This is our go to for curry. Very tasty . Service is amazing, we had a delivery where they forgot our popadoms, the owner personally delivered them to us very quickly . Thank you for great food and outstanding service, highly recommended x

korma was too spicy and samosas tasted stale.

If you like the smell of cigarette smoke and stale food, this is the spot for you. Also has a 1/5 star good hygiene review. Disgusting.

Chicken was chewy and garlic nann really under cooked.

The happy meal included a free drink. Unfortunately it was not delivered with the food delivery

Ordered Passanda and Korma - both were spicy (chillies perhaps), generally these dishes shouldn't have any spice heat through them. You shouldn't describe as mild as they are not.

Always a lovely meal from Prince of India. I have either the set meal or banquet night as hubby always has mushroom omelette. There s so much, phew. The Rogan is lamb, so tasty, just love it all. Asked for 6.30 delivery and it was bang on time. Fabulous

My delivery was too late then I contacted store on Friday 26/04/2024 at 10:30 Pm ,the staff replied to me when I contacted 1st time, the driver was just started before 5 mins & then after 20 mins when i contacted 2nd time he replied me, you should wait till the driver delivered with aggressive manner …. This is not the way they should be behave with customers …. By these careless staff business will be damaged…. These businesses will not run for long time if this staff continues here …. Veryy disappointed with this incidents

Despite mixed reviews—which seemed out-dated—we ordered a large family meal from Prince of India. The order was ready on time for collection and was 100% correct. They even added in some complimentary poppadoms. We enjoyed a variety of dishes, including lamb, chicken and vegetable. All were tasty. They were seasoned nicely and freshly prepared. I appreciated that the daal dishes were thick and rich (unlike some other local takeaways). The aubergine dish was also particularly good. The only item that could have been improved was the naan, which was good bread, but lacked the classic naan texture. We will surely order again.

Lots of food for £11.50 but didn’t think quality was very good.

There was a small piece of metal wire embedded in the chicken. It could have been extremely dangerous but luckily I managed to spit it out (see photo).

Great food as usual but delivery was awful, 45 minutes late considering it was a Monday.

Some of the worst Indian food I’ve ever had. Chicken tikka masala was the worst one. A horrible smokiness as if it has accidentally been dropped in the charcoal and just didn’t resemble a tikka masala at all. Rice was RAW and as if it was 3 days old. Naan was dry and tough and horrendous. Poppadoms were also terrible as they tasted of dirty old oil. I would give this a ZERO 0️⃣ if I could.

Great food, reasonably priced and arrived bang on time! definitely recommend.

Ive had this a few times and it's been really good however the one tonight was terrible. Clearly left overs from the week end as it came super fast. Rice was rubbery and clotted together, naam was soft and stale, shaat was half empty with the sauce being gloopy and the chicken dry. The meal looked and tasted like warmed up left overs. Such a shame

The food was cold, the naan bread was soggy and uneatable, the lamb was grissly and chewy. We ordered at 18.40, food was meant to arrive between 19.40 to 20.00, it arrived at 20.30 but picked up from restaurant on time. We will not order again!!

Unfortunately the food arrived early, and a bit on the cool side tonight. Still tasted great after a blast in the microwave but not exactly what you want.

Think the driver needs to learn about personal space a little. Other than that the meal was really nice for the price.

Food was burnt, watery , not made traditional, order a jalfrezi and got some dark brown sauce in chicken , nothing like a jalfrezi I’ve ever had in my life . Starters was burnt , but I did ring up and they said that’s how they did it . The only good thing about this was the delivery service . Terrible customer care

I ordered food with them through deliveroo and they accepted the order and took payment. 5 mins later their owner called and said that the order could not be fulfilled. They didnot refund me. Deliveroo tried calling them but they didnot answer the phone. do not order from here.

Brilliant, as usual. Lovely food. Plenty of it. Enough for tomorrow night as well. Delivered in exceptional time by Neil, who, I like to think of, as a good friend now.

First time I've had an Indian from Prince of India for a fair few years. And it was beautiful. The only negative was they failed to add my poppadom to my order. Other than that it was excellent and far better value for money than the other take aways... in my opinion. Definitely a 9/10

Disappointed. The Rogan Josh was tasty as usual but the naan bread tasted and felt like shoe leather and was clearly burnt. A shame.

This is the first and last time I order food from here, I actually asked for 2 portions of biryani (spicy hot) and the chef put a lot of oil, I worked 4 years in the restaurant, but I have never eaten worse food than this , he also packed onion salad but it looks like it was 4 days old, the best biryani is made at little india and Broadway spice, I'm sorry mate but the food was disgusting 👎

They missed out part of our order, did not send items I had ordered. On calling them , I did not get a satisfactory reply to deal with the error sadly. I had hoped they resolve the error,they just apologise without an offer of refund or sending out the missed items

I’m astounded that you think it is acceptable to send food that is very clearly gone off. Bombay potato’s arrived dark brown and stank. The onion salad was a sloppy mess. Safe to say the lot was binned. Such a waste. After using this Indian for over 20 years we will not be returning. Disgusted.

Food quality was poor. The food was delivered very late. When we called up the restaurant the owner said that the delivery guy had left with the food 20mins ago, and should be with us in another 10min. There was no sign until the next hour. Terrible service.

Have been using the Prince of India for years now, but tonight was really disappointing. Not only was it very watery, the restaurant missed one of our rice's out of the order which was delivered half an hour later. Tried to get through to the take away on the phone but it just kept ringing.

We waited 2 hours and 15 minutes for a delivery that was missing 3 main items cost nearly £40 absolutely disgusting

I ordered a takeaway this evening from a different Indian than normal to try something new, and found a piece of small wire in my food! Really disappointed and put me and my family off the rest of our dinners. Very hazardous and screams an unsanitary food area…

I have bought from the Prince of India ever since they opened. This delivery was the worst my family and myself have ever had delivered. 2 Biriyani's swimming in oil, very little flavour and no onion salad and riatta delivered at all. 1 Korma cold and bland. Have you changed your Chefs? If so teach the new ones how to cook. because this food was awful !!!!

Absolutely shocking. 1.5 hours for a delivery on a Tuesday night. Marked as out for delivery at 18:40, arrived 20 minutes later Freezing cold! Tried to phone 4 times and no answer.

The last two times I have ordered the portion sizes were smaller than usual. This evenings was much smaller. I will try one more time but if the portion sizes remain smaller, that will be the last time I will use the restaurant. This makes me sad as the food is very good.

Wrong food order, quality of food was awful

Usually really good but the garlic mushrooms were really burnt. They were not nice at all.

Good delivery and food quality was alright, but seemed very oily when compared to other takeaways from this restaurant. Still value for money but just wish it hadn't been so oily!

Very delicious food. We especially like the Aloo chop. We are wondering if you would consider making some Aloo Chop with Sweet Potato. We would order aloo chop and Aloo chop with sweet potato eagerly. The Lemon Chicken was divine. Wish we had ordered more. We will be ordering again! So glad for your restaurant!

Driver insisted on a £2 delivery charge, even though Just eat said free delivery was very rude. wont be using this again.
