really wonderful experience, loved the waiter who served us as well, great for romantic date nights.

My go to brasserie in the West End. Great service & a lovely atmosphere as always. We shared a charcuterie board followed by tuna niçoise & bavette, rounding out with the cheese plate between us. Delicious & good value.

Food was lovely although limited. A number of items on menu were not available. But staff kindly compensated for this. Service was great and super friendly. The only down side was the music. It was soo loud could not hear any of the conversation at the table. We ended up shouting to each other. Based on this would not go again despite the nice food and great service

Super buzzy place. Location, Old Compton St, excellent, staff, superb, food and drink choices and execution excellent for a bistro. Very loud crowd, depends what you want. Pretty good value. Book.

Disappointing. We were anticipating enjoying a nice breakfast and instead it was rubbish. We were seated in the non descript front room and provided a be-grudged level of service which I suspect is reserved for walk-ins. The coffee was well made but the food from the breakfast menu was mediocre. Most frustrating, in retrospect, was despite telling the barrista upon entry and a server (who seemed put off and asked us if we actually arrived on time) at the end that we had a reservation we were contacted by Open Table as a no show (which is why we made a point of telling the server, Alas).

Love this place third visit in four weeks! Great staff, awesome atmosphere, just a generally lovely vibe about the place.

Dinner omelette was very disappointing. Avocado green salad was great. Bread warm and fresh. Very very noisy.

Cafe Boheme never disappoints. Classic French food, great service and relaxed atmosphere.

We couldn’t get into L’escargot and this place is very near and does walk-ins. Slight issue in our food arriving before our wine, but they were incredibly busy and the staff were lovely.

I arrived at 2:45pm for my 3pm reservation. I asked for a table close to the live music. I asked if we could add ONE more person. Instead of helping the manager yelled at me, pointed his finger at my chest and even when my husband intervened denied our table and canceled our reservation. DISGUSTING. Never coming back! What a disappointment and rude behaviour from the manager (for reference a man wearing glasses)

Lovely little place food was very nice and staff were very accommodating

The food was very nice and fairly priced for Central London. Very friendly service. My only reason for the three stars is the noise levels, unbearable. People shouting, impossible to have a conversation. It is a shame, I would go back but the noise is way too stressful.

Have lived in London for more than 30 years but haven’t been out in Soho for ages. Went to Cafe Boheme on Saturday night and was questioning whether it was a good idea as we pushed through the tourists, touts and rickshaw crooks. Happy to say that it definitely was.A buzzing atmosphere, lovely staff, and very reasonable prices for good unfussy French food. Wine not overpriced either. Absolutely 5 stars for us.

Service was really slow. There was no burger available in the day time which seems odd especially as it’s on the menu on the website. Club sandwich had three small pieces of chicken and was not a club sandwich - only one layer, untoasted bread. There was no toilet paper in the ladies toilet and no one seemed concerned when I mentioned this.

Great atmosphere, busy, noisy and fun. Right opposite the theatre where we were going so really convenient. Staff were friendly and accommodating, food was very good and not too expensive considering the area. Only downside was quite a wait for our table to be ready as it was so busy. Service was quite slow after that. Not the place to go if your time is limited but a very enjoyable time.

Pre theatre menu is fantastic value and the food and wine were delicious as always. Service attentive and friendly and the early evening live music just beautiful

This was a cute Parisian style cafe pub. The food was amazing. Tasted very delicious. The service was really slow but the staff were nice. The ambiance was nice.

The service was quite relaxed but so was the place, the food was fabulous & the ambience amazing! Am going to try the Pre Theatre Menu in a couple of weeks!

Good food and excellent service We visited just before 5 p.m. on a Saturday, in between the two Harry Potter plays. At this time, the crowds and noise levels were overwhelming. So we were delighted to find that the service was highly organised and professional, our orders were taken and food delivered promptly. The brunch menu stops at 5 so we were able to order from both. Food is good value, I especially recommend the crème brûlée: The 13.5 service charge was less welcome.

RUDE and RACIST STAFF!!! We stopped by to have a drink yesterday and the waiter serving us outside (a young Italian lad?) was the rudest and frankly came across racist to us! From the minute we sat down, he ignored us most of the time when we tried to call him to order, and acted really grumpy when he did stop by. we couldn't think of any reason why he would behave like this except of our race, because we saw he was nice to other customers on either side of us! I've been coming to Cafe Boheme for years, and by far, this was the worst experience. We left feeling terribly upset and hope that the management takes note of this racist behaviour!!! Should have complained before we left but it was too busy..

We were going to the theatre and this restaurant is opposite. During the week they do a pre theatre offer but we went on a Saturday. I had the salmon, it was perfectly cooked. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. There is also a bar area and the night we went someone was singing. I would recommend you book because it is very popular

Really nice environment, nicely decorated and busy with live music playing. The food was nicely seasoned, especially the sweet potato chips. Only thing I slightly was upset about was the prices for the light plates, which were slightly overpriced.

Classic French brasserie food, perfect for Sunday brunch. Attentive service, with Eggs Royale, Toulouse sausages and similar all delicious, cooked to perfection. Will definitely return soon.

Great food and service on a Saturday evening in Soho

Lovely little place, live music, great drinks and great prices. It’s very rare to find such a great french restaurant with reasonable prices in London. The French onion soup and beef bourguignon were amazing. My partner had the mussels, which unfortunately had a lot of sand in them, however, we will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. I definitely recommend getting the beef bourguignon.

We're currently trying out various French restaurants, and Café Boheme caught our eye on Google with a strong rating. The food was enjoyable and offered good value for money, but the atmosphere was quite noisy. The service was surprisingly chilly, especially from a typically warm Latino server, who seemed reluctant, even informing us upfront that we had only an hour to dine. On the plus side, the service was efficient.

Our service was charming, attentive and thoughtful. My elderly mother was treated with such care. The goat's cheese portion was a little stingy but we very much enjoyed our meal.

I had previously left a 1 star review due to an incident that happened a month ago. However, Cafe Boheme have without doubt redeemed themselves with their lovely service and warm hospitality, plus tasty food. I revisited after Simone kindly asked me to come back to get the true experience and I am now sure that the previous incident was a one off. The service I had on this occasion was great and matched what I had experienced previously when coming in for some drinks. The waiting staff were lovely and friendly, and showed the right amount of attentiveness. We had a lovely Italian waiter (sorry I can’t remember his name) but he was such a gentleman. The food was delicious - the highlight of the meal was the creme brûlée with myrtle berries, it was AMAZING! We also had a delicious red wine recommended by the lovely deputy manager. Thank you for a lovely evening!

We enjoyed a colleaugue catch up/relaxed lunch at Cafe Boheme. Food is good and my lactose intolerance was smoothly dealt with: service is good. Room is almost all wood and therefore a bit dark, live music was being performed in the bar area as we left. Loos very clean.

Horrible experience, they add you to the ticket some soft drinks and when you ask for them they reply that they are not charging you for it.. so you CAN’T have it because “you are having shots”, then the guy at the bar laugh at me because my card was not working with contacless, he said to me “You don’t have money”, after I paid using my pin, then on top of that.. , they send another another server to DOUBLE CHARGE ME!!! UNBELIEVABLE, I told them that I have already paid and I needed to show the bank transaction to prove it, NEVER COMING BACK!!!

We had assumed Cafe Boheme was a tourist trap, but were proven utterly wrong by its wonderful customer service, tasteful decor and food. Steak et frites is the way to go! Creme brûlée was to die for! Good value for money and secretly part of soho house - who knew!

Excellent service. Amazing starters, fabulous mains. Good value theatre menu with generous portions.

We went there for a dinner, tried onion soup & mussels. And my boyfriend ordered steak. It was my first time having onion soup so cannot compare (but it was not my cup of tea). Mussels were unfortunately not cleaned well, i think i chew up some sand… the steak was ok, fries tasted good. Also we tried fried or cooked camambert, we really loved it. The service / waiter was really good&fast. Yes the place was noisy because it was crowded & there is no music on the background.but many restaurants nearby is the same when its crowded. We might try brunch, but wont go for dinner again.

Theatre menu good value. Lovely traditional choice of French dishes. Great atmosphere,with jazz playing artists. Polite friendly Staff. I have had a lunch,and an evening meal here. And will definitely be returning again in the month of October.

I hung out with my friends around 9 PM and picked a random spot to drink. It wasn't too busy and there was a table available outside. I ordered a bottle of rosé, about £30. There's a theatre right across the street, so it got a bit busy whenever a movie let out.

Service was fine but not brilliant. We were left waiting for over 10 minutes before anyone came to serve us. In general the experience was good. Was was nice and the ambiance was good.

Our server was good but definitely overstretched and therefore forgetful. We waited for desert menus for a very long time and in the end asked for the bill and left.

I met my husband for the first time here 13 years ago & couldn't be more in love with him or the establishment. Perched on the brassy bar soaking up the chaos & characters of Old Compton Street is my happy place. Tres bon.

Lovely uncomplicated food, nice atmosphere but terrible service. Food came quickly but we asked three times for more water before getting it ourselves from the waiters station and waited 20 minutes for a new bottle of wine, by which point everyone had finished eating and we were ready to leave. Service charge was removed from the bill as requested, but no one bothered to ask why, which seemed like an oversight.

I've eaten here on many occasions in the past, but our meal this evening was very disappointing. Pity because the atmosphere and staff are great.

Food was lovely, and the resturant itself really nice. Was louder than I expected, so a bit difficult to have a proper conversation but at no fault of anyone in the restaurant. Just the vibe I didnt realise before going. Have to admit service was quite slow and things forgotten, had to prompt a few times before them being brought. Not sure if were understaffed so things were a bit strained. But despite this I would go again. The live music was cool and the whole feel of the place. Decent prices also.
