Three Piggies in Liverpool

It is plainly ridiculous not to provide Sauvignon Blanc by the glass! What the hell are they playing at ? Profiteering maybe? Do they really need the money that much. A clear case of the owners not considering the customer.

Well we have been going for years,bar service was really good in the past.Not now, don’t know how to serve those waiting at the bar.Good bye.

Had an absolutely delicious veggie Sunday brunch here today. Huge, tasty and excellent value for money. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly, efficient table service. I'm not always comfortable in pubs but it's so nice and relaxed. Sunday lunches looked good as we were leaving. Highly recommend. A little gem!

3 Piggies is such a chill spot with a great vibe! The atmosphere is lively, and the decor is cozy, making it perfect for a fun night out. and Racheal she’s an absolute gem! She was super attentive, and making sure our drinks were always topped up. Plus, her recommendations were spot-on! First visit and it was lovely. They had heating on so a lovely cosy feel and vibe to the place on a chilly day. Staff lovely and very helpful. Had poached egg and avocado on toast which was lovely. Would recommend.

I love coming here, the atmosphere is always lovely, the service is friendly and helpful every time - I am only ever disappointed if my spot by the fire has been taken!! Dani and Ellie served me when I was there last and were super friendly!

Had a great time at Three Piggies, the burgers and beer were great, and the bartender, Sam, and the waitress, Jess, were very helpful and gave great service! Absolutely made up.

Visited this awesome place last week and had a great time absolutely loved the pfc burger was gorgeous, but the experience was mainly down to a loverly girl at the bar Racheal, she was smiling very polite offered a free birthday shot for me which was incredibly sweet, and she made some amazing cocktails genuinely was a loverly human, she made the time spent there even better, felt truly valued as a customer, most definitely a very valued member of staff 10/10.

I happened upon this lovely establishment whilst visiting Liverpool for the first time with some friends. The environment and vibe of the place was amazing, with the staff being extremely welcoming and warm. Racheal at the bar always had a smile and was happy to help - her Mai Tai cocktails may just be the best I've ever had the pleasure of drinking. 100% would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to eat, drink, and socialise.

As a Hebrew they catered to my kosher needs.

Great food, really friendly service, have been a few time both for breakfast and dinner and even though it was really bus we didn’t have to wait long at all for food. Went for dinner last week and was served by Tom, very friendly, recommended some great dishes. Definitely one of our favourites places to go in the area!

Just wanted to thank Three Piggies for making my husband’s 60th birthday such a special occasion. Everything was fabulous. Olivia was very friendly and welcoming and Sam was the perfect barman. He made sure our every need was catered for and even labelled all the leftovers for us to takeaway. The whole function room was kept clean and tidy the entire duration of the party. Absolutely fabulous service. Highly recommend this restaurant and function room. Full stars!

Had a fantastic Sunday Lunch here, food was fabulous and the service was friendly and nothing was too much trouble, we asked to change a few thing due to dietary issues and they made it so easy for us. Highly recommend

This was a lovely little spot a juster outside of the city centre. The staff were very friendly and made sure me and my friends were always happy. Our server was a young Irish girl Aoideen I think who helped us have a brilliant night and we had plenty of laughs with her. Will definitely be back again!

I came into Three piggies for a roast for first time today with my friend and we had the roast beef and it was lovely and the cauliflower cheese was gorgeous too. The manager with the beard and glasses was very friendly and made sure everything was perfect. I will definitely be back

Lovely breakfast this morning. Have been before but today they were just so helpful and friendly when we mentioned our son’s dietary requirements that I wanted to leave a review. The food was great as always. Nice place.

Absolute disgrace. Complete nose dive since the new ownership came in. Just been on for the first time in ages due to a bad experience last time. Waited for a while for someone to seat us (family of 4 with two young kids). Sat ourselves down. My wife had to go and get menus, she chatted to the chap who was serving whilst getting them. waited for ages, he stood by the order til literally staring at us. Still didn’t bother coming to take orders etc. All whilst we’re sat there with two hungry kids. Terrible terrible service. Got up and left.

Service was slow, we got steak and steak sandwich, all of which were as tough as rubber, couldn't chew it or cut it, coleslaw was tasteless and the home made nachos were more like biscuits the humus and chips were nice, but overall very disappointed and won't be returning to eat

Food was good and good music, but waitress was awful. Very rude, made us feel like we were a massive inconvenience.

Had one of the best breakfast I have ever had here. I had the ultimate breakfast muffin and my husband had a small English. Very tasty.

Lovely restaurant on Allerton road. Food was great. Service was excellent, staff were quick and polite. Very mindful that some of us were still eating. We went Saturday evening and the atmosphere was great but it was a little loud, no issues with that, but if you are wanting a quieter place to eat is all I’m saying. Great for drinks and lots of space. Would recommend and would definitely return.

Probably one of the better pubs in this area. Good range of beer, with some interesting ales, but only an average cider on tap. Nice inside but also outside seating available so on a nice day it's a good spot to watch the world go by.

Went here on a whim as we were supposed to be at a festival but rain stopped us, wanted a Sunday Roast and found this online, the food was absolutely lovely, one of the best restaurant roasts I have ever had (and I’ve had a lot!), the cauliflower cheese was amazing, only think I would say is another choice of meat would be good as only beef or chicken. Staff really nice and friendly, 100% recommend.

Came here as a last minute decision as booked elsewhere that was dreadful. Couldn’t fault the place, the staff were lovely, food was nice & tasty. And good selection of beers. Will definitely return. 👏👏

The menu offers a great variety of options, from classic dishes to creative twists on favorites. I had the eggs benedict, and my partner had ‘the whole hog’ and it was delicious! The coffee was strong and fresh, a perfect complement to the meal. What really stood out was the exceptional service. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. Everyone was so friendly and smiley. Overall, The Three Piggies is a fantastic spot for a hearty breakfast or a laid-back meal. We’ll definitely be returning soon!

Breakfast was horrible it came with warm bread instead of toast missed the black pudding off . Luke warm food and the manager insisting I pay for it when I never ate it . Definitely won’t go back again

Used to come a lot for the lovely atmosphere and food but unfortunately will not return now. The menu used to be lovely with a gorgeous chicken burger with onion rings, chips and gravy for £16. The chicken burger is now different, the same price but not including the additional onion rings and gravy. We paid 3.50 to add on the gravy. £20 for a basic, very average burger and awful chips. Such a shame the food is now overpriced and basic. Did not enjoy it at all

Not much choice, at 10.30 am but veggie breakfast was ok. Not cheap.

Food was on the cheap side. My Chicken Ceaser was on a chiabatta roll wich was cold and had only 2 slices of chicken and some lettuce and 1 slice of bacon. Chips were microwaved to reheat. Soft and not nice. The waitress said that was how they were supposed to be served and that i was wrong. I asked for them to be replaced and there was no differance by far. Fresher and crispier. Large bowls of soup only half full no garnishes. The waitress was very young and determined to speak her mind. I have always been taught working in customer service that Everyone can do customer service however what it's really about is the customers Experience. How did you make them feel and will they come back. For me it's a NO.

Was visiting Liverpool with my family and wandered into Three Piggies for brunch with my daughter. A lovely venue with a wonderful atmosphere. Was greeted quickly and served fast. We were told it was a new menu and it was great. Our waitress elspeth was so attentive and friendly, she made us feel really welcome. Would recommend!

Ordered 2 burgers , 1 soda .1half larger. The burgers arrived, a few chips and could have done with a bit of salad, quite expensive for a so so burger. Drinks arrive but instead of half a larger a wine appeared, brought this to servers attention, she then returned with a pint of larger , I gave up, not like it was busy, maybe at most 12 people . Expensive, not worth money, won’t be going again.

Wasn’t a bad meal but not as good as usual! Starter was great but the main fish and chips was disappointing. Very heavily battered and the chips were horrible, thin and greasy and the mint peas were quite vile. As usual though the service was 5* and the staff were very friendly and accommodating! It won’t put me off going again

It's definitely a good place to visit if you're around this part of town. Been several times over a two year period and every visit, either if it's just for a drink or a meal, like today, it's great. The staff are always welcoming you and pendant to take your order at the right time. Complimentary water without asking for it. It's atmosphere is cozy and modern. Facilities are clean, as well as their toilets. The prices are in line with average.

Nice place . Clean, very difficult to park your car as on main road. Had to park a good walk away . Staff nice, I found it expensive for what you got , not value for money at all, bit over priced. Stingy portions.

Went in for breakfast and got the Three Piggies Breakfast for £11. Brilliant full English with great ingredients and some of the best poached eggs I've ever had! Nice atmosphere and really helpful staff. First visit but based on the breakfast alone will be going back to try the evening food.

MY STAR RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ EXPERIENCE: firstly, can I just mention that this place is dog friendly!? We’ve recently just rescued a puppy and can’t leave her in the house unsupervised, so we were looking for a place that accommodates dogs, more specifically a place I could have her on my knee as she hasn’t had all her needles yet. This place was more than accommodating, and it seems the staff love dogs too as people kept coming over to give her some attention, which she loved! We opted for a ‘big plate’ each, we got the fish and chips and the chicken royale burger. Both 10/10, this fish melted in your mouth and the batter was so crispy but not greasy in the slightest. The bill came to £36 including two soft drinks, which is pretty decent! I’ve been here before for breakfast and they are so generous with the portion sizes, this is something that is consistent here. Would highly recommend if you’re up Allerton way, parking can be a little tricky as it is all street parking, and you can’t book a table here unless your party is over a specific size, however the two times I’ve visited it’s never been an issue getting a table.

Only 1 member of staff working with a full bar/ restaurant. Slight wait to be served. Food very average. Little copper pans used to serve food had a weird smell which put us off. We mentioned that the sausage roll which we had eaten before was very dry & tasteless and which was left practically uneaten we were told oh I will tell chef. When the bill arrived we had been charged for said sausage roll and when we commented on the fact we were told yes you have !! I feel the place has gone down hill in the last few months. Would go back for a drink but not for food

Brown haired woman who served us was lovely. However, the food was so poor for the price. Bone found in my girlfriend's thai green curry. My steak was going on rancid, slopped together on my plate with a bit of garlic butter. HUGE flies and moths all across the dining area. Shame as was looking forward to eating here but we ended up going Dominos across the road straight after. Seems a nice place for a drink but I would encourage people going out for food to find somewhere else to eat, or you'll be £60 down for what should've cost £30.

Great bar service nice an relaxed atmosphere

Not been before, popped in on way home for a bite to eat. I'm GF so pleased there was something for me. Tomato and basil soup and truffle chips were delicious. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Would go again and bring family!

I haven't eaten in this place, but other customers seem to enjoy their food. The selection of beers is excellent, and the staff is very helpful. Even though the place could be occasionally noisy (but it varies a lot), it was a very good experience to be there with my acquaintances.

Great roast dinner two weeks ago but this latest visit for the same was a big disappointment. Food only slightly warm, very small veg portions, no yorkie on one dinner. Big let down for us. Waitresses were really good and friendly as usual but food awful

It was my mother in laws 72 birthday and I had booked a different restaurant that changed its opening hours the day before and didn't tell us. I rocked up with 4 adults (fussy eaters) and a dog, for a birthday with no where to go. Three little piggies welcomed us without a booking and were super. So accommodating, great service, great food, great with my dog, great wine choice! They even altered one of the starter options so serve it as a snack for my pug! I honestly can't thank them enough for saving rhe day. We had a fab night and ended up staying for a quiz we didnt know was on. Will always return now.

Do not go here for breakfast or brunch. Not one to usually leave reviews but wow. We chose the ultimate breakfast muffin and it made McDonald’s look like something from harrods, and cost around £12. It looked like the sausages had been reheated and were so dry, I also had poached eggs and they were both overcooked and not even runny which I don’t expect for £13. - plus £8 for a glass of flat prosecco with some orange juice. I always see this place super busy so thought I’d try it, daylight robbery and such poor food! Only good thing was the waiting on staff, but I feel sorry for them when the food is that bad - we didn’t want to put them out and send the food back and make their job even harder on a hot summers day.

Always a delight. Knowledgeable staff and great selection of beers and wine. Food has improved a little recently. Can get very busy at times so go early to guarantee a seat.

Nice atmosphere and good waiter service. We have been coming here regularly for their outstanding steak, chips and peppercorn sauce. Sadly the menu and it appears the chef have changed. Last nights steak was over cooked, dry and chewy covered in garlic with no sauce - we won’t be ordering food here again.

Best breakfast we have had in Liverpool. All 3 of us had something different. And all the food & drinks were great. On the way to Manchester airport with good food inside us. Thank you.

Popped in for a tea, my friend ordered food, it came quickly and was presented beautifully, staff friendly and chatty overall a good experience and looking forward to returning for a meal myself.

Always loved it here, back in the day. Don't know the staff now. Was more than a little disappointed with the dismissive attitude from the bar staff when I asked for ice for my friend, who had somehow trapped his finger in the toilet door! I asked 2 staff. No help. All's they were concerned about was I was apparently behind the bar. I wasn't, by the way. Thankfully the manager jumped in to help. He was very good. Came with the first aid kit and the elusive ice. So, thank you very much to you. To the rest of you ... could do better!

Some nice beers and relaxed atmosphere. Service wasn't particularly impressive as even though it was a fairly quiet night the person serving struggled to prise herself away from her phone and her colleague to serve me. No worries as there are plenty of other bars on Allerton Road to spend my money!

So disappointing - normally great but today the food (royale burger) was massively overcooked, bordering on burnt, the chipolata sausages were cooked but rubbery (needed browning), and the beans in the kids meal were served in what can only be described as a thimble - a bizarrely small portion. Service was slow, and it took more than 20 minutes to get the bill despite us sitting right by the till. Such a shame.

Very busy on Saturday early evening with standing room only downstairs because of a function upstairs. City centre prices for drinks. Not my cup of tea sorry

Excellent food, you've got to try their gravy, it's incredible. Excellent service and reasonably priced. The only criticism would be that the winter lunch menu is a little limited.

Didn't eat, just drank for à xmas meet-up with friends. Very noisy and crowded and obstructive where it didnt need to be (staff could have advised customers where to sit...) Over all, it was okay but not for the diners 0er say.

Spent the evening here at a suprise birthday party. Venue was very nice and cosy for all our family.

It was our first visit to this venue, and it will be our last!. Considering the choice available to us on the location we should of eaten elsewhere, but now we know!. The food was OK quality but was served only warm and we chose from the mid afternoon menu. We were never asked if everything was OK, or if we had any allergies. After the meal we informed our waiter (Freya) that our meals were just warm and was told as we had ordered rare steaks this was to be expected?. She apologised but no offer of a reduction in our bill was offered for the inconvenience You only get one chance to impress and on this occasion was left very disappointed and will not visit again. Time of visit:14.32 ref:8516 On reflection it is advertised as a "Canteen" so perhaps we should of expected this, canteen fare at restaurant prices.

I've ate breakfast at the Three Piggies for a number of years however, the last couple of times the quality of food has dropped. I went to today and ordered a breakfast to which the sausages had clearly been cooked yesterday and re heated today as they were very hard plus the black pudding had been left in the fryer to long which ended up crumbling on the plate. Very disappointed and will look to go elsewhere.
