Lovely people, but me and my partner got very bad food poisoning from a mixed kebab last night

definitely worth a visit, place is clean, food freshly cooked and staff are friendly..... got to be the best in Ledbury. have used Quality fish and chips for many years and always get great service and quality

Out on a motorcycle ride with a pal and called in just before they closed. Super smiling service and lovely chips, and a nice little park next door to enjoy them in.

Great food. Well run and always immaculately clean. I wouldn't contemplate going anywhere else. Love the mixed meat and chips with salad and hot chilli sauce. 👍

When the food is fresh it's fantastic, you can't beat the fish and chips, crispy batter and great food. Only negative is I wish they did a delivery service, this would then be perfect

Ok but fish smaller and batter sticks to paper they use meaning batter peels off & stays on paper when unwrapped. Much smaller portions of chips. Maybe this is to keep prices down. Have used this fish & chip shop many times but disappointed on this occasion. And wish they wouldn't use planet unfriendly polystyrene trays - totally unnecessary.

Good fish and chips but pick your time as they can get very busy.

The chips were nice but really small portions (ordered a large, recieved what appeared to be a small) and the nuggets were cold. Think the rest of the food was okay.

These are the best chips we have had in Hereford. Exactly how we like them.

Started badly not taking card payments. Making my gravy granules in a polystyrene cup in front of me for my chips wasn't that appetising. Screens broken above the counter. Chips were ok could have done with 2 more minutes

Absolutely appalling quality. They must be too m an to throw a sausage away or have questionable storage. I woke up at 0200 shivering violently and vomiting. Ie food poisoning. This was all I’d eaten so it had to be this. Never again!

Top Chippy, came in bank holiday. Service was really quick and the food was even better.

Carnival day. The other 2 higher scoring chip shops in Ledbury were either shut or had run out of chips. Third choice was Quality f&c. 3 of us had 2 large cod and small chips and 1 sausage and small chips. None of us finished our keals as portions were large. More importantly... I would say, and my wife would agree, that this was among the top 3 fish and chips we'd had in memory. Chips tasted lovely (i suspect the type of oil used). Fish was meaty, hot and really tasty. Batter was thin and crispy, even after travelling 2 miles with their chips in a car. ... And the ppl serving were really pleasant.

Been using Quality fish and chips in ledbury for a very very long time and yes you may get the odd soggy chip or hard bit in your kebab in 1 out of 15 meals but thats a far better statistic than alot of other chippys across Hereford and Worcester.

Excellent chips really excellent ,the sausage was not the best plus minimum 10 pound spend on card is a negative otherwise, the best opening hours and fairly descent food worth a try on Sunday nights .

Gone downhill a bit but the prices are rediculous. Far too expensive

Not impressed at all with this. Chips were anaemic. Fish was small (ordered a large). Put salt and vinegar without asking. Placed the pie face down on the chips so when we got home the pastry was soggy. Not pleased with the way they spoke to the younger clients in at the same time to order. Won't go again. Literally the worst F&C experience I have ever had.

Not nice at all ...they don't know how to make gravy although it's on the menu Chips were awful and the Donna kebab meat was full of bits ....truly awful and a waste of money....it all went in the bin

Outstanding fish and chips. We have two large cod and two small chips and it is always freshly cooked, piping hot and absolutely scrumptious.

Awful food on Saturday 17th April having gone to get lunch for me and my children greasy chips like mush and the sausages was awful

I went into the chip shop on Thursday evening and the staff were very friendly, really chatty, food was fresh, and quick, I don't live in ledbury but would dedfinalty travel their to have chip shop again .

Been going here when visiting my granddad for probably 30 years! Still going strong.

I was in Ledbury for only a few hours and when my stomach rumbled I thought fish and chips. There are three in the town centre and I chose this one as it looked the busiest. I always go for the busy chippy, the food will always be fresher. The prices were good, the menu as expected for a chippy but the staff were chatty and friendly and that makes the short wait interesting when you are just a visitor. A chip shop is a place to find out about the locality or get the gossip. The food was excellent and it’s great to see happy smiling staff behind the counter. I believe it stays open really late and you are also able to eat in as well as take away.

Tasty chips - a little place to stop on the way through the town.

I came here a couple of days ago to grab some dinner as a takeaway and had a double cheeseburger and small chips the portion was massive and tasty, chips excellent had to share the portion all this came to just over £6 well worth it will come again when I am in the area.

Great Fish and Chips and speedy service.

Budget fish and chips is the best way to describe this take away and restaurant. The Cod and chips we had were ok, I've had better I've had worst. Service was good and the food was served nice and hot.

Had cod and chips twice with drinks reasonable priced at £15 and they were average the actual restaurant is very small and doesn't look that great and they was served on plastic trays. The staff were very helpful and not too far from centre.

How this chip shop survives is beyond me. £2 portion of chips is small! Very SMALL! It's worth a drive into Malvern to the Food Factory in Barnards Green what a difference. Huge portion of chips similar price. The cod is enormous and hangs over the tray!! Wow. We are definitely driving the extra for a decent portion next time!

The quality of food as poor as the service. Really disappointed, always thought it was good but now not so. The price for what little was given...awful!

No complaints on the fish- though the chips were quite greedy and not nice- left a horrible feeling and taste in my mouth. But I saw them drop a frozen sausage, picked it off the floor, then chucked it in the fryer. I'm afraid that is a big no no!

My husband was on his way back through Ledbury at lunchtime and I had hungry builders to feed so I rang and placed an order and it was ready for him to collect when he arrived. They were very helpful and accommodating and they are my favourite fish and chip shop in the town

Rapid service and good freshly cooked fish and chips. Other food is available. Little waiting and tasty food with crispy batter. All in all a good experience. Parking is a problem.

A good range of options, varieties of fish, other options to have with chips or potato fritters. Mushy beans and baked beans and pickles also available.

A very decent fish and chip shop located in a central and very convenient position on the bridge in Ledbury.The guys in there are friendly and efficient, and the place is clean. The chips are of a good quality, but the burgers are the real highlight. They are always very tasty and well-cooked, with a good range of salad fillings. The fish can be a little average however, and is admittedly done better in other places in town such as The Codfather and The One Up The Alley.All in all, a very solid and dependable place to purchase that most traditional of English foods, with a good phone service also being available.
