Pret A Manger in Woking

I really enjoy going to pret but recently forward that it is planning to open 40 branches in apartheid state of Israel. I urge everyone to contact Pret management to stop this madness.

Good afternoon, I hope this message finds you well , I truly hate to be one those I belive the modern idiom is 'Karen's " but I had what can only be described as the Service from hell in your Woking branch there's a young lady ,fairly New I believe , arrogance seeping out of her, who seemed to deem it acceptable to raise her voice and point her finger in my face when I asked for a little more milk , her exact words were along the lines of I'm a barista If I say you have enough milk then you ,I asked for her name and to her credit she told me it was Ruby, I would appreciate it if you can please remind staff to be civil at all times this is not an experience I want to repeat

I used to come here often, but I must say that it is not a place I would visit again the coffee tasted like dish water abd the egg abd bacon roll was over cooked and poor quality. I had to clean my own table and the chairs are all torn. The prices went up, but the quality of the food and cleanliness has gone down. Might be time for health and safety to be called in?

Ordered a cappuccino. Half a cup. Together with latte and two biscuits £11.00. Total rip off. Complained and was told that is how cappuccino is served. Really. Used this cafe for years. Clearly a change of philosophy

Used to be a great place to stop and have a great coffee. Now just a soulless outlet for deliveroo etc. Worst part is the baristas have been replaced by a coffee machine! Why pay all that money for a now rubbish coffee when you can stay at home with an nespresso. Such a shame.

I've been away from Woking for a few years ,working over seas, but this week I had the chance to meet some old friends in Wokings Pret a manger, this was a terrible mistake ,the food was dreadful ,the manager even more so . A most unpleasant, rude and unprofessional woman another chap also apparently a" manger " was as much use as condom with a hole in it and was so dismissive I was left livid. Thank heavens for the two young gentleman serving on the tills and a young lady who I believe has been there several years , they are this stores saving grace I hope there dismal management team recognises them for there efforts but I don't expect so

Disorganised and slow service could do with a clean too, hot chocolate was watery and flavourless latte was mostly froth one to avoid.

Not up to Pret’s usual standards. Our hot chocolate and cappuccino barely warm, tables cluttered with dirty cups and debris, miserable staff too busy doing nothing to be bothered to clear them and wipe surfaces clean. A customer spilt some of their drink on the floor accidentally, I was intrigued to see a member of staff try and sweep it up. One to avoid I’m afraid.

Popped into Woking Pret to sit and have a coffee before shopping early yesterday morning. I visit Pret usually in London regularly and have the subscription. Woking is the worst I’ve ever visited, considering Pret are always packed everywhere else this one was empty so I thought I’d grab a coffee and sit in, 90% of the tables were dirty and had either rubbish or crumbs on them, the floor looked like it hadn’t been swept in a long time, there was a collection of mugs filling the side where the sugars are and when getting some for my drink couldn’t help but notice that the bin underneath absolutely stank!! Considering there were 3 customers in (myself included) and 4 very bored and miserable looking staff members behind the counter you’d think they’d have the initiative to be tidying the place up! I won’t be visiting again that’s for sure would rather go elsewhere that’s clean and friendly.

Multiple times I have been in here and they have 1 person serving; 2 or 3 making coffee and huge lines out the door. They run out of a lot of stuff quickly.

The assistant manager was extremely rude when we complained politely about the soup today. We have been coming here for years. Her attitude was dismissive and rude. Is this how Pret staff are trained to treat its customers?

In Woking so thought i'd have a coffee and a bite to eat. Went into Pret and saw two tables empty so selected a roll and queued behind a couple of people. Waited my turn then asked for a coffee and the food to have in. He asked me what table i was at so I turned round to see the two tables now had bags on them or someone sitting while there partners queued behind me. The person at the counter then informs me they are full. I had my coffee to go and went out in the cold to spend my time with the pigeons. Understand the problems but without leaving my phone or wallet on the table, probably never to be seen again, i couldn't reserve a table and had to purchase at the counter to then sit down. Pret, you either have table service or a reserve system but you've certainly lost my custom.

I go to Pret sometimes to get a sandwich but this one in Woking was disgusting, tables full of breadcrumbs and handwash gel empty.

I visit Pret Manger Woking regularly over last 3 year, food and coffee quality are great, but over the time customer services is really falling behind and becoming no essential to business, Pret please invest more on people and listen to people feedback to avoid next high street closure

Somehow I am always left disappointed after buying food here, whether I eat in or take away. The food is good but way too expensive. At lunchtime there are big queues to get served. At pretty much all times of day it is hard to get a table, almost impossible if you are a group of more than 2.

Frequently visited for early morning coffees. Occasionally an issues with long queue but only one person serving. Should foresee this and react far more quickly then they normally do so.

Just the place to sit outside and watch the world go by. Superb coffee, croissants, and good cooked food. Staff friendly and attentive. AND OUR FAVOURITE WAITER IS BACK. What more can we ask for.

Everything was just as we expected. Good selection of food and very good quality but prices reflect that and are a bit high. Very busy/popular at weekday lunch time so service at counter was a little slow, and not easy to find a table for two, let alone a bigger group. Could not find any serviettes and none were provided at counter when we paid.

Just an excellent spot all round.great upstairs which is ideal for meeting friends or studying/working. Comfortable seating upstairs, big windows and view of town square. Staff are super friendly which is impressive given how busy it gets. The only improvement I’d suggest which is probably a chain policy rather than a individual store choice is that they have another dairy alternative on offer, because the rice coconut milk curdles in the tea making it undrinkable. That aside, it’s Pret so there’s a good range of food, snacks and coffees.

This is a large Pret which is comfortable if a bit dark inside. We came in for a decaf americano which you cannot tell is decaffeinated plus a smoked salmon sandwich. Both were very good.

In spite of the queues over a lunchtime the servers are friendly and efficient.There are some really nice, low calorie soups such as Thai Chicken, No Cream Chicken, Vegetable tagine and Chicken and Chorizo. However, their regular permanent menu item soups such as Chicken and Broccoli are watery and bland. Can only assume this is a high profit margin soup. The worst by far though is the Ginger and Edamame soup, which is not fit for human consumption.You have been warned!

We like Pret's food and coffee and happy to find this one passing through Woking. Unfortunately they must have had a rush for food before we arrived as the selection was quite limited, but while we were eating we saw the shelves were replenished so just bad timing on our part. Our coffees seemed to miss it's place in the line of orders as people behind me were getting served much quicker with their drinks. There was only one lady making the hot drinks with loads of staff who were taking orders continuously adding to her workload so I don't blame her messing up a bit. When we did get our drinks the coffee was as great as ever. This is obviously a very popular and busy place and my only grumble is they should have more staff to cope with replenishing the shelves and making the coffees.

Most out of London Prets are slow and unhelpful - this is not the case with Woking’s branch - they are attuned to commenters needs - I.e. swiftness and accuracy.

I popped in for a quick cuppa, the ladies serving were very busy but in control and serving with a smile. From observing sitting here it’s a constant stream of people queuing for lunch and drinks, the hot drinks arrive quickly and everyone who arrived sullen is leaving with a smile on their face, it’s amazing what having happy staff on can do. It’s spotless in here in fact someone is cleaning the glass as I write this and it’s nice and warm. My main prompt for leaving this review is one of the lovely girls forgot to make my tea, she realised immediately after she missed my order and offered me a ginger bread man to apologise, I politely declined but she said if you don’t want it, make someone else smile today with it. Small acts of kindness like this make the world a beautiful place to live in. Thank you lady.

Pret A Manger is a French joint and a great cafe. Their hot food range is tasty and fresh. The wraps are sumptuous and filling. Their Halloumi falafel wrap is one of the best in the vegetarian options. Coffee is one of the best I have had in UK and the overall ambience is nice. The staff is friendly. And your customisations for coffee are considered. :)

Having been sent to Woking for a 5 day training course, I found the Travelodge £8.50 breakfast to be a very sad state of affairs so I went in search of something better. It turns out that Woking has very little to offer in terms of breakfast at 7am, so I became a regular Pret. The coffee is good (Top marks for using organic milk), the croissants are nice and they do a nice veggie breakfast bun. I had a muffin one morning and that was good too. The woman serving was always really friendly and helpful, even when she had a long queue.The cafe was consistently clean and tidy and had a good atmosphere and good music.

Food freshly prepared and well packaged. Choice of food at 1700 was quite limited but it is understandable since the restaurant closes at 18:00

I love this place, the atmosphere is absolutely lovely. the food is delicious and coffee too. The staff are always pleasant and smiling, especially two members of the staff, Jack and Iris who always provide an outstanding customer service. :)

I am used to people bringing in their own sandwiches or Gregg's hot sausage rolls to eat in the warm and pleasant surroundings of this Pret, but today even this was exceeded. An Asian gentleman was eating a hot curry and rice, presumably purchased from the nearby market. The smell was horrible, but did any member of staff do anything about it? They did not. They never do, there doesn't seem to be any effective management in this particular Pret so the place can be a free for all, with only mugs like me paying for food and drink purchased in the restaurant.

Nice seating area upstairs, good coffee, but the hygiene is very bad.

I visited this Pret on a Saturday and used the on-site toilets, a good business standards should be judged on the hygiene standards in the public toilets.

Prets not that bad for a coffee, but do usually prefer an independent place. Usually very good at making a decent cup though. Nice to sit upstairs and catch up on emails or use a laptop for some work

Un salto para café y pastel, mientras los niños eran láser debe tenerse! Parecía en otras cafeterías Starbucks (Nero) pero y parecía sucia y no es muy acogedor. Pret estaba limpio, el personal era amable, buen café y galletas de chocolate preciosa doble berry magdalenas. Tuvimos suerte de conseguir la última galleta.

Ofrecen el segundo piso así como la primera planta (planta baja) para tomar un descanso. Instalaciones de carga de algunos asientos, así que se puede fácilmente cargar tu teléfono o portátil.

I have been visiting Pret for a number of years and will continue to do so for some time. They simply have the nicest staff you could expect in such a busy environment.

Cuando le pregunté qué tipo de frappuccinos tenían, el personal rió en mi cara y me dijeron para ir a Starbucks para ese tipo de cosas. Fue mi entendimiento Pret está es una cafetería, que sirve una variedad de esas cosas, pero parece ser que es mejor que eso! Me sentí avergonzado por. Las mesas y las sillas son a menudo sucias y tengo que pasar unos minutos liquidación bandejas y limpiando lejos migas/salpicaduras con rollo azul. La parte de arriba gancho de wc ha roto durante un año y siempre tengo que dejar mi maleta y abrigo en el suelo. No hay tarjetas de fidelización para sellos disponibles (quitaron el estante que les) y la pequeña barra en la final, en donde podías servirte tú mismo un vaso de agua del grifo también ha tomado.

Me encanta este lugar la comida es estupenda y el earl Grey es la mejor que he visto, por desgracia no se puede comprar las bolsitas de té y va bien con un delicioso pedazo de pacana.

I often come here for lunch or coffee. I love the fresh variety of food and the coffee always tastes great. There is plenty of seating which are perfect for people watching or a quiet catch up.

I am a little bit obsessed with the almond croissants, cooked to perfection - amazingly flakey and great flavour. My french friends agree with me! I'm not an amazing fan of the coffee but this is my breakfast staple. The swedish meatball wraps are also great. The food here is done very well.

This place serves the best pretzels with the choice of poppy sesame seed or plain. Its also great for snacks drink and luggt lunches.

Bought my lunch from here today really lovely fresh tasting baguette the lady that served me was polite and happy which is more than I can say for some places I have been. Would most certainly recommend this place.

I haven't lived in Woking since 2008 and what a transformation! This Pret A Manger sits overlooking the town square (now a circle) with a light and airy second floor to sit, eat, drink and people watch. The Teryaki Salmon Sushi Salad is to die for, really fresh and full of flavour. The service (as in all Pret's) is warm and friendly.Great music running in the background offsets a cosmopolitan vibe that makes me want to spend hours here in their comfortable armchairs!

Been eating their salads many times and they always been delicious. however, today i am hugely disappointed. firstly they did not have my fav superfood salad and the one I bought was very small as they were skimping on every ingredient except of leaves. Please make sure you keep your standards.

I visite the cafe and ordered a decaffinated cappuccino. It did not taste as it should and I mentioned it to the counter staff. I was asked what the drink was and I told them what I had ordered and I was told "if you or order decaffinated, what do you expect ". On a separate occassional my daughter asked for a sandwich to be heated and was refused. Both times the staff were off hand and unhelpful. The food is not that great so go to pret a manger to be abused. There is a lot of competition and shall use customer friendly cafes.The staff attitude lets the company down, it's lets the town down. It's all down to poor local management, or maybe I am being too generous and it is the company ethos that's the issue.

Come here on Thursday mornings before work. Bacon and Egg roll and a strong latte...spot on. Service is prompt and pleasant. I had given Starbucks ago on the corner but never again. A complete lack of refinement and found hair in my coffee.

Moved to this coffee house from others. Always quick service, well made coffee and relaxed atmosphere. In good location which makes it lively and great for watching life go by. Try it. Good food with a liking for their bacon rolls.

We started using Pret in Woking after our favourite coffee shop closed. I didn't expect it to be particularly welcoming, although from past experience of Prets everywhere else I knew the food and coffee would be good. I was in for a surprise! The team here are all delightful. They remember what you like to drink, are always happy to see you, and will share a joke with you. The shop is often very busy but the boys and girls here are unfailingly polite and helpful. Very well done guys - you have made us very loyal customers (along with a lot of other people!!).

Thought we would pop in here for a coffee and bacon sandwich service was slow to say the least and by the time we got our coffee our sandwich was cold and the person serving us could hardly speak English.

I often pop in here as a way of being good to my body. Lovely fresh salads and sarnies as well as plenty of other nice food. The smoothies are very good as well as the coffee there, they only seem to do one size in coffee which is a minor point really.The staff are always friendly and helpful which compliments the modern building/environment which is very clean and tidy along with the toilets - top marks!Prices are a tadge high but well worth it and you can come away knowing your body loves you after all!

I have been eating at Pret in Wokng for a couple of years. I like Pret as the food is always fresh be it their wonderful salads, sandwiches and soups. The staff are always friendly if, at times, a little artificial. Over that time I have noticed a steady rise in prices so I have become a somewhat les regular customer. I appreciate that fresh food costs more but every customer has a limit.

Just a simple review to say how nice it is here. Nothing fancy, the staff are always pleasant and smiling, the food is varied and yummy and delivers exactly what it says on the packet and there's a relaxed little vibe. You know exactly what you're getting and it's consistent. Well done Pret and thanks to the team in Woking for always being so friendly and welcoming!

pret became my lunch spot almost everyday, due to christmas shopping we spent more time at the mall and wouls end up at pret, loved their fresh sandwiches could not get enough of them lovely spot

The Woking branch opened around a year ago now and unfortunately after a good start has just got consistently worse. Staff turnover certainly appeared to be a problem for a while, though that has somewhat calmed down now. They frequently run out of certain items (as most branches do), but instead of happily accommodating a request will begrudgingly make or get anything that is missing. Lunchtimes are a nightmare. My visit today being case in point: why they do not follow the process other Pret's adhere to is anyone's guess; You'll usually find that the person serving you suddenly vanishes to take a cooked item out of the oven and to a customer, leaving you standing around mid transaction. There is clearly a capacity issue when the queue frequently snakes out of the door.The only saving grace is the fact that the food quality is right up to Pret's usual standards. It is just such a shame that front of house is such a sham.

This is definitely the best Pret I have ever been to. The place is newly built and the atmosphere is just lovely.Its extremely spaciou and light with a great dining area upstairs with wonderful view over the square.The food as always absolutely dellicious!This time I tried the new item called Sesame Chicken Sushi Wrap and it exceeded my expectations,super yummy,fillin and as always very fresh and healthy!The flat white coffee cannot ever be beaten at Pret as well.Highly recommended!

the coffee i had was perfect. The sandwich i had was perfect. The staff i spoke to were very nice and helpful. Even thou the store was very busy it was still very clean. The upstairs seating aera is very comfortable.

I love this place and have visited both the Guildford and Woking branch. I have visited lunch times mid-week and it a very busy place, particularly the Woking branch because it has a larger shopping centre. There is a very good selection of sandwiches (too many to pick from) and I always seem to opt for the Moroccan filling with chickpeas & tzatziki which is very filling. There is also a variety of soup and I love the fact that there is fresh fruit to choose from, healthy slices and nuts. The service is very good.
