Pret A Manger in Liverpool

I use this outlet everytime I leave the gym, but today you've lost a customer. I have muscular dystrophy and needed the toilet. I asked one staff member if you had disabled toilet, and he pointed me to the ground floor area. I asked the counter staff where the disabled toilets were, as his colleague said they were at the side of the counter down a short alley. The staff member said "I don't care" go to John Lewis. Nice! Won't be back.

Not a great experience. Asked for a cinnamon roll that when tried was very hard - I could not bite through it properly it was not soft at all asked for a replacement - the answer I got was they were ‘baked fresh this morning’ I said but it’s hard, the seller gave me another however that one was not really that much difference, what I didn’t appreciate was the comment the seller made to another customer that they were all baked fresh this morning (like trying to belittle me and my comment of the pastry being hard) - on closer inspection most of the pastries has been overcooked fortunately for the seller I’m not the type of person that would retaliate and say back I know why they are hard you have burned all the pastries, the croissants, cinnamon rolls etc were very very brown the pastry had gone too hard to be edible, I didn’t bother to go back it because I didn’t want to have to deal with the lady at the till again. I just would not return again.

Just life ‘ New York on Rye they are so fresh ( wish I could buy the bread rolls they are delicious 😋) filled very generously and flavour is yummy - these are my go too lunch so worth the money , always get the Pret salted crisps and Dark Chocolate Salted Chocolate 🍫 perfect lunch 🥪

Staff aren't the friendliest. Was a chaotic experience. Shouting drinks that were ready just once then walking off to make more. Someone had to ask me behind if it was their drink that was shouted before the server disappeared again.

Good food, very good hot drinks, good service always, there code for up stairs at Liverpool one, it should be change from 7823 into 7832(7+3=8+2=10) Vey easy to register and to remember. Lovely people, they do were casual by nice, they well manners. Actually smart, for sure they know what people ask, in planing affairs.

The best as Sandwiches variety .. my favorite is Granola cinnamon yogurt

They offered takeaway and eat in prices. Eat in is cheaper, so I'm assuming it is to reduce waste?. However, although we were very clear that we were having our meals there, everything was packed in takeaway containers.. sooo couldn't understand the difference. Greenwashing maybe..

The worst manager of Pret A Manger paradise street her name Kate .she kicked out and she did not see me what happened between me and her rude staff Karthik . I had issue with karthik coz he shouted at me and he was rude .but unfortunately Kate the manager did not believe me . Good place, but with high prices.

Nos dejamos caer en este punto de venta Pret A Manger mientras estábamos deambulando por esta zona comercial y que bonita primera visita. Una salida muy buena, el interior es magnífico, ligero y espacioso, mostradores de servicio con frente de vidrio muestran las golosinas que se ofrecen, decoración y muebles encantadores y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por esta cafetería. Mi hermano gemelo y yo cogimos un café cada uno, estos se sirvieron humeantes calientes, nos relajamos y planeamos el día siguiente mientras bebíamos nuestro café. Los cafés de aquí fueron excelentes, desde el primer sorbo hasta la última cena se puede decir que utilizan ingredientes de calidad en su café y se enorgullecen mucho del café que sirven en este café ocupado y popular. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestro café aquí antes de que nos mudáramos y por una primera visita a este Pret A Manger en particular nos lo pasamos muy bien, es fácil de localizar a lo largo de Paradise Street y vale la pena comprobar si estás en la zona.

I pop in often as I work next door but prefer food from pret, service is what makes it for me tho, always friendly and kind without a fail!

we thought the bacon and egg breakfast sandwich would be hot. Also come as egg mayo and bacon. A lot of items unavailable to order. Couldn’t add syrup to coffees as unavailable

Always solid and a must have breakfast for me no matter where I am and a manager is available. Yogurt coated cranberries are incredible and a healthy, sweet snack for in between meals. And the brownie bar is the unreasonable but overly delicious alternative. As a sandwich, I recommend the cheffed sandwich with onions under pickles.

Friendly staff, always busy with a nice 'buzz'. I grab a daily coffee and never disappointed

The staff here are absolutely amazing and as far as Pret stores go - this is FIVE stars just based on the staff alone. I spend a lot of time in the store and they are so welcoming and very lovely people which is why I always go back. I see they often work incredibly hard and they all deserve a raise because the circumstances are against them sometimes with how busy it can get and with customers constantly asking for door codes for the toilet and so on. I have also witnessed abusive customers and they have been very professional in their responses and should be commended. I have mystery shopped many places in the past and can say that the staff here are 10/10. Thanks to you all 🙏🌟

High price for a coffee and a croissant

On a trip to Liverpool today I had lunch in this branch. It was busy but managed to find a table upstairs. Had to wipe the grubby table with a hand wipe before I ate. I was not offered a paper receipt for my purchases then found that a code on the receipt was needed to get into the toilet. As customers nearby didn't have a receipt, I had to go and ask for the code. I shouldn't have bothered. Only one toilet was available and it was disgusting. The o toilet paper was a soggy roll on the filthy wet floor. There was no soap and the dryer wasn't working. I doubt it had been checked all day. I judge places on the condition of the toilets so I won't eat here again.

Standard Pret experience: select food and cold drinks from fridge, queue to order hot drinks, select a pastry and pay. Very efficient and well-tested. However, to eat in: tables left uncleared and dirty both upstairs and down. Too many people with empty coffee cups hogging tables to use free wi-fi or read their Sunday broadsheets showing no sign of moving when people who've just parted with not inconsiderable sums - including families with young children - obviously need to sit and eat. It was busy, but all in all not a good advert for Pret nor Liverpool. Use Pret as a takeaway but as there are lots of places for eating in around this area, would recommend eating-in somewhere else.

Hot chocolate should be hot, not cold

A standard chain cafe in a central location within the main shopping part of Liverpool. There is a decent amount of seating and a good selection of food and drinks.

Great food, but understaffed, and dirty. The upstairs toilet area has to be accessed via a code ( why ? Anyone wanting free toilets without purchasing anything can go to John Lewis , a 2 minute walk away) . There are 2 unisex cubicles, only one was operational. It was filthy, with no toilet paper , and the hand dryer wasn't working. One of the few food servers in the store was upstairs cleaning tables, abd I told him the toilet needed cleaning. However, 10 minutes later he was downstairs again serving , without having done the toilet clean. Upstairs, although tables were being wiped, the floor was left untrusted see photo. In general, considering this was a few days before Christmas, and a busy afternoon this cafe appeared to be severely understaffed, and some important cleaning has to be left if the priority is serving customers. Great food, but disgusting toilets and floor(upstairs).

I’m disappointed. A cafe in the centre of Liverpool that doesn’t have a working toilet - so I couldn’t go to the loo or wash my hands, staff were talking inappropriately and they were rude to the clients and telling them to go to the toilet in John Lewis, or any other store, whilst we were still eating our food that we had bought, chairs and tables were all around the room ( unorganised ), bins seemed to have been unloaded, as well as, me being expected to clean up someone else’s food and mess before me, it is very unsanitary and unhygienic. Shame on you all, it is the 21st century, wake up and take proper action of your surroundings!!! I expect that the manager shall have a stern talk with staff, who had their shift this evening, between 17:00-18:00. 16/12/2023

Totally recommended this fast food chain, variety, low price and quality

Pret A Manger's current state leaves much to be desired. The overall cleanliness of the establishment is subpar, with dirty tables, trays, and unusable toilets. The sandwiches are overpriced, featuring stale bread, and the coffee consistently has an unwarranted flavored taste. The upstairs area resembles a sauna, making the dining experience uncomfortable. While the store once had a better reputation, it now urgently requires refurbishment, toilet maintenance, a change in coffee blend, and improved staff attentiveness. A disappointing experience deserving of only 2 stars.

They charge £.2.40 for a pinch of cinnamon on coffee What a diguuisting customer service

Placed an order via Ubereats about an hour prior to closing. Ordered a chicken caesar baguette, chipotle crisps, caramel shortbread, blonde iced latte and a berry pot. Turned up nearly an hour later and the crisps and shortbread were missing and the baguette was ham and cheese. To have not been notified that they had replaced an item is very unsafe given possible allergy risks as there was nothing to suggest this wasn’t what i had ordered. Will not be ordering again. thankfully i received a full refund from Ubereats.

It's always dirty and I always have to clean the table before I can sit down. The floors are always dirty and the bins overflowing. I've come here for the last time today and am cancelling my subscription. It's scruffier than burger king, not a pleasant place to be at all. This after I've already been to Derby Square store where the coffee machine is out of order! In general the prices going up has been matched by a total decline in service. And then discovered that the toilets are all out of order as well!

Well, few guys from staff are adorable. But its mostly dirty and they extra charge for staying in but still you drink from paper cups🤣

Toilets closed! Waste area OVERFLOWN WITH GARBAGE! Disgustingly dirty tables and floors. No cleaning whatsoever!!! Unbelievable how low this branch is... it's comparable with the dirtiest Burger King branches. Totally low. Utter garbage. Avoid. I was sitting upstairs for approx 30min,when I came everything was a total mess, and in those 30min noone came up to do any kind of cleaning of tables etc, NOTHING! How is this even real? Pret used to have some standards but now it's as low as it can be. I can only hope their kitchen is cleaner, otherwise this is a serious health risk!

Been using this place for 13 years. Popped in toda, asked for a hot white filter. Asked ‘black ?’ No, hot white filter …… waited and was then given filter with oat milk. Mistake realised, and then given a take out coffee. Walked 5 minutes then sat down to find id been given a black filter coffee. The European kids they employ have a poor grasp of English. Many times my order has been mistaken for ‘oat’ instead of hot. What does it take to have a simple order understood and processed ? There is plenty of choice of coffee outlets in Liverpool city centre. In future I’ll spend my time and money elsewhere. Enough is enough.

Restaurant prêt à manger assez classique mais reste toujours un endroit où j’aime beaucoup aller tant pour les prix corrects que la qualité de la nourriture. La décoration reste par contre assez simple et neutre bien que propre (on ne vient pas à prêt pour la déco). Très bon choix de sandwichs froid et chaud, de soupes, de wraps, de fruits… mention spéciale à la soupe de risotto que j’ai découvert pour la première fois. Le lieu convient idéalement pour prendre à emporter et se caler dans les rues de liverpool ou rester sur place. La salle au RDC est assez petite ainsi que la terrasse mais une salle à l’étage permet d’offrir des sièges supplémentaires.

Ein guter Laden von Pret A Manger. Es gibt wie immer eine gute Auswahl an Heißgetränken, Sandwiches, Joghurt, Kaltgetränke und noch viel mehr. An der Kasse ging es schnell und die Mitarbeiterin war freundlich und nett. Es gibt ein paar Sitzplätze im Erdgeschoss, draußen vor der Tür wo man bei gutem Wetter sitzen kann und einen großen Bereich im ersten Obergeschoss. Hier kann man auch sehr gut am Fenster sitzen.

I have a dream that one day I'll be able to go in and the cashiers will stop taking amongst themselves long enough to not mess up my order. But given that they do this about every third time I'm in I won't hold my breath.

In many ways, a typical Pret cafe. However, with the upstairs seating and being away from the counter area, it made it a quieter and more pleasant place to eat.

It was alright but not enough seating for eating

Avoid if disabled! No disability toilet, high counters and staff that treat you like an inconvenience. Managed to get upstairs to the toilet to find out it needed a code and was out of order anyway, glad I risked losing consciousness and braking my neck to hold me week bladder longer. Ridiculous!

I come to this Pret frequently on my break hours at work. I have to say, the staff are absolutely incredible. The kindest people I know. I also wanted to say thank you to Italian Kevin for being so helpful to me and suggesting new drinks to me and food! Thanks to all at pret for your outstanding service!!

I like Pret in general, but there’s been a staff change here in recent times, and the new people are clueless and the place is pretty dirty.

Came for lunch whilst out shopping, been here many times in the past and used to be a good call. My previous visit I had noticed it had gone down hill with the cleanliness, and seemed like it was being used by students to work from as they were taking up tables. But this time was even worse, the new staff just didn’t have a clue or any common sense. Asked for a white coffee, and I was asked if I wanted milk?? Paid to eat in and they proceeded to put in a bag to take out. Coffee was made right in front of me whilst still paying, yet the staff member wondered off and put it in front of someone else instead of on the tray right near her. And even dirtier this time, it was a bit of a cesspit. My advice would be to go and support the many independent coffee shops and cafes instead where they care about the food/drink, the customers and service they provide.

What a joke.. the manager needs to put signs up. Do not set up shop or office. Yesterday we struggled to get a table with all the so called home workers taking up all the tables with computers, bags, ear phones etc. What made it worse not one of these people had a drink or food infront of themselves. Real customers were buying and having to sit outside in the cold. One guy sat with his feet on a chair reading a book. The manager needs to get a grip. I won't be going back.

One of the quieter Prets in Liverpool, so it's the one I will use for meetings if I am meeting for a coffee or tea. Just over road from Moorfields train station (Old Hall St entrance). Can often get a car space to park outside too. As with a lot of Prets, there aren't many plug points to charge for phones and laptops. Phone reception can often be a problem here, so not a great place if you plan to stop for food and drinks whilst you make calls. Staff usually friendly enough.

I ordered the kale got food and order a mocha then he gave me a latte and never asked for that and he goes that is £6.63 and said I have the app as well didn't let me scan it and then he goes that's £8.73 I said how and he goes because of the app I go there all the time never in my life this has happened.

Terrible customer service. Asked for Earl Grey Tea, they gave me normal black tea. No one said sorry and waited for earl grey tea next to the counter… waited waited waited, there were no customers in the queue. They’ve forget the tea. Finally I had to ask them “are you gonna make my earl grey tea???” None of them said anything, one of the lady started to the tea, finally!!! I wish I would ask for a refund! I felt very uncomfortable. I was supporting This brand as they sell organic coffee, tea. But mark my word I will never ever go to any branch of this shop!

Very busy and everyone seemed confused as to where to order and then where to pick up. Food very nice, hot drinks are actually hot and Staff very friendly. Really annoying that people leave their rubbish on tables instead of putting in the bin when leaving 🙉
