As a 'mad cat' woman, we decided yo go and see the cats at the cat Cafe. It was expensive to go see the cats and the food was dreadful. There is complete lack of organisation, the cats in my opinion were not adequately cared for with dirty eyes and dirty ears (possibly with mites) and personaly, i would be ashamed to have these as my pets and using them to run a business. The cats are all over the tables in the lounge area they are loose. They are drinking spare milk from jugs, eating crusts n food from finished plates and generally begging. We opted to eat in the area outside the cat lounge as whilst i love cats, having them in my food is a no, no! The litter area in the cat lounge was stinky, faeces were on the floor and i felt it stressful for a nursing queen to be in the lounge with her kittens. The food was very basic. Nothing amazing for the price and took ages to make. The cats on a couple occasions whilst we visited escaped into the huge kitchen area. This business is a complete mis-mash of ideas.....a junk store, cafe and cat circus.....very odd. Can't see it lasting long.

Went yesterday afternoon to this fabulous cat cafe. The cats and kittens are gorgeous, very friendly and playful too. It’s a lovely relaxing atmosphere and it’s a brilliant de-stressor watching the cats play for an hour. The cats are looked after very well and everywhere was nice and clean. It’s a paradise for people who love cats. Highly recommend it, staff are lovely too. I can’t wait to return.

Apparently all cats are taken home at close of office hours and re-introduced the next day for their 9-5 shift, which includes nicking your food lol. Expensive but had a great time overall.

We have been many times to this lovely place to visit the cats and have now started having something to eat with the cats also. The food is very tasty (I really love the jacket potatoes) and very reasonable. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming and that is always very important to myself and having a 3 year old, it is vital that they are relaxed and smiley. The cats themselves are wonderful and very entertaining, especially the kittens. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely cafe to people of all ages. Today, with the air conditioning on, it was delightful.....

My boyfriend and I were greeted pleasantly by the woman who works at the bar. She happily explained to us how to place an order etc. She is very nice until the very end and she even let us stay in the cat cafe for unlimited time, maybe because it was not busy at all. We went inside and we were very happy to see the cats - we really enjoyed the experience. After 10 mins or so, we decided to order some food. It was in this time that we realised how RUDE the staff at the kitchen is! We ordered what was on the menu. Since the place is very small, we could hear the lady from the kitchen swearing and complaining. Very unprofessional. Instead of informing my boyfriend that they didn't have what he ordered, the woman made a rant and started raising her voice. It felt like she was doing it purposely so we could hear her. It was such an unacceptable behaviour because they were kids around and using foul language should never be tolerated in place like that. Also the place is scruffy.

We went this morning, the lady serving us was very friendly and polite, I think she was the owner, we were the only ones there so she was not busy. but behind her, the area where the coffee machine was was covered in spilt milk and sugar. We made our order then went in to see the cats, my friend was in her element with all the lovely cats and kittens about, one even came and sat next to us and fell asleep. It would of been nice for the staff to show us where the hand sanitizer was so we could use it before eating. Our food was nice and hot. But when our food was beeing prepared we could hear what the staff were saying in the kitchen, I heard one of the staff swearing and said the f word 3 times, not what you want to hear when your out a young lad came in and talked to us for a bit which was nice. The place looks really scruffy with its miss match of furniture.

We like to visit cat cafes, and this is our nearest one so far. There are quite a few all white cats plus a few tabbys. Some are young and some adults. What made this place special was the cats themselves. Most of them were friendly and happy to play with you. Offer some cat treats and you will be their new best friend.

Sitting down drinking coffee while watching kittens playing has to be a truly relaxing and stress free way to enjoy a break from the stressful life we live today. I loved having the freedom to photograph the kittens and adult cats running around, play fighting, while enjoying my coffee. The coffee was excellent and unlike so many coffee shops in Burton, was more coffee than water. Staff were amiable and happy to chat with you too.

Had a fantastic time at this cat themed cafe today, where the staff are welcoming and the cats are just as friendly. They had a wide variety of cats and a section filled with very adorable kittens. Food service was quick and general atmosphere was very positive. However, there were a couple of things that could improve the whole experience. Firstly, there is no music in the cafe, meaning that when you walk in, things can seem a little eerie and empty, but when you reach the cats, this does not matter too much. Another thing is that it is quite expensive... it is £6 entry per person for an hour and that is without food or drink (that’s extra). It isn’t outrageously expensive, but perhaps a little harsh on the pockets. (Side note: we’re students) Overall, a very positive experience. I intend on returning at some point, perhaps with a bit more money saved up.

Took my mum and daughter for a coffee as my four year old adores cats (me too). The latte was fantastic and even had a cat drawn into the froth on top which I thought was a nice touch. We will definitely visit again.

Nipped into Purrocious on a very windy Thursday morning. Lovely to be greeted by staff and taken through the menu and how the cat area worked. Delicious coffee came with a teeny bag of cat treats, which when I opened them all the kitties came over and said hello. Tilly plonked herself on my lap and started to purr! If you haven’t been you really should go - half an hour with the cats is very good for the soul! Just watching the younger cats play in the baby gym or the older ones relaxing on the fluffy tree was a superb stress buster. 10/10

Food, excellent, sensible limited choice. I had the all day breakfast with black pudding sausages, a full plate of well prepared food with a surprise addition of mushrooms. My wife had her usual jacket potato, also rated as excellent.

Decided to stop off at this little pub for a spot of lunch in the 'snug/bar area' before our planned spa retreat. What a treat!! Absolutely gorgeous place that oozes charm with such a warm and friendly atmosphere and welcome. Meals were so delicious and the cocktails were amazing too. If you are in the area or fancy a drive to a beautiful location with plenty of stunning walking spots then give this place a try. You definitely won't be dissapointed 😊

Keep seeing The Crown online and the food looks lovely. Finally we visited on an impromptu date night mid week. We opted out of a starter but I have the Beef and Ale pie which was fabulous! loads of greens, tasty pie and gravy, smooth mash and it tasted wonderful. My Husband had the Mushroom Pasta and also wasn't disappointed.# Unfortunately we were too full for desert but happy to say my meal came with a free glass of wine!! WIN WIN ! Great food, lovely atmosphere and excellent service! Look forward to visiting again soon.

Visited here after a while. I was shocked. The owner was a lady who I had paid for dog walking whilst lockdown was happening, even worse she had been claiming furlough and leaving her cafe closed and getting paid for dog walking. I don't think this is very ethical. Thankfully I wasn't reconised however service was slow and the menu full of very unhealthy things and the tables far too close together for COVID. Will not return.
