Delicious food, fantastic staff and I well recommend a mealtime visit.

Third time we’ve eaten here today and every time it’s been excellent. Lovely pub, spacious and very tasty food. Highly recommended.

Thursday night very busy. Didn't know speed quiz was on at nine. Good carvery for most of our table. Salmon great dish. Service was slow due to business. Atmosphere like a train station. Been various times and been better service and food. Been before and would return.

Sorry for late review but I feel need to leave one as my husband and I ate here on Wednesday 12th March. The food was beautiful I had the nicest Caesar salad I have eaten, and the service was exceptional. We were served by a lovely young man called Jay who was very attentive and polite. We will definitely be joining you again soon.

Nothing special and definitely not worth the prices they are charging

Not a great experience, called to book a table they told us just walk in, to then be told you can have this table for an hour then leave or wait half an hour. So we waited, male manager (I assume) was very rude and just generally made us feel unwelcome and inconvenient. Food was OK but not worth the price. Definitely better carveries available elsewhere. Will not be returning

Absolutely loved the food and beer here, and the service is top notch. My pasta was amazing and the Hopnik beer everything I love in an IPA. Can't recommend this place enough!!

Probably the best carvery in Tameside, been a few times recently and it's been bang on. Bit pricey but at least you know you are paying for a decent quality.

This place is not really for dogs friendly the staff not nice.

I visited the Fletchers for an early Friday lunch with my brother and sister in law on the 7th February. We had not booked but received a warm welcome from the duty manager at front of house when we arrived. We were seated in the bay window at the front of the restaurant and immediately attended to by Alice who took a drinks & carvery order. The food on the carvery is delicious, with ample choice and always hot, whilst served with a smile! Being vegetarian I can easily fill my plate with the great range of vegetables and lovely vegetarian gravy. Josh later served us with drinks, and we agreed that all the team were friendly and efficient. Another delightful visit. Thank you.

Oh wow what a find this place was! We were passing through and staying locally for football. I thought I’d google places to eat in Denton and The Fletchers Arms popped up at the top of the list. Firstly my son is called Fletcher, that was a sign, and then seeing over 2.2k good reviews was another good sign. I decided to book, I had no joy online so though I’d call, I wasn’t hopeful as it was Valentines night. When I called I was answered by a lovely member of staff that was very helpful, I was told that as it was Valentines night I could book for 4, as usually it’s a walk in service for less than 6 guests. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and taken to a round booth style table by Tom. We all decided we were going to have the carvery, and after our long day travelling we upgraded to the larger plate. We haven’t experienced a carvery other than the famous chain that start with a T and ends with a Y. We ordered with Tom, he then gave us a ticket so we could go to be served. We all went together to the hatch, there we were warmly greeted by the server, I believe he was called Mike, what a top guy! We were talked through the meats etc and Mike served us well, while having a chat and we said how nice it was there. The food was incredible, plentiful and with a good variety, It was all home cooked, and not mass produced like some places. We were all so stuffed we shared one dessert between us, the Biscoff Cheeses cake, that too was incredible. The atmosphere was so nice and warm, we stayed at our table, had a drink and listened to the live music for a bit. I would highly recommend a visit here, and we will come again when in the area, extremely good value for money too. Thanks for a nice evening.

Came in this evening for my partners birthday and what a great evening we had! We were a table of 13 and the table was all put together for us and they had put the balloon and banner up for us that I had dropped off earlier. Service by Alice was amazing.. the food arrived all hot and all together and was enjoyed by all.. my partner had the steak and said it was perfect. I had the carvery and was very impressed with the selection and was all hot. They also brought out the cake I dropped off earlier and sang happy birthday with us. 10/10 for both Service and food. And special thanks to Alice for her service and the rest of the team .

We booked in for Christmas Eve, it was busy when we arrived and our table was still occupied but the staff asked us to wait in the bar area and they’d come and get us which they did and kept us updated until then. It was very busy as expected but the service was great, Josh in particular is a credit to the place. 3 of us had carvery and the other ordered off the menu so they advised us when that meal was nearly ready so we could all eat together. The carvery was excellent and the chef was generous in his portion sizes. One of the best carveries in the area and reasonably priced.

Barely any items left on the menu, food felt Like it was left over and poor service from Staff. Table booked for 12 people At 6 but wasn’t available to 6.20, to immediately be told They were closing at 8. Felt the service of care was poor and rushed so they could leave early. Poor by all standards !!

The wonderful staff at The Fletchers, managed to fit us in on Boxing day at short notice. Gorgeous food and excellent service given to us by Jacqui and Dan at the bar. We will be returning again soon, as we may have found our new local in this gem.

This is a gem of a place. Sat in the main pub area as restaurant already packed out five minutes after opening! We had an issue with the food - staff were so apologetic and remedied issue immediately plus complimentary drinks for the minor inconvenience… Will definitely be coming here regularly from now on - amazing place!

We went on a busy Sunday afternoon The gentleman on the desk took our name and asked us to find a seat until a table came available It only took 15 min Plenty of quick helpful bar staff Great beer We had the carvery , I had beer and Chinese pork Loads of roast potatoes and other veg Yorkshire pudding excellent Gravy beautiful We weren’t rushed away from our table What a great afternoon,wonderful polite helpful staff Fantastic carvery

Came for the Christmas Menu. Lovely food, no scrimping on the meat, really good amounts, and the Christmas pudding with brandy sauce perfect. We were a party of 7 and everyone enjoyed the meal and desserts. 1st visit today, but I would definitely go back.

Reliable consistently good food

Great evening from the very warm welcome on arrival from a couple of lovely members of staff to the excellent food and service received. We hadn't booked a table and were prepared to wait for one to come free but that was no issue the staff accommodated us straight away. The lovely Jacqui looked after us during the duration of our evening and nothing was too much trouble for her. The food was fantastic I had the Leek and Potato soup, Sirloin Steak and Cheesecake and everything was absolutely spot on. We'll definately be visiting again in the future. 😉👍

Fantastic food. Dined there 3 weeks ago and left just as full and happy then as tonight.

I attended with a couple of friends on Tues 29th Oct 24. Our server was a young girl called Zara who was new to the job. She was polite, smiling and couldn’t do enough for us. Well done Zara . An asset to The Fletchers. 👌🤞👌

Perfection, the meal, the staff and the service could not have been better, we were a party of 10 and the staff treated us to table service, we will be back.

A very nice place, ample parking. There is plenty of choice on the food menu,but it is a little pricey. It can be tricky for a disabled person! I had my elderly mother with me who has to use a walker. It was rather tricky navigating our way through all of the tables and chairs. Definitely worth a visit.

Lamb was just melting in the mouth and so tasty.

Food was good staff were friendly and helpful, nice cosy pub

Visit here when we have family reunions ,about twice a year..we wouldn't meet anywhere else.. try it you won't be disappointed

10/10. We went Sunday at 3:30pm . Atmosphere - fab ! Food - amazing ! Service - even better !! Staff couldn’t do enough , they was amazing with my children & everyone else. Definitely recommend the carvery / chicken tikka Balti curry /fish & chips/ lasagne & pizza !! Can’t wait to go back

Beer is too,,, bloody expensive, crazy prices

Been twice in the last few months and see my self going again, amazing food, amazing staff and last time I was there they had live music.

I met a friend today for an overdue catchup. We were greeted by Josh, he was professional, friendly, helpful and attentive throughout our visit. A credit to your company. The food was delicious and every member of staff was polite. Thank you

Really big carvery to be fair. Tge meat filled my plate. And the Yorkshires are huge. Needless to say we had to take some home in a box. Great value for money. Think maybe one thing missing in robbies pubs. And that's Brains Rev james on the guest cask slot.

Food was just ok nothing over the top but didn't help getting the food without any knife and forks they forgot to bring them lol ... But little moan would of been nice to have been ask if we was OK with the service charge... Point I mean to make I dont mind tipping if we have good service and the staff are friendly am always tipping but thats my chance but to have it put on the bill without asking are you ok about it well thats a different story there was 3 off us eating and we wasn't in there long would just over a hour .. the service charge was £ 8. 93 and yes I know its a small amount but if I want to tip then its upto me to see what I tip not what the restaurant says ...

We came are as we were in Manchester for a concert in the weekend the food was amazing and the service from Josh was amazing we liked it so much we even came back with the rest of the group the next day. They catered well for Gluten free and the pub was modern and very nicely done but the food had a home made feel. Thank you Fletchers arms and Josh for a great service.

Always wanted to go here but as you do one thing and another never happens. So my son wanted to go for his 21st birthday so we called in the week before and booked a table . Staff were great and helpful. On the day we booked arrived in plenty of time table was ready and staff were great. ordered drink while we were deciding on what everyone wanted. Drinks arrived staff asked if we was ready to order gave us another 5 mins or so then returned and took the order. Various dishes ordered including a few Carveries. Timing of other food arriving to the carvery food was great. All food was tasty and hot even had room for desert and that was just as good. My daughter had had a cake made for my son the staff brought the cake sang happy birthday and supplied us with plates and a rather large knife. I found the cost of the whole meal that included drinks was very reasonable. Everyone enjoyed the meal and a great time was had by us all. Looking forward to returning with the family again on Friday 4th October and hopefully another good review will be added.

Charlotte ruined the experience, from the minute we walked in she was rude, bad mouthing customers that could clearly hear her when I commented on her manners she walked off and said “we’ll see who’s laughing when I spit in your food” then continued to give us and others dirty looks the whole night. Ruined my opinion on the Fletchers Arms completely

First time here. Cheese and onion pie with mash was yummy. Fish and chips yummy and chicken pie yummy. Two cheese cakes and apple crumble. again yummy. Staff were friendly and atmosphere good. We will be back.

We called in yesterday after attending a funeral. We hadn't booked, but the staff went all out to accommodate us. The food was excellent,service was exceptional. We will definitely call in again when in the area. Thank you to your wonderful team

Scammers they tried to steal my card and I believe they’re related to other group of scammers not based in UK

Lovely refurb of a go to pub for meet ups with a friend. Menu and carvery superb and a good drink menu. Never had reason to speak to staff about any issues. My only negative is one of our party travels further to visit and you cannot book tables for less than a group of 4 or 5. Regardless we have sat at the lovely bar waiting for a table that didn't take ages. A great venue

Staff friendly, food quality good and served quickly. Nice layout and atmosphere inside. Plenty of parking.

The Best Carvery I've Ever Had!!!

Lovely pub, with some really nice items on the menu - check the lamb and feta burger. Staff were great & a good drink range. I was in midweek, after lunch & there were still quite a few people in, which was a nice change. Definitely be back when in that direction.

Lovely place, we had the carvery it was delicious, plenty of veg options, good choice of meats the char sui pork was a nice addition, all very enjoyable.

Lovely staff, the food is good but very expensive for pub food, £16.50 for the carvery, and £16 for chicken pie and chips, with drinks and a starter it turned into and expensive day,

Visited on Sunday for a family meal, we had 2 servers and both were super lovely and helpful. They had sold out of both my main and dessert options, however I had the lamb kofta which was very juicy and cooked amazingly, the salted caramel cake which was a huge portion and the actual salted caramel flavours came through chocolate cake. Will absolutely Visit again. Mexican lime spritzer hit the spot too 👌

I didn't think the food we had was worth the price it was the burgers had no taste and to me were not cooked properly I asked for the bacon to be crispy it wasn't cooked properly and it was fatty my sons pizza he said tasted like eating cardboard but having to cut it up yourself I think is a bit much. The apple crumble was more apple hardly any crumble and the portion was way to big we are not in America. And the chairs were so uncomfortable that we were sat at I am sorry but not the kind of place I would go to again unless you get a proper chef.

One of the worst carverys I've had. Meat was just about edible but the veg was awful, undercooked and lacking in choice. Potatoes were hard. God knows what the onion thing was but if will attempt to blow your head off and ruin any taste that's left in your meal. Maybe they should label the dishes to avoid confusion. I had to ask what the choice of meat was as there was no real way of telling. I guessed on the colour of gammon so scored myself 1/3, higher than I would score this meal. Another thing about this place. They will add a service charge to your meal even though I served myself as it was a carvery!

A lovely friendly pub, that is known for its carvery. Staff are always pleasant, friendly, efficient and courteous. You can take your wife, mother, grandparent or children, it's for everyone. Best pub in the area by far. Ample car park. Thoroughly recommended and have visited on numerous occasions.

Thought over priced and very very careful with meat portion

Staff were lovely and so helpful. Always making sure we had everything we needed. Sitting out in the garden at the back was an ideal way to enjoy the sunshine.

Nice meal unfortunately no salt came with the condiments and nobody to ask also we should have had taziki with our meal bit we dident realise till we had finished, but the food was nice but no one came to ask if everything was OK like they usually do.

As always the Fletchers provides great food and top notch service.

Was okay, not the best. A bit stingy on the carvery meat considering not many people in. Service a bit slow, we had to keep going up to the till to order. Apart from that the food was nice.x

Great food and great service, one of my favourites!

Heard how good the carvery was here, so bitterly disappointed when l found that although the meats were cooked to a satisfactory standard everything else was dried up and hard, including the Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes. There were no stand out features here, and l will have to be desperate before returning.

Really lovely carvery! Love that they have a good selection of meat to choose from including their exclusive Chinese pork! It’s super busy, so we ended up using the bar ourselves rather than waiting for orders to be taken at table. But still 5 stars overall, Only gave 4 for service as we served ourselves and would have been nice to have been checked in at by the table. The food is amazing thou and you are so generous with your portions! Kids friendly too so that’s a bonus!

Went in for a carvery and the food was low having to scratch around for some items. The condiments were empty and scruffy. Just after we finished our desserts and still having drinks on the table the girl came up and asked us to vacate the table as they wanted it for someone else. As it was a two hour slot for the table and we had only been there for one and a half hours I wasn't happy with it after spending £150.00.. certainly won't be going back there.
