Broadway Spice in South Oxfordshire

Just had a takeaway from here tonight and it was absolutely fantastic, I even had to phone them to tell them how delicious the food was. Well done Broadway Spice, we'll definitely be back 👍

Ok. No had two experiences here and Hands down the worst Indian I've had. Bad quality and no taste to it. Even the salad was. Bad. No effort by chef. Worst in Didcot. I can only imagine it's not a 100% a Indian food business

I have loved this place for years but unfortunately tonight was awful. Really watery curry and mint sauce was missing. When I called they said they would include the mint sauce in my next order!

Lovely food Christmas Eve, great service. Gave only 4 * as the Madras was a lovely curry however, I wouldn't have said it was a Madras, just a little on the sweet side. Everyone's taste buds are very different so this is my opinion only.

Absolutely gorgeous meal from Broadway Spice. Very fresh, tasty? Really lovely. Definitely order again & timing was good.

Honestly, this is the best Indian in town. Not sure where the downvotes are coming from, but I've only had superb takeaway from the Broadway Spice. They are very friendly and the food is outstanding. It might take a little longer than the average place, but those 10 minutes are worth it for the amazing food. Five stars every time we go there.

Been using this takeaway for 20 years... go out of my way to travel to didcot to collect as I live out towards Newbury now... so having not had an Indian for some time I was surprised to arrive and discover that it had been under new management for 6 months ... was a little worried it might not be as good .. but I couldn't have been happier ... really nice meal .. lots of flavor .. Will definitely be back soon ...

Food ordered via Uber eats, delivery prompt and polite driver, orders popadoms with the usual sauces and onion salad very nice and fresh, also ordered a king prawn pathia purée and that was not so nice, very bland and disappointing

Ordered about £40 worth of food, when it got delivered there was a oily that had leaked from one of the containers, everything had been covered in oil, it was cold, food was undercooked and very oily, the nan bread was stone cold and tough. Soggy chips and onion bhagis

Had a delivery from here, they are on just eat. The process was easy and they have a great selection of food. It arrived at the time suggested and was hot! The gent who delivered it was polite too. Great food.

Having used Broadway Spice takeaway on several occasions I must say on the last two times we have been hugely dissatisfied with the service. This last occasion, after a phone call to chase the order, it finally arrived 40mins late (2 hours in total from placing the order) Luke warm and missing a main dish. The food wasn’t up to standard and was very bland. We will not be using again and will not be recommending to anyone.

I love this Indian, the staff are so friendly. The food is absolutely scrumptious and never fails to disappoint.

food was nice but a bit cold. it arrived 30 minutes after estimated time and made it a bit too late to eat. not great when you’ve spent £30 on food!

Cannot fault the food however we waited 70 minutes for our order to arrive to have items missing then waited a further 50 minutes for the missing items. Staff didn’t even apologise.

Arrived late (and no apology). Main dish was riddled with chilli (far too hot, meant to be medium!) and overloaded with sugar. Won't be ordering from this place again.

Best Indian around, very rarely have a bad meal. Always order from Broadway spice have done for years.

Thought we would have a change so ordered from here, when the food eventually got here there were items missing. A couple of phone calls later and the rest of the items arrived by which time I could have shone one side of my bhajis and bowled an inswinger and took middle wicket. Also portion sizes are smaller than others around didcot 👎🏻

Good lacked flavour and Bombay potatoes tasted like ordinary boiled potatoes. Have previously eaten from here before we moved away and now we have returned thought we would come back. Not again we will try elsewhere from now on. Disappointed

The food was cold the only thing that was slightly warm was the onion Bajjis when I phoned and asked where it was and that it was 15 mins late I got told that it on its way when I then said that if it cold when it arrived I want my money back to which the bloke on the phone Laughed at me very bad customer service

Order took 1hr 20 mins, almost 1/2 hr later than expected. The meal was very good though

Temperature wise it was okay, not hot but okay. The sauce on the meat dishes was very watery and the rice was watery too. The plate was swimming in water! The mango chutney was very thin and yes you've guessed it! Watery. Not alot of meat in the dishes either, only 5 peices of chicken! Definitely not value for money.

Love their Thursday and Sunday deal. Excellent value for money. Delicious food and very generous portions. Will definitely recommend. Thank you.

My girl was craving some naan and next thing I know is we're both on the kitchen floor suffering a food coma both agreeing that the food was so worth it.

WARNING-If you are thinking about ordering from here, stop. Delivery was over two hours, stone cold, food containers was squashed, spilled out to the bottom of the bag, took images. Phoned Manager, advises me to speak to just eat, as he cannot authorise refund, just eat told me to call Manager, they cannot authorise refund! Was then advised to give the food back, I was not going to spend more time trying to put them in the pathetic containers they were served in, oil, saffron everywhere so placed the food into a carrier bag and manager came to collect and told me that it was hard for him to give me a refund, not knowing exactly which meals have and have not been eaten! I did exactly what was asked and that was to give them their food back! Service was rubbish, food was cold and bland, delivery far too long.

Really tasty food would definitely order from here again.

My first visit to this Takeaway just before midnight to be told we close 11.45pm ... Talking generally to the Owner I said I was a Lamb Bhuna man ... The two chefs spoke to the owner & then went to the fridges & took out the ingredients & cooked me my order which was excellent & at a good price ... What was a "nice touch" was the complimentary poppadum, onion salad & mint yogurt ... Their efforts were most appreciated & they now get my custom

The naan was very, very chewy, almost stale. The vegetarian Biryani and other vegetable dishes were bland, almost horrible. We think this is the worst indian mean we've ever had.

Mi padre y yo no he tenido un indio por un largo tiempo, le pedí a unos amigos para asesorar sobre las mejores en Didcot, y Broadway Spice parecía venir encima. La comida estaba lista tan pronto como llegué a recoger, Pollo a la mantequilla que yo tenía era muy sabroso, y mi padre tenía especial, que dijo Biryani sabor 'él estaba en India! Ambos platos eran bastante grandes porciones (que podría haber hecho con una entre nosotros realmente) sin duda recomendaría este llevar

Ive had many takeaways from Broadway Spice and i have to admit this was actually my best so far. Delicious
