Contraté la 'Princess Room' de la Princesa de Gales para mi fiesta de 30 años y no decepcionó! La comunicación con el gerente de eventos Benny fue excelente y pude visitarlo de antemano para ver el espacio y hablar a través de mis ideas con el equipo. Todo el mundo era tan amable y servicial. Hubo algunos problemas de dentición inicialmente con el menú de comida antigua todavía estando en su sitio web, lo que significa que envié las opciones incorrectas a mis invitados, pero esto se ha actualizado desde entonces - y Benny fue paciente conmigo mientras me esforcé por recoger los nuevos pedidos de comida de todos! Este es un pub bastante agradable. Tuve el tazón nutritivo con pollo que era encantador. Los asientos no eran particularmente estables y se mantenían balanceados. Pedí una lima de vodka y refresco. Me cobraron £ 7 por inyección ya que me dieron ganso gris. Definitivamente asegúrate de especificar que no quieres ganso gris, si ese es el caso.

Visitó con amigos para cenar y ver el fútbol. Nos acomodaron a un aumento de la mesa con poca antelación y nos ubicaron en un gran lugar. Esto se hizo es una manera súper amigable - gracias. La comida estaba en el lugar y un caballero muy agradable explicó de manera positiva alguna escasez de asados que fue bien recibido por nosotros. El y la bebida eran buenos - ubicación excelente - personal amable qué más se puede querer.

Pub look great, helpful with booking a table to eat. BUT when we arrived a very aggressive customer was allowed to start yelling at us for no reason while we ordered our drinks. He had an XL bully under his table with no lead, collar or muzzle (the pub should not allow this- they would be responsible if anything happened) threatened my partner, told us it wouldn’t be his fault if his dog attacked ours (who were picked up by us by this time) after several minutes is verbal abuse when all we wanted was a quiet meal and several drinks, we told the barmaid to cancel the booking, struggled to get past this bloke to the dirt, no help from any staff at all. Then while I’m leaning in the door to stop him getting out while my partner gets our two dogs past the second door the manager and a staff member arrive. They said they would tell him to go, but did not want to eat or stay knowing he would be around, especially when we would leave a few hours later. The pub should ban him, and if they don’t they should make sure he keeps his dog he was threatening us with, on a lead. I had the feeling they knew him, so have staff ready to deal with him. Very disappointed it looked like a nice pub. Very upset. Will never go again. Informed police of XL bully situation before someone gets hurt there.

Came here for my girlfriends birthday during the end of lockdown and we were treated like royalty. Absolutely amazing pub and I would always come back here. One of my favourite pubs in Clapton

I came in today. I emailed earlier to ask if o could put up decorations. I had a lot but the staff today were so sweet! They helped and checked up on us and diverted people to help! 10/10 experience. Drinks were really nice and was a great price :) all 6 of us commented on how amazing staff were. The venue itself was so pretty!

Visitamos el prisionero de guerra para la recepción de la boda reorganizada (covid) de nuestras hijas. A pesar de tener solo 30 invitados y no el "hacer" mucho más grande originalmente planeado en una casa de campo, el POW realmente triunfó. Estoy encantado de recomendarlo, la comida fue excelente y el servicio realmente brilló, especialmente con las numerosas solicitudes de última hora. El personal con sonrisas genuinas trabajó sin parar para asegurarse de que no solo los novios fueran atendidos, sino también todos los invitados.

Fui con mi esposo a este pub el martes. era nuestra primera vez allí, aunque resulta ser nuestro acogedor pub local. I went with my family in this pub last Sunday. It was my first time there and I found it very nice. We all ate Sunday roasts and I tasted the pork and the beef ones. The food was delicious even if the pork was a little bit fat. Prices were fine, the service was fast and the atmosphere in the pub was enjoyable. The only problem concerns the fact that they don’t accept MASTERCARD CARDS

He estado visitando a un amigo en la Princesa de Gales, así que reservamos una mesa por la mañana con el gerente Loni que estaba allí cuando llegamos y él hizo que nuestra noche fuera fabulosa. My wife and I had Sunday lunch there today with our son and fiancee. The venue was attractive and comfortable, the service was friendly and fast. Had the typical Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Delicious except the meat was tough and chewy.

A friend introduced us to the Princess of Wales a few years ago and we’ve been visiting ever since. It’s a beautiful pub with great food and drink, friendly staff and some real character. We like it so much that we even got married here on a Saturday in September - we had the ceremony in the Princess Room upstairs and then hired the full venue for the reception, and we’re so glad we did.They honestly couldn’t have been more helpful in the lead up to the wedding, and the night itself went off without a hitch. They even let me bring in a couple of pinball machines for the night! Everyone who attended absolutely loved the place and thanks to the wonderful staff we were able to relax and enjoy the evening ourselves too. I have to give special thanks to Andra, who is genuinely lovely, incredibly hard working and stunningly efficient. Our wedding day just wouldn’t have been the same without her!I really can’t say enough good things about this place - it’s easily one of the best pubs in North London and absolutely worth going out of your way for a visit. Highly, highly recommended.

Aparecí aquí hace un mes, después de estar en una exposición local con algunos compañeros. Tuve la mejor comida y cócteles, tuve una hamburguesa vegetariana, con la cual ha de ser una de las mejores delicias culinarias que he probado este año, con deliciosas papas fritas y cócteles dos por uno.Descubrí que la multitud era una mezcla de gente amigable y de moda.Lonny, el gerente y sus experimentados mixólogos, fueron muy atentos y ofrecieron excelentes consejos sobre varios cócteles diferentes y nuevos, hicieron que valiera la pena venir aquí desde High Street.Espero con ansias nuestro próximo Jaunt en el área.

Stopped off for a spot of lunch having had a leisurely walk around the area. Friendly staff. Decent menu with a varied choice of food to suit all tastes at reasonable prices. Food arrived promptly well presented and tasty. Decent portions. Seating area outside. Worth another visit.

We were in London and friends booked dinner, the place was very busy but we were made to feel welcome straight away the service was excellent throughout the evening they even did drink orders at the table rather than us going to the bar. The food was home cooked and superb quality we had a sharing starter that was excellent. I had probably the best seafood linguini that I have ever eaten. I understand its family run and the cooking is always done in house none of these bought in meals. Overall 10/10

I was showing my family around the Primrose Hill / Regent's Canal area and stopped for lunch here. The pub was quiet and welcoming, which is perfect as our next stop was hectic Camden Market.

Cracking little British Pub tucked away in Primrose Hill. Had the pleasure of having their Sunday Roast because why not? All the trimmings and washed it down with Camden Pale Ale.

I have been a here a number of times and you can sit here and watch the world go by. Excellent choice of drinks and nice atmosphere. Worth a visit. Food is excellent too.

They have a new special ‘Vegan beyond meat burger’. Now those who know me know I love my meat but being honest this vegan burger was enjoyable and very tasty. Great.

We recently moved to Primrose Hill and found this gem. It’s the perfect local for our family. Friendly staff, good beer selection, and great food for the adults and kids. They have live music on most Fridays. Great spot worth a trip!

Delicious food, I had the fish cakes with poached eggs and schmoosey peas. Squid to start. Full! My friend had the lamb kebabs with wild rice and aioli. Also delish! Good service, great atmosphere. A firm favourite.

Big fan of finding nice places in London for a good ol' Sunday Roast and came across this gem in Primrose Hill after initially looking at it as a licensed wedding venue. Staff are friendly, service is good, steaming hot plates, great portions and a nice atmosphere. A great family pub for sure (not that I was looking for that) and reservations definitely required as this is a real haunt for locals as well as passing visitors. Bloody Mary went down well too!

We had a great time eating, drinking & sharing laughter.

Enjoyed a lovely meal with my siblings. The drinks were good, the bar staff even mixed up some surprise cocktails and the food was well cooked and tasty. Want to thank Stuart and the rest of the staff for bringing some good banter and showing us a good time. Would definitely recommend a visit, we'll be coming back for sure.

Was welcomed by a gentleman by the name Stuart. Was seated and offered a beverage. I ordered the pan fried salmon which was exquisite. I'd definitely come back here!

Well located pub on a charming street. Good ambience but food and service below average. Roast was very disappointing - tough beef & soggy potatoes. Staff were not very attentive and had to wait around to be served. Overall roast rating = 5.5/10

We were looking for somewhere for brunch in the Primrose Hill area, but on a sunny Sunday morning most places were full. We decided to wander down Chalcot Rd and came across the Princess of Wales which had a table for six, and also welcomed dogs.

Já não é a primeira visita que fazemos e sempre para comer no primeiro andar. Serviço rápido, comida tradicional inglesa. Recomendo as pies, as salsichas e como sobremesa o pudim com custard. Bastante movimentado, pode ser que tenha de esperar um pouco.

I often book private spaces for meetings or parties, and so I hired 'The Garden Room' at The Princess of Wales for a staff party. We had our own bar and sole access to the garden. There was enough room to sit down but also space to have a dance too! Leading up to the event, the manager was very helpful and we also pre-ordered drinks for arrival and pizzas & sharers for later on in the evening. I arrived 30 mins before our party to ensure everything was ready - and everything was done! It was clean, comfortable and perfect for our private party. Andra (who was working with our party) was so friendly and welcoming to everyone. Everyone had such a good night. Thanks to all of the great staff at The Princess of Wales. I certainly recommend hiring them for a private party.

Had brief stop for a drink. Very busy as it was a sunny Saturday pm. Pavement seating popular for customers who had dogs or smoked. Did not eat.

Yet again very welcoming staff. New items added to the menu. Really enjoyed the Avocado & Shrimp salad. Also enjoyed the home made fish cakes. Thank you.

4 of us went for New Year’s Eve and wanted a pub near Primrose Hill to go and watch the fireworks at midnight.

We hired the downstairs and Banksy garden for a family party just before Christmas for 65 family and friends ranging from 80 to 5 years old. It was a really wonderful evening, with Loni the manager and the two lovely bartenders and servers doing everything to make the night a success. The food was wonderful - we had several different dishes, more then we could eat - all delicious and presented beautifully. The room was decorated and everyone had a really wonderful time. I would highly recommend it from every point of view - starting with the amazingly helpful planning of Libby to the wonderfully helpful and cheerful staff, great food, fabulous venue.

We only had time for a quick lunch, and the service was indeed very swift. The pulled pork bun was very tasty, and everyone else seemed happy with what was on offer - fish & chips, pizza and veggieburger.

We were visiting the area and our friends recommended making a trip to the Princess. We were not disappointed!

Visited as part of a party on a Saturday. Friendly staff. Music played a little out of fitting with the pub/restaurant vibe. Food mixed - burgers won approval - pizza undercooked and uninspiring.

We were supposed to meet friends in another pub close by but it was awfull so we walked out and by chance found the Princess of Wales. Friendly staff, clean and bright. A great place in Primerose Hill highly recommended.

From your moment of entry you are greeted with friendly laughter and clicking of glasses from crowds seated outside and those surrounding the bar area. The ambience is warm and inviting with baskets of glorious flowers quietly placed on the window sills. The rooms are cosy and appealing and the staff friendly and cooperative. The buffet style meals are like heaven in your mouth with a wide choice of drinks.

Second time to the pub with great Jazz set on a Sunday afternoon. Had the Princess of Wales burger and the chocolate brownie dessert which had detailed deliciousness. It was made with care with friendly and helpful service. Recommend..

This is a nicely done out pub with relaxed, friendly service close to Primrose Hill and Regents Park. Trendy, laid back vibe and a better than average gastro pub menu. I had a small plate - a starter portion of squid. It was nice and hot, nothing overly special however it was cooked well. Could have had more aioli, if I was being picky. A nice, trendy swirl on a plate was okay but a good size dollop on the side would have been better as a dip. My colleague had a burger and he ate the lot. Looked like a nice place to while away a business or long lunch.

Went here for lunch as my workplace is not far away. Had welsh rarebit with chips and salad. Very tasty. Would definitely try something different next time. Staff were friendly, pub had nice decor.

Lovely beer and nice loos. Shame about my pizza. I should have taken a picture but didn't want to have to relive the sadness. No tomato sauce and undercooked, with a bit of cheese and what I can only hope were some pine nuts, it was a total waste of carbs. The waitress did bring me a pot of cold pizza sauce by way of condolence. Had we just invented a new London food craze? I ate it my 'de-constructed pizza' because I was hungry and I don't like confrontation. Will order the burger next time.

We hired the basement room for a children's party which was a great success. We've also attended an event in the upstairs room. This was well organised. Food & beer is pretty good. 2 for 1 cocktails Mon-Thurs until 8pm. This is an unpretentious pub and the management know how to look after people.

The pub itself is situated in a quiet location near to Primrose Hill.The staff were friendly and efficient. We chose the pubs own beefburger which was absolutely delicious, cooked exactly to our specifications. There is a downside to the meal though. We were asked if we wanted coleslaw with our meal and said that we did. What I don't realise was that when I paid the bill £3.00 had been charged for the coleslaw. I thought that we had been asked as an option on the meal not as an "open food" on the bill. Also a service charge of £6.34 was added. So, instead of the £47.70 for the meals and drinks, the total bill came to £57.40. Perhaps that's why we all received a kiss on the cheek to soften the blow!!!! I didn't check the bill till I had left otherwise I would have commented on it. As I mentioned the food was excellent. Would I go there again ? No as I don't like to be ripped off and that's how I now feel.

On Saturday just want down to the Princess of Wales for dinner. We was meet by Damiano who sat us down and got our drinks.we were not sure of the menu but he sat down and went through the menu and asked us what types of dishes we liked and disliked.he had very good knowledge of the menu and was very helpful. I have eaten in various venues and needless to say the atmosphere and service provided by Damiano is beyond exceptional.it was a busy day and he even found time to tell us about the pub and the Infusions which we tried...... eExcellent

A lovely little pub in the heart of primrose hill, just a short walk from chalk farm tube station. The food was delicious. Hard to pick as there were so many yummy looking things on the menu. Both my cousin and I had the prince of wales burger as it sounded so good, and it was fantastic - full of flavor and beef cooked perfectly. Also couldn't turn down the double choc & peanut butter brownie with salted caramel ice cream. Was so yummy! Wine list very nice too. All reasonably priced - a real win!! Will be back for sure to try the rest.

Just had an item from their new menu Spatchcock Poussin. Very tasty. Service excellent and staff very welcoming. Will be working my way through the new menu as I know it will all be excellent.

£6.10 for a pint (advertised for £5.90 which isn't cheap but at least it's not breaking the £6 mark). Barman said 'it's primrose hill'. I said 'it's still beer?!'Also this is the Welsh rarebit with bacon. Which was cheese sauce under the cheese (ew) and a tiny bacon slice (pictured). Additionally we were told to quiet down by a staff member because they were doing an interview outside. They had an entire empty floor so not sure why they needed to tell us to shut up.

Lovely food and great service. Damiano even shared his knowledge in a mini wine tasting to make sure we had a wine we liked.

Very nice pub in the hearth of primerose hill, a few metres away from parliament hill. Very nice and friendly staff with jazz music on Sunday .Quite busy but it is worth the visit for the atmosphere and the food . They have Camden brewery beers so do not expect other beers tante that this one. Slightly overpriced but it is worth a visit for sure.
