Two in two out ...busy sat afternoon ! Even for a drink ...no were to sit ..cust hogging tables ....bar staff exellent service...atmosphere amazing

Popped in for a tea, my friend ordered food, it came quickly and was presented beautifully, staff friendly and chatty overall a good experience and looking forward to returning for a meal myself.

Always loved it here, back in the day. Don't know the staff now. Was more than a little disappointed with the dismissive attitude from the bar staff when I asked for ice for my friend, who had somehow trapped his finger in the toilet door! I asked 2 staff. No help. All's they were concerned about was I was apparently behind the bar. I wasn't, by the way. Thankfully the manager jumped in to help. He was very good. Came with the first aid kit and the elusive ice. So, thank you very much to you. To the rest of you ... could do better!

Came for a Sunday roast with my husband l, food was lovely and our server Charlotte was so quick and polite, very helpful because I can be a picky eater too 😊 will definitely be returning

First time here and it wont be the last. Popped in for lunch, food arrived quickly and really nicely cooked and presented...tasted good too. I then ordered dessert...apple crumble...big portion too. See you again :-)

Some nice beers and relaxed atmosphere. Service wasn't particularly impressive as even though it was a fairly quiet night the person serving struggled to prise herself away from her phone and her colleague to serve me. No worries as there are plenty of other bars on Allerton Road to spend my money!

Love a big breakfast from here 10/10

So disappointing - normally great but today the food (royale burger) was massively overcooked, bordering on burnt, the chipolata sausages were cooked but rubbery (needed browning), and the beans in the kids meal were served in what can only be described as a thimble - a bizarrely small portion. Service was slow, and it took more than 20 minutes to get the bill despite us sitting right by the till. Such a shame.

Very busy on Saturday early evening with standing room only downstairs because of a function upstairs. City centre prices for drinks. Not my cup of tea sorry

Excellent food, you've got to try their gravy, it's incredible. Excellent service and reasonably priced. The only criticism would be that the winter lunch menu is a little limited.

Stumbled across this little Liverpool gem by accident Had the brunch menu Pancakes were excellent Breakfast muffin was great too. Good coffee ☕

Didn't eat, just drank for à xmas meet-up with friends. Very noisy and crowded and obstructive where it didnt need to be (staff could have advised customers where to sit...) Over all, it was okay but not for the diners 0er say.

Spent the evening here at a suprise birthday party. Venue was very nice and cosy for all our family.

Popped in for lunch after a mooch down Penny Lane. Service was with a smile. Food was delish. Nice ambiance too.

Nice breakfast, great in size. Service wasn't too intrusive. A bit cold inside even with the fire on. Would definitely go back.

It was our first visit to this venue, and it will be our last!. Considering the choice available to us on the location we should of eaten elsewhere, but now we know!. The food was OK quality but was served only warm and we chose from the mid afternoon menu. We were never asked if everything was OK, or if we had any allergies. After the meal we informed our waiter (Freya) that our meals were just warm and was told as we had ordered rare steaks this was to be expected?. She apologised but no offer of a reduction in our bill was offered for the inconvenience You only get one chance to impress and on this occasion was left very disappointed and will not visit again. Time of visit:14.32 ref:8516 On reflection it is advertised as a "Canteen" so perhaps we should of expected this, canteen fare at restaurant prices.

I've ate breakfast at the Three Piggies for a number of years however, the last couple of times the quality of food has dropped. I went to today and ordered a breakfast to which the sausages had clearly been cooked yesterday and re heated today as they were very hard plus the black pudding had been left in the fryer to long which ended up crumbling on the plate. Very disappointed and will look to go elsewhere.

A friend brought us here and it was great. Open and bright environment. Decent drink and snack menu served by very friendly staff.

Great value but tasty well presented food, great choices of beer and dog friendly too so a big win and defo coming back.

Lovely hot coffee and fab breakfast

Had the huevos rancheros, it was VERY small despite it costing £10. My brother described it as a starter...was embarrassing really

Waited over an hour for breakfast muffin which was dry when arrived. Everyone around us had waited longer .If we had been told the waiting time on arrival we wouldnt have stayed the waitresses were nice but run off their feet .Wont be returning .

Nice place for a relaxing breakfast on a Sunday morning

Called in for a spot of lunch with my grown up kids. Lovely atmosphere, very welcoming and really nice food. I had Huevos Rancheros which was excellent! Very good value for money, £65 for 5 meals and a drink each.

Never been before yet met a friend there for a little catch up and a cuppa but what a great place. A scrumptious fantastic menu, which I overheard that they change regularly, in a really lovely, rustic setting and with a real wood burning fire. The staff are very professional and friendly and I can't wait to go back on many occasions as the food being served looked bloody delicious 😋 I'll review again after a meal as I'm very confident I won't be disappointed as I know a few people who've recommended it but for location, service and ambiance it's a gem 👍🏼

We had breakfast here this morning for the first time we won't be rushing back! Although the vegetarian breakfast was very good the avacado mash with poached eggs was awful! The eggs were over-cooked and the avocado mash tasted terrible (processed). I complained to the waitress on 2 occasions and she apologised. However, despite leaving virtually all the meal on my discarded plate no refund was offered!

Cosy atmosphere; the place has rustic decor and super soft seats. The food was delicious 🤩 portion wise is perfect, not too much and not too little, and excellent food presentation. Drinks were good👍🏻 (not diluted) Also, milk alternatives are available for 0.30£ We had a great time and will definitely be back ☺️👌🏻🌸

Nice experience and no complaints at all, my only criticism is that the menu is rather lacklustre. Could do with a few more interesting options.

They dont take reservations but we got kicked off a table for someone else to have by a rude waitress. Refused a refund when we wished to leave because of this.

I really like this place. They have a good selection of beers, ales and lagers. Including guest ales. Food is lovely and there is a variety, that allows for those wanting a snack or a full sized meal. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere is friendly, accommodating and warm. The patrons are all friendly. On top of all that, it's dog friendly. Highly recommended.

The all-day breakfast is lovely - top quality ingredients.

Not often I would classify food as outstanding, quite often I find very dull, plain average food in a pretty space. The capuccino was remarkable, not too strong or bitter, nice thick foamy milk. The mushroom bomboms delicious, tasty and light. The feta/kale roll was extraordinary, like a savoury baklava. Even the fish fingers on the burger were above average, a very common item made with excellent fish quality cooked perfectly. 10/10

Thank you so much for helping to make my daughter's baby shower a memorable day. The food was gorgeous and plenty of it and the service was so good 😊 Highly recommend anybody thinking of having a party to take a look at here.

Lovely to pop in for a drink during the hot spell. The air conditioning was great. Staff were friendly. Only looked at the menu , which was interesting, and I'm sure every could find something to eat.

Possibly the worst Guinness I've had in quite some time. Didn't have food so can't comment on that. If you like a Guinness do not come here.

Went for breakfast with daughter, son in law and grandpuppy. Staff immediately made a fuss of our fluffy boy, gave him treats and water. Other people in with their pooches. Lovely atmosphere, excellent breakfast not long to wait. Will visit again.

Lovely place local to me and my partner always great food and the burgers are great recommend the full breakfasts aswell on a Saturday if you get their before 12.00 am Carnt fault the service always nice waitresses serving with a smile it’s dog friendly aswell 🐶 😊

Really nice place. My partner and I come in for a drink when we can, and between the reasonably priced drinks, comfy decor, friendly staff and really nice local drinkers I honestly can't fault it. It's absolutely perfect for me.

Great place to eat. Menu contains a nice variety of meals that are a little bit different to the standard fare that you often see. Food is tasty and deceptively filling. Service is great, staff checking reguarly to ensure everything OK.

Lovely atmosphere and very nice food here. We tried the beef brisket with the applewood mash potato. Really amazing tastes! I wish it never finished. Staff is lovely and very thoughtful. The place is also dog friendly :) Loved the fairy lights everywhere, gives that extra coziness.

My friends and myself went for breakfast the staff were rude and not very helpful at all. 50mins we waited for breakfast it was cold and expensive. Certainly wouldn't recommend anyone to visit this back street cafe ever. 1.to 10. S..t.

Recently organised our christening after party here at their private upstairs space The Barn. Leading up to the event, Nicola was great on email, answering any queries I had. On the day the team there, Stephen, Hew and Mel were brilliant. Everyone loved the food. The Barn is a great space for an event. Would use it again.

In short, the food is beautiful, and it's great to take the dog along! We were greeted quickly on arrival (late lunchtime) and seated. We were able to order drinks whilst checking out the menu, and our food order was taken soon after. The food arrived incredibly quickly, and looked beautiful. We will definitely return.
