Pumpkin Cafe Shop in Coventry

I was served my Alexandra who always gives excellent service with a smile every morning. I have seen her be nice to awful and entitled customers and put up with rude people daily, as I buy a coffee here most mornings before work. Alexandra is one of the best Breistas I've been served by in any coffee shop.

Coffee didn't even taste of coffee cost £3.50 absolutely disgusting it was only just warm all I could teast was the sugar I put in

Met a lovey lady called Claire who works at the pumpkin platform , while waiting for Birmingham train , so polite, and helpful , she makes a great cup of coffee .

Coventry Station is ghastly. That's not Pumpkin's responsibility but theirs is a dismal cafe with no automatic door - difficult to get in or out of unless you are able-bodied and travelling with little luggage. If you do make it inside, you'll find dirty tables and over-priced coffee. Remember to ask for a receipt and to check price and your change.

Had 40 minutes to kill before my train was due; anticipating a long day out I decided breakfast would be a good idea whilst waiting. The young lady who served me was pleasant; however the breakfast roll (heated up in a microwave) and the coffee provided wasn't. Ghastly. Unbelievably this horror cost over £5. My lady at the counter was helpful and did offer to put more milk in the coffee.

The service is non-existent. No manners or communication. We brought 2 lattes on the quick as our train was due. The lattes were lukewarm and it tasted as the coffee was burnt. Unfortunately we couldn't get a refund as we are on the train home. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Dehydration is better than the coffee and service there.

So was travelling inbetween meetings and seen that the Coventry Train startion had a pumpkin cafe on my platform. After realising I had a Vodafone voucher. I check I had the right one, after I did I went into the shop to claim my voucher. Showed it to the lady who ruddy said I know nothing about that! I asked if the manger was in and without even moving she said she wasn’t in. It would of been nice to at least for her to check if the manager was in. So now I have a voucher which will expire. Due to me travelling a lot I tend to favour the pumpkin cafe but after this experience no chance!!!

It happened in Leamington Spa station, platform 2. The person who served me didn’t put lead on my latte and I spilled 1/3 of it on my clothes and then she told me that if I don’t like it, then I don’t have to buy coffee from them the next time. So unfriendly and unprofessional. Customers have nothing to do with the fact she hates her job and she shouldn’t spoil costumer’s mood on Saturday morning.

It’s a shame they sell alcohol right up until the minute they close, but On a freezing cold day I couldn’t buy a hot chocolate drink at 5:22pm... odd???

Lovely place and the people running it are really welcoming and friendly, the coffee is second too none and I'd say better than the bigger places.

I like this cafe. I was served quickly that was needed and the lady was friendly. Would happily return here.

I did not like the coffee here. I ordered an Americano but it tasted like filter coffee with a bitter aftertaste. It is over priced but that is expected in a station cafe. If you just want plain coffee, order the filter coffee instead and save yorself some money.

We have just bought two drinks from pumpkin cafe in Leicester station Platform 1/2 Gabi was there and a trainee boy who was lovely. Gabi was so rude to him when I asked for luxury hot chocolate, she said to the trainee new boy do you remember how to make it. You could tell the boy was nervous and was new. Instead of assisting him and talking him through she just pushed him in the deep end. I felt sorry for the boy. And the poor boy asked her something which she gave an awful reply. Also my partner bought a honeycomb latte which Gabi made. It is not even honeycomb. She has made it caramel. And it's cold! We have not even been given the actual takeaway cups. Just plain white cups! Awful service and to top it off we nearly missed our train because Gabi would not assist the boy and we were waiting for my drink! Not happy. No friendly smile or nothing. Whereas the boy tried and said have a good day. My partner drink doesn't even look like the pumpkin cafe standards!

Rude old woman with greyish bob who when severed me with no que behind myself then told me if I hadn't got a right card not to bother coming into the cafe I was only trying to work out which card was which after she huffed and puffed and said well your not going anywhere I've made the coffee I replied I will sort out my cards and come back over and she said numerous things under her breath I had found my card and went back to the get the already made coffee that tasted like burnt milk. I'm a restaurant manager and I know that a latte is not made to the point the milks burnt. I said sorry on murmurous occasions she didn't even answer me back just ignored me and said is your card even going to work this time. Rude rude rude!!!! Never been served by a woman so bad in my life. Where's customer service these days.

The cafe shop is fitting with Coventry railway station really. The station isn't particularly nice and doesn't have great facilities. It's in need of refurbishment for sure. As for the cafe, it offers the basics of what you'd expect for a railway station, hot and cold drinks, snacks etc. You'll pay over the odds for everything but this is no different to any other station venue so is expected. The service was good and the staff were polite and friendly.

Located on platform 1 next to the male and female toilets, this Pumpkin Cafe is are you expect it would be. Friendly staff, clean and tidy. However I should say they do not know what a flat white is and therefore lost a rating.
