lots of this pubs customers complain shouting so you can hear “people who want to take dogs in public places should stick the the countryside” 😳 perhaps those people shouldn’t go in ‘dog friendly pubs’ or stick to days when dogs are not allowed in this pub. Anyway will not be going again with or without a dog.

Always enjoy our meal. Take friends. Have got to know the staff as must be a happy place to work as some of them have been working there for a long time.

Absolutely lovely meal with family in a great pub, staff were amazing, quality of food exceptional, service above expectation. Well worth 5 star review.

First time here for a family meal to celebrate a 50th great service and carvery they'd ran out of key lime pie which I really wanted...maybe next time will come here again

Nice refurb, pack you in a bit, can get cluttered in some areas. Very nice though, lovely service, great quality food at a decent price. Very popular.

Just had a lunchtime business meeting here, and it was excellent. Attentive staff, excellent food reasonable price ( though my customer paid, I did offer). Will definitely visit again.

My local but don't go in often, Place is nice after refurbishment but that comes with a cost 🤯.Not ate here in a while as better places around and beer is expensive too even with Almond App which is useless.

Love here! Meet my friends and family for food snd drinks. The staff are friendly , funny and feels like its well organised. Like coming here . Nice new refurb as well which makes the place alot nicer. 😀

A fantastic carvery with many meat options. I chose the turkey and char sui pork. There was also beef and ham An array of vegetables carrots, sprouts, mashed potato, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, leeks, Cauliflower Cheese, red cabbage. I can't remember them all. Stuffing balland red currant sauce, apple sauce, bread sauce. A crispy Yorkshire pudding. Gravy, vegan Gravy and peppercorn sauce. I've missed out some items. There are pigs in blankets at an extra cost. Josh is alway attentive and such a lovely guy. We took advantage of the buy 2 large glasses of wine and get the rest of the bottle. We'll definitely be back.

Just enjoyed a lovely meal at The Fletchers with my parents. 2 of us had the British Fish Pie which was so nice. Served with long stem broccoli and peas which tasted like they had just come out of their pods ! 1 had the cheese and onion pie which was highly rated. We had apple crumble and custard which was served with custard. Absolutely delicious. Josh was our fabulous host. We will be back soon for the carvery . The pub/restaurant has undergone renovation and it was a lovely place to sit and relax . Many thanks 😊

The second best carvery in the area, but certainly The Fletchers is a better restaurant overall.

Best carvery ever. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Food was excellent. Plenty of choice, well presented. Able to cope with my garlic allergy. Now dog friendly.

Phoned up too book in at 3:30pm to go for 5-15 and was told just come down will put you on first available table I said look we have a 2 year old so can’t be waiting ages is it busy was told no just come down. 20 minute drive to get here and told we have to wait 50mins for table at the bar! This was why I rang to avoid this! Apparently they only take phone bookings for 5 plus people so even if there is only 2 of you booking in just say 5 so you don’t get this problem! Last time I came here food was really nice so a bit disappointed and the smarmy manager being rather arrogant with his “well it wasn’t busy when you rang” comment obviously you DONT HAVE YOUR OWN CHILDREN, cos if you did you’d understand why it’s so important to book it cos children loose interest very fast waiting 50 mins for a table and then waiting for food would of been a nightmare for your customers cos my little one has a very loud long tantrum next time I’ll let them experience it you will wish you booked us in!

I Travel From Burnage..Its the Best All Round Food..No 1.. The way the Staff work..is Great to see..So for only 12.50 u eat like a King..or Queen.. Its a pleasure to sit in Total Ambiance.... My Besty... And ive eaten all over MCR..

We were impressed by the service./. our Seating/Tables area cosy booth like but seats bit high for me ..but comfortable. would recommend visiting the Fletchers..plenty of Carpark space and it's Free..

It was our first time here for a family meal and it was fantastic. The pub is lovely, the food was delicious and service excellent. We were looking for somewhere that had a gluten-free menu, disabled access, and catered for vegans. The Fletchers had it all, and my son was very impressed with the extensive GF menu, as often at other restaurants, he has had very little choice. Highly recommended, and we will return.

Called in with family to celebrate my birthday. Extremely busy but good atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, was not impressed with the food apart from mine which was salmon it was quite nice the other family members had the rosemary lamb shank. Their food was barely warm and was average. Apple crumble wasn't the best at all. Hate to critize as its always been a lovely place but wasn't happy this time. Won't be rushing back.

To start with the staff here are the best of the best! They are all so polite, efficient and friendly. This one female server was a delight with my 6 year old inquisitive daughter and let her use the till! She loved it Staff are great but the food is standard unfortunately. I wanted to love it but just drive 10 minutes down the road to Spread Eagle which is also an Almond Pub and their food is better The chunky chips and the pie of the day being steak an ale were amazing though! I highly recommend. Fletchers has the 5 star staff but the food is just OK I would come back for a drink and a cheaper dish just cos the service was so lovely. It means a lot when the servers are as great as they are here

Lovely pub, came for lunch with a friend. At first we were seated on a smaller table and felt a little squashed in, but we asked if we could be moved to a different table and this was accommodated. Service was excellent, food delicious and quick. Lovely place to come for a catch up. Can highly recommend.

Had our food which was just OK. Asked to have a sweet and then told we'd have to move as table was required for someone else. Couldn't have had a sweet then.Nowhere to sit and stood near the bar for over half an hour until the people moved after being told their table was ready 3 times. Not enough seats for our party of 7. Needless to say we left early as not at all comfortable. Drinks were very expensive too.Bad experience as we were having a reunion of old work colleagues. Wouldn't recommend,stay away.

Had a slight issue, mentioned it, bodybuilder staff swiftly sorted it. Excellent food and customer svs. Popped in while passing and glad we did, would travel the 15 miles from home again

WOW blown away with refurbishment in the Fletcher, aways been a good pub but now its outstanding great service, good food and the ambiance is wonderful especially as we were sat by the fire.

Visited with my friends for a carvery and to have a look at the refurbishment, which is great. Kian, our server was lovely and looked after us really well. Carvery was lovely as usual.
