They keept open for us when we needed to eat some great food late. 5 stars.

Very good service, there was a girl from Barcelona who spoke Spanish and the food was exquisite.

The food is of the worst quality you can imagine. The staff is friendly, but after a starter and main course we were outside again within an hour. Definitely not recommended and fixt prices are only until half past six, we knew that, but that is also something to take into account.

Third visit and never disappoints. Great food, brilliant service and doesn’t take the mickey on prices despite the area. Atmosphere cosy and the right side of busy in the evenings.

What a fantastic little place! 10/10 location on Dean Street so handy for the West End and pre theatre eating. Three of us had the starter and main option. Service was prompt, attentive but not intrusive. We had a load of catching up to do and drinks, starters and mains were served quickly and without fuss. The staff were 'on it'. Smiling and happy to help. Food was great. I had a calamari starter which was soft and tasty (how much calamari have you had which is like a bike inner tube?). Then I had a fish pie which was filling with big chunks of meaty fish. Chocolate mouse for desert, coffee. For three of us, starter and main, a few drinks, a couple of deserts, coffees...£133 including a 12.5% service charge. Will definitely be back. Loved it.

We had a wonderful time at Prix Fixe. The food was wonderful, very tasty - we had the Ox Cheek and Duck Confit and loved it. Starters were very nice too. Service impeccable. A little noisy, but we'll definitely be going back as the menu is very well thought out, with lots of interesting choices too !

Look, I can't really express how good this place is. I've been coming to PF since 2008. It was, is and always will be a benchmark for quality and value in London and indeed internationally. Unfussy, consistent cooking with firm foundations in the classic French brasserie tradition, sensible, friendly, polyglot service and a cracking location in the heart of the West End. Bravo PF. Getting to the stage and age when I wonder what I and so many of my friends and business associates would do if you were no more...

My second visit here, this time with my daughter for an early dinner prior to the opera. The food and service didn’t disappoint and your wallet doesn’t need emergency surgery at the end of a very pleasant meal. I lived in France for a few years and can confirm the food is very authentic and is certainly the best French dining I’ve found in the U.K. My new favourite restaurant in London!

Prix fixe 2-course menu (available until 6.30 pm) is incredibly good value and our 2 starters (braised pigs cheeks, escargots) and mains (pan-fried fish ofthe day, grilled goat's cheese salad) were delicious and very generously portioned. Staff very efficient and utterly lovely.

This is my second visit to Prix Fixe Brasserie and once again the food was delicious and amazing value. Their fixed price 2 course menu available during the day is to be recommended. We also had a couple of bottles of their house white which again as good value and perfectly drinkable.

Absolutely awful experience. The service was a disaster. We’ve been placed on a table for 6 when the booking was for 7 so we didn’t have much space on the tables. The waitress brought all the starters and dishes all together. Basically 14 dishes on a table for 6. Then time for dessert. Some of our friends were in the toilets it was only 3 of us at the table the waitress asked us are you ready to order, 2min after giving us the menu. We were like well we are going to wait for our friends to come back… then 30min later no one came I had to ask a waiter if we could order. I am a food blogger and eat out 4/5 times a week, I have never seen such a bad service ! I know the place was busy but come on make an effort! The food was only okish. I was proper pissed. Really not recommend this place !

A small busy restaurant with a great atmosphere. A fairly extensive menu of French dishes reasonably priced. I ate the chicken Caesar salad followed by the entrecôte steak, both excellent. in fact fantastic for the price. Good wines, some of them available in carafes. The service provided by a Nepalese student of hospitality was very pleasant and efficient. I am sure he will go far.

Really enjoyed our meal. For starters, I had the goat cheese and beet root salad. My husband had the French onion soup. For dinner, I had pan seared fish of the day (cod), and my husband had the beef bourguinon. For dessert, I had the apple tart, and he had sticky toffee pudding. Every last morsel was amazingly delicious!

I have been here a few times and I should have written a review before now! Prix Fixe is a secret gem in the heart of Soho- absolutely perfect for pre-theatre dinner with friends. We had a wonderful time there tonight- and we will definitely be back!

There have been many good reviews of this restaurant and I think it deserves a good rating for the quality of its food and relative price point - would happily eat here again

I booked a table for 3 at the Prix Fixe Brasserie for our after matinee theatre early dinner. I have not been to London for many years so was a little warry, but wanted a individual restaurant offering freshly cooked, season aware dishes, not a chain restaurant. We arrived 1/2 hour earlier than I had booked, but was welcomed and shown to our table. It is a small compact restaurant, but this enabled me to get a very good menu recommendation from the couple sat behind me. We all chose from the 2 course fixed price menu, I could go into detail describing each dish, but suffice it to say it was all delicious and very reasonably priced. The service throughout was attentive, but not intrusive. It goes without saying that I would definitely recommend this restaurant, but do book to avoid disappointment !!!

This is probably the best value for money Restaurant left in Soho. I have been coming to Prixe Fixe for over 20 years and I’m amazed and glad it’s still there. A really good restaurant. Although I have noticed some of the portions, have got smaller - But it’s still great value for money. And delicious!!! Sean

The timeout voucher was a great deal. The fish risotto was full of flavour and the prawn starter was filling too. We paid extra for the steak which was quite thin but had plenty of gravy.

Nice service, duck was ok, other food (onion soup, pigs cheeks and entrecôte steak) were great. It was efficient, everything came very timely for pre-theatre. There is so much competition in London, so in my opinion there are better pre theatres so I would not go back, but my experience was good

A long time favourite, PF never fails. This time, braised pork cheek starter and schnitzel salad. Garlic butter mussels and steak tartare for my oppo. Tables out the front if you smoke, outstanding service as always, and decent value as ever. One place I’d go for the rest of my days? This one.

Been passing by the restaurant for years and years and finally decided to give it a go. Prices are really fair for 2 course meal deal. Choice is good and food is actually really tasty. Had Beef Bourguignon for main which was delicious. Fried mussels starter was good but it should come with bread as there is a lot of buttery sauce left and nothing to dip in. Service was pleasant and fast. Nothing to complain but nothing extra. A good place to eat for a fair price in Soho. Interior and atmosphere needs a little bit of retouch but all in all a perfect 4 stars all together.

Food was very good! Calamari perfect made! But I think they had problems with the staff, once the food was delayed and the place was in full capacity all the time. Still, great!

The french onion soup was way too sweet for my liking and so much so my other half left his. I pointed this out to our waitress but not much was done to rectify the situation. We had Beef Bourguignon for mains which was very tasty, decent amount of beef and sensible amount of mash. French beans and green veg on the side that in the end being basically 2 x plates of beans and a stick of tenderstem. Overall not bad, they redeemed them selves with the mains. Service was a bit haphaard, took 3 attempts to get a bill out at the end

As ever Prix Fixe is a restaurant you can depend on to serve delicious food in an unfussy way which is way better value than the restaurants which surround it.

This was a family lunch for five people. The food was good honest standard French fare well presented and of good quality. Service was polite and attentive. Noise levels were moderate and thankfully no piped music.

I have been to this restaurant numerous times at lunch time and I think the food is good. Good choice on the menu and even offer 2 courses on a set menu for a reasonable price. Whats not to like?

Great spot along Dean St, we opted to sit outside it was a nice evening .. waiters reminded anyone lighting up or vaping at the table it wasn’t allowed. Fixed menu is strictly entree and main and not main and dessert, which is what I prefer… so a little disappointed with this ! Champagne glass is sooo small so stick with wine options. And suggest you ask that there be at least 10-15Mins between courses otherwise you could be in/out in 30Mins flat! Nice place lovely staff x

A regular and fantastic lunchtime find in the heart of Soho.

Had a lovely evening with the team at Prix Fixe. They were very attentive and all the dishes were served well. Had the escargots and duck conft, both were the classics I was hoping for and more. Serving team were all friendly and kind.

We’ve dined here many times over the years and this time my auntie was over from Australia and enjoyed it with us too. Especially flirting with the waiter 😆

The food was good. Nothing more. The soup was a solid 5/5. The mains (I had duck, which wasnt amazing, the potatoes came in the sauce which for me is a no-no and a distinct lack of green on the plate) were average. The staff were perfectly pleasant, if a little inattentive. Noone came back to check all was well, though I was quite late to my table and they didn't chastise me like in some restaurants. For the amount of food, it was pricey but decent. Would I go back? Not in a hurry but I'd not say 'never'. Overall a solid 3.5/5. Thankyou.

Prix Fixe reminded me of the French brasseries I used to go to in Paris in the old days. We had steak frites - the steak was perfectly cooked and tasty, the frites were thin and yummy, and the cocktails excellent. We sat outside on a table that was perfect for people watching. The whole atmosphere was down to earth but upbeat. The service was excellent - attentive and kind. I will definitely be back.

I was extremely disappointed in the presentation, execution and overall service. A horribly noisy atmosphere with waves of second hand smoke entering a wide open door to the street. The food literally made mill ill in the street before I got back to my hotel. Beef borgonoin was the source of my woe and my wife's trout smelled horribly. I wouldn't feed this food to a prisoner of war. Maybe the European mindset is to be indifferent, smoke 5 packs of cigarettes a day and serve food that is unclean. Just horrible.

I booked this place because the menu looked good, simple but interesting. I came here with my partner and we ordered the calamari, the snails, the boeuf bourguignon and the duck breast. The calamari was good but the rest was bland. The snails were small and pretty tasteless. The boeuf bourguignon was missing flavor which is quite hard to do because it's cooked in red wine. The sauce for the duck was very rich and felt like it came out of a can. It was supposed to be a red wine au jus, also no red wine taste in that sauce. The food came out barely warm and since we were sitting outside, it became cold after 2 mins. Overall disappointing. The espresso martini was also lacking flavor and strength. And the cherry on top? There is an automatic 12.5% service charge added to the bill which is mentioned no where on the menu. I have 0 problem with service charges but it would be nice to know about it before you receive your check or decide to dine in. I would not recommend this place. There are way better tasting restaurants in London and Soho alone.

I have been a client for 20 years. It is outstanding value, delicious food and drink and friendly service. I highly recommended it.

Great classic French brasserie Friendly and attentive service

The food was tasty and the staff were nice. some of the starters were excellent but the timing of the dishes was mixed. The cooking of the meats for the mains didn't reflect the requests, some overdone when rare was asked for and some underdone when medium well was asked. Timings seemed a little rushed though the food was a 6/10 for taste. We had a special request for an aperitif on arrival to celebrate an anniversary that unfortunately didn't happen. some prices on the menu didn't alone with what had been sold - more specifically the dessert wine. I would go back but mainly for their set dinner menu as this feels more aligned price-wise with the value you're getting.

Just enjoyed a fantastic lunch here. This is probably the best French cuisine I’ve eaten in the U.K. and would beat the majority of restaurants in France too. The service was prompt without being pushy, attentive without being intrusive and the staff were cheerful too. Will certainly e back to explore the menu further when in the area.

This French restaurant is set in the heart of Soho. We met up with friends for lunch and opted to sit inside as the tables outside were in direct sunlight (on one of our few hot sunny days). The 2 course fixed price lunch menu had plenty of options to satisfy most tastes and looked to have both vegetarian and vegan options. For a supplement there was even a number of specials. The food was all very tasty and there was no skimping on portion size because it was fixed price and for the price it was all very good. Drink prices were also not excessive despite being in the heart of Soho. We would certainly visit again when in London.

Very good food and service. Excellent quality duck and beef and good size portions. A little disappointed that the Prix Fixe menu wasn't available after 1830 as this wasn't clear when booking so ended up a la carte (more expensive). Only downside was the complimentary bread served when seated. Baguette that tasted "clinical" like it had been on a surface near bleach and those "service station" pre-wrapped individual butter pats!! Not a good look. Better not to serve bread at all in my opinion.

Loved this buzzing little French bistro in the heart of soho. Mouth watering boeuf bourguignon! Delicious sea bass. It is a loud and energetic atmosphere so don’t expect a romantic meal. Good value.

I was going for a dinner last Friday I have bad experience with the service and the food was cold and also mash have less salt and pepper literally no taste. Honestly not not recommended. Waste of time

Just far enough away from the busy soho/covent garden throngs but near enough for a pleasant stroll after a meal before the evening’s theatre going. We got there before our son-in-law’s parents so had a pleasant drink sitting outside. Prajitha our waitress was a charming young lady. Ozil the manager was very welcoming, a really lovely host. There’s a fantastic value set menu of 2 courses with a slightly higher price of £20.90 for the evening. Still fabulous value for what is usually a pricey area. I had duck breast, lovely sauce and dauphinois potatoes - perfect portion and very tasty. Husband had rump of lambe with ratatouille and dauphinois. In-laws had fish of the day which was pan-fried cod and sea bream - both generous and delicious. A light airy restaurant, lovely service and great food! Very much looking forward to returning to this dear little restaurant. Started the evening perfectly and daughter and son-in-law!s West End debut in the London Musical Theatre Chorus at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in Oklahoma was fabulous - such a great evening!

Lovely place where we had a drink outside before our friends arrived. Prajitha was our waitress and she looked after us so well. Ozil the manager was very welcoming. My duck breast was perfectly cooked, sea bream was delicious, lamb again beautifully cooked. Nice glass of carmenere. Not exorbitant considering the central area, lovely airy feel inside, and food was delicious! We would definitely go there again!

Perfect for pre theatre at the Apollo. Just a few mins walk away. Excellent food at great value for the location. Kidneys starter was superb and we both enjoyed fish-based mains. Then shared a dessert. Swift and efficient service - recommended!

You can choose from a fixed price menu (different prices for lunch and for dinner), or from the A la Carte menu. Service is friendly and not rushed. The food we ordered was cooked well and portion sizes not too large. My party of 4 diners enjoyed everything they ordered. The wine list has enough variety to please most people and it's not overly expensive. 3 courses, plus wine and 12.5% service charge acme to around £50 a head (Augst 2024). I had dined on a previous occasion at this restaurant and was happy to make a return visit.
