Just had delivery earlier than expected fish and chips were excellent 5 sters

Ordered food cost over 20 pound to get it cold and dry kebab meet as asked for kebab chips and garlic yet no garlic then when I rang up got a mouth full a cheek I will ignore this place like the plaque in future

Popped in for chips and curry sauce, got home 5 mins later and when I put chips on plate they were cold, sauce was really really runny. Very poor food, will not go back.

female co-worker called me and my friends ugly (we are 15 years old) and when we asked why she called us ugly the woman proceeded to say that she could call us more and laughed in our faces. staff like that should not be working ! appalling behaviour from the staff.

Absolutely disgusting service. The food was over two hours late and after phoning twice and getting no answer the order was cancelled and a refund was requested. JustEat was contacted and I received this message (pictured) I’d like to add NO FOOD WAS DELIVERED. They don’t deserve the custom.

Absolutely fuming! Two weeks in a row my food has been almost 2 hours late! Tried ringing them twice and the phone was just ringing out so I decided to “ask for my money back” on JustEat then ordered from somewhere else. The driver then turned up and I told him I no long wanted it as it was late and probably cold so sent it back, to then receive a message to say I won’t be getting my money back! I’m not the only one that this has happened to! Absolutely disgusting! Won’t be ordering from there again!

Delivery takes too long, bad customer service, greasy chips which don’t look drained off. Looks like I’ll be hunting for a new chippy.

I got a garlic bread special when he was doing it I said omg they is hardly any meat on so he put a little more on, good job I seen them doing it as if it was a delivery I would I would of been more disappointed.. do not recommend

Rotten food 🤢 delivery 2 hrs late

Waited 3 hours for a delivery and food wasnt the hottest after two phone calls to the shop they then rang me to say they'd ran out of nan bread did I want pita or wrap (I ordered a nan bab!) And offered a free bottle of pop (I'd already ordered and paid for one) told me it was the delivery drivers fault. The delivery driver then arrived and apologised it had been busy handed over food and said "don't forget to leave a good review on just eat" ... I ordered on uber!! Not sure how busy it gets to wait from 19:20-22:20 on a Thursday night. It's a shame food's normally decent

Just paid £25 for a bag of rubbish fish was dry cod bites were all batter the chips were terrible and the curry sauce was like water i'm not happy she have asked for a refund

Fantastic food every time I go here, and there attention to detail is great, never had a wrong order. Recently they've started adding these little notes whilst yes there all the same the fact they take the time to put individual names on is a great touch, call me old fashioned but its the little details that count!!

Ordered food which priced at around £25, we were recommended by a friend. Our ordered arrived cold & a very poor standard. We communicated this with management as we were shocked how our meal arrived and they offered a replacement. Upon trying to re-order our replacement the manager had blocked us. We were willing to try again but not looking to ever return now. Poor customer service. The meal we received definitely does not match to what they advertise.

Ordered a mega box, chips (beautiful) topped with chicken and kebab meat and smothered with melted cheese, might sound expensive but this was a large alliminium tray, which could serve 3-4 people. My Mate had Chips, Pepperami, salami and smothered in Cheese. Same size tray. Would definitely recommend this, had the Gluten Free chicken kiev Pizza a few weeks ago and that was lovely. I am a fussy eater, this is my new go to place, I live next to Billy's Fish and Chips which is getting far too pricey. Pearl Cottage, Indians and Italian takeaway. I ordered and collected my order within 20 minutes. Amazing value for a family of 4.

Order from here and the food was fantastic. Food came hot and was delicious. I got a naan wrap and it was absolutely huge. Bang on and tasty. Order was a bit late but they did try ringing me to let me know. My fault for not realising. They still threw in a free item. Won my heart and my belly. Absolutely would recommend 👍🏼

The chips were black disgusting must of been last night's bearing it mind it was 1pm lunch time when we went. I could see the kitchen out the back and that didn't look clean either. Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!!

Don't waste your money food absolutely disgusting. Ordered x2 pizzas both cold and had no base sauce on them. Kebab meat wasn't cooked We were also missing a sauce . Food was vile

Always good service. Fish is 99% of the time beautiful, tasty and the batter is lovely. Pizza is great, never dry, with plenty of topping. Go there at least once a week.

Ordered today 12/01/23 ordered a meal deal which included 12 kebab pizza, chips and more kebab all in a box, food was absolutely divine as always, delivered faster than most places around my area! Super friendly delivery drivers and staff always willing to help out and never once been rude with me 🤙 if Primrose doesn’t already have a legend star on their just eat they well deserve one! Best around in 2023 that’s for sure. Absolutely would Recommend for the price and service you’d be a fool not to…

Absolutely disgusting, pizza was supposed to be bolognese yes was asif they where running out so watered it down mashed it up and spread as a paste , awful ,no mincemeat at all,ordered sauce and salad (NO salad came) chips and meat also cold, waste of money , would NEVER go back

Absolutely disgusting. £15.10 wasted as it all went in the bin. Stunk of rotten fish - fresh fish shouldn't have a smell. The fish 'meat' on the plate is the contents of 5 fish 'bites', it smelt rotten and tasted just as bad. It was inedible and the whole lot was binned. Vile.

Pizza was burnt - kids wouldn’t eat it. So much for our bank holiday treat :(

As a family we got fish and chips here last night and the food was very poor. The chips tasted like they’d been refried from earlier. We were all very disappointed.

I have ordered twice from here now and I have to say the fish and chips are lovely, no grease!! Both times the deliveries have been on time and both drivers very friendly, polite and courteous. I would definitely recommend this takeaway 👍

Gone right downhill. Real shame cause this used to be our go to chippy. But they seem to be using cheaper ingredients and it's just not what it used to be.

Very poor service. Three times in a row now they have forgot to cook my pizza for collection meaning it takes an hour to get pizza and chips. The food is nice but I think they take on too many orders and the staff are kids with no clue about customer service. I seen people walking h out and ringing h up to complain on how long their deliveries were taking. I will avoid from now on and go to Paul's.

Had fish & chips a few times from here but never again. The last few times the fish has stunk, really pungent that went through the whole house. 05.04.19 - Went back again on the off chance standards had improved but i wrong. Chips were disgusting they looked liked they had been sitting there since last year all black and green. They won't even go the extra mile to put anything in a bag for you they just point to where the bags are. One star is generous for this place.

DISGUSTING!! Ordered margarita pizza... burnt and cold. A chicken kebab and donner kebab meal deal.. NOT CHICKEN KEBAB! All this threw in a pizza box mixed up, tiny portion of manky chips, cold shrivelled up donner meat and a lump of tandoori chicken thigh. NEVER ORDERED TANDOORI CHICKEN. Rang the company to explain we’ve ate here before and we were disappointed, lady couldn’t care just kept repeating no complaints before, SHE EVEN THOUGHT A LUMP OF TANDOORI CHICKEN THIGH IS A KEBAB. Won’t touch this place ever again.

Used to come here years ago for fishbites and chips. Tried again recently and theyre just as good. Everything cooked to order. Nice friendly staff. Not cheap but good portions.

For anyone that is looking to order food from here I highly advise you not to as I ordered food from here true hungry horse payed true card and got my confirmation email saying my order and payment went true and I would receive my food with in the houre and 20minutes later I got a call sayin my order was cancelled and they wouldn't deliver my food as they wear to busy I live 2.5mile from this fish grill so I don't see why they couldn't deliver it and why they had to cancel if they were to busy they should not be taking orders so they sead I would get a refund in the next 3 to 5 working days I called they back and the woman on the phone was very rude to me and sead she can pick and chose what orders to take and not so I told her I was going to leve her a bad review and she sead I have no right to leave her a bad review and she can do and say what she wants Btw if I could give no star I would but this site will not let u

Fish and chips were terrible, went at about 9pm and chips were dried up like they had been reheated or lying round for ages, fish was exactly the same dried out batter and fish, really awful,no excuse for not frying fresh, check reviews, most of the good ones are from previous owners, better options nearby that offer better food

Ordered Bolognese pizza, chips, onion rings and curry sauce. Pizza was soggy and had no flavour, chips werent cooked, onion rings?? You mean batter rings?? Curry sauce was piss water with chunks of something in it. Disgusting waste of money.

Good chips, poor pizza. When the previous owner had it, it was the best place for pizza in my opinion, but that was 4-5 years ago. Now they charge more with less quality.
