Pret a Manger in Tower Hamlets

Today I bought a latte to go. The coffee was made in a few seconds. It was just disgustingly bitter. I thought I was drinking an aspirin tablet dissolved in milk. It was disgusting.

Great place for a quick breakfast. Tasty porridge. Take Away is cheaper than eating on site Please note that not everything is available just after opening time.

POOR SERVICE. I ASKE FOR TOILET. STAFF SAID YOU NEED TO BUY SOMETHING TONGET CODE. AFTER PURCHASE FOOD , ONE OF THE STAFF SAID ITS BLOCKED YOU CAN NOT USE.. SUCH A SHAME AND RIDICULOUS BUSINESS STRATEGY 😒

Really friendly hardworking staff who were consistent with every customer. Spotless and tables cleared promptly even during busy lunchtime. No standing about chatting or on phones - it was the stand out feature of my visit today. Great teamwork. Wish it was my local.

Pret A Manger is a solid choice for a quick bite on the go. Their sandwiches, wraps and salads are fresh and tasty, with a good variety of options. Coffee is decent too, although a bit pricey. Great fast service, the only issue is that this pret desperately needs a security guard on the door. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen homeless/ crazy people walk in there and scream, abuse the staff, or steal things. The poor staff don’t deserve to be treated like that.

I have popped in here a few times for a quick coffee or to meet with a colleague. Normally always somewhere to sit, swift service and with a smile 😊. Makes all the difference.

Like most Prets the queue moves fast and your order is ready soon. Also like most coffee shops, you sometimes get the most amazing drink and other times something not really worth drinking. It's hit or miss but mostly a hit with the drinks. Plenty of seating most of the time.

So spacious and not cramped like some coffee shops. Useful location 2 doors from Aldgate East tube station. Great meeting up place when working odd days in Whitechapel.

Very busy Pret but plenty of seating and generally clean and tidy. I had a decaf coconut latte and a tuna baguette. I needed to join a Teams call and the WiFi was good. There are a few toilets which is handy and all clean.

Amazing customer service in this shop. All of the staff on the tills are so friendly. The barista is so quick and makes tasty coffee. The management are also spectacular and are more than happy to help. An amazing cafe and highly recommended

The staff are great! There could be a bit more seating. Considering the hectic area , and some of the crazy people that they deal with, the staff do very well, although some can be too loud - I can hear some of their personal conversations from my table on the other side of the cafe. Specifically, the big guy with the glasses and long hair. He is great at his job, but he is constantly shouting which can get annoying . The issue with Pret (all prets) is their choice of music, everyone who is seated is either there to talk, read, work or relax, and instead of playing cafe/French style music, they blast bubblegum pop music that my 14 year old niece listens to - it makes me feel like I’m at her sweet sixteenth birthday party. I don’t get it, everyone is trying to block it out and it ruins the atmosphere

The staff at this location do a remarkable job of not preparing what you order. They also like to close 90 minutes before they're supposed to, and enjoy making hot drinks when you order iced ones as it's less effort.

Toilets seem to be broken all the time and dirty. Even in the morning.

Lovely location, always busy but you barely wait a minute for your drink. There are plenty of places to sit down but I’m not sure about charging stations. The only complaint is the main set of bathrooms being out of service so there’s one toilet in the whole place so that queue can get crazy. Overall a really great location of this chain.

The toilet isn't working almost 2 months now. IT IS WITH MOST PRETS NOW As your staff said, it's to prevent homeless people getting in (info given to me 2 weeks ago). So what? They're humans too!!! Paying customers can't even have a pee. Shame on all of you!!! I spoke to your online customer services 3x now. Every time same reply, we will inform manager and we cannot say when it can get fixed. Your staff members cannot even get a story straight, why the toilet isn't working. One says broken this, other says broken that. Update 5th June 2023: toilet is still not working.

Walked in about 3pm. Quite a warm day. One geezer in front of me taking his sweet time. As I've got a subbie , I've already my cappachocho, tea and chai latte (did I pronuncie that right) for the day, so I thought I would go for one of the new coolers. Feeling Peachy please. The lady gave me a strange look. I didn't name it, you guys did. Didn't take long. Very sweet but refreshing. Would I cooler here again? Yes.

The coffee was not tasty at all. The WC didn't work. The sandwich was more or less fine.

Fairly large pret location with good service. Coffee was very good but pastry was slightly undercooked.

I try to avoid going in here. The servers never listen to the order, it's always wrong and my coffee is always forgotten. I always have to ask where it is after 10 mins of waiting and many other people being served who came after me. I'm so close to cancelling the pret subscription as I waste so much time in this one pret.

Pret a Manger are literally everywhere in London. They are very popular and often busy. I would stop by various locations for a sandwich until I realized that M&S, Tesco, had exactly the same thing and often at a lower price.

Tolle Auswahl an Wraps, Sandwiches und Baguettes. Preis-Leistung ist absolut in Ordnung. Der Kaffee schmeckt sehr gut! Wenn man für vor Ort bestellt, ist es teurer als ToGo, obwohl man dennoch den Kaffee in Pappbechern bekommt. Die Toiletten sind dauerhaft außer Betrieb.

Went into pret hoping for a sandwich and left covered in tomato soup!! A man picked up tomato soup by the lid instead of the container as it was too hot to hold and the lid wasn’t on properly resulting in the hot container slipping out of the lid, bouncing on the floor and all over me and two others!! It scolded my hand, went all over my jeans, went in my hair, on my cardigan, on my coat and now my white shoes are stained!! Very upset and could have been avoided if the containers weren’t hot to touch and the lids were on properly :(

Ptet can be pricy as compared to other cafes. But the sweets do look dekectable. It is a good place to go to meet a mate and drink coffee or tea while chatting.

Clean place, delicious food and coffee and on top of that very friendly staff. Update: I’ve just had a terrible experience with the manager shouting today for no reason. It might be a cultural thing for some people to talk loud and sound aggressive but I don’t think this is professional at all.

I was starting to lose hope on Pret after a couple of lower than average encounters in other branches, but the guys here are crushing it and they're genuinely just nice and happy to help. Both the cashier ( glasses, long ish hair and a batman tattoo on elbow )and the barista ( skinny with glasses ) welcomed me with a smile and made me feel at ease. Of course it must be different during peak time but it made my experience very enjoyable

Comfy seats and a good stop for coffee and a rest. Their filter coffee is good and if ask for a dash of milk that's what you get.

I used to be a lover of Pret back in the old days. Long time since I've been to a branch and this was quite a let down. It was a hot day and i was surprised that they don't do iced coffees? The food was yummy, but quite pricey and i thought the toilets were pretty atrocious. Overall i disappointing experience. My friends thought the same.

Even 25 years after I first tried Pret a Manger I still like it very much. Always fresh, delicious and convenient. The teenage boys also liked it.

They offer the coffe suscriptiom but the cold frapuccinos are never available I went to three different stores and they always say the machine isn't working

Toilets are filthy. I am afraid to touch anything as the loo roll is on the floor, there are stains and splashes everywhere, it stinks and there are flies. Wifi is almost unusable too

Typical Pret, good baristas and friendly staff, one old lady serving there is so nice and welcoming, plenty of spaces available but it gets busy during rush hours, this branche stay open late unlike another branch in the area, they don’t serve cold drinks, unfortunately !

Went today to get something to eat and found the attitude towards costumer service unpleasant one. I did get a a mini baguette and did ask to be heated the answer was a straight NO with no explanation nothing. This is not the way to sale your products, ok understanding is company policy or any other reason but as long you have products that you do heat/ toast I don't see why the product I bought cloud not be heat up but all this is I am assuming. I have been before and was a good experience but today very disappointing day so never again. There are other places that can offer a much better service.

Nice staff but it would be more economical and less frustrating if: - They had a waiting area to stand once you've ordered your coffee. Currently people stand everywhere and anywhere so there's always that dreaded British moment where you're queuing and actually people have already ordered and just float around, without realising they're in the queue. Would be interesting to try to paint a small area on the floor and let people stand there whilst they're waiting. - They numbered or initialed each order. So when two people ordered the same thing, you save the embarrassment of working out who ordered first, when going to collect your order.

I got my coffee yesterday and was quite disappointed; Coffee was prepared very very fast which was suspicious and then when I tasted it omg. It tasted like dirty water !! Like not effort has been put to prepare it !! I had to leave it and go somewhere better to get my day started !!

Usually the staff is good but today one of the senior staff had the audacity to ignore ne and call the next customer behind me and took his order. Illiterate and poor custoemr service!!!! I myself work as a barista. Disappointed

Whenever I need to grab quick food I go to pret. Everything is so fresh and workers are helpful and nice
