Pret A Manger in Tower Hamlets

Advertised rates are not what you pay if you want to sit down - the salad in my sandwich was limp, the customer service was interesting - I asked for a receipt and got told ‘you should ask for one as soon as I open the till not later’ - it was as he shut the till. Then the coffee arrived and I wasn’t warm and the barrister did not like making another one - for this price I wouldn’t bother

I never really expect any good service or clean place when I go to Prêt but this morning at the Canada place brand the whole service was below all my non-expectation. The lady charged me my coffee with my 2 croissants even if I have the monthly subscription. When I questioned why, she told me in the front of all customers waiting in the queue that it wasn’t working. She was very stressed , rushing and annoyed. I paid ( even if I’m still paying for my subscription) and left.

A nice, bright and friendly place to grab something for an easy breakfast The coffee was good and the selection of sandwiches etc on offer was plentiful and fresh. The prices are reasonable (£2.10 for a white americano coffee) so it is no surprise that this Pret is popular and therefore busy most of the time.

This is my go-to place for take-away lunch. I always get one of the protein boxes and am always happy. Service is fast and food always fresh. Good value for money compared to other choices in Canary Wharf.

Service is friendly and efficient. Food is reliable and sensibly priced. Overall, a steady performer.

Cant fault them - nice coffee, and lovely lady offered to take my Vitality freebie without me even asking (I've stopped - every other bugger seems to not take them any more). Also, very near to my work which is admittedly a quite specific plus but...

You can always manage to find a Prets when you want one and this one was a most welcome sight to see while walking around Canary Wharf with the huge range of eateries on offer when all one wants is humble egg mayonnaise, lovely.

...than a tomato and cheese croissant for breakfast from Pret? No. No there is not. I also had the brie sandwich for lunch, and as always, the roll was perfect and the cheese was lovely.

Pretty convoluted thinking on my part but Pret is very good indeed, and this was an average Pret. Good coffee and pretzels, excellent sandwiches. Thank you Pret.

A good selection of sandwiches at a sensible (for Canary Wharf!) price. I buy lunch from here most days and it is of consistently of good quality.

Whenever I visit London, I will always have at least one of Pret sandwich. Found Pret's sandwiches are fresh and delicious with so many healthy choices. my favorite is "club sandwich". Prets' are also easy to spot almost everywhere in London and at the airports. Keep up with good work! :-)

I became a big fan of Pret while in London. The food was good (healthier, tasty, and not greasy) and always consistent.The prices are reasonable and the staff was good. Even if the lines were long, they got you in and out quickly.

We collected a business lunch at the Pret a Manger on Canada Square foodcourt, the checkout was very fast, the lady very friendly. The food was average, maybe with the exception of the soup which was quite succulent and rich.

Good selection for lunch of salads and sandwiches. Polite and helpful staff and extremely quick service when you are in a rush.

Just had my daily tuna mayo on one of the best baguettes I have ever eaten. Love the bread here. Also, the veggie crisps are to die for.

Really quick service and a fantastic location to stop off while sightseeing in the area. Bit on the expensive side compared to other coffee shops however a good place to grab a coffee or a small bite to eat

Stopped off for some sandwiches for lunch (take away). Firstly everything lovely and fresh. We took a few different sandwiches and they were all tasty. Only thing that bothered me was there were onions on my humous wrap, I hate onions and it didn't say there were onions! Took them off but it bothers me to have hidden ingredients! Otherwise good value for money!

Fast food with lots of variety, high turn around to serve the hungry of those working in Canary Wharf. Staff are friendly and always with a smile on their faces.

Costumer service is always impeccable. Good coffee and chai latte. You can find a Pret wherever you want, quick snacks, everything tastes like homemade. Nice place to sit and read a book while having a hot chocolate.

Average as it was soup take away with some soft drink and crisps...definitely not to die for but helps for a quick break!

Se ao passear em Londres estiver com pressa e uma graninha curta, vá ao Pret a manger. Sanduíches quentes e frios, cafés e sucos feitos sem conservantes. Não é nenhuma alta gastronomia, mas é muito conveniente para um dia corrido de passeio, onde tudo o que se quer é forrar o estômago com comida saudável e acessível.

staff have become rude and arrogant, more interested in chatting than serving customers. Sandwiches are the same all the time, they really need to up their game as Paul is opposite and offers better food.

Really love the soup and the avocado wraps. I wish they made the soup more often. We first had it in paris and was pleased to find it over here. But they make it only Mondays :(

Pret a manger is a great place where have a quick lunch.The service was fast and friendly.I took with a colleague, two salades, two sandwiches and two drinks. We paid around 20£. Good value.

Coffe good. Staff move fast and are friendly. I liked the way they accommodated mothers with children by bringing the coffee to them. Nice to see great customer service

Pret is one of my fav destinations while in London. There are several outlets all over London. The one at Canary Wharf is below the station and serves good hot food or cold as well through the day.

Fresh sandwiches and baguettes, reasonable prices and quick service... Variety is much better than it is at most other places.

They always have the boiled eggs and honey Greek yogurt on display which are my favorite daily items to grab and go . They are fast and efficient on the tills. However they are quite expensive compared to other places and for the size of the meal it is a bit more

I visit Pret at least once a day, 5 days a week for as long as they have been in London. The best coffee around in my opinion. After 10 (I'm guessing) years since they started to appear in London the food changes very little, it's still very good if you want a good fresh sandwich.
