Puccino's in North Hertfordshire

Puccino's is on the London bound platform of Hitchin railway station. I am a regular customer at the Stevenage cafe and as I was in Hitchin and in need of some refreshment I decided to check it out. There is a good variety of hot and cold drinks available as well as snacks. The chap who served me was polite and my drink was just how I wanted it. There is a small seating area or you can wait outside on the platform. It was clean and tidy.

Disgusting!!! Man racially abused calling me multiple racist slurs I was shocked to here these as a middle aged white woman in return I repeated these back to him and he was shocked because i think he was black Caribbean. Coffee was alright x

A bit of a ripoff mini cafe - they charge an extra 45 pence for oat milk, meanwhile not telling you till they put the payment through - then rather than owning up - I’m told “it’s the business owners” . Penalising IBS sufferers???

I love a good mocha whenever I have my one coffee a day, I've tried every coffee shop in Hitchin and I can say that personally for me Masan makes the best mocha. Esquires and Café Nero are the other good ones that are close but just slightly less on taste. the customer service is also fantastic, always served with a smile and a friendly chat whilst making the coffee (if not to busy to talk) and always wished a good day as I go to leave.

I am normally really happy with the friendly customer service and quickly made coffee before my train to work. I went in today at 6.20pm and a woman behind the counter who I believe is new told me she could not serve me coffee as she had already cleaned the coffee machine. I am unsure what time they close, but when I have come before at this time on a Sunday, I have been served coffee without a problem. Surely if the coffee shop is open then you should be serving all the drinks?

I regularly visit the station to watch trains and travel with my autistic son. Every single time we go into puccinos for a hot chocolate- they are the tastiest hot chocolate around, better than any other cafe or coffee shop! Seriously delicious and they always make my sons perfectly with extra cold milk. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Just wish it was open later so we could get a drink in the evenings!

Good service normally although one barista is incredibly grumpy. Not a word exchanged bar taking your order, will huff and puff if has to correct anything, bit exactly in a hurry either. Bordering on quite rude sometimes. Complete contrast to other barista I normally see who is great, he's smashed out a vanilla latte with little time to spare before train arrives. I salute you sir. Your mate needs to take a lead out if your book.

Excellent service, excellent coffee, friendly staff and I got a free little biscuit. Now I stop there regularly on my way to/from work.

Due to a lack of early direct trains to London, for some unknown reason, we ended up spending a spare half hour at Hitchin (where?) station. Don’t worry though as Puccino’s will save you! Despite the very friendly lady having only just opened and rushing around to be ready for customers, we were welcomed and amused! Our hot drinks were available in different sizes named in proportion to the height of the staff! They also came with an offer of ice and a complimentary ‘stupid little biscuit’ (stamped on the cover)! Thanks Sharon (we assume you are the small size). Looking forward to a lack of direct trains again one day.

Flat white was utterly delicious. Served quickly, piping hot by very friendly and professional lady.

Can only assume the male serving is the owner?! He is rude and should not be customer facing. As much as I need a coffee in the morning on the way to work, I will NOT be returning due to him.

platform four at Willesden junction you will meet Niaz and Agga , two of the nicest people I have encountered , every morning a smile and a greeting , I actually take a longer journey to buy my coffee here. well done guys.

I have been there three times, the person at the till is very friendly but no matter what coffee I ordered it was burnt and left a horrible taste! Not going back there! The two stars are only because of their customer service

This isn't really a restaurant, but a good place to pass a short while if you have to wait any length of time for a train. The usual selection of hot drinks and snacks are available, but there's precious little seating and only one table. The drinks are served pleasantly and with a smile. Given its location, the place is kept very clean. Prices are okay and there's some interesting (purposely placed) graffiti on the walls. Something to read while you wait!

The food and drink at Puccini is nothing special - but at this outlet the service is special! (Despite the brand slogans!)

Friendly staff, good service. Life saver when your train gets cancelled! Used many times and will continue to use in future.

Friendly cafe staff and ticks all the boxes for grabbing a quick bite on the way to catch your train. Coffee was fine with the usual Italian -style selections.
