My go to restaurant, great value for money and service is always top notch. The new cocktails menu is yummy A++

A lovely environment and dinner! They treated my father in law so well on his 60th - a lovely bottle of Champagne and specialised pudding. We had a wonderful time and will definitely look at coming again in the future!

Really nice food, waiter Nadeem was very attentive!

What a gem of a place to stop for a bite to eat. We only wanted to sit for a little to rest our feet and get a plate of chips and a couple of drinks. We were welcomed in and treated like valued customers. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented and had a smile everytime they spoke to us. We can highly recommend dining here. (The chips were delicious)

Cote does seem to provide consistently good experiences. This one had good food that reminded me of meals in France, and very good service by friendly waitresses

We had a lovely date here. Juliana made sure we got a nice quiet table and her discreet service was the best!! Cote and it has changed over the years, but it's nice to know that they still keep the top staff.

WHERE DO I START? The cordial smiles of every single member of Staff from the luminous Larissa - Manager, to the athletic hardworking waiters: - balancing trays of charcuterie expertly up and down the stairs. And then; - Everyone is way too beautiful for a restaurant : I feel like I’ve walked onto a ‘Love Island’ set with their clothes on. And the waiters, most of them looking like Catwalk models without the egos - are smiling and humble. Then there is Manager Robert, who goes out of his way to accommodate, usually with a witty gag under his breath. Nothing is too hard or much for him, and he frequently carries my bag over to the table. Nadeem, another manager is always gracious and welcoming, with a smile that lights the place up.There are no sideways glances if your budget is low. No judgments. Everyone is equal here, and you find yourself asking: “Is that a French thing”? The food. Well what I have tasted is excellent. It is wholesome, tasty, nutritious delicious french food. The French onion soup layered with sumptuous cheese cradling flavoursome onions is A1, the pumpkin soup my friend said was excellent. The fixed menu: tender steak frites was fantastic value. A La Cart the Duck L’’Orange and Boeuf Bourgignon are incredible. Pudding-wise the Crème Caramel has been a huge attraction, with customers travelling miles across London to savour it. I’m in Paris in London. Its busy. It’s bustling. Its brilliant. The food is ace. The feel-good factor is even acer. I can never leave this restaurant without a smile on my face. Great food. Superb service. Egalite. Lookers. Atmosphere, and love of simple filling delicious French nosh - or as the French say ‘Bouffe’ . What’s not to love……..

Great set menu, had this before the theatre. Really prompt and quick with the bill

Mostly dissatisfied with this Mother’s Day meal. Rib eye is extremely overpriced for what it is. Came stale and dry with the guessing it had been stuck under a heat lamp for some time. Overcooked but the waitress way have just miss heard me. Leaves a distinct burnt taste in your mouth with a lack in flavour. I can tell you confidently I have cooked £6 tesco steaks far nicer than this. Even the £70 cote de Boeuf was disappointing with the same tired and boring flavours that you might find in a back yard barbecue. Service was good and the restaurant is fitting, however the steaks are pathetic for what they charge. Waste of money.

Cote is a go to staple, but tonight we faced 2 nicoise salads with a tomato and a potato. Staff arguing with each other so service super slow. My advice is find another Cote!

I found the food of excellent quality and service was very good and the team were friendly and attentive.

This visit was a great disappointment. The staff even forgot the water we ordered. That bad. So to the food ~ the Sunday special is one of the most disappointing “specials” in soho. Avoid that. Indeed Cote really should have a look at this branch. Things were undercooked, badly presented and took ages to come. I expect more from this chain - previous visits to st martins lane and brighton pavilion sites were great. This was an unfortunate combination of poor management, bad cooking, and a really muddled menu concept.

We had a gorgeous meal last night, somewhat spoilt by a couple who aggressively refused to pay the meal because the restaurant does not accept cash (Sterling) and they left without indeed paying. This fact was visible both outside & inside. The couple did not give the lady in charge a chance to explain. This left her shaken.

This place literally never fails. I had a complimentary passion fruit coctail which was amazing and the three courses dinner. So nice they offer this now on Sundays. The chicken liver pate started is absolutely delicious same for the minute steak. Service was very kind. Atmosphere is always pelasant. Cote is my favourite restaurant chain in London.

Fab experience. Great staff, excellent food and brilliant gluten free potions. The liver parfait is to die for. My veins turned yellow and I wanted to weep. It was a friend’s bday so we got a couple of drinks on le maisonette. Would highly recommend 🥰

We went for dinner this week and took a set option. Good choice of meals, great price, friendly service and we were lucky to spend some time in a quiet atmosphere. I have visited several Cote restaurants in several cities. The food was not the best of what I had tried before at theirs, but still really tasty and good.

Solo diner on Valentine’s Day. Mixup with the reservation but got seated quickly. It was a busy night for them. Waiter recommended their sea bass dish, 10/10!!

My mum and I went for food last night for my mums birthday and it was absolutely delicious! We both had the Sirloin and it melted in the mouth. Emma was our server and her service was amazing! Even though it was very busy we still were looked after and never waited long. Will be coming again!

Great dinner thanks to Côte team, especially Pete who was hosting us. We were given a great table, food was excellent and we were greeted and served with nothing but warm smiles and professionalism. Unlike most other places in Soho, you can have your food and actually have a conversation in Côte. Strongly recommended.

Having a birthday dinner with my friend from Canada. The food was amazing. The staffs surprised us with a birthday cake that I didn’t really request. What more I can say! Thank you for your kind service, which makes it an unforgettable birthday dinner to my friend. I love Côte and will definitely visit again!

Great pre theatre dinner, super staff

Fantastic First Visit to Côte Had my first visit to Côte and was well looked after by Syed. The breakfast deal offered great value and was absolutely delicious—the poached eggs were perfectly done. Service was exceptional throughout. I also highly recommend the hot chocolate, especially on a chilly winter morning. Will definitely be back!

Delicious food and very nice service. I ate the onion soup - I recommend it, it was very good. I also ordered twice-baked cheese soufflé with camembert, served with parsley and cream and herb sauce - it was very good. I will definitely come back here because they have a lot of interesting dishes and from what I saw, they all look tasty. The location is close to Trafalgar Square (10 min).

Booked for my mother’s birthday, which i included on the booking. Service was incredibly slow and the older short woman with short hair who was serving us downstairs was incredibly rude, rolling her eyes and shrugging at us when we asked simply questions like “could we have the sauce” that we had ordered to come with the steak. Steak served without the chips and sauce which then came later. We could’ve overlooked the slow service but the older short woman serving was incredibly rude, made the atmosphere uncomfortable. The bill wasn’t cheap & to experience her service made it all rather sour on a birthday.

Had a really great night here for my friend’s birthday. Bibi and jay were particularly great and really made us feel welcome.

La mejor Cote en la que hemos estado, y hemos estado en un buen número. El personal, incluido el gerente (rumano no francés) era muy bueno y atento a pesar de que el restaurante estaba casi lleno. Fue un servicio de 5 estrellas de ellos. La comida también para este tipo de brasserie era de primera clase. Habíamos horneado Camembert seguido de Duck Confit y Belly Pork Confit. Todo estaba muy sabroso y perfectamente cocinado. Lo lavamos con una botella muy razonable Pays d'Oc rose. Totalmente recomendado por nosotros!

Menú fijo Prix, ensalada encantadora con lardon de tocino, crouton, huevo escalfado, sin embargo huevo escalfado, tan perfectamente cocinado, estaba frío como piedra. No creas que nadie quiere un huevo escalfado que esté frío incluso con una ensalada. Camarero ofreció cafés de comp - v muy apreciado, buen cliente svc. Sin embargo, cuando llegó la lubina (los platos agradables y calientes) bien, pero las patatas trituradas acompañantes estaban una vez más frías. Pequeños trozos de remolacha con lubina parecían una combinación extraña e innecesaria. Conclusión: el precio ha subido, la calidad ha bajado. Es curioso, porque si hubiera pagado 4 libras más por un arreglo de premio de calidad similar a hace 3 / 4 años, habría sido tan feliz, pero me iré a otro lugar en el futuro xx .

Had a wonderful launch at Cote Soho today. Robert and Nadeem made sure we had a wonderful time, recommending us great food and drinks, and making sure we were fully taken care of. Definitely recommend it.

Cote Coventgarden, which is in the same group, is very crowded and the tables are close together, but this one is spacious and has a nice atmosphere. The food was also delicious. One drink + starter + main cost about 40 pounds.

Everyone were very nice to us and served us with their full heart. The food was delicious and delightful, the taste was very pleasant. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable.i had a very good dinning experience with my friends.

Exceptional birthday meal on Sunday. The waitress was excellent and made sure the food came out in a timely manor to allow us to catch our required train. Can never fault Côte however this was easily one of our best experiences at one.

Definitely I will come back for the cream caramel 😋.

7 of us had a lovely meal here on Saturday night. Our wait staff was extremely friendly and personable and all the food was excellent. Flat access throughout, but be aware that bathrooms are downstairs.

Had such a great time at Côte Soho! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy yet classy – perfect for a nice evening out. Everything was spot on, and I’ll definitely be back soon!

Booked a table at 5.15pm and we were sat and waited upon very swiftly. Our food came very quickly, within 15 minutes of sitting down, but we hadn't received our drinks nor knives and forks! It wasn't too big a deal as it was a busy Saturday evening and a new menu had just been launched. The main was lovely and I fancied a dessert and coffee. The dessert arrived but not the coffee. Our waiter was very apologetic about the drinks/coffee order and explained there was an issue with the computer as it wasn't taking sending drinks orders through from some tables. When our bill arrived, all the drinks were complimentary, a very pleasant surprise. I would recommend Côte in Soho, the service was pleasant and efficient with a buzzy atmosphere and tasty food.

We came for desert only and service was too slow. That was not as bad as when we inquired about when we can be served the manager on call was upset that we dare ask and rudely reply “it will come when it’s ready”. The desert was ok and the space was nice but I wouldn’t come again since why would i go to any restaurant to be treated rudely?

Their service is very slow and the lady manager is very rude and her smile is fake.. she always complain that she has 200 guests at the restaurant and she is very busy and she cannot help or provide services. Their dessert is rubbish and not meeting expectations. Don’t believe people on the Instagram when they talk about this restaurant. It’s not true at all.

A bitter waitress who seems to love her job, I ordered a burger for £17 and received 2 frozen fries and a rubber burger. Then I waited 45 minutes for a Nutella crepe. Don't expect a French restaurant, nothing is there and especially not the taste. I do not recommend the experience!

our desert never came on new years eve. over an hour and could not put ice cream in a dish. It was so hot in there, we just wanted to pay...that took 40 min

Very busy, good job we booked. Friendly helpful service, very efficient. Tasty food well presented and cooked. had the French onion soup which was very good. We were sat behind a pillar of an archway which felt a bit draughty and exposed as lots of people were walking by.

We visited during the Christmas period and had a fabulous evening. Being a vegetarian, I found that they had a nice choice of options and they also lived up to standard as my food was delicious! The service was impeccable - a special mention to Gurpreet who served us and went over and beyond - a true asset to their team. I will definitely be going back and cannot recommend enough!

No tables, no waitlist, and no respect didn’t even tell us if we wanted to wait a bit for a table we asked,

Staff were excellent. But the portions are way too small - we were left hungry. The prices aren't cheap so we would expect a decent portion. Or at least give out some bread like they do in France!

Lovely staff at this branch of Cote and it is a convenient place as bookable. However - and this goes for Cote and other chains generally - I'm fed up with salty 'ready meal' type food with so much pre-prepared off-site and all a bit ultra processed. The wine is not good either. I need to find some affordable independents in Soho that don't have massive queues outside! So this Cote scores there, and the staff here really upgrade the overall experience. It would be a bit of a grotty Cote otherwise. The food is usual Cote standard its just a standard I've really gone off. Perhaps it's just me.

Worst dining experience, The staff are horrible both in soho and marylebone Very racists towards muslims and dont want to serve us I’ve faced 2 encounters one in marylebone with a bushy-haired guy which left us in the middle of us talking to him. And the other in soho branch with the reception guy who lied to us about finding an available table even though inside was empty and i booked a table directly.. in the same branch the serving lady directly asked us are we here for lunch or “creme caramel”…. In a very judgy way just because we were wearing hijabs!

Lovely spot! Nice offering of food and drinks. Went for a special occasion before going to les miserables theatre show which is less than 5 minutes aways walking. Great atmosphere and in the hearth of soho.

Absolutely great food and service

Have not been to Cote for a few years. It was excellent with really friendly staff and exceptional food. The souffle was so lovely I wanted it again instead of a dessert. I didn't, but will back again very soon to have another one.

A fabulous cosy French brasserie in the heart of Soho. Although this is a chain restaurant the quality of food and service is always good. Staff is very accommodating and helpful. We booked our team Christmas lunch there and it was absolutely worth it!

I was in charge of arranging our work team Christmas meal and It was seamless, right from the point of booking the table and arranging the food orders to us paying the bill. It couldn't of been simpler, and when there were changes I needed to make, the team were so accommodating, it didn't feel like an inconvenience to them at all. Of course the food was excellent, but the team is really what made the experience so amazing. Thank you!

I booked for family Christmas gathering on Sunday for a large group of us. Quite a few of us decided to order the Sunday roast option and for £54 we expected it to be good. Our order took a very long time and when it arrived the Sunday roast was missing key items listed on the menu. It was only when we complained that the host told us that the kitchen didn't have Yorkshire puddings or the Cauliflower cheese (best parts of a sunday roast) instead we were offered replacement items that didn't really cut it in my opinion. For the price I would have expected to be told about this before we ordered but sadly not and despite the mishap the restaurant didn't even offer to discount the bill. Disappointing really.

Nice atmosphere, the decor is also nice. But what disappointed us a lot was the waiting time. We had to wait at least 30 minutes for apple juice and other things and 40 minutes for our dishes, which is a real shame. I was hoping it would be worth it but not even that is anything special.

We went because of the delicious cream caramel, but they took an hour to come and take our order, and they came and were late. We passed it on, so that they would give us the account so that I would not repeat the visit.

Really enjoyed our recent team Christmas lunch here. Nuhad and her team did a great job of looking after us, despite the restaurant being completely full. Service was prompt and the dishes tasty. It was decent value overall - we will likely be back in following years. Just need to provide crackers!

Just dropped in for a bite to eat and it’s December so it was busy, we were sat in the basement as overflow which was fine but no music at all very dull, ordered 2 kids burgers when they arrived one burger patty had been cut in half and used over the 2 hamburgers ? Never seen this before thought it was cheap, the price was really low so I get it but increase the price a little and use a whole patty please

During a recent outing in Soho with my children, we took in the festive Christmas lights, but soon found ourselves in search of a meal. Given my children's gluten intolerance and allergies, we were eager to find gluten-free dining options. While many restaurants advertise gluten-free menus, we quickly discovered that over 99% share kitchen space, leading to potential cross-contamination. However, we were pleased to find a few exceptions, one of which is Côte Brasserie. Côte Brasserie stands out with its dedicated kitchen for gluten and celiac-friendly dishes. We indulged in a selection of delectable starters and cocktails, and the starters were so irresistible that we forgot to take photos before they disappeared! For our main courses, we opted for chicken, a burger, and fish, all of which were thoroughly enjoyed by the whole table. Stopped in for lunch after a walk around SoHo. The atmosphere was just right, the staff was very nice and accommodating and the food was delicious! I had the fougasse for a starter and the Panfried Salmon Béarnaise, all of which was yum yum and the price was reasonable! (I meant to take the pic BEFORE I started eating, sorry! 😊).

We had a lovely meal before going to the theatre. Despite being pressed for time, our waitress Chandana provided fantastic service so much so that we even managed to squeeze two courses in.

Worst customer service I’ve had in London. Desserts were good. Coffee was average with no milk options.

I have to say sorry about the service tonight in Côte so the food wasn’t hot enough. I did complain and they took it back to the chef. It came back still Not hot enough I have a steak and chips and you know steak don’t test good if it’s not hot enough the new manager she wasn’t great 👎🏿 Côte fix it.

Went there for a pre-theatre dinner on November 16. The service was fantastic - quick, attentive and helpful. The food was excellent.

We had lunch in this restaurant, we had a Burger and fries. Burger where you risk choking with so little sauce, cheese bordering on non-existent, frozen fries in small quantities, Steak with an infamous taste with a stinking smell and far from being a chopped steak. Supposedly a French restaurant but French only has the name. Shame to pay so much for more than mediocre quality!!!!!

We knew the food and service would be good but we were on a schedule to get to a Memorial event and they pulled out the stops and served us rapidly.

Came here for brunch with my partner. The Côte breakfast deal is really good. You get a breakfast, hot drink and juice for a reasonable price around £16. I didn’t get the gentlemen’s name who served us. He was incredibly sweet and had a keen eye for attention to detail. He offered to charge my partners phone. Really he made the visit.
