A day off work and meeting friends later on in the day to celebrate a birthday ,my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into a few pubs on the way so we decided to visit The Foresters Inn,a pub I occasionally drop into and I must say we had a very pleasant time. A small pub ,interior is nice ,a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, big screen to enjoy the sport ,pubby decor and furnishings and lots of seating options ,it's just a great pub to chill out in. We were here on a Thursday early afternoon,we ordered a Carling Brewery beer each ,served freezing cold ,we chilled out and sipped our beers and looked forward to the day ahead. Not my normal tipple ,more a real ale and craft beer fan myself but I must say this beer was good ,iced cold and sparkling and very easy to drink ,this beer certainly cut through the thirst. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and as on every previous visit to here we had a good time. The Foresters Inn is easy to locate along Longmoor Lane. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,11am till 11.30pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

The Foresters Inn is a traditional local pub on Longmore Lane that offers a very good range of well priced drinks and is a pub me and my twin brother have visited numerous times over the years. This pub is as local as it get's and is always full of local characters. This is a superb pub to watch live sport and when we visited this pub was very busy. The pub itself isn't really that big but there's superb seating options throughout the whole interior. This was our first visit this year and the pub hasn't changed a bit. There where a couple of locals in here having a couple of pints of beer and watching the live sport. We where served by a very friendly barmaid who was superb. When we visited here we had a few pints of Carling brewery lager's which were superb and well priced as this pub isn't in the town centre of Liverpool. This is a superb local pub and one we must visit more often as it's a stone's throw away from where we work and it has great public transport link's.(This is my second review of the Foresters Inn). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-11.00-23.30. Public Transport. Bus Stop. Seventh Avenue bus stop. Train Station. Fazakerley train station.

We are visitors in Liverpool, and we wanted to watch the Roland Garros final. We popped into this pub just to find that they are not showing the tennis. I asked the owner if she maybe knows where we will be able to watch the tennis. She immediately switched two of the screens to the tennis, and we enjoyed very well priced beers. Within minutes of arrival, some of the locals started to chat to us, and soon after we were friendly to almost everyone in the pub. It is definitely the friendliest place I have been, with amazing staff and locals. You will hopefully see us soon!!

My girlfriend and I went in to the Forrester's on a very sad occasion. Within minutes of going in on a rain soaked day we were offered towels to get dry and a heater next to our table . The staff could not have been more helpful and kind. A proper locals pub full of character and characters . Lovely Guinness that kept flowing and a great jukebox!!! Good for sport and doesn't matter if your red or blue or in my case Chelsea all are welcome . For anyone who doubts about the friendliness of Liverpool people this pub puts that debate to rest. Thanks again to Diana and all , you helped turn a sad day into a much bearable one.

A nice place to have a drink or a meal. The staff were friendly and it had a nice atmosphere. It would have got 5 stars but it had a beer garden and the doors were locked.

This place is enough to make you stop drinking. I suppose it fills the gap left by the closure and demolition of The Chaser. I really wouldn't lose a moment's sleep if Forresters Inn succomed to the same fate.

Spit. Sawdust. Local pub for local people. They had a great selection of Carling, Carling and Carling. The 2nd star was because of the karaoke bar ladies. I would call them girls but that would be aspirational.

A bit pricey, but food servings are quite large. Taxidermy decor is offputting. Good vibes.

Been here a few times watch the football. It has loads of screens strategically placed all around, good crowd with a good mix of people. Has a couple of pool tables which is great as it's not all that common in pubs these days. Have yet to try the food but I'm sure it is great as well, looks good anyway.

Rubbish place. Advertise all sports. Told a particular football match was on. Bought drinks. No football match.
