Dockleaf Bar in Liverpool

First time visiting this side of Liverpool. The service was fantastic and friendly, food was delicious and the atmosphere was great, nothing negative about this place.

Bar is nice, staff great. Can't comment on food. Drinks are a little on the pricey side but the T͐͑͋o͌̚͝i̓̐͒ĺ͌͐e̓͊̓t̾͌̕s͆̽̀ a̒̒̚r̓͒e̿̈́̈́ n̓͑͑ö́͒͒t͐̒̒ a̓̕͘ v̽͒͘i̓̓̀b̔͐͋e̔̓͝. The gents had no seat in it. If you're serious about running a bar don't have toilets you'd expect in an MDMA-fuelled nightclub.

Was glad to see they had vegan pizza but the cheese tasted really weird like bubble gum. Please get nicer vegan cheese and it’ll be great !

Absolutely awful service. 25 mins from first burger to last so one of our party was eating on their own. Not a single check back from staff who were just stood at the bar chatting - I had to shout to get the servers attention twice - which wouldn’t have happened if we would have had a check back! The burgers were not even finished with a measly bit of lettuce - for £9 just for the burger it was daylight robbery. Tables weren’t cleared after finishing the food and no clean down in between. Awful. Won’t be returning. Avoid.

Went with some friends. Staff nice but order wrong and service very slow. However, food was nice and reasonably priced.

Really enjoyed this place in the middle of the Baltic, they serve nice food and cocktails. We sat outside in the sunshine, they also have an upstairs. We tried the Hugo cocktail, a variation of G&T accompanied with a croque monsieur toast and garlic and parmesan fries. They seemed to have been understaffed when we went, we had to order everything at the bar where only two people were working and the queue to order was quite long. But it was also a busy day, and everything was tasty, so still enjoyed it.

This place has become my go to after a hard ride into the city. Cold beer, great seating inside and out, including a roof terrace. Good selection on tap. Great choice of food on menu as well. Highly recommended. Great staff, great service and great location.

Well what can i say about this bar. Ask for a normal beer, Coranna or a Malibu and told they didn't sell them Ended up with a Spanish beer but when i asked for another they'd sold out....wow Then we got told we had to be out by 3pm Though i must admit the food we ordered was top notch

Not good food at all. The fungi pizza was burnt and undercooked at the same time. It had a gritty texture, not sure if the mushrooms were not cleaned properly but really not enjoyable. The table of four was served half an our apart from two diners to the other two so was a bit awkward eating separately. I wont dine here again.

Went here today with my Mum and Dad. Great location in Liverpool city centre with friendly staff! Highly recommended!! :)

Very poor service. Took ages. Our vegan friend know her burger was meat. Three times the staff insisted it was vegan. Eventually the manager admitted it was BEEF! Luckily our friend had only had a mouthful Very disappointing and won’t trust the staff there again to be truthful. The manager did compensate us with a round of drinks However, if you have dietary requirements make surf you check 🤢

Lovely staff and the music was great. The pizza and fries are the standout menu options. Drinks are a little expensive but not enough to stop me ordering

Popped over to the Baltic Market for a couple of beers and decided to park ourselves at The Dockleaf. Decided on the really tasty Camden Town Brewery beer which is served in fab pint glasses. Great staff.

Stayed in Liverpool for two days and was told to pop down to the Baltic quarter. Decided on the Dockleaf to rehydrate on a very sunny day. Whilst drinking noticed other customers food and decided it looked good enough to eat, so that’s exactly what we did. My wife chose beetroot and goat cheese salad, and I had the chicken ceaser salad with a side portion of rustic chips with garlic and Parmesan. Plates were cleaned and more drinks ordered, thoroughly enjoyed and if we return to Liverpool would definitely return. Thanks to the young hostess from Tamworth who served us.

We visited on a really busy weekend, despite this, Charlotte was still an absolute friendly queen and was running round like a headless chicken trying to get everyone sorted, we were also greeted by a dude with a beard (didn’t catch his name), but he seemed really nice and cool. Both stars x

Came here on Saturday, service was so slow, we ordered and had to wait 50 minutes for chips, garlic bread and a small macaroni. The macaroni was really bad, so stodgy and tasted funny. The drinks made up for it as the cocktails were really nice, staff were friendly, just really slow and food wasn't nice.

Best delivery burger and chips I've ever, ever had. Obscenely large portion of chips. Fresh burger bun. Burger PERFECTLY cooked. And it even managed to look attractive on arrival, impressive considering it went halfway across the city. Worth every penny of the £16, trust me.

Had a very good experience in this place with my daughter. The food comes rapidly and the service is just fantastic. Prices are reasonable.

Best bar in liverpool hands down. Regulars since day one and looking forward to normality resuming for great pints and even better service. See you soon guys!

I visit this excellent restaurant every couple of days since I love the special atmosphere that is part of this place. The crew is extremely friendly and skilfull. The service is awfully efficient. Also, the food you get is magnificent. I have been there often and I was always satisfied. The payment is modest. I suggest this place to to all.

Can not fault this place! Visited for a Sunday lunch and it was incredible. Really decent portion size, very tasty and well cooked. The service was friendly and welcoming and Covid measures were in place. After having this place recommended to me on so many occasions I can’t believe how long it took me to finally visit. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Recently came here for Sunday roast after being recommended by a friend. When we got there we got sat down and our order taken. We were highly disappointed that there was no mash potato left, despite it being very very quiet. I ordered the chicken and my girlfriend ordered the beef. The beef was very fatty and the most of it inedible. My chicken was fine however the pigs and blankets we received on the side, cold and underdone. From a service point of view, we received our food, and didn’t get any cutlery. We waited hoping someone would notice, however I ended up having to ask a member of staff. No check backs to see if our food was ok, no drinks offered although we had empty glasses. Poor overall, such a shame as we had previously heard good things!

Food was lovely and service good. The let down was the fact the doors were wide open and it was freezing, not exactly a nice summers day outside. Had to sit with our coats on the whole time. Our friend who didn’t have a coat wrapped his arms in napkins. Would return if they put the heating on.

Food was lovely and service good. However it was freezing because the doors were wide open and was’t exactly a nice day outside. Had to sit with our coats on for the whole time.

last night was the first time we visited this good restaurant. But It is surely not the last time. We had great time with the efficient service, with the first-rate meal and wine and with the honest price. We will no doubt come back again.

I’m not a vegetarian by any means but the veggie roast is out of this world. Washed down with O.G’s cocktails couldn’t rate it high enough

Your "Urban Local" defines Dockleaf perfectly. A slick operation headed up and driven by knowledgeable owners and passionate staff; delivered with a huge deal of competency. Unrivaled selection of spirits, fantastic cocktails and wines and a great choices in beer. Topped off with great food, a comfortable environment and wonderful music and entertainment. 10/10

We came to the Baltic Quarter to visit the Peaky Blinders bar for lunch but left when we discovered they don’t sell food!! We were just about to leave the area and we saw a board advertising Dockleaf Sunday Roasts. Tired, cold and hungry we weren’t expecting great things, but how wrong could we be?! We stumbled on a real gem here. As a vegetarian I was unsure I would enjoy Sunday roast but it was absolutely lovely and honestly one of the best lunches I’ve ever had! You will not be disappointed. Beautiful butternut squash roast with herb roasts, wonderful veg and the most amazing Guinness gravy!!! Recommend this place 100% and to top it all off - the loveliest, friendly staff. What’s not to love?! ❤️

I come here quite regularly for the Sunday roasts, absolutely delicious and generous in portion size! The only thing stopping me from giving this 5 stars is that the tables are often still very sticky, I’m assuming from the prior evening. Aside from that, a relatively comfortable surrounding- bright and spacious.

Great bar - nice selection of drinks, good music, calm and laid back atmosphere and very friendly staff. Could have stayed all eve.

Came here to watch the match with friends after eating at the Baltic market, i came to ask if they had a wheelchair entrance and instead of answering my question the guy at the bar said that i couldn’t come here with food cuz i was holding a bowl of chips which it’s fine but he never answered my main question which I found really rude. Work with your customer service please, specially when your facilities are not that clear at all for disable people.

Great place to have a beer or a tasty meal in the Baltic market. I'd be grateful if anyone could tell me the name of the amber beer in my pic! I loved it and I can't find it anywhere else. By the way, friendly staff, nice atmosphere and delicious hamburgers. 100% recommended!

Anunciaba un asado y no estaba demasiado ocupado así que se adelantó.Ordenado en el bar y la comida llegó a una espera razonable, la comida era muy normal y me habían acabado los 2 artículos que quería (asado de cordero y cerdos en mantas)El mal servicio es uno de mis mayores errores, si pago mi dinero ganado por una comida, espero que los cubiertos sean traídos a la mesa. La señora que nos dejó la comida fue antipática y, cuando se le preguntó acerca de lo más lindo, solo señaló hacia el inodoro. El servicio fue casi grosero.Pensé que esto podría ser único, pero observé el servicio a otras mesas que parecían igualmente pobres. Incluso compartí una broma con la mesa que estaba a mi lado, ya que parecían igual de divertidos por su falta.Hay muchos más establecimientos en esta zona más merecedores de tus tokens divertidos. No volveré en ningún momento pronto espero que tal vez pruebe el bar de la azotea que se ve bien.

Llegamos a The Dockleaf un domingo por la tarde, nos encanta la atmósfera y la decoración. Conseguimos una mesa en el nivel superior y bajamos al bar. Pedimos que nos dijeran amablemente que la comida podría tomar un tiempo porque había habido una gran demanda, le explicamos que teníamos un miembro de nuestro grupo que tenía que tomar un tren, luego decidimos quedarnos. ¡Me alegro de haberlo hecho! Pedimos unas copas de las más deliciosas Bucky O’hare. Cuando estábamos sentados en nuestra mesa, el personal regularmente nos mantenía informados sobre lo que estaba sucediendo con el pedido a pesar de que estaba muy ocupado. Los caballeros que nos habían servido en el bar se acercaron a la mesa para ofrecer una ronda de bebidas en la casa a la espera (cuando supimos de la espera) 5 cenas de asados llegaron con una presentación hermosa, productos frescos y un sabor delicioso. Nos gustaría dar las gracias por una visita excepcional. ¡Así es como debe hacerse la hospitalidad que todos dejamos felices y llenos! ! siga haciendo lo que está haciendo, se lo recomendamos a cualquiera que desee una excelente comida y un excelente servicio.

Come here quite alot it never fails! Great atmosphere with fantastic food and drinks. The Guinness is 🔥 and the roasts are amazing.

Venir a Dockleaf regularmente no puede salir mal. El asado es fantástico, todo hecho en casa y puede decir que se pone mucho amor en él. El queso de coliflor y chirivías eran lados encantadores también.Guiness es adorable y puede ser horrible a veces. Desafortunadamente yo estaba conduciendo así que no podía tener más de uno! Un excelente servicio cordial de todo el personal también en un almuerzo de domingo muy concurrido, ya que el juego Liverpool v man u estaba activo.

Went in for a drink - Service average, wine very expensive (London prices - glass £7) Food looked OK (people on the next table were eating), toilets a bit botched together.

Flushing the toilet stop's the water in the washhand basin!

Sunday roast was amazing, very relaxed atmosphere

Reasonable setting but overpriced with poor facilities (low water pressure, terrible loos) and staff who don't seem to care much about anything.

Great meeting place to start a night off or simply just somewhere to sit and chat! Friendly staff and decent live music..

Found this by chance but what a great Sunday lunch - just like home cooked. Nice atmosphere , preferred to one opposite that offered more street food.

We called in at the Dockleaf on a Friday afternoon. The bar was fairly quiet when we were there but that was great as we got served straight away. We had the ‘murky’ beer (can’t remember what it was called!) which was excellent with sour overnotes. The girls had g&t;’s. a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Spent an hour or so here yesterday afternoon. My wife loved the banana beer! The vegetarian food choices were limited but delicious. Hassleback spuds with rock salt and shallots, and rainbow carrots in butter with carrot puree - absolutely lovely! Staff were lovely too, music was acoustic-type and not too loud, which is always a plus for me. We sat at the table right in front of the door and watched the comings and goings of the crowds visiting the Baltic Market; fascinating!

Of all the bars we went into today, this is easily my favourite. There was live music by a solo guitarist/singer that was pleasurable to listen to. The best perch we found was by the roof terrace overlooking the Baltic Triagle. It was the most spacious and uncrowded place we entered with areas spread over three floors, toilet facilities on the top floor. The ground floor is wheel friendly and easily accessible. It was a moment of calm for us while we contemplated our next move.

Cheap beer and good music I don’t what else to say !! Plus bouncers aren’t little idiots like the Baltic market

Went here for the England V Sweden WC quarter final. As expected, the atmosphere was great. The staff were very friendly and it was easy to get served quickly despite the bar being busy.

A laid back little bar in the Baltic Triangle, in amongst the collection of other hipster bars and eateries by the brewery. Relaxed atmosphere is great for drink after work, but as expected, it does have Baltic Triangle prices.

Celebrated my graduation party here on 23rd June. Had an amazing night, love the venue and atmosphere. The staff were all amazing thank you so much to Conor, Chris, Natalie, Pedro and all the rest of the bar staff. They allowed me to have my own personalised cocktails list which I loved! Catering was 5 stars too, did exactly what I wanted and everybody loved the sandwiches and hasselback chips, so much food thank you to Dan and the Skaus team.... Perfect place for a function, thanks again!!!

Had my daughters graduation party, she has just qualified as a dentist. The staff were extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, Service excellent. Would recommend Dockleaf for any function, very chilled. Doormen very pleasant. Food was excellent. Lots of it. Serviced freshly made , the food left over they kindly wrapped for us to pick up next day. Could not fault the place. Chris and Pedro bar staff. All excellent and young girl. Very efficient. All bar staff were very good. Wish could do it all again Thank you Dockleaf. Wish you every success you deserve it Thank you Very much for making our daughters nite extra special. We visited Liverpool for a weekend and amongst the multitude of eateries, bars and culturally rich gathering spots we found Dockleaf Bar at Cain's Brewery in The Baltic Triangle. Dockleaf is a trendy bar set in a suitably and fashionably distressed warehouse building, decked out in rustic furniture with a home made feel that extends outside to the piazza style seating that makes for a brilliant sun trap. A full range of ales is on offer, both on tap, in tins and bottled, complimented by a diverse cocktail menu featuring a light, refreshing and flavourful rhubarb gin and tonic. Dockleaf also features a pop gourmet kitchen that offers a myriad of exciting a bold, ever changing bites and mains.

I've visited Liverpool many times over the past few years but this was my first visit to the Baltic Triangle. It's such a vibrant & unique area full of great places to eat and drink

Went here on the Sunday of the bank holiday. Drank on the top floor open air terrace. Nice to be outside in the sunshine and able to look down on the other bars and people.

Quirky bar on former brewery industrial complex . Cocktails are very popular here and we had to wait a while to get served at bar as the barmen prepared cocktails for others ahead of us . Nice choice of draft beers and a favourite hard to get vodka please one of our party. By the door there is a small food preparation area which we sampled - even had fresh oysters enjoyed by one of my friends

Great bar, lovey atmosphere and excellent drink selection. Not gimmicky like the other bars around it, just simple good drinks and friendly staff. Also the plastic straw ban is an absolute plus for me! a bar that cares about the environment it in!!
