Shuts way before time it states with no warning so left hungry lots of times

First time visiting, and it won't be the last! You know it's going to be good when the counter is stacked full, and there is a queue out the door. Staff were very friendly, and welcoming. Food was great with meal deals, and proper chips!

Top fish and chips. Very good staff and decent prices. Unlike some chippies this is great value and excellent fish and chips.

Bought a chicken kebab and it was absolutely awful. the meat was completely burnt and inedible. How could they serve this knowing it wasn't fit to eat. I won't be buying any food from them again.

Very busy in the shop but I was discussed that I got charged £7:20 for 1 peice of fish no chips no nothing just a fish I think that price is a bit of a joke will not be going there again.

Seriously, this is an institution, the traditional place to go for fish & chips in Leo! Passed by 9.30pm feeling so peckish & popped in for fish & chips en route home. Delicious! The staff are so good, if there's a queue it evaporates in just a minute!

Bought fish and chips, curry sauce and mushy peas to take away. Very friendly and helpful staff and food was really good. Just to note they do accept card payments over £10.

Always come here and fantastic but my son just called in at 8 pm an hour before closing. The chips were dry and bits as if been there all day and the fish was dry and inside looked dry and I could not eat it . I could not cook asi cant move with a pulled muscle. Not happy....

Fast, fantastic fish & big fat chips served in a sturdy cardboard box. There is always a queue all the way outside, but they have plenty of experienced staff who keep things moving, just remember to listen out when they shout 'next'. Smells like a good chippy should.

Great Fish! Recently did a large order for a local social club. 26 meals. Good value, on time, friendly staff and throughly enjoyed by all. Easy 5 stars!

stop here on the way back from the Midlands after visiting relatives. Best fish and chips I've tasted in a long time. Very generous portions too. Easy to park as there is a free car park to the rear. Can't fault them.

Ithought I'd give this chippy another chance after a previous problem. I only ordered chips as I wanted a basic snack. The trouble was they hadn't been cooked long enough and some were almost raw. Also they were rather dry so not very pleasant but the dog ate them.

It is what it is a standard, sensibly priced chippy with a full range on the menu of kebabs burgers and the usual chippy stuff

A bit disappointing ! 5 people behind the counter and only 1 person serving . Clearly customer service is non existance here . Chips like sratchings . Fish nice but greasy!

Asked for gravey which was plonked on the chips instead of being served separately. The chips and gravey had congealed into a slimy mess which was disgusting and I threw them away. They served the food in an expanded polystyrene tray so they obviously care little for the environment and their customers health. Won't be going back.

Good reputation but owner couldn't be arsed to make 2 burgers 15 minutes before closing, ended up having battered sausages instead, found the batter to be a bit greasy. Girl serving was nice and very pleasant. Hopefully better next time.

My family have been enjoying Dimarco's since the 80's. It's always been very nice, great food and brilliant staff. I have many fond memories of this establishment especially having a big plate of sit down fish and chips with my brother after a long cold cycle, it was heaven, it's my number one food memory. You guys are the best.

Meals are always good but only one small issue is the chips are almost the tatty end bits when you go around 5 - 6pm but that's the chance you take anywhere you go

Never had bad food from here, some of the best fish and chips i ha e ever eaten, the chicken strips are to die for too. Portion size is massive so if you're hungry no worries. Highly recommend this place.

We have been back here on and off over the years, so that's a good start! I live near to Merthyr Tydfil so am not in this neck of the woods that often. However this is our fish&chip shop of choice when we are in the area. Believe me you can do a lot worse than this place. I have only one gripe, when you ask for 'fish&chips' that's what you get, right? Ah! but what you don't get is COD&chips. What you actually get is POLLACK&chips. Pollack is usually about 1/2 the price of cod when, as I do buy it from a fish mongers. Nevertheless. I shall continue to use them. (I shall be in there on Saturday the 13th Dec 2020) But I can't resist giving them a 'I know it's pollack look & and nod when leaving...'

I have been a patron for many years. It's usually a busy place and has done pretty well in lockdown. Always pleasant and friendly. Try their all chicken Dimarco special £6.50 which is a chicken kebab with chips salad and sauce. It's a portion for 2.

Fish and chips.. Chips ok albeit a bit soggy. Fish so awful, dry and tasteless and could not eat it, so threw away. Chicken strips and chips.. . Chicken dripping in grease with outer coating soggy. Grease also made the chips slimy. Ewww Didn’t even try them and threw away. 2 hungry people here!

The shop is clean and spotless, the staff are friendly, the fish is cooked to perfection. The only down side is the size of the portions of chips, one portion is normally enough for two. Social distancing is excellent

Best fish and chips outside Hereford..

I travel around the country a lot (or did) and I have tried many chippies and this is amongst the best, certainly the best in Herefordshire.I normally eat in and the value and service are simply excellent. I have never tried a take-away so I can't comment on that.

I work all over the country and have a takeaway every night your kebab has to be the smallest kebab I've had in my life 5 pound for about a pound worth of meat and 50 pence worth of salad I'm down here for the next 6 month but you wont get another penny from me

Went for some chips on a Saturday night at about 10pm, got a half chicken thrown in for only 20p! Obviously the best fish and chips in the whole town.

Best chip shop in Herefordshire

Called by the first time today and only ordered a portion of chips. However, they were piping hot, crispy and not greasy. Up there with some of the best chips that we have had. We will be back to try the fish soon.

Quite greasy and soggy chips! Prices keep creeping up and up. Batter getting too thick and greasy. Used to be much better quality, many other fish and chip shops much better now. Best in Herefordshire is now Edwards in Hereford - fantastic quality!

Very pleased with our fish and chips last night, particularly as they were wrapped in paper, no polystyrene or plastic. Just need to find something more eco for the mushy peas. Also serves cod roe, which I am really pleased about as not many places do. Always very good service.
