Canterbury - sausage in the cheese toastie (not great for a vegetarian with a meat product intolerance). Worse still however was being told “I don’t know how that could have happened” instead of “I’m really sorry, you have our apologies, how can we put this right?” I guess this company is not really bothered with training and ensuring attention to detail. Astonishing given Pret’s recent problems with food labelling. Best avoided.

I wanted to take the time to outline the very good I received today from Harry and Theo. Despite being left alone to handle dozens of customers and a very crowded shop, they made everyone feel welcome with their smiles, laughs and jokes. Everyone was having a good time and queueing up to get a time to talk with them, it seemed. There was such a good ambiance in the shop, it really changes from the usual days in pret! Thank you again for keeping your stress for yourself and being professional and welcoming.

Called into this Pret for a coffee and to use the toilet with elderly relative. After ordering found out all their toilets were out of order. The least they could have done was put a sign on the door. We then had to hunt for another toilet which wasn’t easy in the circumstances. Felt very let down.

Ormai da diversi anni sparsi in ogni angolo della città, offrono una corretta pausa ristorativa. Trovo sempre ottimi i loro tramezzini al salmone. Non servono alcolici e i prezzi per Londra sono estremamente convenienti. Questo di Trafalgar Square, piccolo ma con facile possibilità di trovare un tavolo libero, è un ottimo riferimento per darsi appuntamento magari prima (o anche dopo) della visita alla National Gallery.

La mujer que sirve con eczema severo no es por eso que me quejo. La larga espera mientras ella hacía una comida explicando cómo pagarle al tipo que estaba frente a mí no es por qué me quejo. No, la razón por la que me quejo es el "tipo genial" tatuado extravagantemente, que a regañadientes decidió servir a los clientes, responsables de servir algo a medio camino entre un blanco plano y un Machiatto. Es difícil saber si eso se debe a la ignorancia, la idiotez o la indiferencia. Mejor evitar en cualquier caso!

Pret sell the best soup and their birchers are delicious. Come to think of it their coffee is pretty good too!

I’ve always found this cafe a good place to meet a friend.....chatting over a coffee and a cake or sandwich...(their pain au raisin is the best in London). It’s central to the tube and many theatres and cinemas. The serving staff are so friendly and helpful....in fact on my visit this week, I’d ordered my coffee and paid for it...and then decided to have my favourite cake. When the charming girl served it to me, she said ‘on the house’ Of course I’ll be returning!!!

I popped in after a visit to The National Gallery and enjoyed a nice coffee and chocolate croissant whilst waiting for the rain to subside. Comfortable seating with a nice buzzy atmosphere on Saturday afternoon.

Lunchtime and seats available! Not much left in the way of selection but I always have the same thing anyway. Nice staff.

This is a pleasant stop for some fast, light and quite tasty food. This chain does a good job of keeping up quality.

A great stop for visitors to London for a quick bite. Ate their porridge every day for breakfast. Learned that no one puts cream in their coffee here!

Aunque había estado cayendo en Pr t a Manger por 99 botellas de agua, en realidad no había comido nada hasta que me fui de la Galería Nacional después de un período de tres horas de contemplar (y fotografiar) obras maestras.

Nos costó encontrar un sitio saludable en el que desayunar por las mañanas. En Pret a Manger puedes encontrar bollería, pero también un montón de bocadillos calientes, sandwich veganos, yogures, fruta, tés, cafés, puddin, gachas...La mejor opción para desayunar sano y a buen precio.

Food really good as in any Pret a Manger but the toilets were utterly disgusting. There is a code for customers use only so I can't imagine who is getting in but I have never been so disgusted in my life. There were things strewn on the floor that should have been in the specially placed bin (which was over flowing). I was embarrassed that tourists had to witness this. Why aren't they checked regularly? Must be a health risk!

I had low expectations given this is a "grab and go" restaurant, but the cappucino was very good and the croissants were beyond fresh and flavourful. Definitely worth popping into when you are on the go and want good food fast.

Everything here is fresh and prepared on the premisies. The prices are reasonable and you can pick up some snacks to take back to your hote.

Missed out on a pre-theatre restaurant dinner as we left it late, so chose P à M instead. Still reasonable choice and service was excellent.

Pret a manger è un'ottima soluzione per pranzi veloci da consumare comodamente seduti al tavolo o da portare via. Potrete sbizzarrirvi. Insalate, sandwich, panini di tutti i tipi, zuppe calde, dolcetti, wrap ripieni di verdure.. etc. Io personalmente ho provato sia i tramezzini integrali con uovo e verdure, che il wrap con l'avocado e due tipi di zuppe, alle carote e curry e ai broccoli e pollo. Consigliato!

Nel caos di una Londra movimentata, vi potete sedere anche mezz'ora per mangiare in pace, in un ristorante della catena Pret a Manger. Semplice, sparteno nell'arredamento, ma molto pulito e ben servito da giovani camerieri svegli e veloci (spesso italiani). Consiglio le minestre (ogni piatto ha una sua particolarità (aglio, spezie orientali, ecc.) ed i vari gusti accattivano il degustatore, soprattutto gli europei....

dreadful coffee, no flavour, even the miserable muffins were tasteless, tables too tight together, no ambiance, staff unable to understand basic english, Will not recommend this place to any tourist, they will be disappointed, big time!

We visited after a concert at the nearby St Martin in the Fields Church, but whilst the company was good the drinks were only so-so. Hot chocolate should be hot, and chocolatey. These were just about lukewarm - and much of the chocolate was congealed in the bottom of the cups.

If you are hungry and in hurry as a traveler you need to get here to grab a good non expensive sandwich of your choice with out burning s hole in your pocket . During our first full day in London, we popped in here for lunch in the midst of our sightseeing. We both got a banana, water, and classic super club sandwich. The prices are good, and the food is delicious. Sadly, some of the staff weren't very polite. There also isn't much seating, not even outside.

I use Pret a lot.This branch in T Square is oarticularly good. It's really big inside and also has a large outside area with NO SMOKING ALLOWED which is excellent.It is well staffed and well run. The staff are all over it with regards to keeping the queue moving and short. Plenty of places to see and good views. I'd comment on the food/drink but Pret is Pret......awesome food and drink in every branch.

I called here for a coffee and sandwich and to escape a heavy shower of rain. Others had the same idea, but tables were arranged well to maximise seating, also high stools around the windows. I had my favourite Prete sandwich: crayfish and rocket. Have not seen this anywhere else. The toilet was 'out of order' and no public toilets nearby that I could see. Always wonder if the notice is put on to stop non-customers using the facilities.

Visited after a couple of theatre shows, sandwiches fresh and coffee tasty and hotplus always offered a bag which helped as we took the sandwiches/coffee back to the hotel.Plenty of Pret a Manger throughout the centre of London and personally think they are good value

I really liked this place! The prices are good (considering London as an expensive city) and food is tasty.You can buy it ready to go or to eat at the place.Team was really polite and funny, I recommend this specifically store due to the attendance of the waiters.5 stars!

Sandwiches are always fresh, coffee is good and other food eg porridge, wraps etc are also good. What always shocks me is the price difference between takeaway and eat in. It's not even as if you get a plate and a proper mug. You are still eating stuff out of the packets with plastic cutlery and drinking from a cardboard cup. A crayfish and rocket sandwich: £4.45, chocolate croissant £1.60 and flat white £2.35; total £8.40p. Staff cleared the outside tables regularly but there were still paper napkins blowing about. Tables inside needed more attention.

When you go to London, its hard to not walk more than 5 minutes without passing a Pret a Manger- this is even more dominant when you are in the heart of London. In fact, around trafalgar square, I believe there are four. This branch seems to be one of the most popular and busy branches, which blends together healthy but fast food and therefore easily serves the needs of Londoners and tourists on the move. Pret seems to be one of the best fast food sandwich chains, with an immense variety and forever evolving menu of sandwich (hot and cold), hot dishes, soups, salads, fruit and savoury snacks, pastries, bottle smoothies and hot drinks. They are all made fresh and genuinely, the taste and variety is impressive. It is all made fresh on the day. I have been able to always find a few options here as a vegetarian.The place is busy throughout the day and the staff are very efficient and effective at managing the flow of visitors. I wouldn't say there is a huge amount of seating for the number of customers, so ideally, expect to take away rather than eat in. I can't remember seeing a toilet of wifi access- but public toilets can be found nearby. Prices are average for London, with a sandwich costing £4.If you are on the move and want to pick up a nice lunch or breakfast, you can guarantee a good variety of tasty options here.

this was our go to grab-'n-go meal. We had chicken pesto toasties, cauliflower Mac n cheese, Swedish meatball flatbread sandwiches, croissants, wonderful coffee and don't forget the fresh juices! yum!

Love this place - fab location, coffee and chairs and windows with a view to the national portrait gallery and, peer to the left, Trafalgar Square. My favourite haunt for breakfast in the city. Oh and did I mention Porridge???!! The best Porridge! Certainly unless you're willing to travel 200 yards to the other side of the square where you'll find another Pret A Manger serving much the same. Yumminess in a pot.

Plenty of organic salads and hot soup for lunch. Very good organic coffee. Being near St. Martins, the place was crowded. We went here because the Crypt was also so full. St Martins have a youth string ensemble playing for free at 1 pm.

Like most of the coffee shops in London, when you ask gor a capuchino Latte they dont know what you want, a capuchino or a lattte. Its silly. Although service and snacks are average, the coffee finally, tastes good

My favourite Pret a manger is the one near the Garrick theatre. In fact it`s got a good atmosphere , you can read the newspaper while having a nice cup of tea and above all the quality is good and not expensive at all

Con questo credo di aver recensito parecchi locali di questa catena dove noi andiamo sempre, quando si trova posto,all'ora di pranzo durante i nostri frequenti viaggi a Londra. Specialmente in questo quartiere così centrale e turistico ce ne sono ad ogni angolo di strada. Qui, contrariamente al solito, abbiamo preso, oltre il solito tramezzino (ma ogni volta con ripieni diversi!), anche la soup del giorno, di lenticchie, molto saporita, gustosa e......calda, ne avevamo bisogno, vista la temperatura. Sempre uno standard di qualità alto, per una catena.

Ho pranzato diverse volte in questa catena di ristoranti fast food. Sono di buona qualità rispetto ai burgers. Si trovano : insalate fresche, pasta, panini, sandwiches, toast e delle buone zuppe di legumi e verdure. Non male il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Pret a Manger is a coffee and fast food shop but it isn't a typical fast food shop. You can find healthy food (because it is all bio) like salads, fruit salads, sandwiches, and different kinds of juices... and obviously, a lot of different types of coffees. The service is efficient, fast and friendly. But if you want to sit inside, there is not service at the table, it's a self service. Also the place is always clean and bright. Besides the atmosphere is awesome. It has a few disadvantages, for example: sometimes It's full of people and you have to wait a lot to pay, It's a little bit expensive but the quality is high. Wherever you are in London you can chose one!!

Vi muitas recomendações desta rede de lanchonete, mas não curti muito. Fomos apenas uma vez. Um esquema parecido com Starbucks, tem frutas, croissants, cafés, mas na unidade que fomos (próximo ao Trafalgar Square) o wi-fi estava péssimo.

This cafe made me to leave a review for the first time since I have used this app. An old man(seems like a manager here for sure) took my order, and I tried to pay with cash. Since I'm not familiar with paying with pounds, I gave him a dime instead of 50 cents accidentally. And then he said "What is this?" with pointing the coins, quite rudely. Is it really hard to say "Excuse me, you gave me a dime, not fifty cents." instead of "What is this"? Is it too long to say it? I even tried to be very nice when I ordered a coffee BECAUSE I know it is quite stressful to work under busy environment since I have worked in a coffee shop for a long time. But now he just made my day. One funny thing is he was very nice to Caucasian customers, which is not me.

This is a busy Pret almost next to St Martin's in the Fields church in Trafalgar Square. The drinks and food are very good and the staff are on the ball and helpful - they are very busy, and seats are at a premium, although there are additional seats outside - English weather permitting. I was at the nearby London Coliseum to see an opera and the theatre patrons all poured in here!

You know where you are with Pretty. Love the club sandwich or egg mayo. Always fresh and tasty. Good drinks and pastries. Never had a problem.

Pret a Manger is definitely one of my favourite chains!!! I just love the food here, it's fresh, reasonably priced and it's delicious!!! What do you want to ask for more? Well actually you can, they give away their unsold food of the day to charity and homeless people!I do recommend the Italian prosciutto sandwich and the elderflower drink! I also recently tried their sushi and their were good!

Dont like the food served neither the quality of it. The tomatoe of my Pret was frozen, There was very little cheese and the salad was not as expected. It is better to have something to have lunch in EAT.

I think everybody knows what Pret is like but this one is superbly locted, with seating outside as well as inside. And with coffee at 99p per cup you won't find better value in a tourist hot spot!

Non ho mai esitazioni e quando si deve fare un pasto veloce o acquistare un sandwich per asporto se trovo sulla mia strada un locale di questa catena sono sicura di non rimanere delusa. La selezione del menu offre cibi freschi e genuini per tutti i gusti e le zuppe sono sempre abbondanti e abuon prezzo . Il locale è sulla strada proprio fronte Trafalgar Square e dalle vetrine ma soprattutto dai tavolini esterni che abbiamo occupato noi, si gode un ottimo panorama sulla piazza e sulla Nelson Column come si vede nelle foto che allego

Mitnehmen ist billiger, als dort zu essen. Also vorher in der Gruppe klären, wie es ablaufen soll.

For a city living on the fast-track like London, a decent cafe like Pret is an essential. The service is always fast and the food never disappoints - and if you can't find any space, there's guaranteed to be another one just round the corner.However if you're looking to have more of a lazy meal or a catch-up with friends, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Quite a large branch of Pret which serves good sandwiches and coffee. You can nearly always find a seat no matter how busy it appears. We often use it for a pre-theatre snack if we don't want a full meal or are eating afterwards.

getting into charing cross station which was crowded we wanted to have some tea and found Pret a manger.we had to quque but there were 3 servers and we got tea and toast very quickly.there were lots of tables and chairs and bar stools.very clean,very friendly and lots of space to see the crowds and traffic around Trafalgar square

If you love pet, you'll love this. great friendly staff who whistle you through quickly. And on a nice day, you can sit outside and admire Edith Cavell or Nelson depending on your politics.

Went to Wilton Street in Victoria my regular branch with my dog. Bought coffee and cake as usual asked to sit in. I have done this for 2 years in the same branch. Staff gave a cup of water for my dog as usual. After 10 minutes manager came over furious and asked me to leave as no dogs allowed. I explained that my dog and I have been coming to the particular branch for two years. I was called a liar in front of other customers. Humiliated and made to leave. However customers who heard the managers rant and vulgar behaviour towards me were very sympathetic and appalled at how I was treated. Don't go there. Young boy on power trip. I paid for coffee not to be insulted.

I really came to appreciate Pret-A-Manger while on my trip to London. They supply an outstanding selection of ready to eat food. You can get a nutritious meal, a drink, and a dessert for a reasonable price. It's was inexpensive enough to buy my traveling partner, who had run low on funds, lunch. This location has an outdoor seating area, with park benches close by if no tables are available.

Pret a Manger is my favorite fast food chain in London; in fact, I never choose anything else as an option. The food is ALWAYS the freshest, the most varied ( for vegetarians) and at an excellent price. At the end of the day, whatever is left over goes to charity. Any better option than this? I don't think so. (And there are endless numbers of places around the city).

Pret is good anywhere. The food is fresh. Good selection of sandwiches, with or without bread. Vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian. Salads, yoghurts, pretzels, fruit drinks. All good quality.

Comimos varias veces en esta cadena de locales donde se come muy bien y con precios normales. El sistema es auto servicio, puedes elegir, ensaladas, panes rellenos, frutas, tortas, bebidas, luego pasas por la caja donde te ofrecen una boñsita para que te lleves lo que compraste o puedes consumir en el local. Tiene wifi free. Muy recomendable!!!

Arrived into London off an early morning train and headed straight to the National Portrait Gallery which didn't open till 10 am. As we needed to eat we decided to use Pret which is opposite the gallery. Staff friendly and the shop was very clean. Served our needs and would definitely use again. I also love Prets ethos.
