Recently visited for a friend’s 40th birthday - the entire night was fantastic. Service, food and all the live singers/band, we didnt want the night to end!

Absolutely fantastic afternoon. The food was really good. However, as a regular visitor, I would like to see the menu change a little more often. The staff were amazing, especially Paloma, our waitress who was very attentive. Music was also really good.

Atmosphere and vibe of this place is glamorous like their dress code. The service from our waitress was excellent and she was honest about the menu when I asked questions. Never waited long for drinks, and overall I had a great night. However, when we spent £300 per person, this comes with expectations which were not met in my opinion. 1) We were reminded that our table was for 2 hours only, twice. Felt rushed to order mains, and after dessert was asked to move to the bar. 2) The entertainment was on and off, for a Friday evening 7:30 onwards, I had the expectation that it would be all night. 3) Food was okay but not special, with no 'oh wow thats delicious' moments amongst our group. Starters were good. Caviar was good, and condiments nicely prepared. Mains, Fillet steak was perfectly cooked but no flavour at all, perhaps not aged long enough or lack of seasoning. Whole Duck was seasoned nicely, but cooked so uneven, with half of 1 breast raw, the other perfect. Surely this should be sous vide to temperature then roasted for texture. Desserts were enjoyable, and well presented. Drink selection is very good, including a wide range of wines and spirits. Bar staff was also very accommodating, friendly and quick service.

Myself and a few friends went to Quaglinos for St David’s Day and wow we genuinely could not fault it! Delicious food (had the st David’s day menu), the cocktails were genuinely the most delicious I’ve probably ever tasted and the band were incredible had everyone up dancing. Thanks to the team for a wonderful night and looking after us so well, we felt very special! Would definitely recommend for a fun night out or any special occasion!

Awful experience at Quaglinos. Came for the brunch and we were told there would be vegan options, was served olives and lettuce and they charged £45 for it. Everyone else's meal bang average too. Avoid, there's so many better places in London than this overpriced garbage.

Quaglino’s exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel truly valued. Despite not having a booking, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us, ensuring we had a wonderful experience. The service was impeccable—attentive, kind, and professional. The bartenders were fantastic, guiding us through the drinks menu and keeping our glasses perfectly topped up. The atmosphere was lively yet elegant, making it the perfect place to celebrate. We can’t wait to return for supper next time. Highly recommend!

The night was supposed to be special as it was not only the first valentines with my partner but also her birthday. When emailing about her birthday and the availability for a cake or similar this was coldly ignored and I just received an email back from the reservations manager that the deposit had been received. No response or acknowledgment of my request (even if it wasn’t possible). This should have been a warning sign on things to come. When arriving on the night we were walked to our table, and once sat realised our table was very wobbly - not the tolerable kind. We waited 20 minutes before my partner - on her birthday - had to go up to the front desk to report this and also ask for someone to even come and serve us water… about 5 minutes after returning from the front desk the server came and simply asked us “are you ready to order” without any greeting, we informed them that we haven’t even had water yet. The manager came to see us shortly after and tried to fix the table and kindly gift us a glass of bubbly each. The table still wasn’t fixed, I myself tried to fix it and then we had to get up to report this again, to which we were told someone would return which they never did. After waiting ridiculously long time to receive our starters we realized we were not severed our first course (amuse) and of course had to seek out help to report this again. No one checked in on us during the starter or main. We had one check in after our starter. Every interaction with waiting staff had to be sought after, I’ve never been one to complain and it pains me to write this but it was a horrible experience on a day that was supposed to be so special. After eating our lukewarm mains, a manager came to ask how we were and my partner had to let out her frustrations. With 10 minutes left of the set being performed we were seated at the front - which was nice for 10 minutes while having dessert - before having to wait again for 30 minutes to get the bill. My partner was ignored by everyone so she had to get up again to try and find some help. When we received the bill the deposit wasn’t removed, and indeed, the above average 15% service charge was left on that we had to ask to ask to be removed. Normally we are all for tipping above the average and we felt so embarrassed having to ask for this to be removed but it was the worst night I could have imagined. Also the man (I think one of the managers) when taking payment was rude and actually, scoffed at us. I would have taken more photos and videos but alas we just didn’t even get time to enjoy ourselves and have proper wine and drinks with our meal (as no one would check on us) it just felt like 3 hours of having to tolerate a dreadful service while waiting for food.

Arrived for our friends birthday at 6pm, atmosphere was good, was sat down and ordered drinks many drinks to choose from no issues there. We ordered our food it wasn’t the greatest for the price the restaurant was charging for it, after ordering starters, mains and continuous drinks at 7.40 pm we was told we was not aloud to see the dessert menu and we had no choice but to leave the table, we was disgusted with how we was treated we hadn’t even been at the table for 2 hours and was being told to move on. I would not recommend this place to anyone as the way we wasn’t treated for an expensive venue was nothing but disgusting avoid and if you do venture there don’t get your hopes up for nice food as your be very disappointed. J

Overpriced for what you get. But lovely ambiance and space

This is my second time at Quaglino, and unfortunately, it was worse than the first. The front desk staff were not professional, making us feel unwelcome. They seated us at a table near the toilets, so we couldn’t see the live band. There were many tiny flies. Also, if you request another drink, you will wait at least 10 minutes. I ordered a medium-well steak, but they served me a well-done one. I would rate the overall service a 5 out of 10.

The food was exceptional, the live music perfectly fit the vibe of the evening. Our server Giuseppe was amazing and did a great job serving us, would definitely come again.

Gorgeous restaurant but was so disappointed when we visited on a Sunday only to find they only offer a Sunday Roast Menu at 8pm ! Did not expect this from a fine dining restaurant, only pubs do this! This is not stated anywhere on the website either so we left. Be aware if you are looking to dine on Sundays …

Great venue with a good vibe with live music. We had excellent service from Giuseppe & Gedeon who looked after us all evening! Would recommend to anyone looking for a top restaurant in this area.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Quaglino’s, and it was an unforgettable experience. Giuseppe was incredibly attentive and made sure my evening was perfect from start to finish. The food was beautifully presented—every dish was a delight. I especially loved the mushroom starter, which was full of flavor. For the main course, the chinch with its wonderful sauce was absolutely delicious. The crème brûlée was out of this world, perfectly creamy with a delicate caramelized top. To top it all off, they brought me a separate pudding with a candle and even sang me a birthday song—such a thoughtful touch! The live music added to the ambiance and made the evening even more special. Highly recommend this place for any occasion!

Shocking behaviour from the manager and staff. If you are female please be careful. Female friends were touched by sleezy men last night and when complained to staff, they weren’t interested. Police ended up being called. Will not be going back!!!!!! And if if you are female I wouldn’t either. You’re not believed, you’re not helped and shocking behaviour from all their staff especially the manager who claimed about having to get out of bed more than what actually happened. SHOCKING!!!!!!

This place is so magical and beautiful. I’ve been here many times and still I’m keep coming! Sasha was brilliant on my last visit. Only thing that I can say is, they need to improve their food menu. It should have been more delightful mains instead of many vegetarian dishes. And new starters please.

Worth every penny! An amazing evening of first class entertainment and high quality food. Service was on point, although they were strict on the 2 hour time allocation per table however they did accommodate us at the bar side for drinks and entertainment after our dining slot. Would highly recommend the fillet steak with the green peppercorn sauce and the oysters were fresh and delicious. We had a bottle of champagne and a cocktail at the bar! The bar tender was incredibly enthusiastic and would make any cocktail you desired. Celebrations or special occasions I would highly recommend!

Been using this established for over 20 years. Never been disappointed absolutely fantastic service our waitress for the evening was Monica. She was so polite and really looked after us. Had the most amazing steak I highly recommend Quaglino's. Thank you will be back hopefully soon!

Whole venue is quite impressive, live music was the highlight. Lovely and very talented singers. I guess that’s what you go there for. We went on Saturday night and maybe that wasn’t a great choice. Customers on other tables were strange- kind of influencers and “show off” people vibe. Bathrooms turned into recording studio for insta stories, quite ridiculous. Food was very average for the price. I had Venison and that’s the only dish we liked. Fish was overcooked and impossible to eat ( after notifying waiter he said that’s how it’s cooked, hasn’t done anything about it, after second time I asked for manager then he reacted and offered new dish instead) I guess service in place like that, busy Saturday night and live music is hard but definitely shouldn’t be rushed and ignored like that. Poor starters, no wine topping. We skipped desserts. Overall nice music and vibe but nothing else. Avoid going there on Saturday night. I think it can be much better during the week.

I wouldn’t recommend Quaglino’s. The live music and band were fantastic, but that’s about the only positive. The service was horrible – staff were all over, and everything we ordered arrived extremely late and mixed up. The cocktails were poorly made, the roasted halibut was overly salty, and my friend’s steak, ordered medium well, arrived completely rare. Overall, a very disappointing experience, and I won’t be going back.

A Stylish Evening at Quaglino's with Room for Improvement We visited Quaglino’s yesterday to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and it was certainly a memorable experience. The menu offers a fantastic selection of dishes, and the drinks menu is equally impressive, with plenty of variety to suit all tastes. We ordered steak and oysters, and the quality was exceptional – everything was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. It’s clear that the culinary team takes great care with their ingredients and preparation. That said, there were a few areas where the experience could have been better. The service, while polite, was quite slow – we waited an hour and a half for our food to arrive. Additionally, it seemed we always had to search for our waiter for refills or any additional requests. Unfortunately, this meant we only had one drink during our three-hour visit, which felt like a missed opportunity to enjoy more of their great cocktails. While the live music was truly fantastic and created a lively ambiance, it was so loud that having a conversation was nearly impossible. It’s a shame because the atmosphere is wonderful, but the volume made it challenging to connect with our group. Turning it down just a notch would make a world of difference. As expected for a restaurant of this calibre, the prices are on the higher side, so it’s worth being prepared for a more indulgent outing. Food average, service average. Music far too loud for a smart restaurant. It’s like a disco not a classy place to have dinner with friends. Very very disappointing

Our booking has sadly been cancelled a week before due to “a private hire event”. We got offered a pitiful glass of bubbles if we re booked with their sister venue. This booking has been in place for two months and we have booked a hotel nearby too as we live in the midlands. It was for my birthday celebration and one of the few places that we could enjoy guaranteed entertainment and bring our young daughter along too. With one week to go, we have to find a different restaurant that will fit the bill. What a complete disappointment and such an odd state of affairs to cancel bookings at such short notice. Do they simply just hire this place out at the drop of a hat with no regard to the disappointment that would cause others and the reputation that they will get for it? Very bad service to match some of the recent reviews on here, without even stepping foot in the place!

We reserved a table on a Saturday evening for the January set menu, advertised on the website. When we arrived we were told that the menu was only valid during the week, this confused us because four of us had checked the website and seen that the set menu was valid at weekends. On arrival at the restaurant the staff insisted it was only valid during the week. We later checked our internet history and found the menu which did state it was valid on the weekend. We were left without a table on a Saturday evening and embarrassed in front of our guests that we had made a mistake (which it turned out we hadn’t). What is most frustrating is how the staff in the restaurant lied to us, making us feel like we had made a mistake when we hadn’t.

The place was good but they can manage the food and the orders in a busy Saturday now, to bad the place is only a visit for cocktails not food.

Excellent welcome with a attentive waiter and many extras offered. A lot of waiting time between dishes, but which passes very quickly, made up for by the perfect performance of the singers. The portions are quite small but we enjoyed ourselves, I recommend

I can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to visit again soon!

I found a deal for a set menu online, which clearly shows that can be used on a weekend. Contacted the restaurant, who stated it was not despite it clearly showing no restrictions. Sent the menu, but person in the restaurant refused to allow the booking. Avoid this place.

The food was poor and the service matched! We have been here a few times and always enjoyed it but not this time unfortunately. No idea what has gone on but a wasted £400. The only positive was the singers who we really enjoyed

This a generous three out of five, we booked on line a week before our booking at the restaurant, we were telephoned at 14.00 for a 16.00 booking for six people and told the kitchen was closing at 16.15 and we needed to come earlier, this stressed us as we were at the theatre, it was not possible for us to go any earlier, we tried to return the telephone call and no one bothered to answer!!!! This entire set of actions stressed us and took any excitement out of going to the restaurant. When we arrived at the restaurant early we were seated at a very poor table next to the kitten squashed into the far right of the restaurant with a few other dinners, three members of our party had the back to the onstage entertainment which was not necessary as the restaurant was empty. The view of three of our dinners was of a dirty net curtain which was badly hung across windows which we assumed were to the kitchen, this did offer some amusement as we played identify the food splatters on the grotty net curtain. The food was OK however we felt very rushed to leave the restaurant as most of the staff left and it was very clear they wanted to close. The restaurant should NOT have taken our booking if the plan was always to close early or was it just the staff on duty who simply could not be bothered about the guests and just wanted to go home. All in all a very poor experience

Terrible experience, customer service was like a mcdonalds store , not attentive, our plates were left on table for 15 minutes not taken, food terrible for price the steak was tasteless , overall would not recommend at all, it was my wife's birthday, ruined the night, avoid at all cost, I have been their 4 years previously was good then, but now horrible.

One of the best and special restaurants

This restaurant doesn't even deserve a one-star review. The service was either non-existent or downright pathetic, and the food was somehow even worse--overcooked, excessively salty, and utterly flavorless, served in meager portions. When staff did appear, their attitude was rude, dismissive, and snotty. The ambiance was dreadful--perhaps if they managed to attract customers, they could afford to turn on the heat. The management is completely incompetent. Overall, this place is a waste of time, money, and effort. If you enjoy horrible food and rude service, by all means, visit this London dungeon. Otherwise, even a cheap takeout at a fast food restaurant is a far better option.

This is one of the best restaurants in London. Yes it’s expensive but the quality of the food, service and ambience is outstanding.

Food was good, but overall experience was disappointing. Our table was booked for 8.30pm, but starters didn't arrive until 9.45pm. Desserts weren't served until after 11pm, which was too late for those of us catching the last train

Lovely Sunday roast! Great food and entertainment as always

Went there for our anniversary. The service started amazing, very polite and attentive, once we got our table, ( 20:30 ) on the dot we were totally ignored by floor staff, I had to go and get one ( not exaggerating ) Our order was taken at 21:10 ( 40 minutes after we were seated ). We had to wait another 20 minute to receive our drink and starter. Our main courses were ready in the kitchen but no one brought it to us, I had to go again and get someone to serve us which was around 23:00 almost 2h after we were seated. Once the food came to our table all the food was cold including the steak. I was afraid to raise the issue because if it took 2h to receive a cold steak, how long would I wait if it was replaced ? The reason why we've booked at 20:30 is to be surrounded by people, we ended up eating with 2 tables left in the whole restaurant. Requested the bill very dissatisfied, again did not come I had to go and get someone to give me the bill so I've requested the service charge to be removed without even seeing the bill and they've said "one second my manager will come" the lady who gave us the bill came and left a piece of paper in a leather pouch without saying a word. We paid around 300 for some cold food. I do not want to sound dishonest, their seafruit cocktail almost £40 doesnt even worth £10. 3 small tiger prawns on the shell and a spoon of baby shrimp salade. However the steak, despite being cold, was excellent. Horrible experience overall, it's a shame as the venue is extraordinary we will not visit again nor recommend.

We came here for a post Christmas lunch,and it did not disappoint The ambience was very classy and very deceptive looking. Once inside, you are greeted by a very polite front of the house. The service was flawless, and the food was very tasty, and the drinks were amazing. There was a very entertaining jazz band that afternoon, which added to a great atmosphere. I am looking forward to taking family and friends in the very near future

I visited the place and I was overwhelmed by the service specially by the bartender "Jinay" who was great.

Had a sirloin steak and a fillet which were both so bland and pretty pricey! Starter was a “fancy prawn cocktail” was nice but nothing special. Service wasn’t great and the food took ages to come out! A bottle of champagne was on our bill that we didn’t order, that had to be removed. Entertainment was good but to be charged an additional £5 per person for it felt cheeky given the price and on top of service charge. Beautiful decor but wouldn’t come back.

We recently visited this restaurant, and while it had some positives, the overall experience was disappointing. The location was beautiful, and the ambiance was inviting with a warm and cozy vibe. The live music added a nice touch, but unfortunately, it was far too loud, making it difficult to have a conversation at the table. The real issue, however, was the service. It took 2-3 hours for our main courses to arrive. When they finally did, the food was lukewarm at best, so we had to send everything back. It then took another 45 minutes before we received our meals again. Throughout the evening, drinks and dishes arrived at different times, leaving some of us waiting while others’ food grew cold. On the bright side, once the food was served properly and at the right temperature, it was delicious. The flavors were well-balanced and clearly made with quality ingredients, but the long wait and lack of coordination really overshadowed the experience. In summary, the restaurant has potential, with a great location, a good atmosphere, and tasty food, but the service needs significant improvement to make it worth the visit.

Amazing Christmas party with work colleagues. Food was great . Not cheap , but it’s expected

Braj was serving our table, but we told him that it was our anniversary and we requested a table in front of the stage (which we requested while booking, but they gave us a the worst table in a corner just near the toilet). Braj was really friendly, he asked his manager for a front table and we got the best 👌 table just in front of the singer within few minutes. He just made our day. The atmosphere was marvellous 👌 and lively. Enjoyed the music and vibe than food. Recommended food is the starter (glazed Duck with cashew. However, it was written that it would be with watermelon salad, but I got with baby lettuce. Aged beef tartar was nice as well. The main meal(chicken supreme) was average to taste. The prices are high according to the portion size but worth for the ambience only.

When I arrived, there was a huge misunderstanding regarding the deposit. This took the staff an hour or so to clear the matter. I had to ho through my bank statement several times before the matter was finally dealt with. This made me feel very uneasy, and I was unable to tend to my guests as we were celebrating my partners big 60th birthday celebrations. Apart from the service charges which every time our guest bought drinks from the bar and not bought to the tables, Quaglinos lived up to the expectations of entertainment and the atmosphere. The food was nice but unfortunately some guest did not get what they ordered.

I booked for my husbands belated birthday. We had previously been on our anniversary and really enjoyed. This experience over Christmas however was just awful. The food was lovely but quite honestly our main waiter looked absolutely shattered clearly management are pushing staff over the festive period without any regard. Then when it got to just before 10pm (our booking was at 8) we were told you will need to move this table to booked, we were also told are you getting dessert you really need to choose. A special occasion completely ruined. I booked this 2 months ago and also spoke to someone on the phone why did no one tell me! Well done for a horrible extremely expensive experience!

Pre- booked Xmas dinner for family . After ordering the food we were told no options available as ran out of chicken! And same for the dessert - no chocolate mouse available as ran out!! And on top not even apologetic but saying that’s what it is !! That killed all the experience!

Initial good impressions, staff were friendly and nice live music, however we waited over an hour and a half for our food to arrive, and the food arrived cold. The meat (ribeye) was quite chewy and the serving portion was quite small (though this is to be expected with this type of restaurant). Overall would not return to Quaglinos based on the price.

Staff are awful. At times I was waiting 15 mins after ordering a glass of wine to the table, where there was supposed to be bottles already there. The staff were very clumsy, they knocked my knife on the floor, dropped my plate of starters on top of my napkin and knife so it tipped over, elbowed me in the face while pouring wine and then flicked the bottle of wine over someone. They forgot my chips and then rolled their eyes when I pointed it out, and only came to take orders about once every 30 mins. And when they did come, they only took orders from that one specific person whilst ignoring everybody else. I would expect this service from a failing McDonald’s franchise under investigation. Very disappointed.

We recently visited Quaglino’s for dinner and were incredibly impressed. From the ambience to the food, it was an incredible evening from start to finish. Only made better by our fantastic waiters, especially Akash P who was friendly, attentive and very helpful! Had a fantastic evening and can’t wait to return.

Quaglino’s decor, environment, pricing, and entertainment set a very high bar that unfortunately the service failed to meet. I’d arranged a celebratory dinner and the whole experience was very rushed. From collecting our coats to waiting the table, it was rapid fire - the food came out within 4 minutes of ordering which, given the price, gives you the impression of a conveyor belt kitchen that’s not putting the care and time into your food. Entertainment and decor is amazing, but the service really let down the whole experience; and then they slap on a 20% service charge.

Again Quaglino's was a let down. Same as last December. The place was only about a third full, more or less empty bar, no atmosphere in the week before Christmas. Service was ultra slow as usual - one hour at the table with bread only in a very un busy restaurant. Wine, again, placed out of our reach and poured out in large measure so it's gets warm presumably in an attempt to make us buy another bottle. Another of the 6 occupied tables also had to get up to pour their own wine. Starter of mushroom tartlette was a cold dish of mushrooms in a truffle sauce in a pastry case - most unpleasant cold taste. I did not eat it. The venison was good, minimalist portions but luke warm. No festive dishes at all on the menu on December 16th - amazing? The bar ( empty) staff spent their time unpacking boxes of bottles and then measuring with funnels, mixes into containers. Never had to sit and watch that on show in a bar. Last year was a similar situation- won't be ever doing this again as a Christmas treat. Very disappointing, again

There’s no doubt that Quagalinos is a beautiful venue with an incredible atmosphere, however our visit on Saturday left a lot to be desired. We were a group of four girls sharing a festive lunch for the 4th year here. We started in the bar and had to prompt several times for our order. Then on getting to our table, service was again slow to get going. The menu was very disappointing. With two vegetarians at the table, there was one choice for starters and one for main. The menu price has shot up at £45 for 2 courses and £49 for three. It used to be in the £30s. A side of fries is £7 and we were charged £16 for the side of cabbage, which I can only assume was an unnoticed overcharge. Drink prices have also increased dramatically. Then there’s the £5 charge pp for music and also a cost of £5 pp for bread, which used to be brought around freely. The food itself was very disappointing. Seasoning was either lacking (pasta) or overpowering (salmon). Portions were small. None of the party of four particularly enjoyed their food. That said the creme brulee was delicious. Best part of the meal. People were clearly having fun and Quags is a real party atmosphere. Sadly the food (which used to be excellent) has gone downhill and service was not as good as precious visits. We all agreed that sadly this will be our last visit here. However if you’re looking for a fun place for a party, do check it out.

Food was average My guests seat broke and he nearly broke his arm falling to the floor. No apology given. Orders were late. One cocktail mix up and one guest got it instead of the other and the next was massively delayed. Atmosphere and live music were fab

100 staff members walking around but bad service. One member from our party had to order his drink 3 times before it came. Got brought the bill before the desert menu. Queried it and was told they have to give the table up as it is a 2 hour limit. If that is the case the restaurant needs to find a way to make sure desert is offered in that time frame. Online there were no tables after 10pm therefore they were offering tables for walk-ins at our expense. A donation for charity was on the receipt without consent. Whether it is £1 or a £100 donation consent should be sought first. £30pp for the live music which was very average.

Restaurant Review: Quaglino’s Christmas Meal We had the pleasure of dining at Quaglino’s for our Christmas meal, and overall, it was an enjoyable experience with a few notable highlights and one slight letdown. First and foremost, the venue itself is absolutely stunning. The festive decorations were superb, adding a touch of glamour and holiday magic to the evening. The atmosphere was further enhanced by the lively entertainment—a brilliant mix of music and performances that really set the tone for a festive celebration. The food, on the whole, was very good. The vegetables were perfectly cooked—crisp, fresh, and full of flavour—and the gravy was the real star of the show, rich and deeply satisfying. However, the rib-eye steak left us a little disappointed. While it was cooked well, the portion—a single, rather thin slice—felt underwhelming, especially given the otherwise generous and high-quality offerings. Service was warm and friendly but noticeably slow at times, which detracted slightly from the experience. Nevertheless, the staff were attentive when present and accommodating of our needs. Quaglino’s is undeniably a beautiful venue with excellent entertainment, and while there was room for improvement in terms of service and portion size for the steak, the delicious food and festive atmosphere more than made up for it. It was a memorable Christmas meal overall, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return for another special occasion.

Always a lovely time at Quaglinos. The Sunday lunch is fabulous, Giuseppe our server was great and made my dads birthday one to remember! Dee the singer is also incredible, will always recommend this place.
