Prima Fila in Elmbridge

A fantastic authentic Italian restaurant in a handy town centre location. Really friendly staff and always seems busy. Managed to get a table for two on a Saturday night without a booking. Had the aubergine bruschetta and filet tagliatelle which were both excellent. Very flavourful and beautifully presented.

Absolutely amazing food and service!!! The food is always fresh and the staff are extremely helpful. I highly recommend Prima Fila ❤️

We went here as looking for a restaurant not far from our hotel and it was lovely from start to finish. There was lots of good choice especially for the one vegetarian, the wine was excellent too. All the staff were so lovely and friendly-the restaurant was really busy which shows how popular it was. My only slight criticism was that the courses came out a little too quickly when we wanted to enjoy the evening for longer.

We wanted an authentic Italian restaurant that made home-made meals and was not in a chain of restaurants and we were not disappointed! Great choice of meals on the menu and they even cooked a carbonara that was not on the menu for my son. Not overly priced and great service! I would definitely return if I was in the area again.

This was our local for a while, we took our families here from time to time. But sadly this place is not as good as it once was, for us the food is now overpriced and the quality not so good. We went in novemeber for lunch. The manager was smoking out the back while we ate, and filled the resturant with smoke. The resturant was unclean and dreary. He gave us incorrect order and didnt give very good service.

This is a revision of my first review of 5 stars. In my first visit the food was exceptional. Sadly on this visit the quality of the food has totally nose dived, had a shrimp dish for a starter and it was off, stunk the restaurant out and even tasted off, was sent back. Had filet steak for main and was definitely not filet meat, was of a very poor quality. To finish it off the dessert was burnt. Won't be going back.

Amazing food, lovely attentive staff, really enjoyed our meal here. I had the arancini and sausage pasta. Will be back!

I have to confess that I was a bit suspicious when popped in. However my expectations overcame! Pasta was blasting! Costly for the area but worth it.

What a fantastic restaurant on my doorstep I only found by accident recently. Everything was perfect. The food was superb, particularly the veal and the specials. Great atmosphere, excellent service and very reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back

Walked past this place a few times and thought we must try it, Tonight we did. What can I say other than amazing !! Food was delicious and the staff were super friendly and helpful . Definitely going back if not just for the steak 👍

Had the swordfish £21.00 for extremely rubbish fish very rubbery small bland no vegetables so had to order extra chips £5 more very clostrphobic place male waiter very rude I ask him for a drink and completely blanked me to talk to other people while starting at women's backsides (very unprofessional) Using a plate to hold up window!!! VERY HEALTH AND SAFETY. Couldn't cater for a lactose free diet.

I visited Prima Fila for a quick Saturday night pizza after the cinema. I booked a table for two in advance, but when I arrived they didn't have a table for two ready. They took a long time to bring us our drink and to take our food order. They offered us a discount and then I think they forgot to give us the discount. I felt they needed to be more attentive and caring. It was as though they had something on their mind, and some difficulties between themselves. Even so, I think they are good people, and I would go back and hope they will be kinder the next time.

Went there for first time Saturday Night Excellent food and service at a very reasonable price did not realise this gem was just down the road, Would highly recommend not a bad word on anything.

I took my wife and son for a Sunday evening dinner here last night and we all left very happy and impressed with the quality of the service and the deliciousness of the food. Thank you! We’ll be back again!

First time here and thought the food was great. Authentic Italian menu and excellent wine too.

A nice place, but not as good as we expected from other reviews. I had a starter and main that both had an element of tomato sauce, and the sauce in both was bland. The rest of the food was ok but we know of other higher quality eateries in the area. The staff were very friendly though.

After a recommendation from a friend we wanted to try a new Italian restaurant near to us. So glad we did, food was lovely and fresh and very quick service. Front of house are two very nice men giving a personal touch. Looking forward to going again. Thank you

I booked a table for my son's graduation dinner for nine people a week and a half prior to the event and phoned 3 days beforehand to confirm our booking and add a guest. I was told that it was all fine and that the table was reserved for 20:30. When me and my party arrived, we were told that there was a problem and that our table was not available and could we wait for 20 minutes. We did, and were told to wait for another 20 minutes and go for a drink in the nearby pub. After the third time of being told to wait, we did go to the pub. We eventually got our table an hour late. I bumped into a friend of mine there and when I told her our table had been double booked, she replied that hers was double booked also..that made me think that maybe it was not an overlook. It's a shame because the food was lovely, the staff is really nice... they were clearly embarrassed and tried to make amends by giving us a discount. A lot of stress was generated because of this, which could be easily avoided with a proper booking system.

Been recently with whole family and really enjoyed all the food and drinks being served. The staff was really friendly and professional, the tall guy with glasses really help use to chose the best Italian wine of the house. We will definitely going back.

Proper Italian restaurant with high-quality testy food, made by genuine Italian chef, plus relaxing atmosphere and sharming staff. Nice wines too. Felt myself very well treated there, so definitely a 5 stars 🌟

My brother speaks broken Italian and they spoke back and helped him with some of the words like spoon! Can’t recommend enough and we will definitely be going back again.

I had lunch in this beautiful place and I had a real "Italian atmosphere". The food was delicious; great value for money. As starter I had the "mushroom with grilled vegetables " from the specials and I had to order a second portion as I liked it so much. Staff were courteous and efficient. Highly recommended

Went to Prima Fila in Walton for my sons birthday last night and had an amazing meal. Fantastic food and great service. I even went into the restaurant during the day with balloons and table confetti and they put them out for when we arrived in the evening. Highly recommended.

I’ve been a local resident for 50 years and Prima Fila is the best Italian Restaurant in the Walton, Hersham and Weybridge area, as far as I’m concerned. It’s authentic, incredibly tasty and I must say, very good value. The menu is particularly varied and the food is always exquisite, whilst the staff are incredibly attentive. Massimo and Vito are a great double act and long may they serve us with super food and outstanding service! 5 STARS FROM US ALWAYS!

Been coming to Prima Fila for years but the food really was not of the standard it used to be and me ans the family were left disappointed after spending near 80 quid!

Good food, but the business needs to take ownership for missing items from whatever delivery service they use! Asking the customer to come and collect the missing items is not customer service. No refund. 4 covers a month lost due to this!

Not impressed to be honest. Pappardelle al ragù di agnello wasn't as ot should be, but Funghi Ripieni were delicious. I might try to go again, maybe it wasn't their lucky evening.

Sadly had a very noisy large party sitting behind us, this is a small restaurant with tables and chairs very close together, the acoustics are terrible! Everyone ends up shouting at each other to get heard! Or...you just don't bother communicating...its just too much effort! Real shame as the service is good and the food is good...the setting is not! We were moved upstairs as we just couldn't enjoy our dining out experience....upstairs is very poorly decorated and had no ambience....such a shame!

Call Domino’s you’ll be better off . Ridiculously bad food, quality and service. Nothing good about it.

The staff at Prima Fila are a joy to be served by and are very kind and accommodating. The food is absolutely excellent with attention to both ingredients and presentation. Lovely cosy atmosphere which is perfect for a catch up with company or a date. Great selection of wines but just as fun without one!
