I had a decent dinner here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which was a highlight. The food was good, but with the healthier option of the two dishes I feel that the portion size was a bit small. We had the fish and chips, where the chips were actually really good and the fish was ok. The healthier option of teriyaki salmon on cauliflower rice was really tasty, but as mentioned I felt the portion size was a bit small. All in all a good option for a casual dinner.

Another great experience once again at the pub and grill. Great team effort from Orian, Alicia, Amy, Megan and Nataniel. Food was excellent with a speedy service (credit to the chef) and the atmosphere and ambiance was perfect for a Monday night.

I was very disappointed in the quality of the food. Came here for a birthday lunch for my husband and both had a burger and onion rings. The burgers were greasy and bland with the bun was the overpowering flavour. The top couple of onion rings in the cone were ok, bland but crispy. But as you got further down the cone they just felt greasy. I wouldn’t even try the coleslaw as it had brown curly bits of cabbage in it and looked rancid. The chips were the only enjoyable part of the meal. I expected much better quality for what was an expensive meal at a time where the restaurant was mostly empty and we were the only ones ordering food.

The Pub & Grill restaurant was so busy on the Sunday we went, but the staff were good and we enjoyed the food. Amy C. And Razvan attended to our bill. Portions were fine. Food tastes good. Kids enjoyed

It's the Village hotel's home restaurant. Many interesting grill dishes, although in 3 of our visits (we were hotel guests for 3 weeks), too many things were unavailable. Unfortunately, they don't have fresh salads to choose- everything is either fried or grilled. But at least they do this part very good, and with the right beer and the right football match on the huge screens- you don't need more. One thig i don't understand- why not all the sauces' holders contain also salt and pepper, but only some of them??

We stayed at the Village hotel and ate on. Friday night at this restaurant. It was mega busy when we arrived because parents from the school prom the hotel was hosting were propping up the bar. After queuing for almost 20 minutes to order at the bar (we had a voucher so couldn’t use the app) we were disappointed to find our first two dinner choices were not available. I ordered fish and chunky chips as it was described. What arrived was basically fish fingers and crinkle cut fries, it tasted nice but I was left a little disappointed. There seemed to be a lack of staff as tables were not cleared very quickly and the restaurant was basically dirty with food deposits on the seating. There are several very large tv screens and the place seems to market itself as a sports bar. Over all an average experience.

Although the service could have been better (it was busy) the food and drinks were excellent and the restaurant had a lovely 'sports bar' atmosphere. Portions were large and tasty. Thanks to Tommy for his quality help during our visit.

I ate dinner here while staying at the Village Hotel. Booking online was easy and my table was ready early. The restaurant area is not separate from the pub so this is not somewhere to eat if you want a quiet, romantic dinner. There was a live singer and lots of TV screens around the pub. The menu was basic but reasonably priced. Ordering is at the bar or via the app. Unfortunately, my starters and main course all came out together so my curry was cold by the time I had eaten my starters. Breakfast in the morning was good apart from the orange juice being empty and not refilled.

Fine for getting drunk and watching a match but they clearly don't care about their food offering at all these days. Staff seem poorly trained and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Coffee machine at breakfast was thick with dust - so much for covid cleaning measures

Not a great choice on the menu, the food was ok but nothing great, however its handy if you are staying at the hotel and don't want to go out. The staff are overworked as there doesn't seem enough of them on. There are big screen tvs so it can get a hit noisy when the football is on.

Lovely to go back and enjoy a meal ‘out, out’! Super cold but the welcome was, as usual, extremely warm, as were the great burgers! We will definitely be back particularly when the weather improves. Lovely night thanks!

Food was lovely, sports screens good and very controlled safety for COVID. If we lived closer we would go more often as a good local.

This is a lovely little cafe tucked away in North Camp that I have been to with business friends, friends and family. It is dog freindly and just friendly in general The food is a reasonable price, made fresh to order and very nice, i have sampled most of the menu. Staff are friendly and provide table service once your food is ordered. The only criticism i have is that it is quite a small area, and when it is busy it's quite cramped and noisy. I always try to get there outside of their peak times.

Have been to a few Marstons recently and this one has to be my favourite. Food was excellent and all the waitresses were a credit to the manager . Who herself couldn’t have been more accommodating

Good basic pub with good beer and live sport on TV. Didn't sample the food so can't comment on that !
