Pret A Manger in Tower Hamlets

The staff here are really awful, actually the worst I have encountered from Pret. I ordered a Matcha Latte which usually comes with coconut milk. I was then handed my drink which I was told was a Matcha Latte with a coconut milk sticker on top. However when I got to my office and took a sip realised it was actually a hot chocolate with coconut milk. So I went back to tell them and asked for a replacement drink. The response from the staff was they didn't serve me so its not their fault even though they represent Pret. And to top it off they charged me for another Matcha Latte. Even the other customer asked why its not free since they made a mistake earlier but the staff couldn't care less. Honestly the customer service is just terrible and the staff have an attitude problem. If I went to any other coffee shop with the same issue they would make me a new drink free of charge. So in hindsight I would avoid this place

Total fail. Paid £4 for a coffee with an extra shot. It was weaker than Pret's normal coffee. I only give one chance to a coffee shop, there are plenty to choose from. I know what it's supposed to taste like. Never going here again for any purpose. When will these pathetic outlets learn to do their job and deliver what was paid for?

I walked to the counter where there were two assistants standing - one walked off to 'fix' something, and subsequently asked what was it she needed to do. The other assistant went over to help her. Then two more of their colleagues from the shop floor joined them, whilst I was still trying to pay for my porridge. I was the only one in the shop & I was determined to see how long I would be stood at the counter for! The 2nd assistant walked back to the counter after four mins & still didn't acknowledge me at that point lost it and called out can I pay for this! I can safely say I'll walk past that Prets & buy it somewhere else if I need to!

Worst employees ever seen in my life, so miserable and such a toxic attitude towards clients , literally throwing the products on the counter , no respect, no hygiene as they grab the tissues with their hands instead of leaving them on the top and let the customer take the need , such low quality and the Chinese lady is the most rude person in there , such low standards! This shop should be closed , or change the staff in there !

9:45am - “ran out of ice” How does Pret survive in summer!? How do other companies manage to have a constant flow of ice yet with Pret it’s intermittent. And the fact that this is not the only Pret I’ve tried today. Ridiculous

I really love this Coffee and Tea fast food sandwiches 🥪 fresh orange juice they have everything to have before start your day . X. I enjoy these outlets everywhere in London they have a fantastic outlet… clean and good quality food ….

Atmosphere; not much pick your food pay and leave. Service; ok Food; sandwiches, baguette and rolls are not labeled you can accidentally pick up Item that doesn’t meet your dietary requirements or allergies.

Extremely rude staff who give off the impression they don't care about anything. I understand that nobody particularly wants to deal with customers all day, but it's part of the job.

The only guy who’s on shift on the 12 May at around 1pm is bad. He doesn’t look like he wants to be there. Was extremely slow, you can literally count each steps he took. Also I noticed some wastage too, he poured a single shot into a customer’s drink and realised they wanted strong, so he put the cup just onto one side of the nozzle where it dispense coffee and let the other half gone to waste! The staff will definitely require retraining and supervision as he will not be right for any businesses.

There's a terrible barrister who doesn't know how to make coffee. She's rude and not bothered. Had to reorder my coffee multiple times in the past and it still was terrible. Started avoiding this pret. Mistakenly went there yesterday I got a luke warm milky Americano. Is she serving old coffee?? What is going on?

Disorganised and terrible service, incompetent staff can’t keep track of who ordered first. Do yourself a favour and go to a different place.

We ordered 1 latte with oat milk and a hot chocolate. I asked for it to be extra hot and I just wanted to make sure it’s extra hot so I told her please don’t forget to be super extra hot. She wasn’t happy with me repeating my request, however, she left a note on the screen. But eventually the hot chocolate came not hot as requested and not concentrated at all as chocolate to milk/water ratio. Although I asked the other one who was preparing my hot chocolate to be hot please. Eventually I couldn’t replace it since they were about to close and super busy. But I went there on another occasion almost same problem not hot not saturated. Latte was average

Rudest staff. Don't say hi. Don't ask you to pay they just stand there like idiots and then point at the machine and huff.

Zero start. One of the worst service by Pret,,, very rude and disrespectful person who is working in morning specially who is making coffee,,, today I ask for hot chocolate and cup was hot I asked about cup holder and the arrogant person said I can’t because I have only few,, I can see easily that there is some holders and the thing is customer before me they all got holder and he refused for me,,, I have question I was not begging for holder I paid for coffee 2nd holders for customer so why you refused,,, what you gonna do with holder taking home and enjoy your own coffee,,,,? Very disappointed with service,,,, I would like to give zero start

We went every day for coffee and a cheese panini that was delicious.

Re: The Pret near Waitrose in Canary Wharf Early afternoon/ female staff 2nd September She was very rude and did not even bother to look up from her till when I approached her. She was clearly annoyed and had no patience to listen to my order. Instead, she was grumbling under her breath and rolling her eyes at me. The food was alright, but the poor customer service and rude staff made the overall experience very unpleasant. In a competitive market where there are numerous coffee shops, good customer service is key to retain customers, and Pret A Manger is failing miserably in this department. I would not recommend this place to anyone until the management takes a serious look at their customer service training and implement some drastic change. It's truly unfortunate and unacceptable that one would feel like they're being treated as a criminal, particularly when the whole family are loyal subscribers to Pret. This kind of service is not at all what one would anticipate from a reputable brand like Pret A Manger. It's critical for Pret's management team to be aware of such incidents to ensure they're properly addressed.

I have stopped going here for coffee as they have no system for handing out drinks. It's so annoying when they miss your drink or hand it to someone else. I walk up to Joe Blake's now where things are a bit more civilised.

The staff at this store is lazy. 10/10 times I came here, they will say they have no ice. But on the menu list, there is a list of iced drink where Pret claims to sell. There is also an iced machine right behind the counter but the staff never bother to use it properly. The staff attitude was also awful when I asked for iced drink. Then they just offered me hot drink, which was obviously too hot and the paper cup was too thin to hold the heat. If you have no ice, I'm sure Starbucks can help you. I live and work locally but I'll never come to this pret again.

Staff is friendly, but completely unprofessional. Having to ask again what customers have ordered for 2-3 times and still mess up your order. Burned my tongue with “warm” latte which was boiling hot. Been using this pret for last 3 days and orders always either got forgotten or messed up. Would avoid, there’s better coffee places in Canary Wharf.

Fast service always, but music is so obnoxiously loud that it spoils any dine in experience and even affects take out orders. You will hear it through headphones on full volume. The love of bass heavy music makes the walls vibrate.

I’ve been a Pret customer for many years. Always found it a good price/quality place. I had a croissant yesterday and the drop in quality is tremendous. Used to taste a lot more like butter and was soggy. It’s not really a one off. Prices have gone up a lot and quality has gone down generally across Pret.

The staff were very friendly and the service was quick, we ordered a mocha which i normally like from coasta (even though sometimes even they get it wrong) but I have to it was very nice and my wife do some kind of pastry which I can't remember now but all in all if you need to coffee on the go it's better than Starbucks I'd say

Friendly staff, full menu, delicious smoothies but not all flavours always available. Cafe is often super super busy, but there are other preys within the shopping centre to choose from if that’s an issue. Great choice if you’re getting off the DLR at Canary Wharf and need a quick drink!

Very rude woman with short hair behind the till. Poor service.

Sunday morning and stuff turned on loud banging music... really?

I never really expect any good service or clean place when I go to Prêt but this morning at the Canada place brand the whole service was below all my non-expectation. The lady charged me my coffee with my 2 croissants even if I have the monthly subscription. When I questioned why, she told me in the front of all customers waiting in the queue that it wasn’t working. She was very stressed , rushing and annoyed. I paid ( even if I’m still paying for my subscription) and left.

This map seems to be wrong. There is a veggie pret at unit 1, Canada place, in the canary wharf mall. The Canada place shown near westferry circus does not seem to be there.

everyday I buy my lunch from here and everyday I get the same: posh cheddar & pickle baguette 5 Berry bowl egg & spinach protein bowl and everyday the total comes to just over £8.. something today it was a straight £10 for the same lunch I asked the lady at the counter why is it £10 and she said because these things come to a total of £10. I said well I buy every day and it is a little over £8 but she said nope sorry its £10. And that was and will be the last time I go there. thanks for the lunch for the past and all the best.

Great food, as always with Prêt. This one is very busy tough.

Dreadful service received after ordering via Deliveroo. 2x missing items, plus a random item.. Had the audacity to add original items to my receipt. Inefficient and lazy. It is common courtesy to inform customers if items are unavailable.

So many pret in the wharf but this is the only which offers the iced drinks

Forget about your diet. Just eat the dark chocolate cookies for the rest of your life… you’ll die happy.

When Irish Eyes are Smiling. The hot chocolate drinks at Pret a Manger are delicious and chocolaty and, on a cold day such as today, just what the doctor ordered to chase away the chills. Thank you to Sarah from Ireland for adding to the flavour of the hot chocolate by serving us in such a friendly and cheerful manner which further helped to chase away our depressing Covid blues. It’s so uplifting to come across young people with such a positive and uplifting attitude. Bravo Sarah and a big THANK YOU.

I am going give this veggie pret a one star because the manager there is very rude he clearly doesn't know how speak to people. All asked for was some whipped cream on my hot chocolate but instead he shouts at me and gets rude with me on why I didn't ask for whipped cream on my hot chocolate before my order even though I did. And the shop wasn't even busy it was very quite. This manager at this veggie pret clearly has very bad customer service skills. I to have a job communicating with customers and I don't shout at my customers when ask me something even when I am busy. I won't be coming back to this veggie pret again. I am better going other pret a manager in Canary wharf where the staff are much more polite to their customers.

Such a good spread - from the veggie enchiladas to the vegan mac and greens to the salads and hot wraps, every recipe is well thought out and tastes incredible - really a veggie / vegan heaven! Even with the option of working from home I make it a point to come in to work in the Wharf just so I can pick up lunch here. Must try, even for non-veggie/vegans!

why say open until 6 when you close at 5:30pm?

Even one star is too much for the customer service provided here. For a very long time(I am talking about few months) I've had to explain to staff that I prefer cappuccino with coconut milk and I a not interested in the froth. They have always managed to pull faces and mouthed things but eventually did it. As a paying customer, I do think it is more important for my preference to be met and so u will leave with a smile on my face and pleasure to come back. Not here though, the manager is one of the most unpleasant staff in there. Shame for the brand as it is really not enjoyable to walk through those doors

It’s OK, interior is a little different from regular Prets. Staff is friendly; food is all vegetarian or vegan. Plenty of regular Pret nearby if you’re looking for more options.

Great food and good coffee - as you would expect to receive from a Pret A Manger. Service is quick and efficient and even during busy periods you are not left waiting for long. The sandwiches in particular are tasty and fresh.

Had a warm wrap which was lovely and the staff was very friendly and attentive.

Standard pret, great quality food. The staff weren't too welcoming though.

Good spot to grab a quick sandwich or soup at lunchtime. Increasing range of Vegetarian and vegan options have recently been introduced.

Seems to be getting very boring food wise. Never any boiled egg dishes

Had the worst experience at pret this morning . One of their workers called Pearse was shouting at a customer and belittling her . And not one member of the staff put a Stop to her . Everytime I have been to pret at Westferry and pearse is working he is constantly making snide remarks about customers ! Unbelievable ! Maybe it’s because of his hair colour he’s always so angry . What’s pret going to do about pearse???

Macaroni cheese lasagne is amazing. Just place but fast service.

It's nice how they remember what each local office worker prefers to drink. But be careful at busy times, when they sometimes line up shots in paper cups ready to make your coffee with.

I like the products and everything always so delicious but in some occasions the few members of the staff was not very nice particularly in this Pret...

In any of the chain's locations you can try the cheese or melted tuna sandwiches...they are delicious...the products offered are of good quality, usually organic without additives or preservatives...it is worth it

My favorite Pret in Canary Wharf. Compare to other ones, this one seems to be more quiet, with plenty of sitting space. Maybe the stock is bit limited , but it's definitely worth it. Get's busy in lunch time, but you always can get a seat, and waiting time is not too long. Staff is pretty friendly as well.

Just love the staff here, so friendly and open late on my way home most days for a quick tea.

Usual selection of coffee, sandwiches and fruits salads for breakfast and a quick lunch on the go. Service in this particular branch of Pret is particularly good.
