Booked for Valentine’s meal and it was absolutely incredible 🥰 lovely seating, staff were attentive & food/drink was divine 😍 highly recommend! Thank you :)

Popped in here for an impromptu solo brunch, service from the first step into the door was exceptional. Toilets were super clean. Quick shout out: Gary was a shining example of what cool, calm, informative and attentive service looks like. Regarding the food, the eggs were slightly over, not that I minded too much, though with that level of service you want to have the food matching, so you can really hit that 10/10. Will 100% be back to see what the evening service is like! Overall rating 8/10

Me and my partner visited Browns Liverpool on my birthday. Food was really good. I had stake which comes with fries, however, as I prefer mash potatoes, which I ask instead of fries, which was delivered as requested. My partner had pumpkins ravioli. In the end I had really good surprise they made Happy Birthday dessert for me. Service was exceptional and attentive. Staff member name was Tanya. Well done.

Lovely atmosphere, staff were friendly but didn't check everything was OK. Food produce was good quality. However, some items on my traditional breakfast were overcooked and burnt. Staff dealt with the issue professionally and did not charge for the plate. Partners' eggs royale was delicious. Would recommend and return.

A little disappointed today , breakfast was not up to usual standard , half a mushroom dry sausage looked as though they’d been left a while , dry black pudding overcooked

Served by Gary Very attentive ensured we had everything without being over the top, Was a very chill and comfortable environment to just sit have a coffee and some breakfast! (Eggs were perfect btw) I would recommend for an enjoyable rest break from the hustle and bustle or cold weather! And believe it or not but prices did not break the bank and I would class it as affordable luxury!

Since I was in England, I wanted to try afternoon tea, so I made a reservation. Even though I made a reservation, the desserts and sandwiches took about 30 minutes to come out. Other than that, I was satisfied. The staff were very friendly and often asked if I needed anything. The food served was plentiful and the sweetness of the dessert was perfect to enjoy with tea. I was able to spend time leisurely.

Really poor service through a misleading January offer that advertised £10 off with your main meal. Then when we came to pay was advised the £10 could only be used per 1 transaction, meaning the equivalent of a 6 person table would only get £1.66 off their meal bill. Complained to the manager who advised there was nothing he could do, and it was just how the tills were set up! Outrageous!

Food was lovely and beautiful decor. Alot of the servers especially the bar staff seem disinterested with slow service and 0 conversation, 20 minutes to get a drink when it was not that busy. You could see one of the waiters really went above and beyond, lovely to see them get a cuddle of one of the younger diners. If we had them the review would have been better.

Came with my friend and daughter on a Thursday night. We had a nice relaxed evening and were served by the gorgeous Lisa. She was very friendly, helpful and gave special attention to my 5 year old’s requirements. The food was nice and the atmosphere was relaxing. I would recommend Browns to any of my family and friends.

My daughter and I wen't there for brunch on Saturday the 20th Dec, food was absalutely fab we both had eggs benedict never tasted eggs like them before i always live eggs benedict were ever i go ! but browns was delicious the staff were also lovely ,also very nice ambiance and cozy thanku browns !

Spent christmas day with my family today at browns and it was just amazing!! Couldn’t have asked for better service - Emma who was looking after our table was so attentive and made sure we were all happy and had drinks!! Thank you so much for a fabulous christmas!

We decided as a family for the first time to eat out this year for Christmas dinner (11 of us in total). Browns was the obvious choice with the beautiful surroundings, tasty food and attentive staff. It didn’t disappoint! Worth every penny. Food was delicious and plentiful. Staff, were lovely and although it was clear to see they were run off their feet, they provided an excellent service with a smile (especially Emma). Thank you to all at Browns for making our Christmas Day special🎄🥂🎅

Came to browns today for Christmas dinner! Food was perfect, atmosphere was perfect & service was perfect too! Emma was our waitress and she was amazing she went above and beyond to accommodate our big family. So thank you for making our day special as I appreciate it must be hard work with how busy it was and also being away from your own families on Christmas Day!

An Excellent lunch at Browns. Staff so friendly. Our Server was Lee, he was professional, attentive, efficient and friendly. His service, together with excellent food and atmosphere made our pre Christmas lunch most enjoyable. A great venue, would highly recommend.

Fabulous early evening mid-week Christmas meal at Browns Liverpool - gorgeous surroundings, delicious food and excellent service.

First visit yesterday. Atmosphere is nice and chilled. We were able to have a drink before we got seated - no rush to get us to our table which gave us more time for catching up. Food was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be returning.

We booked a table for 4.45pm on Saturday 7th amid Storm Darragh. We were taken to a lovely table upstairs and enjoyed great service from our server (I forgot to note her name) and from the main courses we have two festive burgers that we enjoyed (need more coleslaw next time!!), a fish pie that went down well but sadly the sole was so boney it put my gf off....she ate about a quarter and gave up, the server asked if she wanted anything else but we are not good at moaning and said its okay. The plate had more bones than fish tbh. We deducted 1 star because of this and will think twice about a fish dish.....

Our server Lisa was lovely from start to finish with regular check backs for the food to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. She was very bubbly and chatty whilst remaining professional and proficient. Despite the busy time of year and the restaurant being fully booked with many big tables and party’s the food was quick without dropping in quality and Lisa was able to make us feel at ease and at no point did we feel rushed. Overall great night from the browns team in Liverpool one.

Would definitely recommend. Service, atmosphere, excellent. Relaxed setting clean, music set at a good volume, didn’t have to shout to have a conversation. Good delicious.

Very modern interior. Comfortable and clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. A little pricey but loved the ambience. I think this would be a really lovely spot at night time . All on all highly recommended. Edited review - went in again on 9th Dec 2024. Again great service only went in for drinks so no food review, however the biggest disappointment is the seating at the bar ! It’s almost impossible to get near the bar to be served especially when it’s busy. You really have to lean across ppl sat at the bar or try to squeeze in behind them! The seating at the top of the bar , about four seats , is fine but the rest really need to go. They don’t have seating at the browns in Manchester which makes for a much more pleasant experience.

We have been to browns as a mother daughter tradition for Christmas lunch the last 8 years and this year is our last..we said one more shot to get it back up to the usual standards and it feels far short of the Christmas experience you used to get. No Christmas crackers or table decor No cranberry sauce No Christmas pudding Dry hard roast potatoes Bland carrots and parsnips Browns Liverpool what happened?!

Our lunch was lovely and Rachael, who was our server, is extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. Rachael has often served our party when we visit Brown’s and she always makes us feel welcome and very confident when she processes our order. We always feel very comfortable in the restaurant and visit quite often, usually on a monthly basis. Our experience in the restaurant, even at this busy time of year with the pre-Christmas rush, was brilliant! Many thanks xx

Came in today with a big party of us for lunch and was incredibly satisfied with the restaurant, service and food. We were served by Lydia and Clarke who were very helpful and as for the food, it was some of the best we’ve had. Will definitely be returning over the Christmas season!

I was really looking forward to coming to Brown's tonight, the Menu looked great and had a good selection of choice for those needing gluten free. The venue is lovely, very tasteful and the staff very attentive and friendly. Prices I felt a little high, but happy to pay if the food was as lovely as expected. I chose the vegetarian stew which included bread and was also a gluten free option. I decided against a starter but my friends who ordered the goats cheese and beetroot starter, looked lovely and tasted as nice as it looked, bar the bread which was apparently hard and not great My meal arrived but, (not that I'm greedy), on what looked like a starter dish. In fact I queried it with the Server if they'd prepared it as a starter It was also burnt around the edges of the dish and in all honesty there wasn't a great deal there. I imagined a nice hearty soup bowl or similar for a hearty veggie stew..no... It was a saucer sized metal shallow bowl dish with the stew just covering the base of the dish. I'd estimate one rounded ladle of stew with 2 slices of gf bread. Great as a starter, but this was meant to be a main, and at the price being charged, was very disappointing The stew tasted lovely just not enough of it. The bowl wasn't even half full. Such a shame as my friend ordered the Christmas Dinner which looked fabulous and plentiful Lesson learned don't order the stew as you'll leave hungry. My meal.consisted of Btle of water, diet coke and a small portion of veg stew, costing £33.50.....

Have been coming here with a group of friends same time of year for the last 3 years unfortunately won't be returning, service very poor actually had to call waitress over everytime we needed service, starters were OK apart from 3 of us having the GARLIC prawns, which should be renamed as EXTREMELY hot chilli Prawns as it personally was too hot to enjoy! Mains were OK for some , shepherd's pie was said to be lovely but again 3 of us had the prawn and crab linguin! It was unseasoned and had far too much chilli only prawns and non existent crab!!! And why is it green?I have never had it green!! All 3 of us couldn't eat any of it and so had no main course...we had to finally hunt for a waitress to get the bill to which was done twice as our deposit wasn't taken of the first time round...

Came in for an Irish coffee at a inconvenient time and being in hospitality my myself knowing how annoying it is 😂 was welcomed by Jess and Harry two very friendly bar staff that made me the best Irish coffee and made me want to stay for more cocktails and good times. A great place with brilliant staff special thanks to these two.

We attended for an amazing Afternoon tea. A lovely selection of savoury and sweet foods The only downfall was that we were seated and still no food had arrived after 1 hour of waiting. We had drank 2 cocktails each while waiting and when approached staff was informed the chef was having a meltdown!!!! We finally received our food approx 90 minutes after our arrival.

As always Browns in Liverpool never disappoints, we had coffee, nibbles and cocktails. Thank you Lee and the team, you were, and always are amazing😍...also a shout out to the piano player, who made the atmosphere fab. Browns is definitely our 'go to' when we are in Liverpool xx

I took my mum and sister, and the food was awful. Cold and bland, however, the fish and frozen chips were OK.

Another lovely brunch at Browns Liverpool One. Our waiter, Jason, was superb - so friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, although the lobster eggs ‘Benedict’ were still not available. This is the third time we’ve tried for them. Perhaps it’s time to take the lobster off the menu? It didn’t spoil our experience though and will return and would highly recommend ⭐️

Our visit to Brown’s in Liverpool was truly delightful! From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the restaurant’s beautiful ambiance and warm atmosphere. The service was top-notch, and our server, Niamh, made us feel right at home with her friendly and attentive care. The food was absolutely delicious—every bite was a treat. We started with the olives, followed by the beet and feta salad, and savored the perfectly cooked cod. Each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. Brown’s is a gem in Liverpool, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re in town, make sure to put this one on your must-visit list!

Went for Sunday lunch, had roast, waited for 40 mins, beef very poor quality, drinks lovely, very disappointed with food

Really poor experience, I had a burger which looked like it had been mauled, it's like 18 quid so you'd expect it to look half decent. It came out missing bacon, the mayo had been splatted on not spread out, with a single piece of lettuce and tomato. Cheese was melted on half the side of the burger... They brought the bacon out after I complained My wife had crag linguine which was gritty. Thankfully they took 10% off the bill but won't be going back. Service was.slow and the atmosphere was lacking ...

From the moment we were greeted the whole experience was amazing!! Staff are all incredibly helpful and so friendly. The food was lovely and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant was just what we wanted on a Saturday evening 😊 also great vegan options 😀

We were a table of 8 and the food is nothing like it used to be. 2 halves of warmed up potatoes Yorkshire puddings not light and crispy, barely warm. Hamburger just One single one in a bun. Our waiter Gary was excellent but unfortunately the food was not good enough

The classic afternoon tea was quite disappointing. The only drinks you can have are those listed on the menu, which is just tea. My friend doesn't drink hot drinks and we asked if it could be swapped for a soft drink and we were told that wasn't possible, so she had to suffice with tap water and a hot drink that she didn't touch. The menu also states that fruit scones and plain scones are provided. We presumed this meant we each would receive a fruit and plain scone but it was in fact just one fruit scone and one plain scone, so we had to decide who got what out of those. The menu also stated that blackcurrant jam and strawberry jam would be provided but only blackcurrant jam was provided. The menu stated clotted cream would be provided but it was in fact whipped. We had very little service from staff and yet a service charge was included on the bill. When we asked for this to be removed we were asked if everything was okay. We explained our disappointment at the lack of drink choices, items not being provided as written on the menu and items not being accurate. We were simply told 'sorry'. Brown's is a very nice atmospheric venue but the afternoon tea experience was poor and I won't be using Brown's for this experience again unfortunately.

A very comfortable restaurant with friendly staff and good quality food. A bit pricey but worth it for the overall dining experience.

Ate at browns on a Saturday evening at 7pm, we day upstairs and the atmosphere was ok to start with but quickly went quiet until we were almost the only ones there at 8.pm. The service was ok, but I thought the food was over priced. £60 for 2 mains and 2 drinks and quite bland! Very disappointing.

We were served by Natalia in the upstairs area, the food was lovely and our server was very sweet and even sung happy birthday for my friend at the table which I super appreciated! With a cute dessert written out saying happy birthday too ☺️ really really do appreciate this 💗 thank you to the team and also the ladies at reception who got us booked in on short notice
