Prestwich Balti in Bury

Normally love this place , but tonight meat in kebabs and biryani is large chunks and chewy, not usually l like this, what’s happened

I have been a customer here for many years, i rang for my usual order set meal for 3 , The chap on the phone was curt and rude “ give me postcode “ When i tried to pay with my card he retorted “very busy cash only “! I have paid with my card many times ! And why would Paneer be £3 more expensive than lamb or chicken . I wanted a delivery because we didn’t want to travel as we had had a drink, We now have to walk to the cash machine which rather defeats the object of having it delivered. I am seriously considering looking for an alternative indian takeaway as i cannot bear bad manners !

Had a patia .. super flavour.. fluffy naan.. crispy poppadoms.. its 9 am and I'm already looking forward to eating the leftovers!!

First time trying Prestwich Balti and the curries were perfect! This will definitely be a new regular

The food was ok but the unprofessional way of having missing items was off putting being a first time customer. Missing was onion and mango chutney. When I rang them he just kept repeating himself that the chutney is in the side of the bag. When I said it’s not in plastic or paper bag. He repeated side of the bag. Then went on to tell me he will send them next time. Am I just supppse to eat four plain poppadums this time or save them for next time. Over £5 spent for missing or wasted food as who eats dry poppadums. With no talk of reimbursement. Daylight robbery! Seriously think I will order a next time?! Ive just moved to the area and love a biryani so you’ve just lost what could of been a good customer

Just order £30 worth if food from them for delivery. Wrong sauces for poppadoms (so they were just dry). Everything full of salt. Idea of salad being a few leafs of lettuce. Never again. Most if the food is in the bin

Have driven by this takeaway for 30yrs and have been served, unknowingly, several lockdown takeaways that my kids have had delivered by the major delivery apps (no problems to report). Left to order online myself, I found that the delivery apps cost approx 15 to 20% more than logging on to the Prestwich Balti’s own website. Been getting voucher ‘offers’ in with our meals for months but never been able to use it but realise that was because the delivery app sites don’t recognise the offers.... and the drivers can’t answer. The meals are so very well made, plenty of quality meat, sauces and chunky ingredients. The chefs are the best, we always have the same Saag chicken tikka and Lamb Masala because we can’t bear to miss out on our favourite dishes. The nan is always freshly baked and one between us it plenty. A firm favourite.

Although I’ve lived in Prestwich for years I’d never tried this place until now. I regret that as it was amazing!! Every bit of the meal was lovely and we will def be back

This is an incredible takeaway, used it for 3 years and never had a bad meal. Extremely fresh and cooked in front of you if you go in and order.

We ordered a lot of dishes very tasty and not greasy the best Indian takeaway we have had for a long time recommend will order again Came hot as well very pleased

Not very happy they got my order wrong paid 30 quid for tasteless food not happy at all...was recommended but won't be having again

Ordered the Vegetable Rice dish - during it eating it I found chicken in it! as a Vegan this was pretty distressing.

Came here after Parklife a little worse for wear, I am almost 100% certain that the Naan Bread and Onion Bhajis that I had saved my life. The boys in the shop were all sound as well to say they had a takeaway full of muddy boots!
