Visited indian dream today and can honestly say it is the best indian me and my fiancé have ever had. The size of portions are amazing Alot of food for the money. The effort that has been put into the food is amazing and noticeable. Really enjoyed the food and would HIGHLY recommend. Staff are very professional, welcoming and appreciate you for ordering from them.

While staying in a holiday cottage, my wife and I ordered a takeaway for us and our two children for delivery which, metaphorically speaking, left a particularly bad taste in the mouth. The food itself was satisfactory. However, the delivery driver called my wife’s mobile when close by, as arranged, to make his life easier when dropping off the order. We missed his call, and called him straight back. He explained, in an abrupt manner, that he was having difficulty finding the address given. As it turned out, he wasn’t too far away, as he arrived a few minutes later (I remained on the phone to him for this time leading up to his arrival). On arrival, he was unpleasant and frankly unwilling to engage in a way that I would expect from anybody representing a business. For my part, I feel I went above and beyond what a customer should need to do by agreeing to wait at the roadside, by the property, to make it easier for him, and also stayed on the phone to help him to find the location. Even though I had provided the FULL address including the postcode when ordering. I even provided additional specific details of which property we were in at the location. He claimed I stated the road name incorrectly. However, that is categorically untrue. I didn’t correct him on this initially, as I didn’t want to exacerbate the situation unnecessarily, though I did state that I had provided the correct address including the road name before he curtly drove off - without saying anything remotely approaching “thank you for your custom, and have a good evening”! He suggested that I should have given the address, pointing at the sign at the front of the site. However, that is precisely what I did; I provided the full address, including the postcode. When placing the order by phone, we spoke about the address for what must have been around two minutes. As far as I was concerned, they had no further questions about the address. They did not ask me to clarify anything further than was discussed. Of course, I appreciate anyone can have a bad day. But it is simply unacceptable to not treat customers with basic decency and respect, particularly as I had been nothing but friendly and helpful when ordering and giving address information. Not to mention that I was also spending our money with them. Perhaps he didn’t think providing any kind of reasonable customer service would matter as we were staying in a holiday cottage, so we were unlikely to be repeat customers. Yet, as we have done in the past, we would almost certainly have suggested leaving the business’ flyer in the property for future guests - no chance of that, given the awful attitude! What if I had been disabled? He may have had to walk 20 metres from his car to the front door to deliver the food. Judging by his manner, I’m not sure that would have been something which would have improved his mood. Frankly, he was obnoxious and rude. When I said “it’s fine; you’re here now”, he replied “no, no - it’s fine for you; not fine for me.” Quite incredible. It was like he was doing me a favour. So, be warned. In our experience, don’t expect your delivery to arrive with a smile - more of a snarl.

We ordered the set meal for 2, and were very pleased we did! Delicious meat for starter, so tasty. A butter chicken and lamb dish for main, with potato side dish, pilau rice and naan. Gulab jamun for dessert and mint tea. Staff were lovely....

The food I ordered was good, after I had to reheat it. The delivery driver was very poor. Excessively rude & obviously cannot follow instructions. It certainly seems Indian Dream has gone downhill since Hasnaths untimely passing.

A friend recommended Indian Dreams to me. I’ve always been a Sun Koshie type of guy but to be honest it’s gone down hill. However. This is the tits! Really good use of spices and heat. Naan breads were big and fluffy. Proper! Super fast delivery too. I honestly cannot praise the food here enough. Well done!

My food didn’t arrive. They claimed to have knocked on the door but I was watching the door the whole time and even if I wasn’t, my dog is very loud when the door goes. I phoned the restaurant and got verbally assaulted on the phone. He then told me I HAD to get to the restaurant myself to pick up the food and that he was the only person there. When my friend went in to pick up the food, she was also verbally assaulted by the same man, and then another person came out to give her our food after we were told that there was only 1 person working. I will not tolerate the verbal abuse 2 teenage girls got from a fully grown man who was lying to us.

Ok, mushroom rice may have had half a mushroom in it, chicken tikka was very tasty maybe half of a chicken breast with some onions and keema naan well I don't know how they managed to make it that small with meat that had probably been steam rolled, great work for the community but not for me.

It was our first take away for 4 people from Indian Dreams. A variety of chicken and lamb dishes. What a fantastic meal. Everything was so tasty and the service was quick. Will definitely be buying from there again

We recently ordered a takeaway from Indian dream and found the process pretty straightforward. We didn’t have a menu to hand so used the one on their website up until we saw their was a ‘handling fee’. In the end we ordered using Just Eat as this was cheaper, but next time we’ll call and order as the takeaway won’t have to pay any commission to a third party. Food was ready on time and we enjoyed it for dinner and the lunch the next day (as we ordered too much!). Will order again.

Abusive Owner, he must be ashamed- Boycott this abusive place. Me and Husband ordered food through out of restaurant platform. We received a phone call from Restaurant owner due to providing wrong address. My husband answered the call on speaker, Owner was extremely rude and swearing on Husband saying don’t you f…ing know how to write a address, OMG we got shocked 😳. My husband emphasised to remind his language and tone, Owner replied ..ck you, I’m cancelling your order, holly molly……first time ever we ordered from this place wowwwww. Never had this type of experience before, this owner definitely need some education and learning lesson. Avoid this place.

Hair in my food. The complementary salad looked like it went out of date yesterday(yellow and brown) Extra greasy chips and baji Cold food Took them over 10 minutes to pack it, after I got a text that it is ready for collection. Otherwise it tasted alright.

Hasnath is the kindest and most generous man. He is so friendly and truly lovely. He would do anything for our lovely community. The food he cooks is absolutely sensational. I have travelled all over the world, including India and Bangladesh and Indian Dream is the best Bangladeshi food I have ever tasted. Long may you prosper my friend.

We had our usual Friday takeaway from Indian Dream which we all really enjoyed Hasnath the owner is very helpful and will change anything about the meal you order to your required taste. He is also friendly and their hygiene score is displayed outside for all to see. We have never had a bad meal.

I ordered mutton kebab and Fish sathkora. Mutton kebab was of standard taste and good portion size. Fish sathkora was good and did not have any MSG which I liked the most. Fish was not as tasty as I expected. Overall it was a good takeaway dinner but I was charged a bit more than the actual bill. Couldn’t find out at the time of delivery since the bill didn’t have a breakdown.

Hasnath has always provided excellent, tasty food. He has also provided free food to the NHS, homeless, those who have list their jobs due to COVID etc. Brilliant company supporting their local community during such challenging times! He has received hundreds of positive reviews and thanks on FB which are well deserved!

I had a takeaway from Indian Dream last night, which was delicious.. The owner, Hasnath is a very friendly guy who offers free food to any homeless people in Didcot, to NHS workers, Teachers and the Emergency Services several nights a week. He is an absolute star and has received a well deserved Didcot Town Council Award for being a local hero

Got donner meat out here tonight delivered and it was white and chewy. Didn't look cooked. Phoned the restaurant about it and the guy was so unhelpful. He said it was something to do with the sauce which is lies. Absolute joke.

Terrible food, terrible pricing, terrible portion sizes. The food was tasteless, we spent £4.50 for lamb chops, and literally received one chop. After calling the restaurant they said they only give one chop and that they weren't even sorry. The person on the phone was rude and dismissive. He won't be getting my money again.

Update on my review. It use to be 5*, and now as u can see down to 1*!! Not good! Middle of December I made an order, and honestly it tasted disgusting. It was very watery. I tried to drain this off. But that just left it mushy, and inedible. So I rang them straight away to explain. After telling me all the ingredients, and how it shouldn't be watery. I explained how I know this, as have it every time I make an order. So he then said he would speak to the chef, and the manager. Then get the manager to ring me the next day. No call, so I rang back in a couple of days. Apparently manager hasn't been in. At another branch. Would ring when back. Well obviously they must have been going on without a manager for a month or so. As that was middle of December, and we are now coming to end of January!! I even tried messenger, which none of the messages have even been looked at! I was hoping it could have been resolved by now. As don't like to make a complaint over one bad experience. But when ignored, it changes things. Such a shame as I always used Indian Dream for my take aways, and always recommended them. No more!! 🤬

The potatoes and mixed starter was lovely and rice. The Curry just needed to be thicker very watery. The staff seemed scared when calling them to check delivery status. Id say nice food a bit of tweaking the curries it would be perfect. When ordering staff were friendly, not bad but could do with a little room for improvement.

The chicken korma tasted as if they had literally tipped a bag of sugar in and given it a stir. I Didnt recieve my garlic and cheese naan instead i got plain. And they couldnt even get a simple bottle of coca cola right instead i received a pepsi max cherry and a diet pepsi. Overall An Absolutely Appalling service and meal will never recommend them to anyone nor would i ever think to eat there again!
