Pret a Manger in York

Visito este Pret la mayoría de los días para un café. Servicio siempre amable. Gran café. Excelente ubicación. ¡El único inconveniente a veces es que se llena de estudiantes que pasan horas allí aparentemente sin gastar dinero!

I absolutely love Pret A Manger porridge, so if ever I'm staying away, this is my go-to for breakfast. Although the Christmas market was on, so very busy, we still managed to get a table. The server was very polite and efficient. Overall, it was a great experience

Great location just don't agree with students and people sitting in a 4 seat table on their own on their laptops. There's people who genuinely want to come in for a coffee and a sit down and they're hogging the seats !!

I'm at your 33 Parliament St. branch, YORK. I come here twice a week to have a coffee and do my computer work. Unfortunately, every afternoon the heating upstairs is turned off. It gets very cold inside. I would like you to find a solution to this.

Hot chocolate is expensive but delicious and they do not accept student discount

Supposedly hot Sandwiches are cold and very old almost no cheese on a cheese toast, how ironic! Also hard to bite and chew. Disappointed

No he usado un pret durante muchos años dada mi última experiencia con ellos pero, la cola para Costa (opuesto) era vasta La comida caliente era tibia y obviamente había estado en el estante durante horas. Realmente necesitan repensar eso. Probablemente no sea rentable energéticamente, pero bueno. Todo el lugar no estaba muy limpio, pero los baños! Solo uno estaba trabajando y la palabra trabajar se usa muy muy a la ligera La persona anterior a mí había tenido una salida adecuada. La descarga no estaba funcionando y toda la experiencia fue muy mala. Absolutamente no vale la pena el costo Evite hasta que confirmen que han cambiado de manera. Creo que no lo harán Disculpas por el lugar incorrecto en la revisión anterior. Este lugar está en York. Not York Way

The toilets in this stores are absolutely disgusting. There are 2 toilets in the ladies and one has been out of use for a year. If the toilets are this bad what about the kitchen

Fantástica comida fresca, las comidas calientes se revisan regularmente para ver una pequeña pegatina en el paquete para comprobar el tiempo de caducidad, todo hecho en casa. Personal rápido y eficiente y muy limpio. Lástima que no estén en Australia

Very dirty everywhere, table looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day (this was 5pm). Very poor cup of tea and latte milk was burned

Good location in central York. Freshly brewed coffee and well-known snacks.

Dirty tables and absolutely filthy toilets !! Wont be going here again

I have found an insect in my food.

A very handy Pret, close to the main shopping area and the market. Very quick service and a good choice of food and drink. Staff were lovely. Downstairs is relatively small but there’s lots of seating upstairs. That’s also where the toilets are so would be a challenge for anyone with limited mobility. What I did appreciate yesterday when we visited was the free water when I bought a sandwich; I was expecting to have to pay out for a bottle.

Nice place to grab a quick lunch. Food lovely & pleasant surroundings.

Well stocked with nice fresh cold and hot food and drinks. There is plenty of seating available at any time of day. Cleanliness was not an issue at all.

Ham and cheese toastie stuck to bag - making it difficult to eat. Premises look tired/shabby one toilet out of order and the other one , although working, felt dirty

My partner's sandwich from M&S was nicer and cheaper.

This Pret is an absolute disgrace. The toilets were horrendous, I have never seen such dirty disgusting facilities. The servers were also using the same tongues to select the cookies which contained nuts and cookies which didn’t - as an allergy sufferer I would have expected Pret to have learnt their lesson!

Disappointing breakfast toastie, all stuck to bag, and contents of sandwich not very inspiring. Coffee only OK. Friendly server. Doing battle with Deliveroo etc. in smallish reception area. Will try a non-chain next time.

They did not notice before that they were going to be late for 60 mins and after they adjusted their time for delivery it started getting late for me. My service didn’t meet my expectations.

Great service from friendly staff on a very busy day. We had a selection of Thai soups that were outstanding and were exactly what we needed on a chilly day.

Ok - busy i can understand, so miserable staff are pre- Christmas tired. However the coffee was barely above tepid, and the entire place felt grubby. But the state of the toilets was appalling - rotten woodwork and utterly filthy.

Food OK but that's when there is a table to eat from. Sadly I wouldn't recommend visiting here 10am to 2pm as way to busy. Managed to get a full refund which was good of them.

Good quality but missing items from the order. Egg and bacon sandwich, only one with egg. Delivery driver was very friendly.

A really nice selection of sandwiches and salads. Something a little bit different than the usual cheese and ham. Had seating inside and outside, service was quick, staff were friendly. Food was really tasty

Most exspensive can of diet coke in the UK £1.60!!! Tables and floors are filthy tables stained not maintaining standards of cleanliness. Staff very slow at serving customers.

Coffee very good but annoyed when you can't get a table for young people using laptops not even eating or having a drink.

Decent enough coffee. Not a lot of space downstairs and nowhere to leave a stroller to sit upstairs.

Wrong food delivered and took 3.5 hours to arrive.

Food and drink was on time and the latte was hot full to the top and delicious. My Berry muffin was gorgeous. Just wanted to say thanks!!

Very late, food a bit soggy. Brownie bar was missing from order but was paid for 😐

3:00 driver arrived to pick up order from a shop 3 minutes delivery time away from me, didn’t move for a good 10 minutes, than traveled another 10 minutes Northeast (I was 3 minutes South east) to a location 12 minutes away from me and hung out there for a while… then came to my location, which brought him back to the center of town, good for him and bad for me. Then he expected me to go out into the rain to obtain the delivery and I told him that wasn't going to happen, he'd have to at least come into the hotel's front dest area

The delivery driver arrived late, threw our order onto the ground outside of our house, meaning the latte exploded, one of the sandwich bags split open meaning it was completely covered in latte when we tried to get it all inside. The salad in the order was also completely ruined by the matcha latte that was everywhere.

2.5 hours late! When I rang to chase and ask if it was likely to arrive a very rude woman called Daria told me if I wasn't happy that I could cancel, but I would have to wait for a refund. Pret are not the cheapest but I like their ethics and food. If Daria is an example of their service, I will spend my money elsewhere

We have been waiting 3 hours for our delivery. I have contacted pret on multiple occasions and have been told there is nothing they could do. I’ve tried every option on the just eat app to try and troubleshoot where our food is and have had absolutely no luck. This is absolutely the last time we will be using your service and expect a full refund for the order. The entire situation has been absolutely ridiculous.

Friendly service. Convenient location. Wi-Fi is available but extremely slow, it is almost impossible to open any website.

I received the wrong food I’m allergic to mushrooms, and received the mushroom soup I ordered the chicken and broccoli

Was served by a moody unfriendly woman on the counter, who was smiling and laughing with her coworkers but was slow to serve me and rude. I was under the impression you were nice to the customers, not talking to your friends and then mope around when you actually have to do your job. Sat in and saw her do the same thing to every person she served. Embarrassing.

Yet again someone hogging a four table next to the window on their laptop with no drink or food! Broken toilet and no light in the passageway so, stood in the dark waiting for the remaining toilet! Next person entered and used the switch for the light and the cubicle light was turned off! Not acceptable.! Food and coffee very good but, pull your finger out for the other issues please!

I ordered a vegan salad for a friend and a tuna salad for myself and as usual they were delicious. I would definitely recommend both. I also ordered two almost croissants for breakfast the following day, absolutely gorgeous.

I've ordered the vegan mezze twice for a vegan friend but thought I'd try it myself this time as well. It was excellent, very tasty and I'm glad l tried it. Mind you l was naughty as well because l got an almond croissant and a chocolate one, absolutely delicious and I'd definitely recommend.

Id love to be able to rate the food quality but the food didnt even turn up after two attempts of delivery. According to the restaurant the delivery drivers are taking the orders and having the food for themselves whilst recording the food has been delivered. There needs to be more control over who is taking the food to the address and control over the fact that the food is actually getting there

Unfortunately I received the wrong drink which is a shame. I got a hot chocolate instead of a coffee I've been here in person before though and they always get it right and the staff are always friendly. Was just a mistake.

The actual store and food were OK, but the toilets were pretty disgusting. They certainly need an upgrade and a good clean.

Lovely fresh food as always, not been to this particular one before. Everything fresh,tasty sandwich fillings and good choice of everything. Great coffee that isn't bitter. Very clean and efficient.
